MFM Daily Devotional 17 November 2018 – Breaking The Laws Of Error

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 17 November 2018 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Breaking The Laws Of Error

TOPIC: Breaking The Laws Of Error (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 17 November 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Romans 7:21-25

MEMORY VERSE: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” – Romans 8:2

The MESSAGE:

There are two laws Christians are confronted with all the time. (i) The law of God and (ii) the law of death. A law is a written or understood rule that concerns behaviours and the appropriate consequences thereof. That is, when a stated law is disobeyed, it attracts punishment. Therefore, laws are stated conditions guiding living and behaviour. It is a set aside provision that guides all that are concerned. Laws are meant to be obeyed, and human beings are expected to live by the law of a particular sect, region, organisation, societies etc which they belong to. When laws are obeyed, consideration, calmness and orderliness are maintained. It is therefore, expected to provide peace in every situation.

Spiritually speaking, one who is not born again has a set laws to obey, which are the laws of satan. The devil becomes his master and such a person has no choice but to obey his master. It is only the power of salvation that can deliver such a person from the laws of the devil. When Saul was persecuting Christians and encouraging their deaths, he was only performing this act based on the negative laws of his day, which was against the will of God. God had to intervene and use him to propagate the Gospel. He realised later that as a Christian, there are two laws he is being confronted with and so he declared in Romans 7:23, “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” This is the law of sin; it is the law of captivity that is at war against the righteous law to destroy its victim. However, glory be to God who has the power and authority to deliver and break every negative law.

Cain became a victim when he obeyed the law of error and killed his brother, Abel. King David was defeated three times by the demons of the law of error despite being a man after God’s heart. In Jeremiah 44:16-17, the remnants of Judah obeyed the law of error and the consequences were terrible. Do you believe the Prophets, the Bible and the words from the pulpit? Do you believe in your dreams, visions and prayers? If you do not, you may be in bondage and captivity without knowing. For complete salvation, it is pertinent that you break the laws of error to avoid being in the position that satan would hurt you. Ask God to remove every spirit of error and mistakes from your life.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
THE GREATEST POWER TO DO UNUSUAL EXPLOITS FOR THE LORD IS RECEIVED ON BENDED KNEES IN PRAYERS.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Every law or situation standing against your moving forward shall suddenly break by fire.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. I receive the mandate to break all negative laws operating against God’s law in my life, in Jesus’ name.
2. Every law assigned to put me into captivity, today is your end, break, in Jesus’ name.
3. Every law assigned to make me a wretched Christian, break, in Jesus’ name.

EVENING
4. Any law assigned to make me a servant of the devil, tonight is your end, break, in Jesus’ name.
5. Laws assigned to make me an evildoer before God, I break away from you, in Jesus’ name.

The Secret of Lasting Wealth by David Ibiyeomie

The Secret of Lasting Wealth by David Ibiyeomie

Topic: The Secret of Lasting Wealth

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

God is love. God answers prayers but He is not prayers. He works miracles but He is not miracle; God is love. When you understand the love of God, what answers to God will answer to you. Until this love question is answered, your financial dominion will not be answered. The reason most people have not gotten business secrets is not because they are not born again, God reveals things to those that love Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10, 12 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Secrets revealed by God was what made men wealthy right from the Bible days. Secrets are revealed to those who love Him; not people who come to church. It is not about proximity but is connectivity; it is the relationship you have with God. The secret for wealth is loving God.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity (love) never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Also Read: Use The Available by David Ibiyeomie

When you walk in love, you cannot fail because God is love and God never fails. You cannot be sold out and not make impact in life. Solomon never prayed for money but was the richest man in his time.

1 Kings 3:3 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

Solomon loved the Lord and he showed his love through his actions, his giving the best to God. As a result, God gave him even those things he did not ask for.

1 Kings 3:13 And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.

You must have a revelation of God’s love to enjoy everlasting wealth. Struggling for wealth is a misplacement of priority; just love God.

Luke 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Struggling to give is a proof that you do not love God. God loved the world and He laid down Jesus without struggle.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Whatever you cannot lay down disqualifies your love for God. Love is laying down something precious; your best. God never laid down Angel Gabriel or Angel Michael. He laid down Jesus, His only son. Most of us give but do not give their very best; they give our second best. Anyone you see getting wealthy laid the foundation of love and gave his best.

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

The love of God is there already in your heart. May the Holy Spirit help you to give it expression in Jesus name-Amen!

God bless you

Teens Open Heavens 17 November 2018 – Self Or God

Topic: Self Or God [Teens Open Heavens 17 November 2018]

Memorise: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. 2 Timothy 3:2

Read: Luke 22:42 (KJV)

Bible In One Year: Ezekiel 16, Hebrews 12

MESSAGE:

If you take a look at the signs of these last days, you will notice that selfishness and self-centeredness play a major role. A life that is given to pleasure is a self-centered life. Are you a self-lover or a God lover? If you love God, He will be uppermost in your thoughts, deeds and plans, while everything else will be secondary. Pleasing God will be your focus and you will not mind the cost.

