MFM Daily Devotional 12 March 2019 – Fulfilling God’s Condition for Blessing (I)

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 12 March 2019 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Fulfilling God’s Condition for Blessing (I)

TOPIC: Fulfilling God’s Condition for Blessing (I) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 12 March 2019)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 16-18; Mark 13:1-20

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Genesis 12:1-3

MEMORY VERSE: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20

The MESSAGE:

Note the word “Now” before you continue. It connotes something that happened at a stage or point in Abraham’s life. Also, there were three-fold places the Lord commanded Abram to leave in order to be in the right place and he obeyed willingly.

This is the same thing God wants from you and me if we must succeed in life. The three-fold places Abram departed from represented the obstacles, sin and the wickedness, within and without, that would have limited him. Whatever and wherever the Lord is asking you to leave, leave it now. Leave that place of sin, that ungodly relationship, life of fornication, hypocrisy, backsliding, drinking and so on. God desires complete surrender of the spirit, body and soul of His children. He cannot order you around as He desires if He cannot first possess you to Himself.

What should you surrender?

  1. Your body: Eyes, nose, ears, legs, hands, mouth, every part of your body. Use your body to do only things that pleases God. Most importantly, your sexual organ. Misuse of it can put you in eternal bondage. A lot of the so-called Christians are yet to yield this part of their bodies totally to God (Colossians 3:1-9).
  2. Spirit and Soul: Do not depend on your strength or wisdom. Put on the new man (Colossians 3:10-17). Live in subjection to the Holy Spirit. Show forth the fruit of the Spirit. Be loving, full of hospitality, forgiving, etc. (Galatians 5:22; Colossians 1:10).

The benefits of surrendering to God and living and all-round godly life will attract the presence of God, His mercy, blessing and grace to your life. You will discover His purpose for your life. You will fulfil your destiny as you walk in total trust and obedience. You will not make careless and destiny-truncating mistakes. You will be the light and salt of the world and also a terror to the kingdom of darkness and so on.

At this stage of life, God is asking you to surrender your life to Him. Now is the right time to give it all to God as tomorrow might be too late.

Today, make the right choice. The Lord is offering to own you, lead, help, use and in return bless you with life in abundance. What is it that is stopping Him from blessing you? Fornication, stealing, gossip, hate, secret sin, name it. Or have you been swimming in perpetual backsliding or never tasted Jesus before? Now is the right time to let Him in, to dine with you.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
GOD IS AWESOME. HE GIVES CONDITIONS FOR BLESSINGS AND PROVIDES THE GRACE TO MEET THE CONDITIONS.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Receive supernatural grace and strength to walk diligently before the Lord.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. O Lord, teach me to obediently walk with You, in the name of Jesus.
  2. O Lord, come in Your fullness and dwell in my life, in the name of Jesus.
  3. I come out of every place the Lord hates today, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. My Father, I surrender my whole being to You today, receive me, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Holy Spirit, overshadow my life, in the name of Jesus.
  6. Every agenda of the enemy to truncate my life, be nullified, in the name of Jesus.
  7. My life is covered with the precious blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

Seeds of Destiny 12 March 2019 Devotional – The Profits of Prayer

Topic: The Profits of Prayer [Seeds of Destiny 12 March 2019 Devotional]

Every spiritual endeavour is accompanied with products or profits. The profits (or importance) of prayer cannot be quantified in the life of a Christian. The profits of prayer outlive a person’s life to his/her future generation.

SCRIPTURE: Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Prayer fertilizes spiritual sensitivity.

Every spiritual endeavour is accompanied with products or profits. The profits (or importance) of prayer cannot be quantified in the life of a Christian. The profits of prayer outlive a person’s life to his/her future generation.

Yesterday, we saw two products or profits of prayer; we saw that the altar of prayer is the altar of transformation and consecration.

