Joyce Meyer Devotional 11 February 2019 — Succeed at Being Yourself

Topic: Succeed at Being Yourself [Joyce Meyer Devotional 11 February 2019]

And Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you.” — 2 Samuel 7:3

Are you tired of playing games, wearing masks, and trying to be someone other than who you are? Wouldn’t you like the freedom just to be accepted as you are, without pressure to be someone you really don’t know how to be? Would you like to learn how to succeed at being yourself?

God wants you to accept yourself, to like who you are, and to learn to deal with your weaknesses. Everyone has weaknesses, but God doesn’t want you to reject yourself because of them.

If you base your value on your weaknesses, you will underestimate your value. Your worth is not based on anything you do but on what God has already done.

So, if Satan has been trying to convince you that you don’t measure up to the proper standard, remind him that everyone is imperfect and that God loves you just the way you are.

Prayer Starter: Father, You knew me and had a great plan for my life before I was ever born. Help me to view my weaknesses in a balanced way and truly love the person You created me to be. Today, help me to see myself the way You see me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Unveiling the Blessedness of Prayer and Fasting! By David Oyedepo

Unveiling the Blessedness of Prayer and Fasting! By David Oyedepo

Topic: Unveiling the Blessedness of Prayer and Fasting!

Welcome to another exciting week! I hope you were blessed by the last teaching. Today, we shall focus on: Unveiling the Blessedness of Prayer and Fasting!

From scriptures, we understand that prayer and fasting is an asset of inestimable value in fulfilling God’s agenda for our lives. As such, it is a non-negotiable requirement, ordained by God for us to experience specific benefits in our lives, as contained in scriptures. As it is written: Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rearward (Isaiah 58:6-8). As we all know, every of God’s agenda is a spiritual open door which usually attracts oppositions from hell and this is why we are called to engage in prayer and fasting in dealing with such spiritual strongholds. No wonder Jesus said: Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21; see also 1 Corinthians 16:9; 1Timothy 1:18). The above scripture helps us to know that some resistances will continue to get stronger without prayer and fasting. In order words, the siege sitting over any aspect of our lives may never move except by engaging the force of faith coupled with prayer and fasting. Remember, there is no other higher kind recognised in the Bible, other than prayer and fasting. We must, therefore, beware of selling our glorious destiny to the belly like Esau, who for a morsel of bread sold his birthright (Genesis 25:29-34).

What, then, are some of the Blessedness of Prayer and Fasting?

1. Fasting Spiritually Expedites Answers to Prayers: The Bible says: Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am… (Isaiah 58:9). Fasting facilitates speedy answers to our prayers. This is why the devil wants to keep us from praying while fasting, so as to rob us of the treasures that await us in it. However, we must get smarter than the devil by engaging with all our heart and might.

2. Prayer and Fasting Enhances Access to Divine Guidance: It is written: The Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not (Isaiah 58:11; see also Psalm 23:1). Everyone who is guided by the Lord is guided into realms of unending abundance (Isaiah 48:21; Ezra 8:21-23).

Also Read: Engaging the Mystery of Thanksgiving for Fulfillment of Prophecies! By David Oyedepo

3. It Empowers us for Dominion: It is impossible to operate in the realm of power without prayer and fasting as a lifestyle. Everyone who has ever operated in the realm of power subscribed to the demands of prayer and fasting. Even Christ had no identity until He returned from a forty-day prayer and fasting expedition. David, in desperate need for power, said: O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; to see thy power and thy glory… (Psalm 63:2-3; see also Isaiah 58:6; Luke 4:14-37). This means we cannot experience God’s power without a thirsty soul and a longing flesh.

4. Access to Outbreak of Revelations: It is the light we encounter that sets the pace for the glory we enjoy. The Bible says: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1). Therefore, fasting period is not just a praying time, but a searching time. It is the time to identify materials that will help us in any area of challenge in our lives. There are things we would never get except we are looking for them in the time of prayer and fasting (2 Corinthians 4:4).

5. Access to our High Places: In concluding the benefits of fasting from Isaiah 58:6, God said: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. That means fasting paves the way forward for us. Nehemiah fasted and received favour. He was a man without identity but succeeded in rebuilding the broken walls of Jerusalem in 52 days after he had prayed and fasted. This is a proof that fasting paves the way to our high places.