If you are God centered, you will want to know His will for your life in every area. In situations where you express your personal will, it will be subject to that of God. Where there is a conflict between you will and God’s will, you will yield to God’s will for your life like it happened with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane (Luke 22:39-49). Be a God love not a self-lover.

Prayer Point: Father, I yield completely to Your Spirit form today. Please have Your way in my life.

Hymn 7:

1. I am Thine 0 Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith
And be closer drawn to Thee.

Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord
To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.

3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God
I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I cannot know
Till I cross the narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I may not reach
Till I rest in peace with Thee.

The Young and The Restless Star Brenda Epperson Shares How Prayer Saved Her Family from the Wildfires

The Young and The Restless star Brenda Epperson reminding Christians of the power of prayer amid disaster.

In an interview with CBN News, the Christian actress explained that the wildfires that have ravaged her neighborhood burned everything around her except her home.

In a video Epperson posted to Facebook she showed her friends that the fires stopped right at her property line sparing their horse’s and their home.

Epperson says in a Facebook video that she continuously prayed Psalm 91 over her home so that would protect their animals and their property.

She said, “I just kept praying Psalms 91 over our home, ‘whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in his mighty shadow. I will say of the Lord he is my refuge and my God in whom I trust. Surely, he will save you from the fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand but it will not come near you.”

According to the Day Time star, neighborhood horses took refuge at their family’s farm.

She told CBN, “We could only evacuate the horses that could fit in our trailer which was three horses. And then all of our neighbors had borders so all of their horses, 25, 30, horses went in that pen. And so there were 35 horses there and the fire stopped. God stopped that fire, Wendy, right at our…

TREM Devotional 17 November 2018 – God Has Put You In Charge

Topic: God Has Put You In Charge [TREM Devotional 17 November 2018]

“And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.” Exodus 7:1 KJV

When God’s people were living in slavery in Egypt, Moses was sent to Pharaoh by God and Pharaoh became a challenge. And Moses went back to God disappointed. Then the Lord said to him: Moses the problem with you is that you are seeing Pharaoh as a god. No! Moses see, I have made you a god over Pharaoh. Therefore, see yourself as the person in charge. You are afraid because you have made Pharaoh a god. You are the god and Pharaoh is your servant. Whatever you say, that is what he will do.

Beloved, God has made you a god over your challenge. It is your responsibility, therefore, to open your mouth and command your situation. When last did you command that situation, or speak to that mountain? When last did you speak as a god to that empty meal barrel? When last did you speak to your womb? When last did you speak as a god to your financial situation? When last did you speak to your business?

Child of God, the Lord has made you a god. Open your mouth and speak to that business. God has made you a god over every Pharaoh in your life. Therefore, whether the devil likes you or not, you are making it. You will not be stranded! You will not be disappointed! You will not be frustrated! He has made you a god. No matter what the devil is doing, you will survive it. It is a setup for your celebration. Get ready; if you have been counting in thousands, you are entering your millions. If you are counting in millions, you are entering your billions. God will give you lands that you did not buy and vineyards that you didn’t plant. I declare you blessed. I bless your family with fruits. Something fresh begins in your life today in Jesus name.

Open Heaven 17 November 2018 – Arise and Eat

Open Heaven 17 November 2018 Saturday Daily Devotional by Pastor E A Adeboye – Arise and Eat

Topic: Arise and Eat (Open Heaven 17 November 2018)

Memorise: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”Psalm 27:1

Read: 1 Kings 19:4-8 (KJV)

4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baken on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again.

7 And the angel of the LORD came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

Bible in One Year: Ezekiel 11-12, Luke 22:63-23:17

Open Heaven 17 November 2018 Saturday MESSAGE:

Our God is the compassionate Father that everyone should desire to have. He is the strength of those who have no strength. Speaking about His compassionate nature, Isaiah 40:28-29 says:

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”

It is however unfortunate that we allow the devil to deceive us into thinking that our Father is not as loving and compassionate as He says He is, especially in challenging times. The devil also malign God in the areas of His commandments. We need to understand that His commandments are for our own good. When God commanded Adam not to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam did not realise that it was for his own good (Genesis 2:16-17). The devil deceived Eve into thinking that God gave this commandment out of wickedness. Even today, the devil is still in the business of attacking the integrity of God and His word through different false doctrines, but the devil is a liar. May you not fall victim to the devil’s deception that maligns God’s character in Jesus’ Name.

In today’s Bible text, we read about the travails of Elijah, a great prophet of God. While he was on the run for his dear life, he became so exhausted that he asked God to kill him! Discouragement and fatigue caused some fundamental things to go wrong in Elijah’s mindset here. First and foremost, God does not kill without a just cause. Secondly, He is not an ingrate: how could He kill a useful and effective vessel who had been fighting valiantly on His side? God will not do that. If you are in the same situation Elijah was in, the Almighty God asked me to tell you that instead of killing you, He will rather encourage you, just as He encouraged Elijah. In his state of despondency, Elijah slept off, but before he woke up, there was a cake baked on coals and a cruise of water waiting for him to eat and drink. Elijah ate and slept off again, only for God’s angel to wake him up a second time, instructing him to “arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee” (1 Kings 19:7). Our Father is so caring!