Today, we shall look at two more profits of Prayer:

i. The altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment

It is not possible for a person to be prayerful and be powerless. The altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment and manifestation. When Jesus Christ was baptised, as He was praying, the heavens opened and the Holy Ghost descended on Him (Luke 3:21-22). So, the altar of prayer is the altar of empowerment.

ii. The altar of prayer is the altar of revelation

In Jeremiah 33:3, the Bible says, Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. At the place of prayer, your spiritual eyes are opened; your spiritual understanding is opened when you devote yourself to prayer. Prayer fertilizes spiritual sensitivity. The altar of prayer is the altar of revelation. Let me give an example: It was at the altar of prayer that I got the details of the revelation of both our Ministry and marriage. Many things are revealed at the altar of prayer; many things happen at the altar of prayer.

Beloved, make up your mind to access open heavens and the revelations of God by devoting yourself to prayer continually.

Remember this: Prayer fertilizes spiritual sensitivity.

DCLM Daily Manna 12 March 2019 – The Lord’s Goodness

Topic: The Lord’s Goodness [DCLM Daily Manna 12 March 2019 Daily Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Psalm 18:1-19 (KJV)

Key Verse: “He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me” (Psalm 18:19).

MESSAGE:

A soft drinks company decided to give out crates of their products on one festive occasion to families in a particular beach, as a promotional strategy and also to measure the level of people’s gratitude. While some housewives received the gifts barely saying “thanks”, a particular woman was overwhelmed and grateful. Knowing that this woman was not poor, the curious company staff wanted to know why she was so grateful. “Oh”, she said, “I appreciate anything anyone gives me, from a smile to a cup of water, because it takes love to give somebody something”.

In this psalm the author declares his love, loyalty and trust in God. He went on to give an account of God’s deliverances for him and the display of His anger and power against those that rose up against him. He recounted God’s response to his distress calls.

David’s travails started soon after he killed Goliath and the women of Israel sang in recognition of that heroic feat. All through his life, he had one problem or the other to contend with. Yet, he was a man after God’s own heart because through it all, he learned to honour and praise God. He also sought after God’s will before taking major decisions of his life.

David proved beyond all doubts that someone can actually live a life of praise and thanksgiving irrespective of life’s challenges and afflictions. God wants His children to always live a life of thanksgiving and gratitude for His abundant goodness unto them. Learn to be grateful to God for the salvation of your soul, His keeping power, grace to live above sin, the Bible and the deep revelations of God therein and above all, for the hope of heaven. Arise today and rend the heavens with loud proclamations of the wonders and the glory of the Most High God.

Thought For The Day: Praise is glorious, an odour of sweet scent.

Look Unto God – Open Heavens for Teens 12 March 2019

Topic: Look Unto God [Open Heavens for Teens 12 March 2019]

Memorise: “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” – John 15:5

Read: Hebrews 12:2

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Bible In One Year: Deuteronomy 17-19, Mark 14:1-25

MESSAGE:

As teenagers, there are many things lined up for you to do; you are required to do exceptionally well in school, you are required to do house chores, to behave respectfully to elders and to act responsibly at all times. All these are aides planning your future and working towards having a successful life.

Life is a serious journey, and it is only those who know God’s plan and follow through such plans that will make it. Nothing happens by chance, you can only reap what you sow; making the right decisions and taking practical steps to achieve them will give you the future that you desire.

However, there is something more important than any of those things listed above. John 15:5 clearly states that without God, you can do nothing. For all your plans and efforts to produce the desired results, you have to recognize God as your source of success, without whom you are totally useless.

Prayer Point:Father, I proclaim that you are my source. Please help me to always look to you for all my plans in Jesus’ name.

As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
    Pure, warm and changeless be,
    A living fire!
  3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
    And griefs around me spread,

As Your Soul Prospers – Kenneth Copeland devotional 12 March 2019

Topic: As Your Soul Prospers [Kenneth Copeland Devotional 12 March 2019]

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. – 3 John 2

Once you begin to believe it is God’s will to prosper you, you can’t help but wonder how He is going to do it. Is He going to put a check in the mail? Or start floating $20 bills down from the trees?

No. He’s going to do it by prospering your soul. He’s going to plant the seeds of prosperity in your mind, will and emotions, and as they grow, they’ll produce a great financial harvest.

Go to the book of Genesis and read the story of Joseph. It’s a perfect demonstration of what I’m talking about.

