There are so many things we have missed because we remain in the comfort zone (Deut. 1:6-7)
God is calling us to come up higher
1. Get up
2. Go up
3. Grow up

1. Get up – From revelation to restoration (Josh. 7:10-11, 13)
Revelation will answer the question ‘why?’
Revelation is very important
Anything that God is not pleased with – sin, disobedience, rebellion against the word of God, is the accursed thing and the accursed thing must be removed from your life in order to move higher (Josh. 7:13)

2. Go up – From revelation to resurrection (Gen. 20:3-5, 7-8,17)
If you don’t do something about the revelation you receive, nothing will change
One revelation can bring a dead business, organ or child back to life. The prodigal son was a dead child that came back to life.

3. Grow up – From revelation to realisation (2 Kings 19:29-35)
We are not going to remain baby Christians all our lives
You will be a Giant for Christ!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Whatever you have got and you are saying praise the Lord, by the time we are through tonight, you shall be coming up higher!
– God is going to work a miracle in your life! Resurrection miracle!
– That unsolvable problem you’ve been carrying about, tonight a revelation will come that solve it!
– You will see the hand of the Lord moving in your life
– Everything dead in your brain, blood system, nerves, in your business, in your life, tonight, I proclaim resurrection in your life!
– Whatever they are saying in your life, God is saying something different!
– What they said can never happen will happen in your life tonight
– That thing you have been asking God for a long time, receive it in Jesus’ Name!
– Because of the miracle in your life tonight, somebody will come to Christ
– Because of the impossibility of the miracle that will happen in your life, somebody will come to Christ!
– Tonight will be the night of realisation in your life in Jesus’ Name
– The winds of adversity will not blow you away!
Your roots will go deep into the ground and your fruits shall grow upwards!
– Enemies shall not come into your home, city or church!
– This church will grow from strength to strength, glory to glory, power to power and achievement to achievement!
– In your life, family, business and church, every prophecy that has come to you will come to pass!
– This year will end well!
– The coming year will begin very well for you!
– Something new is going to begin in your life!
– The impossibilities of the past will become the possibilities of tomorrow!
– God has said yes from Heaven, therefore no devil will be able to say no!
– DECEMBER for you shall be:
D – Dominion = Everything that had power over your life before this time you shall have dominion over them from today!
E – Enlargement = Your life and your coast will begin to enlarge; every restriction you have encountered in your life, from now, it shall be enlargement!
C – Conservation = Your blessing will not be taken away from you. Conservation in your life from this December in Jesus’ Name!
E – Exaltation = God will promote and exalt you!
M – Magnification = Your life will be magnified! Small will become big; little will become great!
B – Breakthrough = Every stumbling block will vanish out of your life!
E – Emancipation = Nothing will tie you down or hold you back again
R – Renewal = All the old things in your life – old limitations are cancelled!

When there is war in heaven, Why do u think it strange that the devil is fighting against your marriage, your life, your ministry?

Born to win is to born to fight.

Let’s see another scripture:

Revelation 19:11
It speaks about righteousness..

Does a righteous fight?

It means Making war in righteousness.

Are there armies in heaven? Navies in heaven?
The Lord is a man of war….
The enemy you spare may never spare you.
When you say you want to be righteous, then you have declare war.

The enemy you ignore may never spare you.
Should a righteous make war? .It’s a big ‘YES’!

These spiritual nuclear prayers are the prayers of the psalmist

Look at the new testament
It contains curses.

Peter cursed Ananaiah and Sapphirah.

Jesus pronounced woe…
There is time to love and there is time to hate.

Many of us have come from a foundation that needs these kind of spiritual nuclear prayers.

Psalm 69:22-28.. These are the spiritual nuclear prayers, no nonsense prayers.

Without praying these kind of prayers, It will be practically impossible to make it in life.

Spiritual nuclear prayer is to stop them before they stop you.

Dislocate them before they dislocate you.

Embarrass them before they embarrass you.

Raise your hand and pray like this:

1. Powers that stopped my parents, you cannot stop me: die in the name of JESUS.

2. Powers that stopped my parents, I am not candidate: die in the name of Jesus.

If you know what I want to say now is not applicable to you, then you don’t need to pray; just pray for me and my interpreter:

1. Your great great grand father is born again, no worship of idol.

2. Your great grand father is born again.

3. In your father’s house: no idol, no polygamy, no witchcraft,
Same in your mother’s house; then you don’t need to pray at all.

You need these prayers:

1. When funds are low, debt are high.

2. When experts says you can’t make it in life.

3. When your friends have forsaken you.

4. When unbelievers are asking where is your God.

5. When your friends are becoming your enemies.

6. When shedding tears is next thing to your eyes.

7. You need that prayer when your golden greatness is lost in the wilderness of failure.

8. When you are completely blinded with ignorance.

9. When the enemy has put a full stop on your progress.

What to do:

1. Surrender your life to JESUS.

2. Confess your sins.

3. Understand the world we are living in is filled with wickedness.

4. And what you need to fight wickedness is violence.

A wise person is identified by what he fears. After commanding you to ‘Fear not’ in so many passages of the Bible, the Lord commanded you to fear only one being; the Almighty God. According to Hebrews 5:7, the only person Jesus Christ feared was the Father. People fear different things to today, some fear Human beings, especially those in power, the wealthy and the influential, some fear the devil, demons and their agents.

