Seeds of Destiny 19 January 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Outcome Of Dedication

Seeds of Destiny 19 January 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Outcome Of Dedication

Topic: The Outcome Of Dedication [Seeds of Destiny Friday January 19th, 2018]

Scripture: And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Malachi 3:17-18

Thought For The Day: A person who follows God well must stand out in life.

When God calls someone to follow Him, it is not in vain. When a person makes a decision to follow God, that decision cannot be fruitless. Dedication to God has a prize. Being genuine with God has gains in life.

Many times, genuine Christians have been mocked by their fellows or family members who would often tell them, ‘You have been following God, what have you gained? Why are you still single, jobless and still begging despite not missing a church service?’

Beloved, there is no one who follows God that will be lost in life.

It has been confirmed that the outcome of following God is distinction in life.

A person who follows God well must stand out in life.

There was a great difference between Joseph who decided to follow God and his brothers who decided to go their own ways. Joseph stood out from his brothers. Due to his brutal dedication to God, God elevated him and he became a Prime Minister in Egypt. He was distinguished and his brothers who mocked and maltreated him bowed before him.

God proved himself in my life. I have a relative who was into womanizing, alcoholism and partying while some of us were serving God many years ago. Recently, he came to church and saw me dancing to God during a praise session and was touched. He is above fifty, yet not married. After the service, he told me, ‘You are enjoying yourself in the LORD doing for God what we wasted our lives many years ago for by dancing in disco halls, partying, womanizing and alcoholism’

The God who made Abraham, Isaac and Joseph to stand out in their generation will distinguish you in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, I decree that your life shall stand out in your generation in Jesus Name.

Remember This: A person who follows God well must stand out in life.

Assignments:

1. Make up your mind to stand out in your generation by being dedicated to God.

2. Follow God’s direction for your life regardless of what people say.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask that You give me the grace to be lost in You. Help me to stand out in life, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.

Definitive Proof God Is Moving Among Millennials

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby accused of making ‘dangerous’ George Bell comments

Sir Ian Kershaw and six other historians accused the Most Rev Justin Welby of assuming an allegation against George Bell was correct, by apologising to his alleged victim in 2015.

They also criticised the Anglican leader’s response to a review by Lord Carlisle of Berriew which found failings in how the Church of England responded to a claim the former Bishop of Chichester abused a girl – only known as Carol – during the 1950s.

Archbishop Justin stopped short of fully apologising for the Church’s response, and he pointed out that George Bell was “accused of great wickedness”.

The historians – including Charmian Brinson, Andrew Chandler, John Charmley, Michael J Hughes, Jeremy Noakes and Keith Robbins – investigated the allegation and concluded there was “no credible evidence” that Bell was guilty.

The Church of England apologised to relatives of George Bell last month after the Carlisle review concluded Church leaders had been “deficient”.

But the academies said Archbishop Justin Welby’s comments were “irresponsible and dangerous”, and damaging for the Archbishop of Canterbury’s office.

They said: “We therefore urge you, in all sincerity, to repudiate what you have said before more damage is done and thus to restore the esteem in which the high, historic office to which you have been called has been held”.

Lambeth Palace has told Premier it may respond to the historians’ letter at a later date.

Stay up to date…

Proponents of Childhood Euthanasia Argue it Should be Left up to ‘Beneficence’ of Doctors

Proponents of Childhood Euthanasia Argue it Should be Left up to ‘Beneficence’ of Doctors

Should it be legal to euthanize sick children? This is what some medical professionals are arguing for in the January 10, 2018 edition of the journal Pediatrics.

LifeNews.com reports on the shocking trend among doctors. The Pediatrics article contains viewpoints of both proponents and opponents of childhood euthanasia, but the proponents’ views appear especially concerning.

In the Netherlands, it is already legal for children ages 12 to 18 to be euthanized, given parental consent. Three of the doctors contributing to the Pediatrics article argue that the Netherlands should take away all age restrictions regarding euthanasia.

Marije Brouwer, MA, Els Maeckelberghe, Ph.D., and Eduard Verhagen, M.D., JD, Ph.D., argue that broadly legalizing euthanasia alleviates the suffering of children:

“We would advise the Minister of Health to consider removing age restrictions from both the Euthanasia Regulation and the Groningen Protocol. This would make euthanasia accessible for competent and incompetent children who suffer unbearably when there is no other way to relieve their suffering. It would show trust in mature minors, parents, and doctors to make the right decisions,” they write.

The doctors continue, arguing that the decision to euthanize should be left to the “beneficence” of physicians.

This, however, easily slips into shaky ethical…