When Joseph was sold as a slave to the Egyptians, he didn’t have a dime to his name. He didn’t even have his freedom. He’d been sold as a slave. But, right in the middle of his slavery, God gave Joseph such wisdom and ability that he made his owner prosper. As a result, the man put Joseph in charge of all his possessions.

Later, Joseph was put in prison. There’s really not much opportunity for advancement in prison, is there? But God gave him insight that no other man in Egypt had. That insight landed him a position on Pharaoh’s staff. Not as a slave but as the most honored man in the entire country next to Pharaoh himself.

He rode along in a chariot and people literally bowed down before him. During a worldwide famine, Joseph was in charge of all the food. Now that’s prosperity!

How did God accomplish all that? By prospering Joseph’s soul. No matter how dismal his situation became, no matter how impossible his problems, God was able to reveal the spiritual secrets that would open the door of success for him.

That’s what makes God’s method of prospering so exciting. It works anywhere and everywhere. It will work in the poorest countries on the face of this earth just like it works here in the United States. And you can be sure that it will work for you!

God Answers Every Prayer – Andrew Wommack Devotional 12 March 2019

Topic: God Answers Every Prayer [Andrew Wommack Devotional 12 March 2019]

Matthew 7:7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

Text: Matthew 7:6-8

Prayer which meets the requirements outlined in God’s Word is always answered. Many times we don’t perceive the answer because it always comes in the spiritual realm first before it is manifested in the physical realm. If we waver from our confident faith, then we abort the manifestation of that answer (Jas. 1:6-7; Heb. 10:35). But God did answer. Everyone who asks receives.

In the book of Daniel chapter 9, Daniel prayed a prayer and waited a relatively short period of time to see his answer to prayer. In less than three minutes the angel Gabriel appeared and answered all of his questions.

This same man prayed another prayer in Daniel chapter 10, but this time it took three weeks before he had an angelic messenger come and answer his questions. What was the difference? Most people believe that God answered one prayer in three minutes and the next prayer in three weeks. But Daniel 10:12, says “from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand,…thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.” Satan had hindered the second prayer from reaching Daniel. God was not the variable. God answers every prayer.

This is confirmed in Matthew 7:8, which says that everyone who asks receives, he that seeks will find, to him that knocks it is opened. God answers, but Satan can hinder our prayers in the spiritual realm before they ever physically manifest. If we understand that God gives the answer and that Satan is the one hindering, the truths of these scriptures will encourage us. God does answer prayer.

God is always answering your prayer. If you haven’t seen it manifest, don’t doubt God, but recognize that you’re fighting an enemy, and persevere. Stand on your faith. Pray without ceasing until you see the answer.

Growing as a Christian – Billy Graham Devotional 12 March 2019

Topic: Growing as a Christian [Billy Graham Devotional 12 March 2019]

Dear brothers, I have been talking to you as though you were still just babies in the Christian life . . . —1 Corinthians 3:1 (TLB)

Some people have received Christ but have never reached spiritual maturity. They have been in church all their lives, and yet they have never become mature Christians. They are still considered “spiritual children” and “babes in Christ.” They know little Scripture. They have little desire to pray, and bear few of the marks of a Christian in their daily living. To say, “I will resolve to do better, I will muster all my will power and revise my way of living,” is noble, but futile. A corpse could as well say, “I will-through sheer effort-rise out of this coffin and be a living man again.” You need a power outside yourself. You cannot get over the habits and chains that are binding you. You need outside help. You need Christ.

The Bible tells of a bridge of faith which reaches from the valley of despair to the high hills of glorious hope in Christ. It tells where we are, but beyond that-it tells where we may be in Christ. Now, of course, you will not be completely mature until you are in the presence of Christ, but you should be growing every day as a Christian.

Prayer for the day: Lord, work through me this day, that I might be maturing as a Christian and come to know You better, that I might know Your perfect will for me.

Judge Barred from Director Role for Saying Children Do Best with a Father and Mother, Appeals Punishment

Judge Barred from Director Role for Saying Children Do Best with a Father and Mother, Appeals Punishment

A judge who was barred from a director role for saying that children do best with a father and mother can now appeal the ruling.