If you can rightly choose what to fear in the midst of several fear producing situations, you are wise. Jesus Christ feared God Almighty, hence He had no need to fear anyone else. Joseph too feared God to the extent of not caring about what will happen to his future and his budding career. Today people fear what people will think of them if they do the right thing than they fear God. Who and what do you fear?

Prayer Point: Heavenly Father, please remove the fear of anyone or anything from my heart, fill my heart with Your fear alone in Jesus’ name.

Thought For The Day: Anyone who does not strengthen your conviction and provide inspiration and motivation to you is not a friend.

Yesterday, we saw that there are benefits in serving God. God is not a user of men, rather, He is a raiser of men. So, releasing yourself to the service of God is a pathway to accessing the blessings of God.
However, there are some obstacles that prevent a person from serving God or living a dedicated life. These obstacles can make a person become a slothful and lethargic Christian.

Now, one of such obstacles is THE WRONG ASSOCIATION.
I would like you to take note of the following points regarding association:
a. Your association can either corrupt or correct your character, depending on who you associate with.
b. Your association can either be a blessing or a curse to your life and destiny.
c. Your association can either upgrade or downgrade your life and destiny. People’s lives can either be upgraded or degraded because of their choice of association.
d. Your friends affect your spiritual fire, passion, enthusiasm and zeal. When you are connected to a fire-brand person, you are set on fire.
e. Your friends affect your faith and your conviction.
f. Your friends affect your future ultimately. Anyone who does not strengthen your conviction and provide inspiration and motivation is not a friend.

Beloved, if you want to maintain your spiritual fire, be selective in your relationships.

Remember This: Anyone who does not strengthen your conviction and provide inspiration is not a friend.

Assignments:
1. Choose your friends deliberately and wisely.
2. Dissociate yourself from every wrong association.
3. Be a faithful friend.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask for the grace to dissociate myself from every wrong association and influence around my life. Lead me to the right people and help me to be a faithful friend, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 2 December 2018 Sunday MESSAGE:

The parable told by Jesus of the farm owner and his fruitless fig tree should make us realize that nothing goes for nothing. The farm owner was not keeping the fig tree on his farm for decorative purpose; he wanted it for fruits. After waiting for years, the tree remained fruitless, and so he decided to get rid of it. Beloved, are you fulfilling any purpose in God’s kingdom? Are you just a statistic on the number of Christians alive or are you bearing fruit?

As long as you have breath, you have a purpose and cannot afford to stay fruitless, lest farm owner decides it’s time to cut you down. The terrifying part of today’s story is that the farm owner was prepared to disregard his labour of past years over the fruitless fig tree and ignore the potential of getting any fruits from it in future. At that point, he only counted the tree as nothing but a waste of farmland.

In today’s memory verse, Jesus clearly stated that every branch in Him that does not bear fruit will be cut off. As a born-again Christian, you are one of His branched (John 15:1). Every believer needs to be the branch of the vine that yields fruit and is pruned to yield more fruit, particularly the fruit of the Spirit – love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Our actions, purpose and attitude need to flow from the fruit of the Spirit for us to be considered fruitful.

The good news today is that the vinedresser intervenes on behalf of the fruitless fig tree, asking the owner to give him one more year to carefully manage it. If it remained fruitless after one year, then the owner could finally decide to cut down the tree. Beloved, examine yourself today to determine if you are not currently fruitless. Perhaps you are even undergoing your one year grace period before being cut off and replaced with a fruitful tree? What is the motive behind your actions and work for God today? Are you exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit in all that you do? In addition to manifesting the fruit of the Spirit, we are also expected to bear fruits of souls into God’s kingdom, and these fruits must remain. The fruit of souls you win to Christ will remain when you follow them up and teach them the ways of the kingdom. May the Lord strengthen you as you faithfully do all this in Jesus’ Name.

Key Verse: “And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished” (Daniel 12:7).

MESSAGE:

The emergence of computer has greatly fuelled the advancement of science and technology and drastically changed the way we live. Alongside these advancements is increasing sense of insecurity and apprehension – no thanks to recent social, economic and political developments in the world.

Both Testaments of the Bible foretold what the end of the present age will be. The book of Daniel is one of the prominent scriptures in this regard. Its last chapter summarises and concludes the great revelations contained in the book. The earlier verses foretold the eventual deliverance of the Jews from Antiochus who will greatly persecute them. Beyond that, it points to the fate of believers (dead and alive) before the coming of the Antichrist. They will be raptured to meet the Lord in the air and be rewarded for their works.