6. It Facilitates Fulfillment of Prophecy: As it is written: This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare (1 Timothy 1:18). Every prophecy must be enforced before it can be realised and one way to enforce its fulfilment is through the weapon of prayer and fasting. Moreover, every prophecy is like an open door and the Bible says: For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries (1 Corinthians 16:9). Therefore, we engage in prayer and fasting to resist every adversary that may hinder the fulfilment of prophecy in our lives (1 Kings 18:42-44).

In summary, if all these blessings accrue to us in fasting, then, it is wisdom to maximally engage in it, so we can begin to flow in the realm of glory the remaining days of our lives. This is because whatever is delivered to us this season is defined as exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Thus, you must be born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!” For further reading, please get my books: Winning Prayer, Satan Get Lost, and Born to Win.

Rendering Financial Services by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Rendering Financial Services by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Rendering Financial Services

The account in Genesis chapter 1 gives a vivid explanation of progression. God moved from one level to another. He did not create all things in one day. This same approach is applicable in business. Your success in business is evident when you move from one level to the other. You should not remain at the beginning where you started; there should be advancement. Think big from the beginning but start with what is available and then keep making progress.

Job 8:7 (KJV) Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.

To neglect the law of progression may keep you from going forward. Start with what is available; it is not evidence of doubt but evidence of planning. Faith will not take the place of planning. The Almighty God had to plan and if He, to whom all things are possible moved from one step to another, then you are not exempted. One step at a time is the surest way to get to the top. Every long journey starts with a step. Failure to take the first step is also failure to arrive at your destination.

Also Read: A Glorious Beginning (Part 4) By Pastor Faith Oyedepo

If you do not believe in the principle of progression, you will not go far in business. When you move from one stage to another in progression, you will be more stable. If you despise an orange seed you will not get an orange tree. No child is born as an adult; he grows to become an adult. Whatever you have now is enough to start your next miracle.

Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus never considered the shame and chastisement as a barrier to His vision but as a bridge through which He will achieve His vision.

Always have a vision of the future by setting a picture before you and begin to feature in it and see it. When you are starting small, you can see where you are going; so what is happening does not upset you. Do not be ashamed, just be focused.

Every stage is a stage of stability because progression gives you stability. It gives you opportunities to face challenges and develop your mental capacity. When you are in business, challenges stretch you. The good side of challenges is that it helps to provoke your capacity to perform. It makes you face giants and come out victorious.

A man that progresses should never be proud. If you want to go into business you must be humble.

John 6:12 (KJV) When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

Progression guarantees future discipline. You will never waste resources. If you can see where you are going, challenges you encounter now will not intimidate or stop you.

As you start from where you are and continue to seek positive means to make progress, the desire of your heart shall be delivered into your hands, in Jesus name-Amen!

God bless you.

Breaking Family and Generational Curses (2) By Pastor Paul Enenche

FEBRUARY 2019 ANOINTING SERVICE – 10TH FEBRUARY 2019
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): GALATIANS 3:13-14
MESSAGE TOPIC: BREAKING FAMILY AND GENERATIONAL CURSES (2)
BY: DR. PAUL ENENCHE

SERVICE OBJECTIVE: Understanding what it takes to receive your deliverance

Receiving deliverance is one thing but maintaining deliverance is another thing altogether.

Many have been delivered but some of the time, the affliction seems to return.

THE GENERAL RULE FOR MAINTAINING DELIVERANCE:
If you remember how you came out, you can continue to remain out.
Whatever you did to get delivered, you must continue to do or even increase in it to remain delivered (Isa. 51:1-2).

Also Read: Divine Preservation Through the Word of God By Pastor Paul Enenche

WHAT TO DO TO REMAIN DELIVERED:

