Host Kristen Bell arrives at the 2014 CMT Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee June 4, 2014.

Christian Post Report – Kristen Bell has expressed her love for “Frozen,” and says she’s all geared up for the sequel.

“Frozen” actress Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, is looking forward to being part of the sequel to Disney’s Academy award-winning and highest grossing animated film in history.

Disney announced “Frozen 2” a little over a week ago after it released a short film, “Frozen Fever,” featuring Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf preparing a birthday party for Anna. The second movie is currently in development at the Disney Animation Studios after the unprecedented success of the first animated movie spurred studio executives to decide on the sequel.

With the first film grossing $1.2 billion since it premiered in November 2013, Disney is looking forward to another big payday when “Frozen 2” hits theaters at a still unannounced date.

Bell had earlier been quoted as saying she was hoping there would be a sequel just hours after Disney officially announced the second film was in the pipeline.

“I would play Anna forever if they would let me,” she told CBS News. “Always and forever want to build a snowman.”

She also shared her exhilaration on social media, posting “Dreams really do come 2!!!” #FROZEN2 #itsofficial” on her Twitter feed.

Bell, 34, has also expressed how much she adored playing Anna, but also enjoyed the time she spent with the production team, calling them “talented and super kind.”

The same production team from the first film was behind “Frozen Fever,” writing the music for the short’s film’s song, and are likely going to be tapped for the sequel’s production, as well.

The sequel, when it is released, will be Disney’s first sequel as an individual entity, not counting the franchises it has spawned with Pixar.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Youtube Screenshot/ file

Samsung Galaxy S6

Christian Post Report – The Samsung Galaxy 6 is coming out in the market in a matter of weeks, and many who are waiting to get their hands on Samsung’s latest flagship know that so far, this is the Korean company’s most beautifully designed handset to date, with its all metal body and top of the line specs. But how will it do when compared to the Google Nexus 6?

Google’s supersized smartphone has been getting rave reviews since it was launched last year, with its big screen and powerful specs. Though the phone is a few months older than devices launched at this year’s CES and MWC, it can still hold its own in the ultra-competitive smartphone arena.

Here, we compare the Google Nexus 6 with the Samsung Galaxy S6:

Design:
The Galaxy S6 has a glass and metal build and has a more premium feel than its predecessors. The phone has rounded tops and bottoms and straight sides, and it measures 5.6.x 2.8 x 0.27 inches and weighs 4.9 ounces. The phone is available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Blue Topaz.

The Nexus 6 has a gently curved silver aluminium frame with a smooth, matte plastic rear. The phone measures 6.27 x 3.27 x 0.40 inches and is quite hefty as it weighs 6.49 ounces. The handset is available in Midnight Blue and White.

Features:
Though both phones’ displays have a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, the difference in screen size means a big difference in pixel density. The Samsung phone has a 5.1-inche Super AMOLED display which translates to pixel density of 577ppi, while the Nexus 6 has a 6-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density count of 493ppi.

The Google Nexus 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, while the Galaxy S6 has the Exynos 7 octa-core chip set. Both phones run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Samsung phone has the better cameras as it’s equipped with a 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, while the Google device has a 13MP rear camera and 2MP front camera.

The Galaxy S6 is available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models, and the phone’s memory cannot be expanded due to the lack of a microSD card slot. The Nexus 6 comes at 32GB and 64GB models.

Price:
The Samsung Galaxy S6 will go on sale by April 2015 and is expected to cost $855 for the 32GB model, $970 for the 64GB variant, and $1,085 for the 128GB model. Meanwhile, the Nexus 6 costs $750 for the 32GB model and $820 for the 64GB model.

Dancing with the Stars Facebook/ Dancing with the Stars

Dancing With the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli

Christian Post Report – The second week of “Dancing with the Stars” had the celebrities choose the songs for their performances as the theme of the week was “My Jam Monday.” Some of the couples who turned in a lackluster performance last week redeemed themselves this time around as a few pairs who were at the bottom of the leaderboard last week advanced, but one celebrity was sent home.

