MFM Daily Devotional 2 November 2018 – Divine Immunity

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 2 November 2018 By Dr. D.K Olukoya – Divine Immunity

TOPIC: Divine Immunity (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 2 November 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Daniel 3:19-22

MEMORY VERSE: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” – Isaiah 43:2

The MESSAGE:

To be immune is to be exempted. It is to have freedom or to be excused. It means safety, resistance and protection. Immunity means you are not subject to and not affected by any negative effect or circumstance. Immunity is said to be divine when it is from God; It is sacred and supernatural. Every believer has a right to be divinely immune. When you have this immunity, no attack from the enemy will be able to overcome you. Having this immunity will make you do exploits for God. Brethren, it is very important we have this divine immunity.

Beloved, with divine immunity, we are talking about exemption from evil, natural occurrences and from disasters. Just as physical immunity is to prevent sicknesses, diseases, afflictions that could cause discomfort in our lives, divine immunity is meant to prevent spiritual and physical discomfort in our lives.

When spiritual and physical discomfort are able to gain entry into our lives, evil fire will descend and consequently lead to disaster. Imagine a mother losing all her children in a day. She is said to be a victim of evil fire. A Yoruba woman in this circumstance would shout, “Ina jo mi o” meaning, “Fire has burnt me”. Sudden destruction, shedding of tears, disaster, incurable and terminal sicknesses, sorrowful situations, seeing death coming and not able to stop it, suicidal tendencies, barreness, loss of valuable properties and other similar negative effects are manifestations of evil fire.

In Daniel 3:19-21, the three Hebrew boys were thrown into the fire, but they came out untouched because the presence of God in the midst of the fire made them immune to it. The fire could not affect them in any way. Even the hair on their head was not burnt by the fire. Though, the fire was so hot that it’s flame burnt those who threw them into the furnace, yet, they were untouched.

What type of fire is burning you now? All you need to do is ask for the fire that quenches evil fire to swallow it and ask for divine immunity to prevent another occurrence in the future. Check your life to know if there is any evil ladder that may be attracting evil fire so as to effectively destroy it. Submit yourself to the Lord for total deliverance. Pray these prayers for immunity against every satanic fire assigned to burn you in the future. Divine immunity is a necessity for every believer, and it is your right to ask for it and begin to enjoy the fullness of God.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
IF YOU CANNOT CONTROL YOUR SPIRIT MAN, YOU HAVE NO SPIRITUAL DEFENCE.

PROPHETIC WORD:
You and your family members are protected with the divine envelope of fire.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Blood of Jesus, immunise me and my family against every affliction, in the name of Jesus.
2. Blood of Jesus, flow over every disaster awaiting me in the future and destroy them, in the name of Jesus.
3. Blood of Jesus, flow into my body, soul and spirit and dissolve every seed of incurable sickness in me, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Blood of Jesus, dissolve any disaster fashioned against me and my family, in the name of Jesus.
5. Accidents awaiting me in the future, assigned to make me cry, die, in Jesus’ name.
6. Power that set evil fire against my parents and made them shed tears, my life is not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.
7. By the power in the name of Jesus, I shall rejoice always, I shall not shed evil tears, in Jesus’ name.

Asian Shares Rise as Investors See Progress in Trade War – Urban Christian News

Asian shares jumped on Friday after a phone call between the U.S. and Chinese presidents raised hopes of a thaw in trade tensions, but gains were checked by signs of slowing global growth and a warning from tech giant Apple Inc on holiday sales.

MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan touched a two-and-a-half-week high and was last up 1.4 percent, adding to the previous session’s strong gains.

But that came after a sharp 10.3 percent dive in October, its worst month since August 2015.

Chinese blue-chips gained 1.7 percent, and China’s start-up board added 3 percent after President Xi Jinping promised more support for private firms.

Japan’s Nikkei stock index was 1.2 percent higher.

The cheerier mood in Asian trade followed a rise in U.S. shares overnight, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 each gaining 1.06 percent while the Nasdaq Composite rallied 1.75 percent.[.N]

A combination of bargain-hunting following steep losses in equities last month and some strong corporate earnings have helped power Wall Street’s bounce.