  1. Remain in the Lord; remain in uprightness (Eccl. 10:8; Isa. 54:14)
1a. If you break the hedge, the serpent will bite (Eccl. 10:8)
1b. You can be far from oppression, only if you are established in righteousness (Isa. 54:14)
  2. Walk in the Light (John 8:32; Isa. 2:5; Rom. 12:1-2)
Walk in the revelation that brought you liberty
2a. Darkness can only return when light has grown dim (Rom. 12:1-2)
2b. Revelation is what sustains liberation (Rom. 12:1-2)
If you ever got a revelation that delivered you from one thing or the other, you must continuously recharge in that revelation
Your eating of yesterday cannot handle your hunger of tomorrow
The tape or CD that charged you up, listen to it again and again
  3. Maintain spiritual intensity (Rom. 12:11; Matt. 13:25)
Spiritual intensity/wakefulness is needed to keep the darkness at bay
There is a level of spiritual temperature that you will maintain that makes it impossible for affliction to come near you
3a. The enemy plants evil when men sleep (Matt. 13:25)
The season of spiritual slumbering is a season of high satanic oppression
3b. Spiritual emptiness facilitates demonic oppression, repossession and re-entry (Matt. 12:43-45a)
You need to declare charging sessions (consecrational fasting and prayer) just to let the devil know you are alive, aware and in charge!
Go into the Bible and look for the scriptures that back your convictions; refuel your fuel; recharge
your charge! Don’t live by assumption!
Jesus didn’t just carry your sickness and affliction, He also carried your premature death (Heb. 2:9)
  4. Live in the Blessing (Deut. 28:1-End)
The Blessing is the curse neutralizer
4a. To live in the Blessing is to live beyond the encroachment of the curse
4b. If you do the things that keep you in the Blessing, you are kept out of curses
Obedience to Divine instruction (Deut. 28:1-2); righteousness (Ps. 5:12); Covenant practice (Mal. 3:10); prophetic covering (Num. 6:23); Service to God (Ex. 23:25) – all of these things keep you in the Blessing
To walk in the things that guarantee the blessing is to escape the curse
  5. Remain under prophetic covering (Hos. 12:13; Mark 10:52)
5a. The prophetic mantle that terminates your captivity is the same mantle that sustains your liberty (Mark 10:52)
5b. To remain under the mantle is to triumph over the battle
Any battle that passes your power cannot pass the power of the mantle you are under!

PRAYERS

Father, I receive the grace to remain under the prophetic covering, to understand the Blessing and connect with the details of the Blessing, I receive that grace Lord in Jesus’ Name

Father, help me to never let my spiritual fire to go down; I receive the grace to maintain spiritual intensity and to walk in the light in Jesus’ Name

Father, grace to remain in the Lord, I receive it Lord, in Jesus’ Name

Father, I come before You today, to receive complete and total freedom from the power of the enemy today. I reject the curse, I reject every ancestral/generational/witchcraft/occultic covenant and agreement to damn my life and my destiny, I reject it. By the Blood of Jesus, I receive my freedom and liberty from the powers of hell. Every spirit of near success syndrome, rise and crash, premature death, wretchedness, I reject you. Every liability of my father’s house and cyclical pattern, I reject you. Today, I receive my freedom and liberty NOW in Jesus’ Name!

I make demands on the mantle of God upon this altar to attack every battle of my life, family and destiny; I make demands on the Blood of Jesus to neutralize, cancel and annul every curse or spell over my life and destiny in Jesus’ Name

Father, in Nigeria, have the final say, have the best say Lord, in Jesus’ Name!

Father, in Nigeria, go ahead and manifest Yourself, in Jesus’ Name

GOD’S WORD FOR NIGERIA:

  • The enemy may have the first say but it is God that has the final say
  • The enemy may have the first say but it is God that has the best say
  • The silence of God is not consent for the enemy; it is not weakness before the enemy, it is an incubation for His manifestation!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

  • Whatever belongs to you that the enemy has delayed, it shall be released to you this morning in Jesus’ Name!
  • What is killing others in your family will never come near you! That spirit of affliction is arrested!
  • Today is the end of every rise and fall in your life!
  • Every yoke of backwardness, today is the end of it in Jesus’ Name!
  • I take authority against every arrow of premature death around your life, family and destiny; it is retrieved and returned back to sender!
  • Everything you have noticed around your father’s house that seems to be an experience in your life, today it is annulled!
  • Everything that is working contrary to Redemption, contrary to Calvary in your life, family and destiny, today, that curse is broken!
  • spirits of premature death, suicide and insanity, your tenure has expired today!
  • Your liberty is confirmed and under 24hours you shall be here to testify
  • What killed your mother, father, or loved one shall not kill you
  • Every ancestral, generational, family curse is broken!
  • Everyone looking for you for evil, they shall go for you! Every pit they dug for you, they shall fall into it!
  • They shall pay you double for trouble!
  • You cannot labour in vain or bring forth for trouble; everywhere you have laboured and they are trying to waste your labour, I decree, your harvest is released!
  • There shall be no war or bloodshed in Nigeria; anybody thirsty for blood in this nation, they shall drink their own blood!
  • No matter how hard anybody tries, the wrong person shall never ascend the throne in Nigeria at all levels!

