Christian Post Report – Ever since LG missed the Mobile World Congress without unveiling a new Android flagship or high-end device, a lot of reports have been speculating that the Korean manufacturer will stick to its usual schedule of releasing the next G4 flagship this summer.

However, aside from its usual LG G flagship, another high-end device is reportedly under development – the G4 Note.

According to a new report from Phone Arena, it appears the LG G4 Note will be more high-end than the G4 flagship. The G4 is rumored to stick with a plastic frame and body, while the G4 Note will boast a premium-built metallic case.

LG is reportedly thinking of using metallic cases and chasses for its high-end devices. However, it looks like the G4 is too early a device to get that treatment. Apparently, the Korean manufacturer plans to use metal designs in the future, but not for the G4, which could be in its final stages of development.

So far, all we know about the LG G4 is that it boasts the same 5.5-inch display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 810 chipset that supports 64-bit applications, and options for 32GB and 64GB of built-in storage.

So far, the highest resolution LG has ever placed on a smartphone is 16 megapixels, so it would not be surprising for the Korean brand to follow HTC’s footsteps with the One M9, and go beyond 20MP.

Meanwhile, the rumored G4 Note will actually be LG’s new weapon against the Galaxy Note series from Samsung.

Consequently, both Korean phone makers might launch these two Android heavyweights during the IFA in Berlin later this year.

Christian Post Report – HTC is one of the most popular brands today thanks to its newly announced One M9. However, even before the MWC event in Barcelona where it announced its latest flagship, there were already rumors that a bigger and more powerful device is nearing its launch as well.

Dubbed as the One M9 Plus, the only thing that makes it different from the One M9 is its slightly bigger screen. But that is only on surface level. Deep down, the One M9 Plus is an entirely different beast, with a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution instead of the flagship’s measly Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.

Now according to a report by Phone Arena, more alleged specs have been “confirmed” by more rumors. Some of these include a 5.2-inch display and a metal body that is unlike anything the Taiwan-based manufacturer has ever done before.

In the report, the One M9 Plus would measure 5.94 x 2.85 x 0.4 inches (150.9 x 72.5 x 10.15 mm), which is already similar in dimensions as the Sony Xperia Z3. Other notable specs include a 20.7MP primary camera, a 4MP UltraPixel shooter, either a Snapdragon 810 or MediaTek chipset, or both.

Rounding up the rumored specs are the 2,840mAh battery, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a secondary back camera, and Android 5.0 or 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Just yesterday, a couple of leaked images surfaced comparing the One M9 and the M9 Plus. The only noticeable differences are the square-shaped camera of the M9 Plus, and its central physical home button.

Based on previous leaks, the handset may be announced some time during this summer.

Xiaomi is definitely on a roll.

Christian Post Report – After announcing two of the most powerful handsets in January, the Android-phone maker aims to provide an even cheaper alternative for the market.

According to a report by Phone Arena, a leaked image has surfaced online over the weekend, showing an alleged Xiaomi handset. The smartphone will be in the mid-range category, although its pricing would be much lower than most mid-range devices in the market.

The Xiaomi smartphone is tipped to boast some decent specs such as a 4.7-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, and a quad-core Lead Core LCI LC1860C CPU. The phone also runs on 1GB of RAM and Mali T628 GPU to take care of the graphics department. Also on board is an 8GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

The photography department comes with an impressive 13MP primary camera and a 2MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. Summing up the rumored spec sheet of the device is 4G LTE Cat.4, which can booast download speeds by up to 150mbps, and Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.

In the report, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun reportedly announced that the Chinese phone maker would soon launch a device that costs only $64.

While there is still nothing official about the pricing of the mysterious mid-ranger from Xiaomi, the market is already preparing for a low selling price.

Xiaomi is relatively a newcomer in the field of electronics and mobile technology. The company released its first smartphone in 2011, though the first device that caught the market’s attention was the Xiaomi Mi3.

This year, Xiaomi has already announced two high-end devices, and a third one might come by fall, dubbed as the Mi5.

Since the 2014-15 season began, a lot of basketball fans have been expecting the Chicago Bulls to make an impact in the Eastern Conference.

Christian Post Report – With the return of Derrick Rose, the rise of Jimmy Butler, the addition of premier big man Pau Gasol, and the recovery of former Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah, the Bulls are certainly in a good position to reach the ECF for only the second time in almost two decades.

Unfortunately, just when Rose was beginning to get hot with his 20-point, five-assist average in January, he suffered another injury.

Several weeks after his surgery, reports from Windy City are optimistic that the 26-year-old point guard will still make a return come playoff time. According to a report by the Chicago Tribune, Rose has been shooting threes in practice sessions, and he’s making most of them.

