Christian Post Report – When LG introduced the LG G Flex 2 at the CES 2015, the Korean company proved that they were ahead in the game as they launched the device which capable of bending and flexing, while improving its specs so tech fans may be able to distinguish it from its predecessor, the G Flex.

Though the G Flex 2 has a new and improved processor and a better display, how will it hold up when compared with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4?

Design:
While both phones’ dimensions place them in the phablet category, the Note 4 is taller and wider than the LG phone. The G Flex 2 measures 5.87 x 2.96 x 0.37 inches and weighs 5.36 ounces, while the Note 4 measures 6.04 x 3.09 x 0.33 inches and weighs 6.21 ounces.

The LG handset has a curved shape that straightens out when pressed, but it springs back into shape as soon as pressure is released. It also has a self-healing coat that promises to vanish scratches and scuffs in 10 seconds. Meanwhile, the Note 4 has a more premium build than its predecessors, with its metal frame and beveled silver edges.

Features:
The G Flex 2 has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and pixel density of 401 ppi—impressive, but not enough to beat the Samsung phone’s 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display which has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and pixel density of 515ppi.

The Samsung phone is powered by an octa core Exynos Octa 7 processor, while the LG handset has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa core chip set. Both phones run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Both phones come with 32GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card.

As for the cameras, the Note 4 wins again as it has a 16MP rear camera and 3.7MP front facing shooter, while the G Flex 2 has a 13MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera.

Price:
Off contract, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 costs $845, while the LG G Flex 2 is predicted to cost $650 once it goes on sale.

Christian Post Report – The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and OnePlus One are two of the most unique phones that came out in 2014. The OnePlus One piqued the interest of tech fans when it was announced that getting hold of the device isn’t going to be easy, as they had an invitation-to-buy policy to get a unit. Moreover, the device comes with premium specs at a low price. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note Edge made waves last year as it has a touchscreen that wraps around one edge of the display.

Here, we compare the two devices:

Design:
The Galaxy Note Edge has a leather-like coating at the back of the phone. It measures 5.96 x 3.24 x 0.33 inches and weighs 6.1 ounces. The handset is available in black and white.

The OnePlus One has subtle curves at the edges and a chrome outer rim surrounding the display. The phone measures 6.02 x 2.99 x 0.35 inches and weighs 5.71 ounces and is available in black and white.

Features:
The Galaxy Note Edge’s wow factor is its display, which is made of one continuous piece of glass on top of the flexible AMOLED display beneath. Instead of having a straight right spine, the curve joins the back of the phone. The 5.6-inch display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and pixel density of 524ppi.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus One has a 5.5-inch IPS LCS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and pixel density of 401ppi.

The Samsung phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop, while the OnePlus One has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Galaxy Note Edge comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 64GB. The OnePlus One does not have a microSD card slot, but it comes with 64GB memory out of the box.

The Samsung phone has a 16MP rear camera and 3.7MP front facing shooter, while the OnePlus One has a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.

Price:
Off contract, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge costs $400, while the OnePlus One costs $299.

Sam Bradford has been traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, despite the rumors it looks like he will enter 2015 as the starter in the city of brotherly love.

Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Chip Kelly won an off-season power struggle in the Eagle front office and was given domain over personnel decisions. Since that time he has been very active making trades, releasing players, and acquiring new ones to replace those displaced. That trend continued this week as the Eagles traded away QB Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams for QB Sam Bradford. He followed up that move by signing former San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Matthews.

This was not a straight across trade for starting QBs, although both players look to be the starters on the new teams. The Rams will get a fourth round pick from Philly in the 2015 draft and a second round pick in the 2016 NFL draft. The Eagles will get the Rams fifth round pick in 2015.

There are also some reports that Philly has an insurance clause in the deal and hat if Bradford doesn’t start at least 8 games the Eagle will get an additional fourth round pick. If Bradford, coming off back-to-back season ending knee injuries, is injured, that pick becomes a third rounder. That is a hefty investment in Bradford and should quash some of the rumors of the Eagles acquiring Bradford to package him for another veteran QB or the draft pick need to take Marcus Mariota in the coming NFL draft.

Mark Sessler of NFL.com put in this way: “It’s an especially bold move by the Eagles coach, who will now pivot his star-stripped offense around a signal-caller who has yet to live up to his lofty draft pedigree. Injuries have limited Bradford to just seven starts over the past two seasons.”

“Deeper questions, though, hover around the quarterback’s larger body of work, with Bradford failing to grow into anything resembling a top passer over the past five seasons,” he said.

Less than a year after resigning TE Jimmy Graham to a huge contract, the New Orleans Saints have traded him to Seattle Seahawks

In a flurry of trades on the first day of the new league year in the NFL none were more surprising than the New Orleans Saints deciding to deal away tight end Jimmy Graham. It was not even a year ago that the Saints signed their star TE to a four-year $40 million dollar contract and is due a $5 million dollar bonus on March 15th. It seems odd the Saints would make that kind of investment in a quality player to trade him away less than a year later.