TREM Devotional 11 February 2019 – Christ Had By Himself Purged Our Sins

Topic: Christ Had By Himself Purged Our Sins [TREM Devotional 11 February 2019]

“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews 1:3 KJV

According to Hebrews 1:1: “God who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake…”.What I want you to see there is that He spoke. And by the Word, He spoke are all things upheld. All things in the universe are upheld by the Word of His power. In other words, the Word of God carries power. You see, Jesus did all things perfectly. But now He is upholding all things by the Word of His power. That means if the Word is taken out of this world, everything will dematerialize. Everything will melt off. You are existing because of the Word that was spoken. You are moving about because of the Word.

The Word, in itself, has the capacity to produce whatever it says. He had by Himself purged all our sins. The word ‘purged’ is past tense. In other words, it has been done. Therefore, it is an insult to God to call yourself a sinner. You are not a sinner. You are a son of God. Even when you fell into sin, it still does not make you a sinner. If I go to the mechanic’s workshop to service my car and I am wearing a white pant and I sit down, my trousers will certainly be dirty. Does that make me a mechanic? No! I am not a mechanic. I am still a preacher. That is how it is!

This world is filled with filth. And at times we come in contact with dirt called sin, but that doesn’t change your identity. Christ has by Himself purged our sins. ‘Purged’ means completely obliterated, wiped out and eradicated. Your sins have been removed. So never be sin conscious! Be righteousness conscious! Never be afraid to approach God. What makes you right is Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional 11 February 2019 – Modern Day Idolatry (II)

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 11 February 2019 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Modern Day Idolatry (II)

TOPIC: Modern Day Idolatry (II) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 11 February 2019)

Bible In One Year: Leviticus 11-12; Matthew 26:1-25

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Psalm 78:51-64

MEMORY VERSE: “For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.” – Deuteronomy 4:24

The MESSAGE

Yesterday, we established the fact that there are subtle, modern day idols that people have placed in the position of God in their lives. We also stressed that such idols, in modern times, are not carved images that people pour palm oil or libation on. Finally, we admonished that we are to love God more than all other things, including our wives and children, etc. God should be the centre of our lives.

The love of the world and the things that are in the world is responsible for modern day idolatry. The Bible warns that the love of the Father is not in anyone that loves the world. 1 John 2:15 says, “Love not the world nor the things that are in the world…” Demas was an Apostle Paul’s companion in his missionary journey. The Bible records that, at a point, he forsook Paul and went back to the world. The world passes away and the lust in it. The world and its allurement have no eternal value. They will only subtract things of eternal value from your life and lead you to hell fire. Paul said, “Demas has forsaken me. Having loved this present evil world.” Remember Lot’s wife? She loved the worldly things and pleasures she was leaving behind in Sodom than she loved God and her own soul. She flouted the instruction of God, looked back and became a pillar of salt. The world and material things she was leaving behind in Sodom were idols in her life.

There are still several million souls around the world whose first love is food, or alcohol or tobacco. They are gourmets, gourmands and hedonists (pleasure lovers). They are friends of the world and are married to materialism. Besides, rather than seek God and love Him with all their souls, might and lives, some seek power and position. Power occupies the place of God in their lives. Still for some, their idol is sex.

Beloved, any of these modern day idols can send anyone to hell. You must break every idol that has enthroned itself in your heart and cast it out so that God will take pre-eminence in your life. God must be your all in all, the epicentre of your life and your father indeed. Apart from getting rid of idols in your life, you also owe God the duty of teaching others to know and avoid idolatry, especially the subtle and modern ones. Encourage them to get rid of idols and serve God with total devotion.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
GOD NEVER DISAPPOINTS ANYONE WHO PLACES HIS TRUST IN HIM.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Today, I dedicate your life and all that concern you to the Almighty God.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Lord, I thank You for Your power that is able to save and deliver to the utmost, in the name of Jesus.
  2. O Lord, forgive me for loving the things of the world more than I love You, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Blood of Jesus, flush away from my life any worldly habits, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. Worldly affection, my life is not your dwelling place, die, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Holy Spirit, fill me afresh with the Love of the Father, in the name of Jesus.
  6. Let every unbroken area of my life be broken now, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Every anti-power bondage, break and release me, in the name of Jesus.

DCLM Daily Manna 11 February 2019 – Deceitful Dealing

Topic: Deceitful Dealing [DCLM Daily Manna 11 February 2019 Daily Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Exodus 8:25-32 (KJV)

Key Verse: “And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD. (Exodus 8:29).

