MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional Saturday, 21 April 2018 – Healing: Your Divine Right

TOPIC — Healing: Your Divine Right (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Saturday, 21 April 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Exodus 15:22-26

MEMORY VERSE:

“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”Psalms 6:2

The MESSAGE:

“Mum, mum!!!” Sarah cried, “I am hungry, can I have some bread with peanut butter?” Sarah’s mum looked across from the kitchen table, where she was fixing dinner to her little beautiful daughter. “Of course darling, you can.”

Sarah as the child of her mum has a right to ask for bread when she is hungry. Her mum will be delighted to grant this request. Her daughter must eat.

The Scripture tells us that healing is children’s bread. Just like little Sarah, children of God have access to healing. Children of God are to walk in divine health. Sickness is not part of the salvation package. Our redemption is two-fold, Jesus not only died for our sins on the Cross of Calvary, His blood was also shed so we might live free from sickness and disease. Isaiah 53:4-5 says that Jesus bore both our sins and sicknesses. He bore the sins so that you can be reconciled to God. He bore your sickness so you can be free from sickness and diseases. If you believe Jesus bore your sins for salvation; you should believe He bore your sickness for divine health. The devil is the author of sickness. He lies to people and makes them believe sickness is form God. The Scripture says every good and perfect gift comes from God, the Father. Sickness doesn’t sound like a gift, does it? You need to understand that as Jesus paid the price for your sins and you don’t have to pay for them, He paid the price for sickness also. By His stripes you are healed.

Do not accept sickness and disease in your body. They are illegal occupants. The price has already been paid. You don’t have to pay it anymore. Jesus bore it on the cross. You don’t have to bear it. Healing is children’s bread. Are you a child of God? Then healing is yours. Take your healing in the name of Jesus, don’t be cheated.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

If the Spirit of God who raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwelleth without you, He will quicken your mortal body.

PROPHETIC WORD:

I prophesy unto you today that every dry bone in your spirit, soul and body will receive life right now.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Father, have mercy upon me, in the name of Jesus.
2. Blood of Jesus purge my roots and make me whole, in Jesus’ name.
3. Fire of the Holy Spirit, purify my blood and heal me of my infirmity, in Jesus’ name.

EVENING
4. Ancestral infirmities operational in my life, pack your load and get out, in Jesus’ name.
5. Every root of gall and wormwood, producing I’ll health in my life, dry up, in Jesus’ name.
6. Lord Jesus, heal me of my infirmities, in the name of Jesus.
7. Arrows of sickness fired into my life, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

Black Anti-Semitic DC Lawmaker Who Said ‘Jews Control the Weather’ Makes a Disastrous ‘Conciliatory’ Visit to the Holocaust Museum, Which Sees Him Defend the Nazis and Then Leave Early

A DC councilman who sparked outrage with his anti-Semitic comments about Jews controlling the weather made even more offensive remarks during a disastrous ‘conciliation’ visit to the Holocaust museum on Wednesday.

Council member Trayon White defended Nazis during the 90-minute guided tour of the museum – and then dropped off the tour early.

While viewing a photograph from 1935 of a woman surrounded by Nazi soldiers with a sign hanging from her neck that read: ‘I am a German girl and allowed myself to be defiled by a Jew,’ White asked, ‘Are they protecting her?’

‘No,’ the guide explained to White, according to the Washington Post.  She added, ‘They’re marching her through.’

‘Marching through is protecting,’ White said.

‘I think they’re humiliating her,’ the guide replied.

To make matters worse, White left early, texting Rabbi Batya Glazer, a director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, who was also in attendance, that he was expected at a meeting. However, White was seen walking around aimlessly outside of the museum.

Then, an aide of White who remained on the tour, made a shocking comment.

The guide was telling the tour about how 450,000 Polish Jews were crowded into one small area, the aide of White asked if the ghetto was similar to ‘a gated community.’

The Rabbi quickly explained to the aide: ‘Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a gated community,’ she said. ‘More like a prison.’