Here is a recap of the performances and scores for week 2 of “Dancing With the Stars’:

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Cha-Cha
Score: 32 (out of 40)
The pair’s cha-cha to Adele’s “Rumor Has It” earned a lot of applause from the audience and praise from the judges. Julianne Hough said that it was a “powerhouse performance” and that Willis’ legs were “super sharp and super quick”, while Carrie Ann Inaba praised the choreography.

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas
Dance: Argentine Tango
Score: 32
Their tango to Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” was fiery and spirited that it surprised Shields too. “I can’t believe I did that!” said the 14-year old. “You showed maturity in your dance,” said Len Goodman. “You came out here with such intensity!” added Hough.

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 28
Herjavec addressed the dating rumors about him and his dance partner as he said, “I’m not sure either of us really pay attention to any of that stuff!” Their dance was a hit with the judges as Inaba told them, “You guys are like a fairy tale!”

Chris Soules and Witney Carson
Dance: Cha-Cha
Score: 21
The rehearsal footage showed Soules having some trouble mastering the choreography. “You got your feet stuck in a jam,” noted Bruno Tonioli. “That was some pretty intricate choreography for the second week,” said Hough.

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough
Dance: Rumba
Score: 34
Their rumba to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” was praised by Julianne Hough as she said, “That was beautifully executed.” Inaba added, “The quality of motion was spectacular … you just took yourself to a whole other level.” Their dance earned them the first straight 9s of the competition, placing them on top of the leaderboard this week.

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess
Dance: Samba
Score: 27
The pair’s cowboy-themed Samba to “Homegrown Honey” prompted Inaba to say, “What’s so impressive is the way you know how to manipulate energy and flow. You guys are a wonderful team and that was a great execution.”

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigventsev
Dance: Salsa
Score: 28
Though LaBelle sustained a knee injury, her salsa to “In Da Club” made Tonioli compare her dancing to Cookie on the show “Empire.” “You sing with soul and you dance with soul,” said Goodman.

Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe
Dance: Cha-Cha
Score: 26
This week, the model and her partner showed an improvement over last week’s performance as they danced to “California Girls”. Hough said, “I feel like there is so much within you and so much potential that we haven’t quite seen yet.”

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 28
Their foxtrot to “Workin’ My Way Back to You Babe” was compared by Hough to a “Broadway performance” and Inaba told Sam, “This week, you are in the game!”

Redfoo and Emma Slater
Dance: Jive
Score: 31
Redfoo impressed the judges with his jive to “My Sharona”, and Tonioli said “you went from running on empty to running on plenty” while Inaba told the pair that they were “in the zone.”

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Jive
Score: 28
“What I loved was the spring in your step!” said Inaba of their jive. Somers got emotional after their dance as she said, “I just want all the women out there who are my age to know it’s not about your age. It’s about your energy.”

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 32
The pair’s dance to Maroon 5’s “Sugar” earned them second place on the leaderboard, tying with Willis and Shields. Tonioli praised Lynch’s dancing style, calling it “so hip and so now” while Inaba said that “everything was so elegant.

In the end, Redfoo and Slater were eliminated, and the studio audience were stunned and clearly disagreed with the results.

“I’m just happy that I got the chance to dance and I did my best,” said Redfoo. “I think Emma is the best and I wanted to be there for her.”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC News: DLC Pack 2 ‘Ascendance’ Arrives March 31

CoD YouTube Screencap

On March 31, Xbox One and Xbox 360 players will be the first to receive the second downloadable content pack for “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,” according to game developer Sledgehammer Games and publisher ActiVision.

Prior to this, however, the DLC pack 2 called “Ascendance” can also be previewed at the 2015 Call of Duty Championship on March 29, which will be broadcast through Xbox Live and other broadcasting partners, according to a report in Tech Times.

Even before the new content hits game consoles, descriptions about what to expect are already available online, through various reports on gaming websites. The Tech Times report says that “Ascendance” will include “four new multiplayer maps, a bonus weapon, a custom weapon variant and the new Exo Grapple ability.”

