Christian Post Report – Things are getting more intense and exciting as the second season of the hit crime fighting superhero drama TV series “Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.” continues with this week’s explosive episode.

Titled “One of US,” spoiler reports from IBTimes indicated that Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) might lose another agent as the team is about to face the wrath of Calvin Zabo (Kyle Maclachlan) who will be assembling a team of supervillains to help him exact his revenge against the agency.

Joining him in the ranks are Karla Faye Gideon (Drea de Matteo), Wendell Levi (Ric Sarabia) and Francis Noche (Geo Corvera) all of which are deadly on their own rights.

The report went on to indicate that Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) newfound powers could put her at risk with the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Entertainment Weekly reported that they “will discover a debilitating effect of Skye’s powers that could jeopardize her future with the team.”

Skye’s contraction of the Inhuman power already caused a rift among S.H.I.E.L.D. members with Fitz (Iain De Caestcker), May (Ming-Na Wen) and the director vowing to protect her at all cost. Mack (Henry Simmons) was meanwhile upset when he learns they were trying to keep the agent’s powers a secret.

A synopsis posted on The Futon Critic meanwhile indicated that help is coming for the team. As said, May will call on her “charismatic ex-husband,” the renowned Dr. Andrew Garner (Blair Underwood) to assist the S.H.I.E.L.D. in handling the pressing matters at hand.

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs this Tuesday, March 17 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Christian Post Report – Bayer Leverkusen’s Hakan Calhanoglu (C) scores a goal past Atletico Madrid’s goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya.

In their first meeting at BayArena, Bayer got a surprise result as Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored the match’s only goal in the 57th minute. It was an intense affair as five Bayer players were cautioned, while Atletico had four of their own, including a red card on Tiago for getting his second booking. Diego Godin also had a booking in the match and, as a result, the two stars will not be available to play in the second leg.

As far as injuries are concerned, Saúl Ñíguez is out for Atletico due to a back injury, while Robbie Kruse will not take part for Bayer as he is recovering from an ankle knock.

Many still consider Atletico as favourites in the match, despite losing the first leg. This is due to them finishing as finalists last year and the team have advanced into the quarter-finals of the competition seven times.

Ironically, Leverkusen have never gotten past the round-of-16 and have a golden opportunity following the win in the first leg.

They are in excellent for as they have not lost in their last six matches across all competitions, winning their last five. As it stands, they are fourth in the Bundesliga and are only two points behind Borussia Monchengladbach for automatic contention in next year’s European competition.

Atletico have struggled as of late, failing to win in their last four matches in all competitions. Since their loss to Bayer in the Champions League, Madrid have drawn three consecutive matches in the Spanish La Liga.

They are also fourth in their respective league, one point behind Valencia and four points ahead of Sevilla.

This recent casting call news indicate that the next big screen offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe “Captain America: Civil War” is now already gaining speed on its filming production in order for them to make it for the slated May 2016 opening date.

Christian Post Report – The Atlanta Journal Constitution revealed that the “Captain America 3” crew is currently looking for movie extras displaying strong South Asian features. This is great news for men and women with ethnicities like Thai, Indonesian, Cambodian, Malaysian, Filipino, East Indian, Vietnamese, or Singaporean.

The candidates should preferably fall between the 21 to 75 age bracket. Those lucky enough will be working at the huge new Pinewood Studio facility located in Fayette County, Ga.

The work date, as indicated, will “tentatively” take place on April 27th.

In October 2014, Marvel Studios revealed Civil War as part of MCU’s Phase Three slate. The announcement, which took the fans by storm, went on to specify that its titular hero (played by Chris Evans) is set to go up against co-Avenger Iron-Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.).

The story, as previously revealed, will take place after the “Age of Ultron” events, which comic book readers might have already known will cause a big rift among the Marvel heroes.

Confirmed to return as directors are the “Winter Soldier” helmers Anthony and Joseph Russo. Also reported to join Evans and RDJ is Jeremy Renner, who will suit up as his Avengers’ character Hawkeye in the upcoming title.

“Captain America: Civil War” is slated to hit the theatres May 6, 2016.

Christian Post Report – Monaco’s Geoffrey Kondogbia scores their first goal against Arsenal in the 3-1 victory.