Christ’s coming at the rapture would be to deliver believers from the troubles that would be unleashed on the world during the reign of the Antichrist. The Bible reveals that he will reign for seven years. He will deceive the world for three and half years, gain global acceptance and eventually enter into an agreement with Israel. But Israel’s real trouble will begin with the last three and half years when the Antichrist will renege, desecrate their worship and persecute them.

Truly, “Left behind” believers will weep and gnash their teeth. Do you want to be among them? Thus, “give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:10,11). Be prepared.

Thought For The Day: The greatest miss of all times will be the missing of the rapture.

Topic: A Safe Place [Our Daily Bread 2 December 2018 Devotional]

Read: Psalm 17:1–9, Bible in a Year: Ezekiel 42–44; 1 John 1

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 17:6

My brothers and I grew up on a wooded hillside in West Virginia that provided a fertile landscape for our imaginations. Whether swinging from vines like Tarzan or building tree houses like the Swiss Family Robinson, we played out the scenarios we found in the stories we read and movies we watched. One of our favorites was building forts and then pretending we were safe from attack. Years later, my kids built forts out of blankets, sheets, and pillows—constructing their own “safe place” against imaginary enemies. It seems almost instinctive to want a hiding place where you can feel safe and secure.

When David, the singer-poet of Israel, sought a safe place, he looked no further than God. Psalm 17:8 asserts, “[God,] keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings.” When you consider the Old Testament record of David’s life and the almost constant threats he faced, these words reveal an amazing level of confidence in God (v. 6). In spite of those threats, he was convinced his true safety was found in Him.

We can know that same confidence. The God who promises to never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5) is the One we trust with our lives every day. Although we live in a dangerous world, our God gives us peace and assurance—both now and forever. He is our safe place.

Prayer: Father, the world around me can feel threatening, overwhelming, and dangerous. But You give me peace, strength, and help.

Give God thanks for being your hiding place today.

INSIGHT
In the Psalms, we find people speaking to God about the concerns of their heart and the practical issues of everyday life. As such, there are various categories of psalms. One category is imprecatory psalms (Psalms 5, 10, 17, 35, 58, 59, 70, 79, 83, 109, 129, 137, 140). Imprecatory literally means “to pray evil against” or “to invoke a curse upon.” In these psalms, the author typically asks for vindication against an enemy for unjust treatment. These prayers can range in aggression from a request for justice and vindication to petition for the death and destruction of one’s enemies (see Psalm 17:2 and Psalms 35 and 137 for increasingly aggressive requests for God’s action). While some imprecatory psalms may make us uncomfortable, we must remember that these are human requests for God to act—requests made from the pit of despair, frustration, and hopelessness.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any. – Mark 11:25

Few people realize just how closely connected faith and forgiveness are. Jesus taught about that connection in His sermon on mountain-moving faith that’s recorded in Mark 11:22-26.

He said, “What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive” (verses 24-25).

Jesus backed those two sentences up together on purpose. He wanted us to know that releasing those who have wronged us is fundamental to receiving from God. He wanted to impress on our hearts the fact that we cannot have our prayers answered and hold grudges in our hearts at the same time.

Unforgiveness clogs the faith channel and keeps you powerless against the mountains in your life!

If you’ve been praying for something and you just can’t seem to get an answer, check your heart for unforgiveness. Ask the Holy Spirit to bring any grudge that’s hidden there to light. Unclog the channel of faith and you will soon see things you’ve been praying for come to pass.

Mark 15:10 “For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.”

The Jews were God’s chosen people and therefore, God’s representatives on earth. Yet, they lied and condemned an innocent man to death. Pilate could see that their real motivation for wanting Jesus dead was envy. They were doing all their religious works to be seen of men, and were upset that Jesus was getting more recognition than they were. If these Jews would have thought about what type of witness they were giving, even they would have known that their actions were not inspired by God.

We should remember that we are God’s witnesses on earth, or as Paul said, “We are epistles… known and read of all men” (2 Cor. 3:2). Judging our actions in the light of, “What kind of witness will this give to others?” will help us discern whether or not we are being led of God.

The chief priests had deceived themselves and other religious people into believing that they were condemning Jesus for godly reasons, but even an ungodly ruler like Pilate could see through their lies. Religious bondage blinds people to the truth even more than sin does.

These rulers wanted to retain their power and authority, so they fought against the power and authority of Jesus. This is still the same today. Men use doctrinal issues to disguise the real issue. The truth is that, “Only by pride cometh contention” (Prov. 13:10). People who love to have the preeminence (3 Jn. 9) are usually the instigators of persecution.

If you are a young man or young woman hooked on dissent or despair, ready to split, then lend me your attention. My answer concerns your dreams, and the element in your make-up called “faith.” All that God requires of anyone in taking his first step toward Him and toward total self-fulfillment is faith—faith in His Word, that teaches that God loves you and that you were alienated from Him by sin, that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you, that when you make a personal surrender to Him as Lord and Savior, He can transform you from the inside out.

Prayer for the day: Your Word, heavenly Father, brings me hope and redemption through Jesus Christ—thrusts through the despondencies of life and says You love me!