New York magazine writer Jonathan Chait tweeted about the visit: ‘Free advice for any pol who has to visit the Holocaust Museum to…

North Korea Says It Has Suspended Nuclear & Missile Testing & Plans to Close Test Site

North Korea said Saturday it has suspended nuclear and long-range missile tests and plans to close its nuclear test site.

The announcement came ahead of a new round of nuclear negotiations between Pyongyang, Seoul and Washington, but there was no clear indication in the North’s announcement if it would be willing to deal away its arsenal.

The North rather expressed confidence about its nuclear force, which leader Kim Jong Un declared as complete in November after a slew of weapons tests that included the underground detonation of a purported thermonuclear warhead and flight tests of three intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Some analysts believe Kim is entering the negotiations from a position of strength and is unlikely to accept a significant cut of his arsenal. South Korean and U.S. officials have said Kim is likely trying to save his broken economy from heavy sanctions,

After the announcement Saturday about testing, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted, “This is very good news for North Korea and the World” and “big progress!”

He also said he’s looking forward to his upcoming summit with Kim.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency said the country is making the move to shift its national focus and improve its economy.

The North also vowed to actively engage with regional neighbors and the international community to secure peace in the Korean Peninsula and create an “optimal international environment” to build its economy.

The announcements came days before Kim is set to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in in a border truce village for a rare summit…

DCLM Daily Manna 21 April, 2018 by Pastor Kumuyi – Go And Sin No More

Topic: Go And Sin No More [DCLM Daily Manna Saturday April 21, 2018]

Text: John 8:1-11 (KJV)

Key Verse: “When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more” (John 8:10,11).

MESSAGE:

It is easier to assume a moral high ground and accuse others of offences, than to account for your own grievous moral failings. You enthusiastically point out “the mote that is in thine brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye”. According to Jesus, this is the height of hypocrisy.

The mob that brought the woman caught in adultery was blinded to this reality. They were only consumed by their bigoted sense of justice, and misplaced attempt to entrap the Lord Jesus Christ. They rudely interrupted His teaching and gleefully announced that they caught the woman in the very act of adultery. Their warped sense of justice was on display as they sought to prosecute the woman without also arraigning her male partner. They rehearsed the Law of Moses and rightly pointed out that the sentence was death by stoning. ‘What do you say?’ they questioned Jesus. They hoped that He would contradict the law, thereby giving them reason to also accuse Him of an offence. For a while, Jesus ignored them, and continued to draw a sketch on the sand. He eventually looked up and said with the firm authority that whoever was without sin should cast the first stone at the woman. Their conscience being convicted, they all slipped away one by one, leaving the woman alone with Jesus. He then turned and inquired about her accusers. She couldn’t of course, find any of them. Jesus delivered His verdict to her: “go and sin no more”.

Jesus is in essence saying that no matter how grievous your sins are, having encountered the Saviour, He will forgive and cleanse you if you confess and forsake them all, and ask Him for pardon. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Master, and resolve to live righteously, henceforth.

Thought For The Day: To continue in sin is to heap foolishness upon rebellion.

TREM Devotional 21 April 2018 by Dr. Mike Okonkwo – You Are Not A Failure

Topic: You Are Not A Failure [TREM’s Devotional Saturday April 21, 2018]

“Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.” Deuteronomy 7:14 KJV

In life generally, people make the mistake of not separating events that happened in their lives, from who they are, and this is a major problem. There is a difference between an event and your person. Failure is an event. The fact that you failed an examination does not make you a failure. An examination is an event. You will come out of the event a success because that is who you are. God says that you are an overcomer and you are busy looking at your circumstance. The Bible says that there shall be no barren in the land, therefore you are not barren. The condition you are encountering is an event in your life. What God said concerning you will come to pass.

Whatever is not working is temporary. The story will change because God cannot lie. What they say shall not be done in your life, shall manifest. They think they will not hear from you, they will hear from you. Nations will hear from you. The deposit, investment, talents and the gifting of God in your life will set you apart among equals. Your mouth will eat the good of the land. No one will take your portion from you. You have a portion of the land. From this moment forward I speak to every adversary that has limited you, let the terror of God be upon them. Let the corners of the globe open for you.