In their first meeting at the Emirates Stadium, Monaco completed the upset by winning 3-1, now getting an aggregate lead going to the return leg. Geoffrey Kondogbia started the scoring for Monaco in the 38th minute, converting a swift pass from Joao Moutinho. In the second half, Dimitar Berbatov doubled the vistors’ lead as he scored in the 53rd minute.

Arsenal seemed to get one back, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netting one late in injury time, but the two-goal lead was restored after Ferreira Carrasco beat the Arsenal defense four minutes into stoppage time to end the game 3-1.

Now the Gunners must do what no other team has done in the Champions League era, score at least two goals in the away leg of the match after losing their home tie.

Injuries are abundant for both teams as Monaco will be without Lacina Traore who is suffering from a shin fracture, while Tiémoué Bakayoko has a hamstring injury. Defender Andrea Raggi has a knock on his knee and will not see any action as well.

For Arsenal, they will be without Oxlade-Chamberlain who has a hamstring pull, while Mikel Arteta, Matthieu Debuchy and Abou Diaby are also unavailable due to injury.

Monaco have been excellent in their last seven matches across all competitions. They have only lost once in that span, with their most recent result a 3-0 win over Bastia.

Arsenal have also been in excellent form, only losing twice in their last 14 games. Since their loss to Monaco, the London club have gone on and won their last four games, only conceding two goals in the process.

‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ Cast News, Spoilers: Jessica Lange Checking Out, Who’s Checking In?

Matt Bomer Reuters/File

Actor Matt Bomer arrives at the 72nd Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California Jan. 11, 2015

Christian Post Report – The recently held PaleyFest in Los Angeles this weekend gave the fans and the media the first-hand confirmation on anything about “American Horror Story” and its upcoming installment “Hotel.”

Joined by the cast and crew of AHS at the panel discussion, there are several things that have been confirmed. One of which is the long hinted speculation that lead star Jessica Lange won’t be checking in for “Hotel.”

In front of the large crowd, the Emmy award winner clarified that she will be leaving the popular FX anthology series.

“I’m done,” the actress answered when asked by the moderator. “We’ve had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it.”

But with one coming out, there’s two going in. The Hollywood Reporter indicated in their report that executive producer Ryan Murphy’s frequent collaborators Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson will be joining the AHS family which will also see the involvement of another newcomer, Lady Gaga.

As for the two gentlemen, THR said that Bomer will take on the “male lead” role while Jackson “will join the ensemble.”

The “White Collar” lead star is no stranger to AHS. Followers may remember him appearing for a guest role on last season’s “Freak Show.” On the other hand, it will be the first time for Jackson to be in AHS.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” is reported to begin production for its 13 episodes this late summer in time for an October opening.

Christian Post Report – News about the highly anticipated Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather Jr. May 2 bout indicates that the former underwent a random drug test over the weekend.

The fighting Filipino congress member had the drug test two days after he agreed to submit himself to the proposed Olympic-style drug testing, Yahoo! Sports reported.

A local Philippine news outlet revealed that the eight-division boxing world champion had given “blood and urine samples” to a medical technician who came to the boxer’s training center in Los Angeles “unannounced.”

The samples submitted, as further detailed out, will be examined for human growth hormone (HGH), erythropoietin (EPO), and other substances.

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather agreed on a deal to undergo the random drug testing, which is to be administered by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency before and after the Las Vegas fight.

In related news, tensions continue to build between the two boxing camps. Just this week, Pac-Man’s famed trainer Freddie Roach voiced out his distaste for the currently undefeated boxer, implying that Mayweather is a bad seed and bad influence for the young generation.

“I mean he’s not a good guy, he’s not a good person, he’s not a good role model,” Roach told the sports analyst Jim Rome. “I’ve never seen him dislike an opponent in my life, but you know what, he [Pacquiao] doesn’t like this guy [Mayweather].”

‘Insidious: Chapter 3’ New Trailer Video, News: New International Teaser Unveiled

Insidious: Chapter 3 FACEBOOK/ Insidious

Blumhouse Productions’ upcoming horror-thriller film “Insidious: Chapter 3”

Christian Post Report – The latest international trailer for Blumhouse’s upcoming horror thriller offering “Insidious: Chapter 3” was released last week and for those who missed it doesn’t have to bother themselves looking for the video.

The trailer, as indicated by Enstarz.com, offered pretty much nothing new as to what has been unveiled in the first teaser last year.

