Ten Reasons We Are Starting Revitalize Network

Think about it: Churches working together joyously for the greater health of all churches.

Think about it: Churches with some level of health and resources helping churches that are struggling.

Think about it: Churches across North America, and ultimately the world, growing healthier and making a profound difference in their communities.

Those are some of the prayers I have as we begin a new non-profit venture called Revitalize Network. I am praying God will use all the churches, organizations, and individuals who come together to make this movement a reality in His power.

So, why are we starting Revitalize Network? As a starter, allow me to share ten reasons.

  1. We have hope for congregations across North American and the world. Some people may have given up on specific local churches, but we are convinced God still has a plan for them.
  2. Many healthier churches desire to help those churches that are struggling. The churches and their leaders realize, by working together, we are really being obedient to both the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.
  3. We desire to work together joyfully. The world often sees churches and believers fighting online and in their congregations. We pray that Revitalize Network will be a place of hope, unity, and joy. We pray the churches that work together in the network will be known by what they are for more than what they are against.
  4. Somewhere between 75% and 90% of all churches need some level of revitalization. The need is great. The opportunity is before…

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional 10 September 2018 – Love Never Fails

TOPIC: Love Never Fails (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries Monday, 10 September 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Luke 7:36-47

MEMORY VERSE: “Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.”1 Corinthians 13:8

The MESSAGE:

Love is a special and wonderful spiritual fruit that is enduring. The gifts of prophecy, knowledge, and tongues are vital in the body of Christ, but they will not take anyone to heaven. You may brag of spiritual gifts like the Corinthians, but the benefit does not go beyond this world. You may perform miracles, signs and wonders, but if you focus on these only, you will miss a great deal. You may speak diverse kinds of tongues that are unequalled in the congregation, but if you get carried away by this, you are already in the snare of the devil. The spiritual gifts of prophecy, power, miracles, knowledge, and tongues will cease and perish with the works you have done with them if they are done without love, because love will endure forever.

God is love and with love He created us and gave us all things. Even when Adam failed God, God’s love did not fail but continues from everlasting to everlasting. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16). When man would have been left alone to face the consequences of his sins, God’s love still made a way of escape for the fallen man. This is an example for us to follow when dealing with one another. Love is enduring and what it produces will endure. Love produces obedience of the greatest commandment. Love produces divine acceptance and approval. Love makes the Lord to be pleased with you as you love others unconditionally. When you love someone, you will trust him and will always be anticipating new joys. Faith, hope, and love go together, but it is love that energises faith and hope.

When you love God, you will not like to fail Him. When you love others, you will not hurt them. If you are unable to love others as Christ loved you, you will continually struggle with the works of the flesh and will not be an overcomer. Without love, you cannot be a candidate of heaven. There is no everlasting reward for Christian service that is not rooted in love. Jesus warned that those who fail to identify with Him in love will be denied on the Judgement Day. You may have performed miracles more than Elijah and Elisha, but if your works are not done in love, they will fail along with the spiritual gifts you exercised. May the true love of God enter your life, in Jesus’ name.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
WHEN YOU LOVE GOD, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO FAIL HIM; WHEN YOU LOVE OTHERS, YOU WILL NOT WANT TO HURT THEM.

PROPHETIC WORD:
May your spiritual gifts impact your world.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Spirit of love that never fails, enter my life now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Fountain of love, flow into my life endlessly, in the name of Jesus.
3. I refuse to walk in the flesh in my ministry and calling, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. O Lord, empower me to preach and practise true love among brethren, in the name of Jesus.
5. Agents of disunity in the church, scatter unto desolation, in the name of Jesus.
6. My heart, be renewed daily with love and kindness towards others, in the name of Jesus.
7. My labour for Christ shall not perish on the Judgement Day, in the name of Jesus.

Understanding the Covenant of Success! By David Oyedepo

Understanding the Covenant of Success! By David Oyedepo

Topic: Understanding the Covenant of Success!

Welcome to another impactful week! I hope you were blessed by last week teaching. Today, we shall focus on: Understanding the Covenant of Success!

Every one craves and celebrates success because it is the innate desire of every human being. However, from scriptures, we understand that the journey to the land of success is a covenant walk and a lack of understanding of the covenant of success will get us frustrated in the process.

First, let us recognise that no Christian can walk in outstanding success without engaging its demands. This is because God has His way and they are the highways of life. A strict and consistent compliance with His ways on our part will take us to our covenant dreamland of success. Joshua 1:8 is God’s formula for success: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. From the scripture above, God is saying that there are things we must do, if we want to make our ways prosperous. It is not what God will do for us, but what He is asking us to do in order to establish our desires. As we all know, success is not arriving at the peak overnight; it is making continuous progress. Success is not a destination, but an adventure, which is accessible to all who dare to venture. So, when everyday is a plus on the previous, we can be termed successful.