The four new maps will feature the use of “Exo abilities” and “the next chilling entry in the Exo Zombies experience,” was the description that Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey gave. The maps are named Perplex, Site 244, Climate and Chop Shop.

Perplex is situated in “a five-story modular apartment building that constantly changes as construction drones move the apartment’s modules.” Site 244 is set in Mt. Rushmore “where a crashed alien spaceship has spilled mysterious cargo.” In Climate, players will find themselves in “a man-made, climate-controlled enclosure, with a river that changes from being friendly to harmful.” In Chop Shop, players have to fight it out in “an industrial complex, with the map’s scorestreak allowing gamers to secure certain areas through an Advanced Repulsion Turret.”

The Exo Zombies game was first introduced in the first DLC pack “Havoc.” In this DLC pack, the game will have a new episode where players can play with John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal as they fight off hordes of zombies.

In terms of new weapons, “Ascendance” will feature the OHM directed energy light machine gun-shotgun hybrid weapon, while the custom variant is for the OHM Werewolf. The Exo Grapple on the other hand was described as something that “gives players a faster way to reach strategic vantage points or a brutal secondary weapon to take down the competition.”

The “Ascendance” DLC Pack can be bought for $15. Season Pass holders who paid $49.99 for the four DLC packs for the year will get instant access to the DLC pack once available.

Halo 5: Guardians News: Is Master Chief a Traitor? New Trailer to Reveal More on March 29

Halo 5 Picture: Microsoft

Halo 5

Christian Post Report – The release of “Halo 5: Guardians” is many months away, but the game’s creator 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft Studios are ramping up the game’s promotional campaign online. Over the weekend, the teaser site kicked off what most call an Alternate Reality Game or ARG around the main character in the game called Master Chief.

The site features a bullet with the word “TRAITOR” on it, and a sound clip with a hashtag Hunt the Truth. The sound clip features the voice of a fictional journalist named Benjamin Giraud who “has begun a brand-new investigative series that promises mystery, drama and some tantalizing intrigue.” Giraud is supposedly working on an in-depth profile of Master Chief and he is inviting fans to check the site weekly for new episodes.

The first audio episode on the Tumbler site huntthetruth.tumblr.com, entitled “Episode 00.PRIMER” has this summary: “What began as a high-profile story quickly turns into a full-blown investigation. Sources claim they know the ‘real Master Chief:’ The boy, the soldier, the hero … the traitor? But who’s telling the truth?” A new episode is due on March 29, which can provide additional clues to the mystery.

Microsoft is known for “experimental marketing campaigns” such as these. For “Halo 2,” they launched the ILoveBees campaign that had players investigate a website, solve puzzles and put the pieces of a narrative together, according to a report in Polygon. It is likely that this is the same strategy that Microsoft is doing for “Halo 5.”

“Halo 5: Guardians” is part of the “Halo” franchise. “Halo 5” is a first-person shooter video game. The game’s main characters who continue from “Halo 4,” are Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 and Spartan Locke. Master Chief is said to be on the run and Locke is tasked to hunt him down.

The game will be playable only on the Xbox One, unlike older games of the series which were playable on Xbox 360 as well. According to a Wikipedia entry, the game will run at 60 frames per second and will make use of Xbox One’s dedicated servers.

Moving Hearts

Then the king said to me, “What do you request?” So I prayed to the God of heaven.
— Nehemiah 2:4

Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California and Harvest Orange County in Irvine, California, shares the Gospel with a sold-out crowd of 19,000 for Harvest America at the American Airlines Center and Victory Park in Dallas, Texas, Oct. 5, 2014.

Christian Post Report – Did you know the Lord can move the heart of a king? Or a prime minister? Or a president? The Bible says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes” (Proverbs 21:1).

The Bible tells the story of Nehemiah, who was cupbearer to the king of Persia. A cupbearer tasted all of the king’s food in case someone was trying to poison him. But in reality, Nehemiah was more than that. Being in such close proximity to the king, the cupbearer would end up being a counselor to the king. So the position of cupbearer became one of great influence. And someone in that situation wouldn’t have wanted to do anything to jeopardize it.