The clip, tagged with the “darkest chapter,” features Dermot Mulroney playing the father named Sean to Stefanie Scott’s Sue. Same as the previous sneak peek, Sue is seen being wheeled in by her dad into their new apartment.

The horror ensues as the badly injured character retires to her bedroom and heard a mysterious knocking from the other side of her room’s wall.

Touted to be more hauntingly terrifying as the first two installments, the new film series will see yet another unsuspecting family taken into the otherworld known as “The Further.”

The upcoming film is also reported to predate the haunting of the Lambert family which was featured in the two previous movies. Furthermore, it will offer fans a deeper insight into the mysteries of the otherworldly realm and its hostile ghostly inhabitants.

Joining Mulroney and Scott are Lin Shaye who will play as Elise Rainier, Leigh Whannel as Specs, Angus Sampson as Tucker, Hayley Kiyoko as Maggie, Ashton Moio as Hector, Steve Coulter as Carl, and Elle Keats as Lilith.

Blumhouse executive producer and founder Jason Blum meanwhile informed the media that Insidious 3 and Sinister 2 might be the first step for the production house to follow the shared world trend currently popularized by Marvel on its Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“We’re not close to an ‘Avengers’, but I do like the idea of having the worlds collide in the different franchises we work on. That’s a really cool idea … I want to continue to do that,” Blum said.

“Insidious: Chapter 3” is slated to hit the theaters this June 5, 2015.

The Techland and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment video game update was released March 10 in the U.S. and yesterday in Europe, with the promise of more features to come.

The DLC provides players with free content, Hard Mode for PC versions of the game, Time Trial Mode, dune buggies, and 50 new weapons. Players who finish the story campaign will be rewarded with four new outfits as well.

Polish developer Techland has added new twists and enhancements to the gameplay, improved visuals, new character art, and a new option activating a zombie invasion quest once players disable the co-op.

Fans of the best-selling title will have access to new national outfits, weapon rarity levels with rare Gold level weapons, and experience the new tweaks added to shops, crafting, and loot chests, as well as improved general movement flow in the game.

Paul Milewski, Techland’s PR Manager revealed the developer is currently working on more improvements, saying Version 1.5 has been the result of player feedback.

Despite its modest critical review, “Dying Light” has become a massive hit with worldwide audiences since its release in January 2015, breaking the first month sales records in the U.K.

Billy Graham Rapid Response Team Shares Prayer, Time With Community of Ferguson After Police Shooting

Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (Photo: Facebook/Billy Graham Rapid Response Team)

Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains pray with Ferguson residents late last year. The chaplains returned to Ferguson last week after violence erupted there again.

Christian Post Report – The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team went to Ferguson, Missouri, last week in the aftermath of a police shooting in order to help the town deal with its frustration and offer prayer for those who needed it.

“We’re here to try to bring unity throughout the community, through emotional and spiritual care,” Al New, manager of deployments and operations for the team, said in a Facebook post. “We’re neutral. We’re not here for one side or the other; we’re here for everybody.”

The team included eight trained chaplains familiar with the situation and unrest in Ferguson since the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown and now the official resignation of the police chief and several other high-profile officials. Members of the team were invited to return to the town last week in order to provide a sense of stability and relief in the midst of the turmoil.

“What we saw before was a lot of anger and hurt and pain as a result of loss,” Jack Munday, international director of the team, said on Thursday. “Now what we’re seeing is all those emotions, plus a new layer of fear, to know that there is a shooter loose in the community.”

According to the organization, several people were helped and even stopped from engaging in protests thanks to the mobile team. Kevin Williams, one of the chaplains, said that three teenage boys on their way to the protests stopped by the mobile unit and started talking with him; they decided not to engage in the protests and actually went to get their cousin so she could meet the chaplains. It was a sign to the chaplains that their presence was making a difference.

“It is not possible to solve a community’s deep-rooted problems with a team of chaplains deployed for six weeks, and we knew that before we started,” Franklin Graham said ahead of the team’s first trip to Ferguson. “But God used the chaplains to touch many hearts and to play fruitful seeds in the community.”

Jeffrey Williams, 20, was arrested on Sunday and charged with felony assault, armed criminal actions, and a weapons offense in the shooting of the two officers. His attorney argued that he was not trying to aim at someone else and that the officers were “accidentally” shot.
