Joyce Meyer Devotional 9 March 2019 — The Great “I Am”

Topic: The Great “I Am” [Joyce Meyer Devotional 9 March 2019]

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” — Exodus 3:14

This awesome scripture holds much more than you may realize at first glance. God is so great there is no way for us to describe Him properly. What was God really saying when He referred to Himself as I AM?

Moses asked a question about God’s identity, and evidently the Lord did not want to get into a long dissertation about who He was. It was as if God was saying:

“You don’t have to worry about Pharaoh or anybody else, I AM able to take care of anything you encounter. Whatever you need, I AM it. Either I have it or I can get it. If it doesn’t exist, I will create it. I have everything covered, not only now but for all time. Relax!”

Prayer Starter: Father, please open my eyes to Your greatness and Your ability to provide every single thing I need. When the cares of this world press in on me, help me to remember that You are the great “I AM” and nothing is impossible with You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Trump signs Bibles of tornado survivors in Alabama

Donald Trump went to Providence Baptist Church to pay respect to the 23 people who were killed by the storm in the rural Alabama town of Beauregard.

He observed a moment of silence before white wooden crosses which stood in remembrance of each victim .

The church was hosting a makeshift relief centre for survivors of Sunday’s twister which Trump and his wife Melania visited after looking out over the debris and destruction of the area.

“We saw things that you wouldn’t believe,” Mr Trump said after visiting a section of the town where tornado winds tore houses from their foundations and uprooted trees.

At Providence Baptist Church, Mr Trump thanked law enforcement officials and other first responders and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who oversees the FEMA.

“We couldn’t get here fast enough,” Mr Trump said following the private church meeting.

“I wanted to come the day it happened,” he said, adding that Governor Kay Ivey had asked him to wait.

Before leaving the church, Mr Trump posed for a photograph with a fifth-grader who has been…

The Power of Information by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

The Power of Information by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Topic: The Power of Information

One of the outstanding things you need to know to reach your place in destiny is information. One of the richest men in the world today is only trading information. He has better information than others in the field. All Bill Gates and most other successful people are trading is information; what they have, others don’t have and so they are wealthy.

The making of every man is a function of what he knows. That is why a wise man said that Knowledge is power! Even the word of God says:

‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….’ Hosea 4:6

Only those who know more become better and when you’re informed, you’re transformed. To be uninformed is to be deformed in life; make your choice!

Also Read: Commit To Your Assignment by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Information is so important and powerful that the amount or level and type of information you have can make or mar your destiny. Insufficient information about a thing is what has left many in the pool of the average and the type of information you have determines the kind of life you will live.

If in these days of high Information Technology, computers and the internet, someone who is not computer literate desires a secretary job in an organization, such a person will not get the job. The level of your information determining the level of your success!

Absalom planned a coup against his father King David. In repulsing the coup there was a civil war, and the King begged his officers to spare the life of the young man in battle. After the war, two men ran back to King with news about the outcome of the battle; one with sufficient information and the other without!

See 2 Samuel 18:19-32

The man with insufficient information even outran the one with sufficient information. Though he arrived first, his journey was not successful because he lost his life in the end.

Information is what makes lots of people fail in job interviews and someone who probably did not even apply for the job ends up getting the job because it is not everyone that went for the interview had the kind of information the interviewers were looking for.

Go For Information and as you do so, God will distinguish you in Jesus wonderful name, Amen!

TREM Devotional 9 March 2019 – Commit Yourself To Declaring The Word

Topic: Commit Yourself To Declaring The Word [TREM Devotional 9 March 2019]

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 KJV

In Genesis chapter 1, God gives us a perfect example of what our response should be when we are faced with challenging situations. Verse 2 says “the earth was without form and void”. There was darkness everywhere. But in verse 3, God declared His expectation. He said, “Let there be light”: and light manifested. As children of God, that should be our stand. We must commit ourselves to declaring the Word, and holding onto it without wavering until we see it manifest. Don’t you ever forget that He who promised is faithful. He will bring it to pass!

The adversary is not going to play dead and watch you succeed. He is going to come at you to test you and to see if you really know and believe the Word you are declaring. The Bible says that he walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But he will not see you! However, you must be vigilant and stay in the Word. The devil’s goal is to ensure that the seed of the Word planted in your heart does not take root and bear fruit. To counter his plan, you must steadfastly feed on the word.

God has a lot of great things in store for you and you shall partake of it all. You will not miss out on God’s Commanded Blessings. What you have received from the Lord is permanent. The enemy shall not pluck it out from your hands. You will enjoy all that Christ paid the ultimate price for you to enjoy.

This day, I commend you to God, and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. It shall be well with you. The Lord shall increase your greatness and comfort you on all sides.

Rhapsody of Realities 9 March 2019 – The Fire of Cleansing

Rhapsody of Realities 9 March 2019 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome – The Fire of Cleansing

Topic: “The Fire of Cleansing”

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire (Matthew 3:11).