After the bell, though, shares of Apple tumbled about 7.0 percent after it said sales for the crucial holiday quarter could miss Wall Street expectations due to weakness in emerging markets and foreign exchange costs.

Apple suppliers in Asia largely shrugged off the news as investors hoped some progress was being made on trade. Hon Hai Precision Industry Co gained 1.5 percent, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co added 0.2 percent. Tech rival Samsung Electronics Co Ltd also rallied, rising 2 percent.

Joyce Meyer Devotional 2 November 2018 — Bridle Your Tongue

Topic: Bridle Your Tongue [Joyce Meyer Devotional 2 November 2018]

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us. — Ephesians 3:20 (AMP)

According to this scripture, the one thing proving our level of spiritual maturity isn’t how religious we are—whether we can quote Scripture, or the good works we do—it is the words from our mouths.

James 1:26 says, If anyone thinks himself to be religious (piously observant of the external duties of his faith) and does not bridle his tongue but deludes his own heart, this person’s religious service is worthless (futile, barren) (AMP).

No matter how religious you think you are, the true test proving your spirituality is whether you bridle your tongue or not. Bridle means “to restrain or control.” If we aren’t controlling our tongues, we are not operating in the level of maturity God wants us to have.

Prayer Starter: Holy Spirit, please help me with my words today. I can’t do it on my own, but with Your help, I can speak words of life and encouragement to those around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Japanese Economy Minister Opposes Steps That Artificially Manage Trade Flows – Urban Christian News

Japanese Economy Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said on Friday he was opposed to any measures that artificially manage trade flows and that he would seek a trade deal with the United States that was in Japan’s economic interests.

Motegi spoke in parliament in response to questions about whether the United States would seek a cap on the number of auto imports from Japan to lower its trade deficit.

Love The Essence Of Christianity by David Ibiyeomie

Love The Essence Of Christianity by David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Love The Essence Of Christianity

John 3:16– For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Love is the foundation of Christendom and the identity of a Christian. If you do not walk in love, there is a limit to your achievements because vision cannot work without faith and faith can also not work without love. Galatians 5:6 says: “…but faith which worketh by love”.

1 John 4:8- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

God is not faith but responds to our faith. God is Love. If God then is love, it means that if you walk in love, you walk in God and it is impossible to walk in God and not get the God kind of results. Your success and growth in life is tied to your love for God. Love must not only be preached but practiced.

Also Read: Have A Vision by David Ibiyeomie

Romans 5:8- But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God loved us while we were yet in sin. Relating without reservation with a person who has offended you is one of the proofs that you are walking in divine love. Love forgives and accommodates. Walking in love is walking in God to manifest His attributes. Love is the greatest secret for exploits.

Many say they love God but do not love people. Hear what God says in I John 4:20- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

Love for God is incomplete without love for your brother. Ceasing to love because of an offence committed against you is not a proof of love. Love is two dimensional. You must love God and the people HE has sent to be part of what you are doing. However, love is not demonstrated in words but in actions.

John 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God demonstrated His love by giving us Jesus Christ. If you truly love God, you must be a giver to both man and God. Sacrificial giving is what tests your love. You must give even when it is not convenient to prove your love. Love is what distinguishes a believer from the world because through it, we portray the nature of God.

Learn to consciously walk in love.

God bless you!

Memorise: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men:” Colossians 3:23

Read: Colossians 3:22-35 (KJV)

Bible In One Year Jeremiah 33-35, Titus 3

MESSAGE:

If the Gospel is well packaged and humbly presented to unsaved souls, the chances are that it will be easily accepted. One reason why people fail to win souls is that they take the approach of comparing which religion is superior to another. If you get involved in a debate on the superiority of a religion, you will most likely lose the soul after the debate. No religion can save. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can. Even when an unsaved soul brings up such argument, tactically avoid them and concentrate on God’s love for him/her. When you focus on God’s love and how much God has sacrificed for the sinner, including the things that He will yet do for the sinner when he/she accepts His love, it will e difficult to ignore your message. From today, present the Gospel in an acceptable manner.

