Africa is being recolonized today, though this time not with armies or arbitrary borders but through Western governments and humanitarian outfits imposing population control ideology, sexual liberation, and abortion, says Obianuju Ekeocha.

This new form of colonization is rooted in a master-slave mindset, Ekeocha stresses in her book, Target Africa: Ideological Neo-colonialism in the Twenty-First Century, which was released earlier this year and documents the nefarious funding streams and political schemes behind this injustice.

While Africa has undoubtedly struggled ever since the end of colonization with all kinds of socio-economic issues and political dysfunction, rich donors from the West have exploited those problems and have assumed the role of savior and deliverer, offering “solutions” contrary to the values of most African people, she explains in the book.

A vivacious international pro-life advocate, Ekeocha, who is Nigerian by birth and is now based in the U.K., began her investigation into this subject back in 2012 when Melinda Gates emerged with a proposal to raise $5 billion to fund contraception in Africa. Ekeocha was outraged and wrote Gates a letter explaining that she, as a Nigerian Catholic, neither needed nor wanted what she was bringing. Back in 1984, then President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month and that the third Sunday of the month is to be celebrated as National Ice Cream Day.

The plan at the time was to just have one celebration of the holiday, but the ice cream industry decided to continue observing it in the years since, according to Time and Date.com.

Reagan urged people nationwide to celebrate the holiday with “appropriate ceremonies and activities,” according to the International Dairy Foods Association.

For this year’s event, different kinds of offers are being made available to ice cream lovers all across the country.

A new study has uncovered a possible link between elevated blood pressure and a person having brain damage or even Alzheimer’s disease.

The study’s author, Dr. Zoe Arvanitakis of the Rush Alzheimer’s disease Center at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, said, “Blood pressure changes with aging and disease, so we wanted to see what kind of impact it may have on the brain,” EurekAlert reported.

In order to obtain the data needed for the study, the researchers followed 1,288 people and monitored their health until their eventual deaths.

Participants in the study, all 65 and older, were not suffering from dementia and had agreed to donate their brains for autopsy upon death at the start of the study. Among the 1,288 participants in the study were approximately 640 clergy members, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The average age at death of the participants was 89.

Blood pressure was documented on a yearly basis for the participants while they were still alive.

Upon conducting the autopsies, researchers observed that around half of the participants had dead tissue in their brain. The presence of dead tissue in the brain could be a sign that a person suffered from what is known as a “silent stroke.”