What is a Covenant? A covenant is a deal enacted by God based on well-defined terms and sealed with an oath. We recognise that the Bible is a book of covenants and engaging with every biblical covenant that is of interest to us, differentiates us from the world (Deuteronomy 28:1-13; Psalm 89:34; Matthew 6:33; Hebrews 6:13-18). Moreover, no one can stop a covenant man from arriving at his ultimate. All he needs do is to know the covenant details and to comply with them. The covenant is superior to the climate; nothing can stop the covenant from prevailing. Wherever the sun prevails, there the covenant prevails (Jeremiah 33:19-26).

How, then can we access the Covenant of Success?

Through Wisdom: It is important to recognise that in the school of success, wisdom is the principal (Proverbs 4:7). Thus, it is the baseline for a successful life! Please understand that the quality of wisdom applied determines the quality of results attained. In other words, success in life, business, family, ministry, etc, is a function of the wisdom available and the wisdom applied. Wisdom is what makes stars in any field of endeavours (Daniel 12:3). Also, we must understand that wisdom can be applied in three major ways:

Wisdom for direction (Ecclesiastes 10:9-10; Proverbs 3:13-16).

Wisdom for the use of our mouths (Ecclesiastes 10:11-13, Proverbs 12:14).

A working knowledge of our task (Ecclesiastes 10:15; Proverbs 24:3-4).

Through Discipline: Indiscipline is an enemy of success. Discipline is operating as demanded and not as convenient. It is giving our assignment all it takes to deliver it (Daniel 1:8). Outstanding success is a product of high-level discipline (1 Corinthians 10:23; 1 Corinthians 9:24-26). It takes discipline to go up and stay up. Discipline is the ladder of destiny. Thus, no unruly man ever ends up distinguished. We need to do the right thing at the right time. To wake up at anytime we wish, sleep anytime, receive visitors and talk to friends at will is not the path to success. The Bible says: Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness (Ecclesiastes 10:16-17)! In addition, direction plus instruction is what equals distinction. Instructions are the highways of distinction. To be a success, we must walk in instructions also. For instance, God made Jacob to ride upon the high places of the earth by instructions, not by inspiration (Deutero-nomy 32:9-14). Until we do what we are expected to do, God will never do a thing in our direction. Every act of God is initiated by man through compliance with His instructions.

Through Diligence: It is true that success is our birthright; but no lazy man has a future in the Kingdom. Living without working is like dying without knowing. It is written: By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through (Ecclesiastes 10:18). We can never find a successful man who is not a hard worker. If we go through the story of successful men in the world and even through Scriptures, we would find out that no man ever rose to the top who was not a proven hard worker. Every man of height and dignity in the world today and in scriptures is a notable hard worker. Also, note that it is impossible to see success without diligence. The Bible says: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Proverbs 22:29).

In summary, only working hands are blessed hands. Rise up and react violently against failure! When we fulfil our covenant obligation for success, God will back us up. Jesus, the Saviour of the whole earth said, ‘I must work.’ In another place, He said, ‘The Father worketh hitherto, and I work’ (John 9:4, 5:17). If God the Father is working and Jesus too, who are we going to resemble by being idle? Thus, you can only benefit from the covenant of success when you are born again. Are you born again? If you are not, this is an opportunity to do so. Simply say the following prayer: Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with Your precious Blood. Today, I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Thank You Jesus for saving me! Now I know I am born again!” For further reading, please get my books: Ruling your World, Exploring the Secrets of Success, Success Strategies and Success Systems. TREM 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional – You Can Only Produce What You Have

Topic: You Can Only Produce What You Have [TREM 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

“And God blessed them and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion…” Genesis 1:28 (KJV)

I always say to people, you cannot give birth to a child when you are not a woman. The fact remains that you have to have the nature of a woman in order to give birth to a child. Men don’t give birth to babies because they are not naturally endowed to do so.

That word “blessed” in the above passage signifies an empowerment; it is the release of the nature that makes it possible for you to be fruitful. Therefore, fruitfulness for any child of God is not supposed to be a struggle. This is the mentality that you must always be conscious of. You rest in the knowledge of the fact that you have the ability to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, to subdue it and to have dominion. They are all part of your package. In order words, it must work. Even if it’s not working for others, you believe and declare that it will work for you. That is true rest!

Do you know where God put Adam? He put him in the garden. A garden is not a bush, it’s an organized arrangement of trees, plants, flowers etc. God put him inside a place already organized. He put him there to dress it. Therefore, you can be working and still be resting because you already know how the story will turn out. That is the difference between a person that is toiling and another is resting.

