Christian Post Report – Recent “Attack on Titan” news indicated that entertainment giant Sony Pictures might be up for something for the hit animation property.

Although the details aren’t quite definitive, GameNGuide wrote in their article that “it looks as though they may be planning an Attack on Titan movie for the future” as what these eight web domains have suggested.

Anime News Network reported the domain names, which include variations of the mentioned title:

The publication went on to explain that just like “Ghost in the Shell,” Sony “may be looking to expand their network into adapting anime for the big screen” and these websites are just the few of the tell-tale signs.

Currently, all eight URLS would redirect to Sony Picture’s main website.

Debuting in 2009, the hit post-apocalyptic animation fantasy tells the story of a world plagued with remorseless, man-eating giants (called Titans), who have almost wiped off entire humanity if not for the huge walls which the remaining people were able to build.

The story centers on characters Eren Yeager who, with adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman and childhood friend Armin Alert, joined a military force specializing in killing the Titans.

The franchise was originally based in the manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. It was later adapted to a television anime series by Wit Studio and Production I.G and was aired in Japan in 2013.

A live-action adaptation, consisting of two films, is set to premiere in Japanese theaters this summer.

Jason Nelson Celebrates 10 Straight Weeks at No. 1

Christian Post Report – Jason Nelson has cause for celebration after his hit gospel single “I Am” has managed to hold the number one spot on the Mediabase Gospel Airplay Chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

Nelson, 40, is the pastor at The Tabernacle at Greater Bethlehem Temple in a thriving ministry in Randallstown, Maryland. Still, the preacher has found time to step out of the pulpit and release albums including I Shall Live in 2005, Place Of Worship in 2008 and Shifting the Atmosphere in 2012.

His latest album Jesus Revealed, was released last January, and features the hit single “I Am.” Now that the pastor and musician has witnessed the continued success of his single, he is in amazement.

“I’m amazed that ‘I AM’ is still the #1 song in the country! This speaks to people’s desire to see the hand of the Lord work and our willingness to step back and let HIM work,” Nelson said in a statement obtained by The Christian Post. “I am honored and humbled.”

He went on to Facebook to express more excitement and praise God for the accomplishment.

“So excited about the success of “I Am”! I’m amazed!! #GODisGood,” Nelson wrote.

Nelson previously spoke to The Christian Post about “I Am” being his first number one hit on Mediabase’s Gospel Chart. Although Nelson has been recognized for his work with a Stellar Award for Praise and Worship CD of the Year in 2013, his recent number one hit brings a sense of validation to all of his hard work throughout the years.

“When I got the word I really just didn’t know what to say. It is a validation of the work and the energy that we’ve extended to get our music out and make our music heard and be allowed to stand in a place that’s rare,” Nelson told CP last January. “It’s very, very humbling and it gives you a little more of a push to grind and keep producing music that impacts more than just me. It’s music that impacts the world, has the ability to change hearts, to create some type of spiritual encounter.”

Fred Hammond is speaking out after his Facebook page got disabled for reasons he believes had to do with the expression of his Christian faith.

Hammond, 54, released his “I Will Trust” album late last year, and has earned numerous Stellar, Dove, and Grammy Awards, for multiple bodies of work in the gospel music industry over the past 30 years. However, when the singer shared some of his lyrics expressing his faith on Facebook recently, he let over 377,000 Twitter followers know that the social media account had been disabled.

Hammond shared a screenshot of the message he received from Facebook telling him that the account was taken down. The singer said he believed his page being taken down had to do with him expressing his faith.

“Interesting event. I posted lyrics to my song I believe on expressing my faith on my fb page and got shut down,” Hammond wrote. “If it means I get cut off of social media BC I express my faith… So be it!”

The singer later made it clear that his Facebook page had been restored after the social media website looked into the matter.

“Well Family fb sent me a message that after there investigation they’ve restored my page,” he wrote.

Matt Steinfeld, Privacy Communications Manager at Facebook, confirmed that Hammond’s page had been restored and made it clear that people were free to share their faith on the popular social media website.

“There is nothing in our policies that prevents someone from sharing his or her faith,” Steinfeld told The Christian Post.

Hammond previously spoke with The Christian Post about the importance of living his calling to spread the word of God through song.

“I really believe it’s a calling and that’s not just something to say that sounds great. I believe I was born for this, to tell people about the Lord,” Hammond told CP. “I just wanted to find the best way that I could do it and music, God graced me to be able to do it and that was the way that I chose to be effective and tell people that the Lord loves them. It’s something inside of me that’s more than a contract that I have, which I’m grateful for.”

In their first meeting at Parc des Princes, both squads settled for a 1-1 draw.

The match was a very competitive one, with possession being shared between the two teams as PSG held the ball 55 percent of the time, while Chelsea had it for 45 percent.