Beloved, no matter what the devil may be telling you about our Father in heaven, I stand to debunk it in the Name of our loving Saviour: it is not true. Our God is good, all the time. Believe only what the scriptures say about Him and it shall be well with you.

Open Heaven 17 November 2018 Saturday Action Point:

Pray for God’s encouragement for all missionaries suffering discouragement and despondency.

1. The Great Physician now is near,
The sympathizing Jesus;
He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,
Oh, hear the voice of Jesus!

Chorus:
Sweetest note in seraph song,
Sweetest Name on mortal tongue;
Sweetest carol ever sung,
Jesus, blessed Jesus.

2. Your many sins are all forgiv’n,
Oh, hear the voice of Jesus;
Go on your way in peace to heav’n,
And wear a crown with Jesus.

3. All glory to the dying Lamb!
I now believe in Jesus;
I love the blessed Saviour’s Name,
I love the Name of Jesus.

4. His Name dispels my guilt and fear,
No other name but Jesus;
Oh, how my soul delights to hear
The precious Name of Jesus!

Wisconsin Attorney General Faces Lawsuit from Atheist Group for Only Allowing Clergy in Chaplaincy Program

Wisconsin Attorney General Faces Lawsuit from Atheist Group for Only Allowing Clergy in Chaplaincy Program

A lawsuit has been filed against the Attorney General of Wisconsin to dispute the creation of a chaplaincy program for employees of the state Department of Justice (DOJ). Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor, the two atheist leaders of the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), were the ones to file the lawsuit. According to Barker and Gaylor, the problem with the program is that it is limited to clergy members and not secular mental health professionals.

“The DOJ chaplaincy program, premised on the conceit that only religious counseling be provided, belies the fact the number of religiously unaffiliated adults in America has grown by nearly 20 million persons in recent years, and the number continues to increase,” the lawsuit reads.

The chaplaincy program was announced in October by Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel, who stated that it offers a way to provide a support system to DOJ employees who experience traumatic situations in their work:

“The law enforcement and criminal justice profession has witnessed ever-increasing demands and potentially dangerous situations that require even temperament on the part of special agents and other employees so that they can perform their duties professionally while also addressing personal issues and challenges that may stem from such circumstances,” reads the outline of the…

1st Graders Learned Bible Verse about Loving Others, Parents Are Outraged

1st Graders Learned Bible Verse about Loving Others, Parents Are Outraged

A Texas public school teacher is being criticized for teaching her children a Bible passage that urges people to love one another.

Parents of students at Brown Primary School in Smithville, Texas, contacted the Austin American Statesman when first-grade teacher Susan Schobel posted a video on Facebook showing her leading the students in reciting Romans 12:9-10. The passage in the NIV version says, “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

Schobel wrote in the video’s caption, “Start your day with a good Bible verse and life just seems better!! This is our daily Bible verse.”

Some parents were upset.

“This is not okay,” wrote Ashley Nicole, a parent, in a letter to the school district. “I am truly shocked. I am concerned about how this is getting handled.”

Charlie Lucko, another parent, called it unconstitutional and “religious indoctrination,” according to the newspaper.

Smithville schools Superintendent Cheryl Burns told the American Statesman that the matter was handled internally.

“We are aware of it and have addressed it,” Burns said.

But many supported Schobel. The town’s local newspaper, The Smithville Times, posted a story about the controversy on its Facebook page.

“I myself had Mrs. Schobel 25 years ago, and I…

Pro-Life Politician Declares He’s a Woman to Rebut Pro-Choice Argument

Pro-Life Politician Declares He’s a Woman to Rebut Pro-Choice Argument

A pro-life male member of Australia’s Senate discovered a unique way this week to rebut a common argument by pro-choice politicians: He declared himself to be a woman.

Sen. Barry O’Sullivan had been asserting that it is wrong for pro-choicers to say pro-lifers shouldn’t protest near abortion clinics when those same pro-choicers protest at pro-life events. O’Sullivan made a motion on Monday that pro-choicers be banned from Day of the Unborn Child observations. (It failed.)

That’s when Australian Greens’ Sen. Larissa Waters told O’Sullivan that he shouldn’t speak about abortion because he’s a man.

“Senator O’Sullivan needs to get his hands and his rosaries off my ovaries and those of the 10,000 Queensland women who have an abortion each year,” Waters told the Senate, according to 9 News.

O’Sullivan, though, didn’t back down, and on Wednesday took to the floor to respond.

“These people come and attack me for my religious basis the other day, using words like rosary beads, because I had the audacity to raise issues around late-term abortions where babies that are only minutes away from getting a smack on the arse and a name are being aborted under the policies of the Australian Greens,” he said, according to BuzzFeed.

He then made his declaration.

“I’m going to declare my gender today as I can to be a woman, and then…