Resting doesn’t mean resign from your job and sleep. It doesn’t mean that you should do nothing and get lazy. It simply means, in the midst of the efforts you are making, don’t ever think failure. Think success! Just know it will work; not because of your intelligence or your strategy, but because you are in Christ. Your marriage will work and your womb will have babies. All your desires, irrespective of what the enemy is saying, will materialize. No power will stop your progress. Simply rest in Him.

Our Daily Bread 10 September 2018 Devotional – How to Stand Firm

Topic: How to Stand Firm [Our Daily Bread 10 September 2018 Devotional]

Read: Jude 1:24–25, Bible in a Year: Proverbs 8–9; 2 Corinthians 3

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling. Jude 1:24

It was a cold, icy winter’s day, and my mind was focused on getting from my warm vehicle to a warm building. The next thing I knew I was on the ground, my knees turned inward and my lower legs turned outward. Nothing was broken, but I was in pain. The pain would get worse as time went by and it would be weeks before I was whole again.

Who among us hasn’t taken a spill of some sort? Wouldn’t it be nice to have something or someone to keep us on our feet all the time? While there are no guarantees of surefootedness in the physical sense, there is One who stands ready to assist us in our quest to honor Christ in this life and prepare us to stand joyfully before Him in the next.

Every day we face temptations (and even false teachings) that seek to divert us, confuse us, and entangle us. Yet, it’s not ultimately through our own efforts that we remain on our feet as we walk in this world. How assuring to know that when we hold our peace when tempted to speak angrily, to opt for honesty over deceit, to choose love over hate, or to select truth over error—we experience God’s power to keep us standing (Jude 1:24). And when we appear approved before God when Christ returns, the praise that we offer now for His sustaining grace will echo throughout eternity (v. 25).

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your constant care for our souls.

Dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne. Edward Mote

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland 10 September 2018 – His Still Small Voice

Topic: His Still Small Voice [Kenneth & Gloria Copeland 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

But the anointing which ye have received of [God] abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth. – 1 John 2:27

Have you ever noticed that you are sometimes aware of certain things even before you know what the Word says about them? That’s because the Holy Spirit is inside you teaching you the truth. He speaks into your spirit. Then your spirit relays His promptings to your mind. Suddenly, you’ll have a new thought. I need to forgive that person, you’ll think, or I need to stop saying those unkind things.

As you become more aware of the Spirit of God in your everyday affairs, you’ll be quicker to hear and obey those promptings. You’ll actually get in the habit of allowing the Spirit of Truth to reveal the will of God to you. And, believe me, that’s one habit God wants you to have!

One of the first things that the Spirit said to me when I began to listen to His promptings was, Spend more time in prayer. As I obeyed, I began to be impressed to spend at least one hour a day in prayer. After I’d begun to do that, He revealed it to me in His Word (Matthew 26:40).

Since then, I have talked with people from all over the world who are hearing the same thing. Believers everywhere are hearing the Spirit of God direct them to more prayer.

God hasn’t given the Holy Spirit to just a few special Christians. He’s given Him to all of us. And if we’ll just learn to be sensitive to His voice, He’ll guide us into all truth!

Think about how different your life would be if you knew the truth of God about every situation! Doesn’t that just make you want to listen to your spirit? Doesn’t it make you want to be on the keen edge of what God is saying?

Start tuning your ear to His still, small voice within you. Honor Him and welcome His guidance into your everyday affairs. Listen for His promptings and be quick to obey. He’s ready to speak to you.

DCLM Daily Manna 10 September 2018 – At The Lord’s Time

Topic: At The Lord’s Time [DCLM Daily Manna 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

Text: John 11:1-11 (KJV)

Key Verse: “When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby” (John 11:14).

MESSAGE:

Have you ever wondered why the popular saying, “God’s time is the best” has stood the test of time? This is due to man’s inability to discern God’s timing. Concerning His timing, it is written: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). The word of God also assures that the Lord is on top of every matter that is time-bound.

Lazarus, a man whom Jesus loved, was sick. The Lord, upon hearing this, assured those who told Him that the “sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby”. It is important to note that if the sickness was not serious, Jesus would not have calmed those who brought the news. Despite Jesus’ love for Lazarus and his sisters, He did not hurry to arrest the situation. By the time He got to Judaea, sadly, Lazarus had already died.

This study teaches us some mysteries about the Lord Jesus. First, His love is so deep that He never forgets His beloved (John 14:18). Second, He may choose to attend to our desperate situations not when we demand or expect. He does all things in His time. Third, no matter the man-made obstacles on the way, Jesus will always have His way. Fourth, all things He does are done to glorify His name.