Playing at home, PSG were able to force more shots, with a total of 12 with half of them being on target as compared to Chelsea’s only two total attempts on goal.

However, the Blues were able to draw first blood as Branislav Ivanovic scored the match opener in the 36th minute.

John Terry played a perfectly weighted cross towards the middle of the box, with Gary Cahill lifting the ball with a back-heel before Ivanovic headed the ball past goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu for the lead.

Chelsea held the lead until half-time but PSG found a way to level the score in the 54th.

Blaise Matuidi played the ball perfectly from the side, enough to spot the open Edinson Cavani who headed the ball towards the ground before bouncing in to beat Thibaut Courtois.

This result sets up a very intriguing match in London, where both teams have a chance to move on in Europe’s elite competition.

Both squads have been in very impressive streaks, as Chelsea have gone unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions. They currently hold a five-point lead atop the English Premier League and are seeking for their fifth league title and second European triumph.

As for PSG, they have slowly become a force in World football and have also been unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions. In Ligue 1, they are second in the table but only one point behind current leaders Olympique Lyonnais.

‘Frozen 2’ News, Update: Directors Admit Being Clueless on Follow-Up Film

Christian Post Report – Becoming Walt Disney Pictures’ highest grossing animated film ever made is just one of the reasons why the 2013 hit movie “Frozen” can be considered a gigantic success for the studio.

And like the old adage says, “strike while the iron is hot,” talks of a Frozen big screen sequel have been circulating on and off around the Web. Unfortunately, two people behind the beloved full-length feature admit they have no idea on what to do for a follow-up.

Co-writers and co-directors Jennifer Lee and Christopher Buck informed the publication that they haven’t even found the story to tell for “Frozen 2.”

“It’s been in the press that we are doing [Frozen 2], and we would ask each other, ‘Are we?’ They’d have a date and they’d have a cast and it was like, OK,” Buck said.

“It all comes down to the story … Until we find our way into what’s next, emotionally, it will feel too big. We just finished the short two weeks ago. One year ago, it was a lot to even think about doing a short. We were quite tired. We don’t really know what it’s like to stop for a minute and think about what we want to do next,” Lee joined in.

While the two may have already thrown in the towel, this doesn’t necessarily mean, according to SR, that the Mouse House will also give up on such a huge potential property. It would certainly be too easy for the studio to let someone else take the challenge.

The duo said they aren’t sure how to follow-up the huge success of “Frozen.”

“It was the scary thing of, ‘How do you follow Frozen up?’ We were scared. I don’t think we even began to understand what people liked about the movie… I don’t think you can ever quite get your head around it. And just when you think you’re starting to figure out why, you realize you have no idea,” Lee said.

“Frozen” is currently being adapted to a short film titled “Frozen Fever” and a stage musical based on the movie’s characters and story.

All-Male ‘Ghostbusters’ Movie News, Details: Beloved Comic Fantasy Franchise to Expand its Cinematic Universe

Christian Post Report – While the world is eagerly waiting for the new all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot to hit the big screen, new developments indicated that Sony Pictures has plans to expand the beloved franchise’s cinematic universe. The move which could potentially feature the likes of Channing Tatum as one of its lead cast and the Russo brothers as directors.

The Hollywood Reporter said that Sony’s entertainment division “has put together Ghost Corps.” This collective will be spearheaded by original “Ghostbusters” helmer Ivan Reitman with the assistance of franchise mainstay Dan Aykroyd.

As indicated, the two “will oversee the expansion of the movie franchise not just into a cinematic universe but also move Ghostbusters into television and merchandising.”

First thing’s first: the project will develop a “male-oriented Ghostbusters” which will follow after the release of the highly anticipated movie reboot by “Bridesmaid” director Paul Feig that is slated to begin production this summer in time for a July 22, 2016 opening.

To be produced and starred by “Haywire” actor Channing Tatum, the script for the all-male “Ghostbusters” will be written by Iron Man 3’s Drew Pearce. The directorship deal is also reportedly signed by Joe and Anthony Russo of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

Reitman meanwhile suggested that he and his production company, the Montecito Picture Co., are more than enthused for the project.

“My primary focus will be to build the Ghostbusters into the universe it always promised it might become,” Reitman told Deadline. “The original film is beloved, as is the cast, and we hope to create films we will continue to love.”

Flight MH370 News, Update: Washed Up Towellete Could Help Solve Missing Flight Mystery

Christian Post Report – Recent Malaysian flight MH370 news indicated that search and rescue experts are currently examining a Malaysian Airlines-branded amenity which was found washed up along the beach in Western Australia.

Daily Mail indicated that a “small pre-moistened paper towel” that bears the flight company’s logo has been sent to Canberra for “testing and verification,” a move that will hopefully solve the mystery involving the missing airplane.