What do you see this year? As far as your eyes can see, it shall come to pass. What do you see about yourself? What do you see about your family your job, your business and your ministry? It shall surely come to pass. Opportunities will come to you. Favour will rest upon you. Where others failed, you will succeed. Where you failed before, you will succeed. Where doors are shut, they shall be opened. The limitation is removed. It is your turn to testify. For every shame, you will receive double.

Seeds of Destiny 21 April 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Profits Of Serving God

Topic: The Profits Of Serving God [Seeds of Destiny Saturday April 21, 2018]

Scripture: I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Isaiah 45:19

Thought For The Day: If you give God your attention, He will deal with your affliction and frustration.

We were created by God to live our lives solely for Him. The major essence of life is to serve and worship God. Therefore, life is a call unto service to God.

It is, however, important to know that God does not call anyone to seek or serve Him in vain; there are profits to be gained from serving God.

Now, what are some of these benefits?
1. To be engaged in your major assignment for existence is to be energized and vitalized by God to fulfil that assignment
When you live to serve God by doing His assignment, He will in turn, energize and vitalize you to do that assignment. If a person will live to worship the Lord, he becomes a candidate for Divine energy and vitality. So, it is by fulfilling the purpose for which you were born that God will energise you to do more.

2. To serve God is to be serviced by God
To live in the service of God is to be serviced by God. The Lord promises to bless your bread and water so that you can serve Him without the distraction of sickness, poverty, etc. (Exodus 23:25). God is willing to deal with every distraction of life if a person is willing to donate himself to God in service. If you give God your attention, He will deal with your affliction and frustration.

My counsel is, make up your mind to live your life totally in the service of God and you will be serviced by God.

Remember this: If you give God your attention, He will deal with you affliction and frustration.

Assignments:
1. Give God your undivided attention in worship and service.
2. Ask God to deal with any distraction to effective service of God in your life.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask that You give me the grace to serve You with dedicated focus. Help me to donate my life to You totally, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

4 Palestinians Killed in New Gaza Border Protest

Israeli soldiers firing Friday from across a border fence killed four Palestinians, including a 15-year-old boy, and wounded more than 150 others, health officials said, as several thousand people in blockaded Gaza staged a fourth round of weekly protests on the border with Israel.

Huge black plumes of smoke from burning tires engulfed the border area. Some of the activists threw stones toward the fence or flew kites with flaming rags dangling from their tails.

The latest deaths brought to 32 the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli troops in protests since late March. More than 1,600 have been wounded by live rounds in the past three weeks, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

The rising Palestinian casualty toll signaled that Israel’s military is sticking to its open-fire rules despite international criticism of the use of lethal force against unarmed protesters. Israel says it’s defending its border, and alleges Gaza’s ruling Hamas uses protests as cover for attacks.

Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian U.N. ambassador, said in a letter to the U.N. Security Council late Friday that Israeli forces continue demonstrating the “cruelty of their occupation machine, responding to the calls of unarmed civilians for freedom and justice with brutal and lethal force.” He said one of the latest victims was a 25-year-old disabled man.

Israeli soldiers are positioned on the other side of the border fence, including snipers taking cover behind earthen berms, and none have been hurt.

Turnout for the marches has fluctuated, with the biggest showing on March 30, but Friday’s crowd…

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland Devotional 21 April 2018 – God of Your Trouble, God of Your Heart

Topic: God of Your Trouble, God of Your Heart [Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, Saturday April 21, 2018]

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. – Psalm 32:7

In this day and time, trouble seems to surround us on every side. If it’s not a failing economy, it’s a failing business, a failing marriage or failing health. Yet, in the midst of seemingly overwhelming problems, God has promised to deliver us.

Let me give you a word of advice though. If you want God to be God of your trouble, then you must let Him be God of your heart. God honors those who honor Him. So, if you’re facing some problems today, don’t just start kicking and screaming and begging Him to save you from them. Honor Him by going to His Word and doing what He says you should do.