According to Christian Concern, Richard Page has appealed a previous decision that said he could not go back to his director role at a National Health Service trust because of his statement. His appeal has not been ruled upon yet.

In 2014, Page told two other magistrates in a closed-door session: “wherever possible, children do best with a mother and a father.”

Someone reported Page’s comments and after 15 years serving as a magistrate in Kent, he was barred from sitting as a magistrate until he received “equality training,” according to a report.

Later, he granted an interview to the BBC to explain his position, but in 2016, he was removed from the role.

“At the time, Richard, who has nearly 20 years’ experience as a finance director in the NHS, was serving a four-year term as a non-executive director of Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT). Just weeks after the decision to remove him from the magistracy, Richard was also suspended from his role at the trust,” Christian Concern said.

According to WND.com, the panel investigating Page received some 6,000 emails supporting him and only one complaint.

Open Heaven 12 March 2019 – Mountain Movers

Open Heaven 12 March 2019 Tuesday Daily Devotional By Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Mountain Movers

Topic: Mountain Movers (Open Heaven 12 March 2019)

Memorise: “5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?”- Psalm 114:5-6

Read: Matthew 17:14-20 (KJV)

14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Bible in One Year: Romans 14-16, Isaiah 60:19-61:11

Open Heaven 12 March 2019 Tuesday MESSAGE:

From our Lord’s message in today’s Bible text, we learn that mountain symbolizes the challenges of life. The good news is that Jesus also assures us in this teaching that we can be mountain movers, even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed. In the story captured in today’s reading, the demons of insanity constituted not only a nuisance to the life of a young man and his father, they were also a source of embarrassment to the disciples of Jesus Christ, as they refused to leave the boy after the disciples had commanded them to. Why were the disciples not able to cast these demons out? Jesus explained that it was because of their unbelief? This is food for thought for those of us who call ourselves men and women of faith. Before this event, the disciples might have felt that they had faith, but when their faith was put to test, they failed. One can safely assume that before the disciples embarked on trying to deliver the young man of these demons; they must have believed that God was able to use them to carry out this deed. In the same way, one would assume that before people leave their homes for a church programme, they must possess a level of faith to receive from God. However, experience has shown that such assumptions are not always valid. Many people are very religious but don’t have faith at all.

To be a mover of mountains, you must possess the right kind of faith. Beloved, what kind of faith do you have? Is it living or dead faith? it is not the size of faith that matters; what matters is whether the faith is alive or not. Before confronting a mountain, you need to check if you have the right kind of faith that can move mountains. An example of someone with mountain-moving faith is the Canaanite woman in Matthew 15:22-28. She came to Jesus so that her daughter could be delivered of the evil spirit that troubled her. In spite of all the discouraging obstacles thrown her way, she convinced herself that the only solution to her challenges lay with Jesus Christ, and so she would not let Him go. The result of her tenacity is clearly seen in Matthew 15:28, which says:

“Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.”

Some people seem to have alternatives to the miracle-working Jesus, and so, after they have tried Him once or twice and things seem not to be working, they go looking for a solution elsewhere. Mountain movers tarry long with the Master until their petition is granted. I join my faith with yours and decree that those intimidating mountains in your life are removed today in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 12 March 2019 Tuesday Prayer Point:

Father, please make the mountain of problems confronting me today to become a plain in Jesus’ Name.

Archbishop ‘overwhelmed’ after weekend mission in Liverpool

The bishops from the north of England descended on Liverpool over the last few days to help local churchgoers reach out into the community.

The Tell Serve Give events included comedy and jazz evenings as well as prison visits and beach clean ups.

Speaking about the success of the weekend, Dr John Sentamu said: “Every day I was going to six to seven events, one after another.

“It’s been quite amazing the response has been amazing and actually the people of the whole of Merseyside who make up the Diocese of Liverpool have been so generous and so welcoming.

“It has been extraordinary and I think this diocese won’t be the same because they’ve put in a lot of effort and a lot of energy to make Jesus known.”

Dr John Senatmu on a visit to a garden centre

The northern bishops have made this kind of mission an regular event. They’ll gather once more in the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham in September.