In an interview with Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, he said that the former MVP is “pretty close” to being cleared for contact.

“It’s just step-by-step,” said the former coach of the year. “The first week is just range of motion, strengthening the knee. And then you progress from there. He’s doing just about everything now except the contact.”

Currently, the Bulls are missing Rose’s playmaking skills, and the team has also lost six out of its last 10 games, dropping from the second spot in the East to fourth place behind Atlanta, Cleveland and Toronto.

Once Rose gets the nod to get physical during practice time, it will still definitely take a couple more weeks before he can play in an actual game.

But with the way Chicago is playing, the next game he’ll play may be the pre-season for 2015-16.

Christian Post Report – The Oklahoma City Thunder will try to complete their season series sweep against the Los Angeles Lakers when they meet at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in the NBA. The game will commence on March 24, 2015, and tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.

Oklahoma is trying to secure the last spot in the Western Conference playoff picture, as they are currently eighth in the group and hold a 2.5-game advantage on the Phoenix Suns.

The Thunder are on a three-game win streak as they have beaten the Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat at home. In those games, Russell Westbrook has continued to make his case as the league MVP as he averaged 28 points per game while pulling down eight rebounds and dishing out close to 14 assists a game. With the absence of key players such as Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka, the electrifying point guard has carried the load and his teammates have responded to the big task they are given.

As for the Lakers, they are officially out of the playoffs and are now essentially fighting to avoid the bottom of the West. They are currently sporting a 18-50 record and only lead the Minnesota Timberwolves by 3.5 games.

L.A. broke their four game losing streak with a big 101-87 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Jeremy Lin broke out in that game as he scored 29 points while shooting 10-of-16 from the field. He also pulled down five rebounds and five assists as the Lakers outplayed the young Sixers squad. In that win, the Lakers scored 48 percent from the field while out-rebounding the Sixers 52-39.

However, things will be different as they face Oklahoma City, as shown by their 108-101 and 104-103 losses at Staples Center.

In OKC’s win earlier this month, newcomers DJ Augustin and Enes Kanter performed well scoring 18 and 16, respectively. Nick Collison and Jeremy Lamb also provided a spark off the bench as the Thunder won even without Westbrook in the lineup.

The New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings faced off in last year’s Stanley Cup finals.

Christian Post Report – In a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup finals, the Los Angeles Kings visit the Madison Square Garden to face the New York Rangers in the NHL. The match is on March 24, 2015 and the puck drops by 7 p.m. ET.

Last year’s championship showcase ended in a 4-1 series win for the Kings, and the Rangers surely still have that in mind.

And in their first meeting of the season, New York won 4-3 in California.

In that match, Los Angeles took an early lead after Tanner Pearson opened the scoring in only the fifth minute of the match. The Kings doubled the lead less than two minutes after as Justin Williams’ slap shot beat Cameron Talbot. However, Dan Boyle cut the lead in half in the 11th minute of the period, before the Rangers rallied in the second frame behind three goals from Kevin Klein, Martin St. Louis and Lee Tempniak in a span of ten minutes.

Williams scored his second for the Kings in the third period as they tried to mount a comeback but with only four minutes left in the game it was a little too late.

At the moment, the Kings are without Pearson who is slated as week-to-week after an ankle injury early in the calendar year. Jarret Stoll is also sidelined and listed as day-to-day after an upper body injury he got in the second week of March.

For the Rangers, Klein and St. Louis are also out of action as the former injured his arm and is said to return by April, while the latter suffered a lower body injury last week.

Henrik Lundqvist is out indefinitely after a neck injury while the Kings are without lava Voynov for an unknown period of time due to a suspension.

Nina admits that she’s faking being crazy so she could stay with Franco. Franco also tells Scott that he too is faking, and Scott advises him to continue doing so.

Across town, Liz and Jake are having a romantic dinner at her place and they agree to give their relationship another try. The doorbell rings, and Liz goes to the door. A woman introduces herself and looks for Jake. When Liz asks who she is, she says that she is Jake’s wife.

At the gym, Nathan gets in the ring with Spinelli. Spinelli tires Nathan out, but Nathan knocks him down with one punch, just as Maxie walks in.

Christian Post Report – Kelly Rowland, the singer formerly of Destiny’s Child, is opening up about how her new family is helping her grieve the loss of her mother.

The 34-year-old singer’s mother Doris Rowland Garrison, 66, died last year. The tragic news came just weeks after Rowland gave birth to her first child, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon.

In a whirlwind year, Rowland also married her manager and husband Tim Witherspoon in 2014. While on “The Meredith Vieira Show” recently, Rowland spoke about her husband and son helping her deal with the loss of her mother.