MESSAGE:

A shepherd boy who had joy in playing pranks on his people had this penchant for shouting ‘lion, lion, lion.’ His village would run out with guns and staves to help confront the wild beast only to see no lion. And the young man would laugh them to scorn. This he did a number of times until the people knew he was merely playing pranks. But one particular day, the lion indeed came and again he shouted for help but nobody responded. Needless to say, the lion indeed had a field day with his sheep.

Pharaoh had continued with his deceitful pranks. He did not sit down to calculate the cost of what he was doing. This time, he had met with Moses to once again go to plead with God promising to let the people go. But as soon as God relented and eased their pain; “Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go” (verse 32).

It is difficult to understand how a man purporting to be leading a people could so harden his heart to the point of insensitivity. It is to be noted that the plagues grew in severity of judgment. First, the Egyptians’ comfort was affected, then their property, then came physical pain, mental frustration and finally death.

Is there any area of your belonging you have held too tightly and have refused to let go? Are you holding back what belongs to God? Have a rethink today. Beware of Pharaoh’s obstinacy, lest you suffer the same fate as Pharaoh’s.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God’s ownership over His creation is indisputable; submit to His Majesty.

Rhapsody of Realities 11 February 2019 – Holy And Without Blame

Rhapsody of Realities 11 February 2019 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome – Holy And Without Blame

Topic: Holy And Without Blame

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love (Ephesians 1:4).

Hebrews 3:1 says, “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus.” Did you notice that we’re called “holy brethren”? Only God can say that! Your neighbours, friends, family members, etc., may not consider you holy; but God says you are, and His verdict is what counts. Aren’t you glad about that?

You’re not holy or righteous because of your actions, but because you live in the presence of God, and have His nature of righteousness. He gave you His righteousness as a gift: “…they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness…” (Romans 5:17). Before God, you’re justified; there’s no record of sin or wrongdoing against your name. That’s the reason He says you’re without blame.

Sadly, some haven’t been able to put away self-blame. They’ve rendered their faith and life ineffective due to excessive self-recrimination; that’s wrong. Your conscience isn’t supposed to keep you in bondage of guilt and condemnation, because Jesus, the Son of God, died in your place. He paid the ultimate price for your sins. The Bible says in Acts 13:38-39, “…by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.”

Do you know what it means to be justified? It means to be declared righteous; to be acquitted; the charges against you were dismissed because you never sinned. How is that possible? It’s because Jesus took your place, and now you’re in His place. So how does God see you now? He sees you holy, sanctified, and separated unto Him. Hallelujah.

Until and unless you realise that God has made you holy, you’ll never live a holy life. You can only live the life that God has given you. A dog lives the dog life; humans live the human life, because they have the life of human beings. Likewise, because we have the life and nature of God, we’re holy and can live holy. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for presenting me faultless, perfect, holy, unblameable, and irreproveable before you in love! Thank you for the death, burial and glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, by which I now stand forever justified in your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Our Daily Bread 11 February 2019 Devotional – Giving Credit

Topic: Giving Credit [Our Daily Bread 11 February 2019 Devotional]

Bible in a Year: Bible in a Year: Leviticus 11–12; Matthew 26:1–25

Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord. – 1 Corinthians 1:31

Today’s Scripture & Insight: Jeremiah 9:23-26

In the early 1960s, some unusual paintings featuring a person or animal with huge, sad eyes became popular. Some considered the work “kitschy”—or tacky—but others delighted in it. As the artist’s husband began to promote his wife’s creations, the couple grew quite prosperous. But the artist’s signature—Margaret Keane—didn’t appear on her work. Instead, Margaret’s husband presented his wife’s work as his own. Margaret fearfully remained silent about the fraud for twenty years until the couple’s marriage ended. It took a courtroom “paint-off” between them to prove the true artist’s identity.

The man’s deception was clearly wrong, but even as followers of Jesus, we may find it easy to take credit for talents we possess, leadership skills we display, or even for our kind deeds to others. But those qualities are possible only because of God’s grace. In Jeremiah 9, we find the prophet lamenting the lack of humility and the unrepentant hearts of the people. He wrote that the Lord says we shouldn’t boast of our wisdom, our strength, or our riches, but only that we might understand and know that He is the Lord “who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth” (v. 24).

Our hearts fill with gratitude as we realize the identity of the true Artist. “Every good and perfect gift is . . . from the Father” (James 1:17). All of the credit, all of the praise belongs to the Giver of good gifts.

Today’s Reflection
Dear Father, thank You for all the good gifts You so graciously give.