Psalm 34 is a good place to start. It says, for example, that you should seek God (verse 4). As you seek Him, He will deliver you from the things that threaten you.

Secondly, it instructs you to cry out to the Lord. He will save you out of all your troubles (verse 6).

Next it tells you to fear the Lord. If you don’t know how to do that, verses 11-14 will tell you exactly what you need to know: You must keep from speaking evil and deceit; depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Remember, if you want God to be God of your trouble, let Him be God of your heart. When you do that, all of heaven will get involved in your deliverance—and your triumph will be guaranteed.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 34

Andrew Wommack’s Devotional 21 April 2018 – Love And Trust

Topic: Love And Trust [Andrew Wommack Saturday April 21, 2018]

Matthew 9:18, “While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.”

Text: Matthew 9:18-19

Jesus could have healed this girl by His spoken word, but He did as He was requested to do. This illustrates how the Lord ministers to us according to our faith. Jesus ministered to him at the level where his faith was and didn’t rebuke his little faith (Jas. 1:5).

There is a human faith which is limited to believing only what we can perceive through our five senses. But the supernatural, God kind of faith goes beyond what we can see, taste, hear, smell, and feel. God’s kind of faith calls those things which be not as though they already were.

We exercise faith almost daily in such things as sitting on a chair and driving a car. But our faith is no better than the object in which it is placed. If I were to sit in a chair made of cardboard, I would go crashing to the ground. Regardless of how much faith I had, my faith would fall flat because the object of my faith was faulty. Hebrews 12:2, tells us that we are to be “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” We must transfer our faith from human self reliance and independence, to reliance upon, adherence to, and trust upon Jesus Christ in all areas of our lives. Faith, in its simplest definition, is to trust, to rely, and to depend upon the resource of another. God’s Word declares that the object of our faith, Jesus Christ, can never fail or disappoint us.

Love produces faith, or is what makes faith work. We naturally trust those who we know truly love us. A revelation of God’s unconditional love for us will make faith just naturally abound in us. Are you struggling with faith? You have a deficiency in understanding how much God loves you. Let Him reveal His love to you today.

Our Daily Bread (ODB) Devotional 21 April 2018 – Anywhere

Topic: Anywhere [Our Daily Bread 21st Saturday April, 2018]

Read: Jeremiah 2:1–8; 3:14–15, Bible in a Year: 2 Samuel 12–13; Luke 16

I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me through the wilderness. Jeremiah 2:2

As I flipped through a box of my old wedding photographs, my fingers stopped at a picture of my husband and me, newly christened “Mr. and Mrs.” My dedication to him was obvious in my expression. I would go anywhere with him.

Nearly four decades later, our marriage is tightly threaded with love and a commitment that has carried us through both hard and good times. Year after year, I’ve recommitted my dedication to go anywhere with him.

In Jeremiah 2:2, God yearns for His beloved but wayward Israel, “I remember the devotion of your youth, how as a bride you loved me and followed me.” The Hebrew word for devotion conveys the highest loyalty and commitment possible. At first, Israel expressed this unwavering devotion to God, but gradually she turned away.

Despite the undeniably powerful feelings in the early stages of commitment, complacency can dull the sharp edge of love and a lack of zeal can lead to unfaithfulness. We know the importance of fighting against such a lag in our marriages. What about the fervor of our love relationship with God? Are we as devoted to Him now as we were when we first came to faith?

God faithfully allows His people to return (3:14–15). Today we can renew our vows to follow Him—anywhere.

Prayer: Dear God, help me to keep the promises I’ve made to You. I will follow You anywhere.

You don’t need to know where you’re going if you know God is leading.

Insight:

Jeremiah is sometimes known as the weeping prophet. He’s saddened by the messages God has asked him to take to the people of Israel. In essence, the Lord is asking the people of Jerusalem, “Why don’t you love me like you once did?”

Sometimes familiarity can create complacency. What can we do to keep our flame of passion for the Lord burning bright? J.R. Hudberg