Of course what they got in return could be a key factor here. The Saints get from the Seattle Seahawks Center Max Unger and a 2015 first round draft pick. Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Saints are sending a fourth round 2015 pick along with Graham to Seattle.

ESPN said this about Graham: “Graham, 28, is regarded as one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the NFL, a player who often lines up as a wide receiver. He has 4,752 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns since entering the NFL as a third-round pick in 2010. In his five seasons with the Saints, Graham had more receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns than any other tight end in team history.”

For Seattle, they get the TE weapon that their offense desperately needs. They add another weapon for Russell Wilson to use, but the contract may eventually make it harder for the team to work out a new deal with their star QB.

The Saints get a valuable asset on their offensive line and now may have enough picks to make a move up to draft a young QB. There are some rumors that they may trade QB Drew Brees, which would leave them without a suitable signal caller unless they package their two first round picks to move up and select a new franchise QB.

Christian Post Report – Things are getting seismic in this week’s showing of the hit medical TV drama series “Grey’s Anatomy” as it continues towards its 11th season.

Titled “I Feel the Earth Move,” spoiler reports indicated that fans will watch the Grey medical staff doing what they do best while managing to stay in focus as an earthquake hits the area.

A synopsis for tonight’s segment was posted on The Futon Critic and it says that Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be shaken by a strong earthquake. As the onslaught of frightening seismic waves hit the medical establishment, Maggie (Kelly McCreary) will be trapped in an elevator which would threaten Meredith’s (Elllen Pompeo) long streak of successful surgeries.

It isn’t clear if Maggie will be trapped with a patient in need of urgent medical attention or that the delay will hinder her from arriving at the Operating Room in time. Regardless of the situation, viewers might already know how determine Meredith is when it comes to maintaining her integrity as a medical professional.

The rest of Seattle will also be afflicted by the destructive natural calamity, sending them into panic. The official promo trailer teases a distraught 11-year-old boy calling the hospital for help when he found his mother lying unconscious.

Unable to arrive on site, Owen (Kevin McKidd) gave the kid over the phone a crash course on how to save his mother as well as his own life.

The rest of the synopsis also pointed out the issue between Ben (Jason George) and Jackson (Jesse Williams). How will Jackson react when Ben confides him about something?

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11 airs this Thursday, Mar. 12 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Christian Post Report – Set with just the right blend of suspense, intrigue and drama, fans have been looking forward for this week’s airing of the hit ABC TV series “Scandal” Season 4 with episode titled “The Testimony of Diego Munoz.”

After the rather moving episode from last week featuring the death of a black teenager from the hands of a white police officer, tonight’s segment will tackle on an information delivered by a “surprise visitor.”

An official synopsis was posted on The Futon Critic and it points out that a surprise visitor will catch David Rosen (Joshua Malina) quite off guard.

This mysterious visitor claims to have “insider information” about the B613 which could have the potential to bring down the White House as well as destroy Olivia’s (Kerry Washington) Pope & Associates.

From the looks of it, something from the gladiators’ past will be coming back to haunt them. What exactly is this information that this visitor holds against Pope and the U.S.? And what connection does this person has with the characters?

In related “Scandal” news, avid followers of the show were caught surprised when the grieving Mellie Grant announced that she is now setting her eyes to take over the Presidential seat.

Speaking with TV Guide (via Ecumenical News), actress Bellamy Young admits she was quite surprised with the development of her storyline.

“I never could’ve imagined when the season started that we would go down this path,” Young informed the publication. “That’s the glory of Shonda [Rhimes] and our wonderful writers. But I think we needed her [grieving]. It was honest in a way she’s never been. She usually put protocol above everything. I think that was a real breakthrough moment for her.”

“She was just honest. I think that allowed her to go on the balcony and tell Fitz [Tony Goldwyn], ‘I wanna be president of the United States. I wanna run the world.’ That sort of honesty couldn’t have happened without being forged in that horrible pain and fire,” the actress continued.

“Scandal” Season 4 airs this Thursday, March 12 with “The Testimony of Diego Munoz” at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Christian Post Report – Poised to offer more doses of intrigue, sword action and drama, History Channel’s hit historical TV series “Vikings” will air this week with yet another exciting episode on its brand new Season 3.

Entitled “Scarred,” tonight’s segment will voice out the questions that fans have all been wondering about: What is exactly is Ragnar’s (Travis Fimmel) plan when he struck an alliance with the Christians?

Perhaps the fitting person to do this is the eccentric yet dangerously cunning Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard). Kattegat’s renowned boat builder and the King’s close friend was furious with the alliance made between the Vikings and King Ecbert (Linus Roache) which, as followers of the show remembered, killed many of his countrymen.