The item, which was first spotted by a couple walking along the mentioned beach in Cervantes, was found in July last year.

Kingsley and Vicki Miller discovering an unopened packet located 200 kilometers north of Perth, Australia.

“If it had of been opened and found lying there it would have been completely different,” Mr Miller told Nine News, implying the importance of the find.

Although experts believed this “small package” can offer clues to the puzzle, some seems to suggest that this could just be any in-flight amenity item discarded from any of the Malaysian Airlines passenger aircrafts.

“It is unlikely, however, that such a common item with no unique identifier could be conclusively linked with MH370,” the Sydney Morning Herald said in a report.

Carrying 227 passengers and 12 in-flight crew members, the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 Flight MH370 took off from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in March 8 of last year.

The plane, which was bound for Beijing, was last detected on military radar at around 2 a.m. of the same day while traversing the Strait of Malacca.

Several theories from multiple search operations seemed to confirm that the remains of the said commercial flight could be found in the Indian Ocean.

Sony Android Lollipop Update News: Only Xperia Z Series Phones Getting Latest Software

Christian Post Report – A piece of disappointing news for some Sony smartphone users: Sony recently announced, despite earlier pronouncements, that the company is only providing Lollipop updates to its high-end line of smartphones, the Xperia Z series. This leaves no update for non-Xperia owners, such as those who have the T2 Ultra, T3, M2 Aqua, M2, E1, E3, and C3 smartphones.

Earlier in the year, speculations were abound as to when Sony will release the Lollipop updates to its smartphones, so this piece of news comes as a surprise to most. Sony has not given any reason why it is restricting the updates to the Z series only.

After it made the announcement, Sony received various complaints and criticisms from customers through various social network platforms, according to a report in Android Community. Sony’s only response through its social media team was that they “can’t comment on upgrades for further products at this time.”

Sony has started making the rounds about when the update will be rolled out and how Z series owners can access the update. According to another Android Community report, Sony Mobile Indonesia shared on Facebook that the update will released on week 12 of the year, or March 16 to be exact.

To get the Lollipop update, users need to go to Update Center to access it. The update is said to bring “improved performance, better battery life, new features and new apps.” Sony Indonesia also announced that moving apps to the SD card will be possible with the update.

As mentioned in Lollipop update reports, the update will bring a new “material design” user interface, enable multi-user support, and improved screen lock.

Sony India for its part shared a software update schedule as well, indicating that Sony has in fact finished updates for the Xperia Z2 and Z3, although release dates were not shared.

North America (US and Canada), Australia and the UK will like receive their updates through their carriers anytime soon.

Sony Xperia Z3 owners should have at least 640MB of free space on their phones, while Xperia Z2 owners need at least 530MB free space.

Gospel Singer Tina Campbell Shoots Up Husband’s Car Amidst Affair (VIDEO)

Tina Campbell of the gospel duo Mary Mary continues to struggle with her husband’s admitted infidelities on season four of her reality television series “Mary Mary,” even resorting to fits of anger resulting in gunfire.

Campbell, who stars on the WE tv reality series with her sister Erica Campbell, has been very open about her marital problems with husband Terry Campbell, who recently admitted to several extra-marital affairs. A new teaser clip for the reality series reveal the extent of the gospel singer’s emotional outbursts over the betrayal: the destruction of her husband’s car with a gun. In the new trailer for season four of “Mary Mary,” Terry Campbell’s vintage convertible is unveiled, revealing extensive damage due to bullets.

“We had some days that were really bad, and the car is a clear indication of a very bad day,” Terry Campbell explains in the trailer. “It was my car and she thought I could have been riding around town with another woman in the car, which wasn’t the case. My wife, in her pain, wanted to hurt me.”

The trailer also features Tina Campbell’s rage, including shouting and tears as the singer and her husband attempt to work through the betrayal. Toward the end of the one-minute trailer, Terry motions to the car as a gesture to Tina that their marriage can survive the recent turmoil.

“I want you to be happy, I don’t want you to have any bad memories, I only want to create new ones,” Terry tells his wife as the car is towed away from their Los Angeles home.

“Thank God we’re in a better place; our good days definitely outweigh our bad ones, by far,” Terry notes at the end of the clip. “We’re still working hard. I want Tina to know that I’m gonna fight for her and my family.”

While the trailer does not feature the moment Tina took a gun to the car, VladTV confirmed the true story of the gospel singer riddling the vehicle with bullets. Fortunately, no one was in the car at the time of the incident.

Over the past three seasons, WE tv’s popular series has featured sisters Erica and Tina’s faith undergo the ultimate tests as their world was turned upside down with Terry’s affairs and the death of a family member. Season four, which kicked off last week, follows Erica’s solo career outside of Mary Mary as well as Tina and Terry’s continued road to marital recovery.
