Zdenka Yabani, 39, bought a ticket on 8th January at Slough station, Berkshire, before climbing on to the tracks, less than a mile from the St Andrew’s Methodist Church where she lived with her husband and their two other children.
Police were called to the incident at 9.30am.
Senior Berkshire coroner Peter Bedford opened the inquest into the Mrs Yabani’s death and said: “Confirmation of her identity was given by her husband, Jude Yabani.
Mrs Yabani was born in the former Czechoslovakia and she met her husband Mr Yubani, 40, while they were students at a university in the Czech Republic.
The inquest was adjourned until 21st June.

Eric Hargan, the acting secretary of health and human services, will announce a new division within the Health and Human Services Department to support health professionals who object to providing treatments on religious grounds.
Tasked with ensuring hospitals and clinics accommodate religious beliefs, the new civil-rights division offers fresh hope for staff who do not feel able to conduct gender reassignment surgery and terminate a pregnancy.
Even before the plans were officially announced, some Christian campaigners reacted warmly to the proposals, saying they marked a welcomed shift in policy.
David Christiansen from the Christian group Family Research Council told CBN News: “Unfortunately, the prior administration narrowed their interpretation of current laws related to pro-life conscience protections…”
But pro-choice and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender groups expressed concern that the new rules would be discriminatory.
Dana Singiser from Planned Parenthood was quoted by the Seattle Times as saying: “This will impose a broad religious-refusal policy that will allow individuals and institutions to deny basic care for women and transgender people.
“We know from experience that denial of care compromises care.”

More than $200 billion has been wiped off the value of global cryptocurrencies following a massive sell-off that extended until Wednesday morning. Investors dropped their crypto-fortunes following a series of hacks and scam warnings compounded fears that regulators would crack down on the budding digital assets.
At around 7 a.m. London time on Tuesday, the total market capitalization of all global cryptocurrencies stood at $653.8 billion. This was before the massive sell-off began with the value of the top 20 cryptocurrencies being decimated. After the sell-off subsided, the market cap had plunged by Tuesday evening to a low of $450.5 billion.
The price of Bitcoin lost 16.5 percent of its value dropping to well below $10,000, plunging to as little as about $9,200, less than half from its highs a few months ago. The second most valuable crypto-coin, Ethereum, was down 20 percent while Ripple’s XRP lost 26 percent of its value.
The sell-off was reportedly triggered by worries over tighter regulation in the key markets of South Korea and China. Just last week, South Korea’s justice minister announced that his ministry is preparing a bill that would ban cryptocurrency exchanges.

Leading around 150,000 people in prayer, Francis said the fertile green fields and snow-capped mountains of Araucania were both blessed by God and cursed by man, having been the site of “grave human rights violations” during General Augusto Pinochet’s 1973-1990 dictatorship.
He said: “We offer this Mass for all those who suffered and died, and for those who daily bear the burden of those many injustices.”
Francis also referred to the more recent violence that has flared in southern Araucania as radical Mapuche factions press for the return of their lands, including a recent spate of church burnings that preceded his visit.