Nehemiah, however, was a Jew. He had heard about how the walls of Jerusalem lay in ruins, and his heart went out to his fellow Jews. He thought that perhaps God had put him where he was to do something good for his people. Yet to approach the king and incur his disfavor could cost him his life.

As Nehemiah pondered all this, it made him sad. The king noticed this one day and asked Nehemiah why he was depressed, so Nehemiah explained what was bothering him. Then the king said, “What do you request?”

I love what happened next: “So I [Nehemiah] prayed to the God of heaven” (Nehemiah 2:4). No doubt it was one of those prayers on the fly, the kind you pray when you’re suddenly summoned to the boss’s or principal’s office. Nehemiah prayed, and the Lord moved the king’s heart.

We need to pray for those who are in authority over us. Pray that God would help them make the right decisions and guide and lead their steps.

‘Attack on Titan’ Manga Series Releases First Live-Action Movie Trailer (VIDEO)

Attack of Titan YouTube/Screengrab

200-foot Titan from “Attack of Titan” teaser trailer. YouTube screengrab. March 19, 2015.

Christian Post Report – Japanese manga series “Attack on Titan” recently released the trailer for its first full-length movie as a teaser for what is said to be two films to be released in the summer 2015.

Highly popular Japanese manga series “Attack on Titan” released the trailer for its live-action film adaptation, taking fans by storm and heightening anticipation for two films on the series scheduled for release this summer, with an August 1 Japan premiere.

“Attack on Titan” was launched in 2009, and started gaining worldwide popularity four years later. Written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, the series is set in an apocalyptic earth where humans have cordoned themselves off in circular walled cities to avoid being eaten by giant humanoids called Titans. The walls have kept the monsters at bay until a 200-foot tall specimen appears and threatens the population, putting the economy and food sources at risk.

The story features three major characters, Eren Yeager, his adopted sister, Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend, Armin Arlert, all of whom try to stay ahead of the people-eating Titans.

The popularity of the manga series spawned other media offerings, like mini novels, video games, an anime series, a movie compilation, and finally, its first live-action film.

The trailer, a Nihongo language version which Western fans have deemed cryptic, shows only a brief glimpse of the Titans, one of whom raises up a human to snack on, before the trailer cuts away. Another scene shows the 200-foot Titan getting ready to smash a wall, while the rest of the teaser is filled with explosions, screaming people, and bloodied humans.

In the live-action movie, Japanese actor, Miura Haruma will star as Yeager and Mizuhara Kiku will be playing Ackerman. The screenplay for the film is credited to Tomohiro Machiyama, with “Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods” director Yusuke Watanabe helming the live-action film.

While the Japan premiere has already been announced, no word has yet been released on the official premiere for North America.

‘Stars Wars: Battlefront 3’ News: Confirmed on PC, PS4 and Xbox One for Holiday 2015 Release

Star Wars Battlefront 3 YouTube/Image

Screengrab from the Star Wars Battlefront 3 teaser by DICE, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts

Christian Post Report – Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that “Stars Wars: Battlefront 3” is being made for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is unclear however whether the PC version will be available for both Mac and SteamOS. What is clear from the recent announcement is that the game will not be available for 7th generation consoles such as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

As far as definite release date, the game’s developers are still gunning for a Holiday 2015 release, which can be between October to December 2015., according to Gamranx. Some reports are, however, saying that the game will be released in conjunction with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” movie release in December 2015.

Electronic Arts has also confirmed that it will unveil more of the game during the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California, which is slated from April 16 to 19.

“We could not think of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it,” EA announced on their site.

“Star Wars: Battlefront 3” is a first person shooter video game, which is actually EA Digital Illusions CE’s take on what the “Battlefront” series should be. Two previous versions of the game were developed by other developers, namely Free Radical Design, Pandemic Studios and Rebellion Developments. In May 2013, EA signed an exclusive deal with Disney for rights to develop certain Star Wars games.

