We sold everything (our cars, furniture and home) in 2016 and moved our family of five into a motor home to travel the entire United States in 2017 on a tour we called the Trail Of Fire. This week, we arrived back where we started. We covered 50,000 miles, visited 47 states and connected with 80 amazing ministries.
This past month, the question I have been asked the most is “What is your biggest takeaway?”
Curious?
One thing this year has done for us…

St Helen’s Bishopsgate said a successor to former Bishop of London Richard Chartres who supports same-sex marriage would be met with “unavoidable avoidance”.
Rector William Taylor told his congregation his first question to the next Bishop of London, who is yet to be named, would be whether he’s willing “declare as sin what God calls sin”.
The leader of the St Helen’s, which regularly attracts 2,000 to its four Sunday services, said “avoidance” of believers who accept “what the Bible calls sexual immorality” is legitimate.
In a sermon, Rector William Taylor endorsed the stance Richard Chartres took on the issue, adding: “We now wait to see what the new Bishop of London’s views are.
“My first question to him or her will be: ‘Are you prepared to openly to declare as sin what God calls sin and to summon all people to repentance and to do so publicly?’
“If the answer is ‘no’ then there is an ‘unavoidable avoidance’ for us all.”
After final interviews for the new Bishop of London concluded last week, Downing Street will be asked to approve any name put forward.
Premier has approached St Helen’s Bishopsgate for a comment.

The You’re Beautiful singer told Good Morning Britain that he edited his own Wikipedia page.
“After Prince William’s wedding, I did change my Wikipedia page to say that I played the church organ at that,” he said.
“Everyone around Europe believed me, so I’m still asked in interviews ‘What was it like to play the church organ?'”
He added that he would not be singing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials.
Blunt admitted “taking the Mickey” out of his chart-topping song You’re Beautiful, saying: “I suppose at the end of the day lots of people love it…
“People, when they buy a ticket to see me, really expect to hear that song … I’m probably quite disrespectful to a lot of my supporters when I’m rude about it.
“But it’s a song that lots of people love. It’s got me on a world tour rather than a tour of north London.”
The former soldier said of life in the music industry: “You’re dealing with what’s cool and not. I’m certainly not cool and never will be and I struggled to take that side of it seriously…”
When Piers Morgan attempted to get Blunt to sing You’re Beautiful to his Good Morning Britain co-host, Susanna Reid, Blunt refused, joking: “I only mime.”

While Hatchnimals and “Star Wars” Lego toys were two of the most popular Christmas toys last year, top-rated toy stores have revealed that they will still be popular presents to children this year.
According to reports, Hatchnimals and Star Wars Lego toys will still be one of the best-selling Christmas toys this year, repeating their sales performance last year while they compete with new other toys this year. After all, these two toy brands have released their latest versions that kids and parents alike find hard to resist.
As compared to the Hatchnimals released last year, which offered around 70 creatures, the 2017 Hatchnimals come in over 100 new hybrid animals, which, more often than not, are partly birds that display disarming expressions and are inspired from the animals in Savannah, Garden, Crystal Canyon and Farm. The latest edition also features the Golden Hatchimal, which is very rare asthere are only 250 pieces.
Hatchimals are electronic stuffed toys that “hatch” from an egg, which adds to the excitement of owning the toy as the recipient does not know what animal is inside until it hatches. The new Hatchnimals can be purchased per piece or per a 12-pack egg carton and carries an average price of $60.
Retailers, such as Toys R Us, have also revealed that “Star Wars” Lego toys will remain popular this Christmas. With a new “Star Wars” movie, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” hitting the theaters this December 15, it is totally understandable why it will be the case.
However, of all the latest “Star…
