Seeds of Destiny 21 November 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche: Perversion Of Passion - The Collapse Of Destiny

Topic: Perversion Of Passion – The Collapse Of Destiny [Tuesday November 21, 2017]

Scripture: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Thought For The Day: Great potentials have turned great disasters and great mantles have ended in great mockeries, all on the table of perverted passion.

The perversion of passion entails the deployment of energy, potential, talent, time, etc. towards a wrong direction or endeavour in life.

For instance, if God anointed your voice so you could worship Him, and you are using the same voice to sing for satan in nightclubs, then you have perverted your passion.

Perverted passions have reached alarming proportions, and already causing havocs in lives and ministries. The tragedy is that, today there are pastors who were originally genuine but got their passions for God corrupted because of mammon, the god of money. They no longer preach the old rugged holiness message; they have replaced righteousness with rich-eousness, they have replaced Godliness with gold-fullness, they have replaced integrity with prosperity. They are no longer concerned with the souls of the people but the pockets of the people. What a perversion of passion!

What of the believers who have replaced their quiet time with business time? Many believers can no longer fast again; they have turned fasting time to feasting time. For others, a mobile telephone set has taken over their prayer life. What a waste of passion!

Beloved, toying with your passion for God is toying with your destiny. Great potentials have become great disasters on the frequency of perverted passion. Great mantles have ended in great mockeries, all on the table of perverted passion (e.g. Samson).

Beloved, any invitation to pervert your passion for God is an invitation to collapse your destiny; resist it.

You shall not be a victim, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember This: Great potentials have turned great disasters and great mantles have ended in great mockeries, all on the table of perverted passion.

Assignment (S)

1. Prayerfully identify any area of your life or ministry where your passion for God has suffered or is suffering perversion.

2. Disconnect from anyone or anything assisting you to pervert your passion for God.

Prayer: O LORD, disconnect me from anyone or anything that has perverted my passion for You. I make demands on Your help to renew my passion for You and to keep my passion for You always hot, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.

Joyce Meyer's Daily 21 November 2017 Devotional: What Are You Hoping For?

Topic: What Are You Hoping For? [Tuesday November 21, 2017]

Commanding the people: When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God being borne by the Levitical priests, set out from where you are and follow it. — Joshua 3:3

I have a question for you: What are you hoping for? What are you expecting in life? Are you looking for something good to happen, or are you expecting to be disappointed?

So many people are feeling hopeless these days. However, Jesus did not die for us to be hopeless. He died so that we could be full of hope.

The devil wants to steal your hope, and he will lie to you. He’ll tell you that nothing good can happen in your life or that the good things you care about won’t last. If you’re struggling with a difficult situation, he’ll tell you it will never end. But stay full of hope and remember that the devil is a liar. God can change everything!

Our Father is good, and He has good plans for your life. If you will maintain your hope, especially in the midst of troubled and uncertain times, He has promised you “double for your trouble.” So refuse to give up hope. Start expecting God to do something—something good!

Kenneth and Gloria Copeland’s Daily November 21, 2017 Devotional: Give God the Glory

Topic: Give God the Glory [Tuesday November 21, 2017]

Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. – John 15:8

There’s an old Full Gospel tradition that says God gets glory from the wonderful way His children bear pain and agony and that the world is impressed by that. What a lie! That’s simply a tool of the devil to keep God’s children in bondage.

People of the world already have all the pain and agony they want. They aren’t looking for a way into it. They are looking for a way out. They don’t care what you preach. It’s the religious people who get worried about that. The world, the sinners, are smarter than that. All they care about are the results.

That’s why they’ll come to your church when they hear people are getting healed, delivered and set free from suffering. That’s what they’re looking for, and that’s what God wants them to receive.

The Bible says that God gets glory when they see the lame walk and the blind see (Matthew 15:31). Jesus said, “Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit” (John 15:8). What is that fruit? Lives being restored and healed by the power of God.

There was a man who came to one of our healing meetings who was so far gone with cancer he had almost no energy or life about him. He didn’t even know the Lord, but he came expecting a miracle. During the miracle service, the Lord told Ken someone was being healed of cancer, in the glands, in the throat, and in the chest. When the man came up and received his healing, he said, “I left the hospital this morning with cancer and I’m healed.” He went back to the hospital that afternoon and the doctors checked and dismissed him. As a result, the man received Jesus as his Lord, and later that day he was restored to his wife from whom he’d been separated. He got born again, healed and his marriage put back together in one day!

Now that’s fruit! That brings God glory. When we minister healing and deliverance like Jesus on the earth, that brings God glory. Let’s do away with religious tradition and go with what the Word says. Let’s impress the world with Jesus and give God the glory today!

Our Daily Manna November 21, 2017: ODM devotional – Tears: Raw Materials For Triumph!

Our Daily Manna November 21, 2017: ODM devotional – Tears: Raw Materials For Triumph!

Topic — Tears: Raw Materials For Triumph! [Tuesday, November 21, 2017]

Basic Scriptures: 2 Corinthians 2:3-14

When I was a child and my grandmother died, I could not understand why my eyes were dry. But that night, as my Dad tried to lighten the mood with some tickling at bedtime, my giggles turned to tears, to my horror and belief. So it came as no surprise to learn that researchers believe that crying and laughing come from the same part of the brain. Just as laughing has health benefits (lowers blood pressure and boosts the immune system), scientist are discovering that crying has as well!

The survey carried out at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a private university in Daytona beach, Florida, U.S.A, showed that 85% of women and 73% of men reported feeling better after crying. Tears enable self-discovery. Sometimes, we don’t even know we are upset till we cry. Apart from acting as a stress reliever sometimes, tears attract help from other people. People become milder and less aggressive and they are more likely to provide support and comfort. Holding back tears of anger or grief/bitterness can be bad for our bodies. It leads to high blood pressure, heart problems and even cancer.

As 2017 ends and 2018 travel nearer, may your life be full of joy and your days with pleasure! But heaven’s emphasis to you today is that God will turn whatever situation you are in, to your good. The last word concerning your life is not with the devil but with God! Rejoice! There is a mystery in the cross as a route to the throne! There is a mystery of affliction giving birth to glory ( 2 Cor. 4:17)!

There is a mystery of pain producing power! There is a mystery of tears provoking triumph ( 2 Cor. 2:4)! You may not understand why God allows the tears, but understand this (Vs.14): God will ALWAYS cause you to triumph –even through thorns and tears! If you are patient, I see people celebrating you- soon! Yes! Very soon in Jesus Christ name! Hold on! Look up!