Fire is very significant in Scripture. In some places, it was used to symbolize the Spirit of God and the character in which He operated or manifested Himself. When God revealed Himself to Moses, it was in the burning bush (Exodus 3:3-5). When the Holy Ghost came in Acts 2:1-4 as Jesus had promised His disciples, the Scriptures record that cloven tongues like as of fire appeared unto them and sat upon each of them, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost.

Then we read the words of John the Baptist in our opening verse above, where he talked about the baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. Now, many have confused John’s statement to mean that both the power of the Holy Ghost, and the fire of the Holy Ghost are synonymous, but they aren’t. When John the Baptist said Jesus shall baptize with the Holy Ghost, and with fire, that “fire” meant judgment.

The fire of the Holy Ghost is about cleansing; it’s called, “The fire of Judgment” or “The fire of cleansing.” The Bible says, “…he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire” (Matthew 3:12). That’s judgment! It’s the same thing we see in Malachi 3:2-3: “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”

Thus, Holy Ghost fire is the fire of purification; it takes away the unclean things from your life; it burns them up, that there be no impurities in you; that fire purifies you, removes everything that’s not of God. Thus, you’re sanctified for the Lord’s use; you’re His vessel unto honour, to bring Him glory, and establish His will in the earth. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m washed, sanctified, justified, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God! There’s no uncleanness in me, for the fire of the Holy Ghost purifies my heart from all filthiness. I’ve become the radiance of God’s glory, and the expression of His righteousness. Hallelujah!

Police admit London street preacher WAS driven out of area after changing statement

Oluwole Ilesanmi was preaching outside Southgate underground station when complaints were made and police came and confiscated his Bible, handcuffed him and took him away.

He was later de-arrested without charge.

A video of the arrest has been seen over 2.3 million times and his case was taken up by the campaign group Christian Concern.

Replying to Premier’s original inquiry about where Mr Ilesanmi was taken, the Metropolitan Police said he had been walked 200 metres out of the area before being shown to a nearby bus stop.

However Christian Concern argued he was taken 5.2 miles away to Wrotham Park.

The Met Police have now updated their statement, acknowledging that he was driven away from the area:

“Having walked away from Southgate tube station with officers, the man was driven approx. 3.5 miles to Hadley Wood in north London, where he was left at a bus stop.

“The arrest was made in order to prevent a breach of the peace, both due to reports to police about the man’s behaviour and concerns for his own welfare were he to continue to engage with members of the public…

Man jailed for church roof lead thefts across home counties

Petre Romeo Cazan, of Edmonton, north London, would target isolated churches at night, climbing up a drainpipe and throwing his haul to be loaded into a waiting vehicle.

The 42-year-old caused more than £186,000 of damage across seven churches between June and October in 2016, Cambridgeshire Police said.

He was arrested in November 2016.

Police found phone data, Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras and DNA from a cigarette end linked him to the crimes.

He denied the offences but was convicted at trial at Cambridge Crown Court of seven counts of theft and seven of criminal damage, the force said.

Cazan was jailed on Friday.

He had targeted: All Saints Church in Marsworth, Hertfordshire; All Saints Church in East Meon, Hampshire; All Saints Church in Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire; St Laurence Church in Foxton, Cambridgeshire; St Michael’s Church in Aston Clinton, Buckinghamshire; Holy Trinity Church in Meldreth, Royston, Hertfordshire; and St John the BaptistChurch in Cottered, Hertfordshire.

Detective Constable Tom Nuttall, of Cambridgeshire Police, said: “This type of crime is not victimless and we treat it extremely seriously due to the devastation it can have on churches and the local communities.”

MFM Daily Devotional 9 March 2019 – Formula for Divine Prosperity

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 9 March 2019 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Formula for Divine Prosperity

TOPIC: Formula for Divine Prosperity (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 9 March 2019)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 7-9; Mark 11:19-33

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalms 77:11-18

MEMORY VERSE: “The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.” – Psalms 145:17-18

The MESSAGE:

In our Fire Scripture, the Bible affirms that it is good to meditate on the wonderful works of God (formulae) and appreciate Him for them. The dictionary defines formula as the method of achieving something. From our Fire Scripture, you can see that God has many different formulae for the execution of His wondrous works on earth. At creation, He commanded, He made, He divided to produce a beautiful world (Genesis 1). God also used different methods to fight the enemies of His children. He is never bereft of ways to execute His projects.

God has a prosperity formula for obedient children. We can see this in the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Joshua and David. God is interested in the prosperity of His children (Psalm 35:27). He likes to see His children happy and will sacrifice anything for this. God promised prosperity for His children and He does this diligently. We can see this in the life of Joseph in the house of Portiphar (Genesis 39:3). The young king Uzziah, who ascended the throne at the age of sixteen enjoyed divine prosperity when he did the right things (2 Chronicles 26:1-5).