“It’s definitely been a challenge. My husband says, ‘You know babe you should think about it as a new normal,'” Rowland told host Meredith Vieria. “I think I’ve done that but I’m so blessed to have my son. I don’t think I’ve had the time to really really grieve but I feel her presence often.”

Rowland went on to describe instances when she felt her mother was present with her son.

“Something that happened the other day Titan was laughing and I was like ‘what is this boy laughing at’ because it was such a belly filled giggle. He was looking up and smiling and laughing,” Rowland recalled on the talk show. “I was like, that’s mom. I just know she is always near and I am just so grateful for that.”

Despite her loss, Rowland believes there was a divine plan in place saying, “God gave me an angel, he took one of my angels away but he still has her covering and hovering over us and I’m so blessed for that.”

After the loss of her mother, Rowland released a heartfelt statement to fans about losing the important woman in her life.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my mother, Doris Rowland Garrison. She was an incredible soul who made countless sacrifices so that I could become the woman — and now mother — I am today,” Rowland said in a statement obtained by E! News. “We humbly appreciate all the love and support and only ask for privacy during this difficult time.”

Michelle Williams is back with her fourth solo album “Journey To Freedom.”

Christian Post Report – Michelle Williams is allowing her fans to participate in her next music video for the single, “Believe In Me.”

Williams, the 34-year-old singer, is gearing up to film the music video for her latest single. Before she does, she is allowing fans to record themselves singing the tune which could become a part of the montage featured in the official “Believe In Me” music video.

The singer’s official website outlines the rules of the competition, which will allow people from all ages, backgrounds, locations, ethnicities, occupations and genders to participate.

“We want the videos to feel very raw and natural so no big productions please. You can sing by yourself or with other people as well,” Williams’ website states. “If your video is selected we are going to edit a clip of your submission together along with other fan submitted videos along with Michelle singing the song in a similar way to create an official music video for the record (ala Pharrell – Happy or Nickelback – Rockstar).”

The deadline for the competition is April 5.

Williams previously spoke with The Christian Post about her latest single, which is the most personal on her record, “Journey To Freedom.” She described penning “Believe in Me,” the song she most connects with on her album.

“People might tell you ‘oh my gosh you’re great, you have a great calling on your life,’ or ‘Oh your hair is so pretty today'” Williams told CP. “…If I come to you and give you a compliment, it probably should be confirmation of what you already know. I just did not believe, I didn’t think I was as good as other people around me.”

However, God showed Williams just how wrong she was.

“God keeps showing me time after time with the different things that He does in the industry that He’s with me and that He believes in me,” she told CP. “I know that it’s only Him that makes a way.”

Williams grew up in church all of her life and came to realize that her faith in God must also be evident in the belief she has in herself.

“He is real, and if God is real and He continues to bless me and allows me to do what I love, than I need to believe in me,” she told CP. “I believe in God, but you have to believe in yourself with God.”

Christian Post Report – Kierra Sheard is getting ready to debut her plus-sized clothing line to the world.

Kierra, 27, is known for her powerhouse voice in the gospel music industry. As the daughter of Grammy Award-winning singer Karen Clark Sheard of the gospel music group The Clark Sisters, and Bishop J. Drew Sheard, she has managed to make her mark in the music world.

Now, it seems Kierra is ready to take over the world of fashion. She took to Instagram to announce her new business venture.

“My clothing line for Full figured women is coming soon,” Sheard wrote on Instagram. “I’m excited to announce that the launch of my clothing line for full figured women is coming soon… #eleven60 #plusSize.”

She went on to point out the need for a clothing line representing full-figured women.

“I’ve learned that the full figured apparel represents almost eighteen billion dollars and is growing. However, we haven’t been accepted into the high fashion realm,” Sheard wrote. “Why?! We are the money! Let’s show them how and why we should be accepted.”

Although she has yet to share a release date, Sheard gave fans a glimpse of what they can expect from her upcoming fashion line.

“It’s a clothing line that complements the thick woman. While being a full figured woman, I’ve found it hard to find quality and high fashion trends in my size,” Sheard wrote. “But no more skimpy clothes! And no more muu muus! Since the average American woman is plus size, I should be able to healthily, and fabulously own it!”

Sheard released her fifth album, Graceland last year, and spoke to The Christian Post about the concept behind it.

“I’m really kind of spilling the beans about my spiritual walk without giving all of my business. I’m letting people into my life, letting them know that I am human,” she told The Christian Post . “I’m letting people know, hey I may struggle with the same thing you do but God is working on me and it’s a process. It’s going to be a continual process until Jesus returns.”