Floki was also angered when he found out Athestan’s (George Blagden) role in Ragnar’s affinity with the Anglo-Saxons.

This issue will further be discussed in “Scarred” as the recently released sneak peek featured Rollo (Clive Standen) confronting his King brother about his decisions to forge allegiance with the English.

“Floki says you have betrayed our gods to serve a Christian king and a Christian god,” Rollo said.

“Unlike Floki,” the wise leader calmly replied. “I do not think I speak for the gods. All I know is my desires and ambitions for my people. It never changed.”

Rollo listened intently to the Kattegat leader as he continued: “Now that I am a king, I must strive to bring them about.”

“Floki threatens me with Odin. But I will not be ashamed to meet the god, face to face,” Ragnar declared.

Christian Post Report – Kelly Osbourne opened up for the first time since her controversial exit from E!’s fashion talk show series “Fashion Police” on Monday.

Appearing and co-hosting for her mother Sharon Osbourne’s show “The Talk,” the singer speaks about her experience being with the celebrity fashion dissection series and her plans for her future.

“You know what, it was the five best working years of my life. I am so grateful for the experience – working with Joan Rivers for five years was incredible. I learned so much and I’m excited for my future. I want to try new things,” the 30-year-old daughter of Ozzy Osbourne told SMN Weekly.

The TV personality meanwhile admits getting devastated with the untimely death of show’s co-host and comedian Joan Rivers. Despite the grieving, Osbourne continues to liven up the show but in an unexpected incident, things changed.

Co-panelist Giuliana Rancic blurted out what seems to be an unpleasant comment over Zendaya Coleman’s hairstyle worn at the Oscars saying that the dreadlocks “probably smelled of weed and patchouli oil.”

The offhanded remark sparked an aggressive response from the Disney actress, who went to her social media to voice her reactions.

Right after the segment, Osbourne posted on her Twitter account to voice out her take on the issue.

“I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS IM SERIOUSLY QUESTIONING STAYING ON THE SHOW!” her tweet read.

Things were eventually settled between Rancic and Coleman when the former offer her apologies.

Despite silence from the producers, rumors circulating indicated that Osbourne’s seat might be filled by other popular personalities including Khloe Kardashian, Naya Rivera of “Glee,” Amber Rose or “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes.

Christian Post Report – Amidst the deafening buzz of Disney’s upcoming films like “Avengers” and “Star Wars: Episode VII,” moviegoers should also be in the lookout for the studio’s other exciting fantasy franchise, “TRON.”

The House of Mouse is now mobilizing the project to bring out the third installment of the hit science fiction film series. Temporarily titled “Tron 3,” Vancity Buzz announced that production for the “Tron: Legacy” sequel is slated to commence this fall in Vancouver, Canada.

Principal photography for the film, which stars Jeff Bridges, will start on October 5, 2015. Casting details confirmed actor Garrett Hedlund’s reprisal of his role as Sam Flynn.

Sam, in Tron 2, is the son of Bridges’ Kevin Flynn who was beamed into the ENCOM mainframe and was stuck inside the digital world for nearly two decades.

Hedlund was joined by actress Olivia Wilde who portrayed the Grid warrior character and confidante to its creator, Quorra. Right now, it is still undclear if Bridges, Wilde, or Boxleitner will be returning for the third series.

ScreenRant pointed out the high possibility for the band Daft Punk to once again lend their musical talents to the franchise after their successful involvement in “Tron: Legacy.” Director Joseph Kosinski said that “TRON 3” will be the “Empire Strikes Back” of the series, which suggests that fans should “expect a darker, less happy ending” sequel.

Christian Post Report – Harry Styles might have had his heart broken following his split with reported girlfriend Nadine Leopold, but one person is allegedly “happy” with the breakup.

Ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift is “happy about” the Harry-Nadine split, a source told Hollywood Life. The gossip website claimed to have exclusively learned that the “Blank Space” singer would “jump at the chance” to date Styles again.

“Taylor is secretly so happy that they broke up. She still has feelings for Harry and the fact that Nadine broke up with him kind of gives her pleasure. Now he knows how it feels. She never thought Harry and Nadine were right for each other anyway,” the insider said.

There is also another reason for Swift to be happy about the news.

“Taylor is also happy that Harry now knows what it feels like to have his heart broken. Perhaps she now thinks Harry will feel bad for breaking her heart in early 2013,” the source continued.

For the part of the “What Makes You Beautiful” hit maker, Enstarz wrote that the alleged breakup could affect Styles in a major way.

“Harry is gutted. He’s never been dumped before, so it’s a real punch in the stomach for him. Even though they can’t spend much time together Harry was speaking to her a lot and making plans to fly her over to spend the summer with him,” they reported.