God has standard formulae for prosperity which we should adopt for a better life. So, what are the formulae for divine prosperity? From the different stories in the Bible on divine prosperity, we can safely say they are:

  1. Obedience to God and total trust in Him, like Abraham.
  2. Anywhere God tells you to go, go there. He knows where your prosperity is located like in the case of Isaac (Genesis 26).
  3. Be transparent in all your transactions.
  4. Strive to hear from God before taking decisions.
  5. Pay your tithes and offerings regularly. This will keep the devourer away from you.
  6. Be a good friend of God. He blesses His friends daily.
  7. Be a source of blessing to helpless people around you. Their prayers for you will provoke answers from God.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
DIVINE PROSPERITY IS THE MEAT OF THE FRIENDS OF GOD.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Good things of life will not pass you by.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. O Lord, make me Your obedient child, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Divine prosperity, my life is available, enter, in the name of Jesus.
  3. O Lord, make me Your friend, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. O Lord, prosper my journey through life, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Every satanic wall raised up against my divine prosperity, break now, in the name of Jesus.
  6. Father Lord, release Your angels of prosperity to prosper my life, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Anointing for divine prosperity, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.

DCLM Daily Manna 9 March 2019 – God’s Glory Revealed!

Topic: God’s Glory Revealed! [DCLM Daily Manna 9 March 2019 Daily Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Psalm 19:1–6 (KJV)

Key Verse: “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalm 19:1).

MESSAGE:

“What is sextillion?”, a puzzled Julius asked the physics teacher who had just told the class that the mass of the earth is 6.6 sextillion tonnes. “Well”, the teacher answered, “to make it simple for you; you know that one bag of cement weighs 50 kilogrammes. So, one tonne will be twenty bags – right, 6.6 tonnes will then be 132 bags. Now if you multiply 132 bags of cement by one billion, you will have 132 billion bags of cement – isn’t it?” This quantity multiplied by one trillion will give you 6.6 sextillion tonnes – that’s the mass of the earth that revolves round the sun at a speed of 66,600 miles per hour. That’s the power of our God”, the teacher concluded.

Our text reveals God’s marvellous creations which are clearly displayed for all to see. Each day announces it to the following one and the night repeats same. Without words, their message is transmitted for all to hear and see! The sun is seen (from the earth), as going from one end of heaven to the other daily with its burning heat that touches all. The moon at night with its glorious light is a beauty to behold and so on. Compressed into just two chapters at the beginning of Genesis is the amazing story of how God created the heavens and the earth. The orderliness of nature is intriguing.

Surprisingly, some people claim that all these happened by a random error, and that there is no God that created them. The Bible calls such fools. The world, as complex and as multifaceted as it is, is the creation of the Almighty. And the world is not about to spiral out of control. God is absolutely in charge. Let your abiding trust be in the Most High who is perfect in counsel and excellent in working. No one else wields His awesome powers.

However, the great privilege of being a child of this great God must be treasured by living daily to glorify Him.

Thought For The Day: God’s creations portray His majesty.

Seeds of Destiny 9 March 2019 Devotional – The Passion of Elijah

Topic: The Passion of Elijah [Seeds of Destiny 9 March 2019 Devotional]

Your passion for God is proved by your desire to spend time with Him at the place of prayer and the study of His Word.

SCRIPTURE: Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. James 5:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your passion for God is proved by your desire to spend time with Him at the place of prayer and the study of His Word.

Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that Elijah was a man of passion, passion for God. He was so passionate and addicted to God that he had a permanent stand in God’s Presence (1 Kings 17:1). Elijah was so jealous and zealous for God that he stood for God alone when the children of Israel had forsaken God (1 Kings 19:10).

It is very important to know that his passion for God was evidenced by his prayer life. He prayed earnestly that it should not rain for three years and six months and the rain was suspended accordingly for that duration; he prayed again and the heaven brought forth rain at the end of the period (James 5:17). His prayer life made him to lock and open the heavens at will. Elijah was a symbol of prayer in the Scriptures. He did great exploits by the power of prayer.

He was so dedicated to God in prayer that he could call down fire from heaven (1 Kings 18:36-38). By the power of prayer, Elijah called down fire from heaven and consumed the burnt sacrifices and sanctified the land.

Apart from prayer, Elijah was a man of the Word. His prayer life was fuelled by his knowledge of the Word of God. He had studied the Scriptures and understood that sin could make God to shut the heaven (2 Chronicles 7:13-15) and so, he prayed the Word of God by locking and opening the heavens.

Beloved, your passion for God is proved by your desire to spend time with Him at the place of prayer and the study of His Word. People who are passionless for God do not care to pray or study God’s Word. Make up your mind to be passionate for God today. Be given to prayer and addicted to the Word.

Remember this: Your passion for God is proved by your desire to spend time with Him at the place of prayer and the study of His Word.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Study the Book of 1 Kings 17-19 to know more about the passion of Elijah.
  2. Ask God to baptize you with a greater dimension of passion for His Presence and His Word.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask that You baptize me afresh with a passion for Your Presence. Help me to treasure Your Presence above all things, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