EA DICE is known for its “Battlefield” games and its use of the Frostbite 3 game engine, which is really intended for first person shooters. Apart from this, the developers have also revealed that the Planet’s Hoth and Endor will be “playable maps” in the game.

TAG Heuer and Intel Partner to Bring a Luxury Android Smartwatch to Rival Apple Watch

TAG Heuer logo REUTERS/RUBEN SPRICH

The Tag Heuer logo is seen at the entrance of their new watch manufactory in Chevenez November 5, 2013.

Christian Post Report – Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer has partnered with Intel Corporation and Google, Inc. to bring a luxury smartwatch that is said to rival the Apple Watch. The announcement was big news during the 2015 Baselworld Watch Fair.

TAG Heuer will create a smartwatch version of its Carrera watch powered by Intel wearable technology and operating on Google’s Android mobile operating system, which it plans to launch in the fourth quarter of 2015. According to a report in Forbes, Tag Heuer’s move to jump in the smartwatch race is primarily because of the expected impact of the release of the Apple Watch on the luxury watch market.

Luxury brands like TAG Heuer, Tissot and Omega may find themselves some competition especially with the Apple Watch’s 18-karat gold model. The report also cites a JP Morgan estimate that “33 percent of the Swatch Group’s profit is exposed to Apple’s smartwatch threat.”

Not much is known about what the smartwatch will look like or how much it will cost, but the Forbes report says that it will carry most of the functions that an Apple watch offers such as geolocation, distance walked and altitude.

TAG Heuer’s Chief Executive Jean-Claude Biver told The New York Times that “the smartwatch is in keeping with an industry built on intricate mechanical timepieces.” He also declared that instead of the new smartwatch competing with other traditional timepieces such as chronographs, it should be marketed in a way that it attracts a younger set of consumers who are “excited to dress up their wrists.”

Intel Corporation on the other hand believes that wearable technology “will take off.” The company has partnered with other consumer brands to create different types of wearable technologies from sunglasses to watches.

Other luxury brands seem to be following suit. Breitling already has a prototype called B55 Connected that can connect to an iPhone and has smartwatch functions. Gucci announced that it will develop a smartband with i.am with smartwatch functions as well.

‘The Flash’ Season 1 Cast News, Spoilers: Captain Cold and Heat Wave Return, DC Villain and Deathbolt to Appear

The Flash Youtube Screenshot/ file

Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller guest star in The Flash

Christian Post Report – Things are getting more explosive and exhilarating in the hit superhero drama TV series “The Flash” as it now draws closer to its season finale. However, this week’s episode will definitely not fall short of the excitement the show often brings when it hits the small screens.

A synopsis from The Futon Critic indicates that two previous Rogue villains will return to once again wreak havoc in Central City.

The Flash (Grant Gustin) is yet to have another encounter with the partners in crime Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) as he learns that the two are back in the City. Joining the party is Snart’s baby sister Lisa Snart (guest star Peyton List) otherwise known as the Golden Glider, who will definitely amp up the chaos.

Speaking of intensity, TV series headlines cited the arrival of yet another DC super-villain not only in the show but also in “Arrow.”

As indicated by Variety, actor Doug Jones will first head to Starling City and meet its billionaire guardian, Green Arrow/Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in episode 19 titled “Broken Arrow.”

Playing as the electrifying supervilllain named Deathbolt, Jones will also bring his character to Bart Allen’s Central City in the show’s season finale, Episode 22, which is reportedly titled “Rogue Air.”

With all these villains mounting up in the series, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg informed TVLine (via Screen Rant) that there will be even more to come in the next season.

“We’re going to do something with all the Rogues. I can’t promise it’s going to be this season. We know that if the original [1990s] Flash series had gotten a second season, both John [Wesley Shipp] and Mark [Hamill] have told us that the first episode was going to be a giant Rogues episode. And that sounds like maybe a good thing for us to do, what they didn’t get the opportunity to do,” the showrunner said.

“The Flash” airs this Tuesday, March 24 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