There are some Christians who can sell almost anything, yet when it comes to evangelism, they pocket their marketing skills and can hardly win a soul to Christ. This is shameful! Any ability, gift, talent or knowledge is nothing but a waste. How are you using your skills today?

Prayer Point: Lord Jesus, please help me to glorify You with everything You have given me

Wonderful story of love;
Wake the immortal strain!
Angels with rapture announce it,
Shepherds with wonder receive it;
Sinner, 0 won’t you believe It?
Wonderful story of love.

Chorus:
Wonderful! Wonderful!
Wonderful, Wonderful story of love.

2. Wonderful story of love,
Though you are far away;
Wonderful story of love;
Still He doth call today;
Calling from Calvary’s mountain,
Down from the crystal bright fountain,
E’en from the dawn of creation,
Wonderful story of love.

3. Wonderful story of love:
Jesus provides a rest;
Wonderful story of love;
For all the pure and blest,
Rest in those mansions above us,

Singing the rapturous chorus,
Wonderful story of Love…

TREM Devotional 2 November 2018 – God Is Absolute In Power

Topic: God Is Absolute In Power [TREM Devotional 2 November 2018]

“Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” Jeremiah 32:17(KJV)

In the days of Jeremiah, Jerusalem was under siege, and most of the Jews were in captivity in Babylon. And then a message from the Lord came to him saying, Jeremiah don’t be in a hurry to leave this captivity because this captivity will take a long time. Therefore, you shouldn’t be in haste to leave but rather you should buy a landed property and live a normal life and bless the land.

Just put on your imagination. Jerusalem was under siege and God had declared that the city shall go into captivity. All that is on your mind is to leave and God is saying no to you instead you should buy a land. Of course, Jeremiah understood that God is sovereign and His ways are past findings. He sees the end from the beginning. The word of God came again to him and said behold I am the God of all flesh is there anything too hard for me? This same question comes to us today. God says in case you don’t know who is talking to you I am the Lord God of all flesh I can do anything

Child of God, I came to let you know that there is nothing God cannot do. There is no challenge you are facing today that He cannot handle. He will come through for you. He is the miracle working God. He is supreme in position and absolute in power. He does what He wants to do and takes no permission from anyone. Beloved, all you need do is to worship Him and ask Him to throw His weight around in your life. He will heal, deliver and set you free. He will destroy the yokes of darkness around you, your family, and your marriage. He will change your destiny. You may be going through contradiction and difficult times and have prayed and believed God to turn things around in your favour. I prophesy over you that this year will not end without your testimony.

Our Daily Bread 2 November 2018 Devotional – Catching Foxes

Topic: Catching Foxes [Our Daily Bread 2 November 2018 Devotional]

Read: Song of Solomon 2:14–17, Bible in a Year: Jeremiah 27–29; Titus 3

Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards. Song of Solomon 2:15

While talking on the phone with a friend who lives by the seaside, I expressed delight at hearing seagulls squawking. “Vile creatures,” she responded, for to her they’re a daily menace. As a Londoner, I feel the same way about foxes. I find them not cute animals but roaming creatures that leave smelly messes in their wake.

Foxes appear in the love poetry of the Song of Solomon, an Old Testament book that reveals the love between a husband and wife and, some commentators believe, between God and His people. The bride warns about little foxes, asking her bridegroom to catch them (2:15). For foxes, hungry for the vineyard’s grapes, could tear the tender plants apart. As the bride looks forward to their married life together, she doesn’t want vermin disturbing their covenant of love.

How can “foxes” disturb our relationship with God? For me, when I say “yes” to too many requests, I can become overwhelmed and unpleasant. Or when I witness relational conflict, I can be tempted to despair or anger. As I ask the Lord to limit the effect of these “foxes”—those I’ve let in through an open gate or those that have snuck in—I gain in trust of and love for God as I sense His loving presence and direction.

How about you? How can you seek God’s help from anything keeping you from Him?

Prayer: Lord God, You are powerful and You are good. Please protect my relationship with You, keeping out anything that would take my eyes off You.

God can guard our relationship with Him.