Jesus can come into our desperate situations, however seemingly hopeless, when we build a close relationship with Him through repentance and faith in His blood for cleansing from sin. If we are His, we should please Him. And we must trust His timing and perfect judgment.

Thought For The Day: He makes everything beautiful in His time.

Seeds of Destiny 10 September 2018 – How Faith Works

Topic: How Faith Works [Seeds of Destiny 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

Scripture: For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37

Thought For The Day: Someone’s testimony is another person’s prophecy.

It has been established that faith is an essential component of the Christian life. It is one thing to know that faith is very important in life and destiny, and it is another thing to know how faith works. The understanding of how faith works is critical to the release of faith in our Christian life. Therefore, it is very important to know how faith works.

Now, how does faith work?
1. By Celebrating Faith Confirmations
The celebration of faith confirmations involves giving testimonies of what God has done, and testimonies are faith builders. For example, when God sent an Angel to tell Mary of His plan for her to give birth to Jesus Christ, Mary responded by asking the angel, ‘How can this be seeing that I know not a man?’ (Luke 1:34). The Angel gave her a testimony of what God had already done in the life of Elizabeth; he told her that Elizabeth, her cousin who was called barren, was already six months pregnant with a child. (Luke 1:35-36). And that cleared her doubt (Luke 1:38).

Beloved, testimonies are faith boosters; whatever God does for one person is clue to what He would do for another person; testimonies have reproductive capacities. Someone’s testimony is another person’s prophecy.

2. By Maintaining Faith Associations
Association brings assimilation and affects conviction. Who you walk with determines what you can believe; company affects mind-set. People who hang together think alike, the right conviction can be destroyed by the wrong association.

My counsel is, combine faith confirmations with faith associations and you will see the production of active faith in your life.

Remember this: Someone’s testimony is another person’s prophecy.

Assignments:
1. Make up your mind to share/give testimonies of God’s acts of faithfulness in your life or in the lives of other people.
2. Relate with people of solid faith and conviction.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask for the grace to relate the testimonies of Your Acts of goodness in my life to other people. Connect me to people of solid faith and conviction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Andrew Wommack 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional

Topic: Our Words Are Alive [Andrew Wommack 10 September 2018 Daily Devotional]

Mark 11:14 “And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.”

Notice that this verse says that Jesus “answered” this fig tree. The tree had not spoken to Him verbally but it communicated that it had figs by the leaves on it. It is a fact that a fig tree should have figs by the time the leaves are evident. A fig tree actually produces green figs before the leaves appear and if no figs are produced by that time, then the tree will not have any figs that year. This fig tree was professing something that it didn’t have even though it was still too early for figs.

Not only plants, but other things can communicate with us too. Circumstances can tell you that you have failed. Your body can tell you that your prayer didn’t work – the Lord didn’t heal you, etc. You need to follow Jesus’ example and answer these things with a positive statement of your faith.

What good could it do to talk to a tree or an inanimate object? God created the heavens, the earth, and everything that is in the earth, by His words (Heb. 11:3). The whole creation was made by and responds to words. Our words, when spoken in faith, release either life or death (Prov. 18:21). They also affect people, things, and circumstances. We can release the power that is in faith by our words.

Speaking God’s Word in faith brings the Holy Spirit into action. In Luke 4, when Jesus was tempted of the devil for forty days, it was the Word of God that Jesus used to defeat the enemy at His temptation. We must take advantage of God’s Word by placing it in our hearts so that the Holy Spirit may bring it forth at the appropriate time to accomplish a complete and total victory.

Speak to that mountain in your life.

Billy Graham 10 September 2018 – Dream Great Dreams

Topic: Dream Great Dreams [Billy Graham Daily Devotional 10 September 2018]

Be thou faithful unto death . . . — Revelation 2:10

In our day much of the world believes little or nothing. People are broad but shallow. Agnosticism, anxiety, emptiness, meaninglessness, have gripped much of the world—and even the church. Our youth are desperately searching for a purpose and a meaning in their lives. They are searching for fulfillment which they are not finding in sex and drugs. By contrast, our Pilgrim forebears stand as shining examples of men who were narrow but deep, certain of what they believed, unswerving in their loyalty, and passionately dedicated to the God they trusted, and for whom they would willingly have died. I say to you, more than 350 years after the Pilgrim Fathers landed in the New World: Dream great dreams, embrace great principles, renew your hope, but above all, like them, believe in the Christ who alone can give total meaning and an ultimate goal to your life. “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”

Prayer for the day: May I always be faithful to my belief in You, Lord Jesus Christ. Where there is despair, use me to bring Your hope.