INSIGHT
Although the author is not specifically named, Song of Songs is traditionally attributed to Solomon, who is mentioned in 1:1, 5; 3:7, 9, 11; 8:11, 12 and who is referred to as “King Solomon” in 3:9–11. Therefore, this book is also called “The Song of Solomon.” Solomon composed 1,005 songs (1 Kings 4:32), but this song is deemed to be “the best”—hence the appropriate title “Solomon’s Song of Songs” (1:1). It is one of two biblical books (the other is Esther) where God isn’t mentioned explicitly. Some interpret Song of Songs as an allegory of Christ’s love for the church; others consider it to be a poem describing the romance and relationship of two passionate lovers. Rich in nature metaphors—“Your eyes are doves” (1:15); “My beloved is like a gazelle” (2:9); “The little foxes that ruin the vineyards” (v. 15)—the song celebrates sexual love and physical intimacy within the bonds of marriage (4:8–5:1). Together husband and wife wield out “the foxes” (2:15), removing anything that threatens their loving union or hurts the exclusivity of their marriage.

DCLM Daily Manna 2 November 2018 – Repentant and Pardon

Topic: Repentant and Pardon [DCLM Daily Manna 2 November 2018 Daily Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: Jonah 3:1-10 (KJV)

Key Verse: “So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them (Jonah 3:5).

MESSAGE:

God is merciful, full of compassion, loving kindness and slow to wrath. In His loving kindness, He cannot bring judgment without sending His warning first. When the warning is heeded, He cancels the impending judgment.

In today’s text, we read about Jonah’s re-commissioning, the Ninevites’ repentance and God’s reversal of divine judgment from them. Jonah, a servant of God, who had earlier attempted to abdicate the path of duty, was re-engaged by God to go and preach repentance to the people of Nineveh. Jonah repented for disappointing the Lord and accepted the re-commissioning. At his preaching, the Ninevites had a national confession of their sins from the greatest to the least of them. Consequently, God looked upon them with deep compassion.

God granted the Ninevites the wonder of divine grace, not because they fasted but, because of their contrite hearts and sincere repentance. The people of Nineveh could not have greater grace than present-day sinners and backsliders, who have the sacrificial death of, and atonement by Christ, to which they may cling for pardon upon repentance.

Nineveh was to be overthrown owing to its wickedness. It is heart-warming that all the Ninevites, including their leaders, heeded the warning and turned to God in sincere repentance. As a result, God removed the judgment earlier pronounced on them. He will remove the judgment that is coming on you, if you confess your sins, ask for forgiveness and believe on the Lord Jesus. When this is done in brokenness, contrition and humility, God will surely grant you an undeserve pardon and mercy.

Thought For The Day: Genuine repentance brings gracious pardon.

Japan Aims to Open Door Wider for Foreign Blue-Collar Workers in Controversial Shift – Urban Christian News

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s cabinet approved draft legislation on Friday to open the door to more overseas blue-collar workers in sectors grappling with labor shortages, a controversial policy shift in immigration-shy Japan.

Japan’s immigration debate is heating up even as U.S. President Donald Trump puts the topic front and center for next week’s Congressional mid-term elections.

Immigration has long been taboo as many Japanese prize ethnic homogeneity, but the reality of an ageing, shrinking population is challenging such views.

Despite misgivings in Abe’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), parliament is likely to adopt the revisions in the face of intense pressure from businesses battling the tightest labor market in decades, although opposition parties could delay.

The revised law would create two new visa categories for foreigners in sectors with labor shortages. While not spelt out, they are expected to be more than a dozen, from farming and construction to hotels and nursing care.

Justice Minister Takashi Yamashita on Thursday ruled out a numerical cap, but media said 500,000 blue-collar workers could be allowed in over time, up 40 percent from the 1.28 million foreign workers now forming about 2 percent of the workforce.

Workers in the first visa category must have a certain level of skills and Japanese language ability. They would not be allowed to bring family members for a stay of up to five years.

But those with higher skills, in the second category, could bring family and eventually get residency.

Japan has grown more accepting of foreign labor but the focus has…
