Topic: Your Praise and Divine Perfection [Monday July 17, 2017]

Thought For The Day: When you thank God for His finger you will see His Hand.

I once heard a story from God’s servant, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, of a man whose car was snatched by armed robbers. Immediately they took his car away, he began to dance on the highway. People thought the incidence had driven him insane, so, they asked him “Why are you dancing?” He said, ‘I am dancing for three reasons: first, it was my car they took, not my life. For other people, they took both their cars and their lives. Second, I thank God because I am not the one who stole. Third, I dance because I have something that someone can steal.” You know, there are people who do not have what a thief can steal, except the thief would take them.

Beloved, no matter the situation of your life, you have something to thank God for. If what you have is a motorcycle, thank God for it and it will soon become a tricycle and as you thank God for the tricycle, it will become a good car.

When you appreciate God for what He has done so far in your life, He will perfect what concerns you (Psalm 138:1, 8). When you thank God for His finger, you will see His Hand.

I see a change of level in your life as you praise God, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: When you thank God for His finger you will see His Hand.

Assignment (s):

1. Identify the things God has done in your life and appreciate Him for them.

2. Confront every situation against your life by directing your heartfelt praise to God and watch God intervene for you (2Chronicles 20:21-23).

Topic: Why Are You Cast Down? [16/07/2017]

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11. Read: Psalm 42:1-10

David asked himself the above question, why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? David has been so zealous for God like Elijah, yet, his tears became his daily food, while his enemies reproached him by asking, where is the God he serves day and night? Have men ever ask you, where is the God you serve? Have they reproach the name of the Lord because of your predicament? Have they called you by the name of your problem like the woman with the issue of blood or are you ashamed to even call yourself a Christian? Hear the word of the Lord, today, the Lord will give you a new name. He shall wipe out your shame and reproach and set you in high places. In all the shame you’ve borne for His name sake, you shall receive double honour. He shall show Himself Mighty in your life. Those that laughed you to scorn shall come and celebrate victory and share in your testimony. Every years and opportunities you’ve lost, the Lord shall restore them back to you.

Trust the Lord, praise Him, rejoice evermore. These ingredients will help your cast down soul to be revived. David said, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living”. Psalm 27:13. You must believe that come what may, you will experience and enjoy all your heavenly benefits on earth. Strengthen your faith in God and chase the devil away from your life now because good awaits you.

Topic: You Are Everywhere You Go! [Sunday July 16, 2017]

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. —Corinthians 5:21

What if everywhere you went, you ran into someone you didn’t like? Wouldn’t that be terrible? Oh no, you’d think, her again. You attend a party, and you have to endure her conversation and views. You go to church, and she’s sitting right beside you. What a bummer to have to spend so much time with this person, you think.

Then it gets worse. There she is at the dinner table with you! She’s lounging by the pool; she’s even in your bed! She’s everywhere! That sounds pretty awful, but it is the exact situation you find yourself in if you don’t like yourself, because you are everywhere you go. You can’t get away from yourself, even for a second, so you are in for a sad life if you dread your own company. That much is pretty obvious.

But believe it or not, even though we can all agree that it makes no sense to live your life this way, I find that most people don’t like themselves. They may not even realize it, but some genuine soul-searching reveals the sad fact that they have rejected themselves and in some cases even hate themselves. I’ve come across a lot of people over the years, through my ministry and in day-to-day life, and I’m amazed at how few are truly at peace with themselves. Instead, they have declared war on themselves.

God wants you to love yourself, not in some wrong selfish or prideful way, but in a healthy way that truly understands how special you are to Him. As you begin to see yourself as God sees you, then not only will you love yourself, but you will have the confidence and faith to be a powerful force for good in the world.

Topic: What Limits Man [Sunday July 16, 2017]

The imagination of man is the limit of man.

Things comes to us only as we imagine them and can never be restrained from us.

“And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Gen 11:6

Imagine broadly

Envision unrealistically.

Think as if nothing can stop it from coming to pass.

God reckons with your imagination. God said He can do nothing to man’s imagination.

God respects and honors your imagination.

Topic: Lord, Trouble My Water! Stir Up My Miracle! [Sunday 16 July, 2017]

(John 5:1-9).

Vs. 4 of today’s scripture reveals: “For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whoseover then first, after the troubling of the water stepped in, was made whole of whatsover disease he had.” Note the words “CERTAIN SEASON,” it was not a regular meeting or event, maybe once or twice a year. The ODM January and July fasting programmes and two special WORLD ANOINTING SERVICES are like this pool where people from all works of life and from all over the world gather with different and diverse issues, expecting the water to be troubled (stirred) in their direction. The miracle of everyone in that pool was encapsulated in the water but it had to be STIRRED UP.

In this 14- fast or the annual 21-day fast are seasons of STIRRING UP THE WATER! I prophesy that in this July end-of-fast Anointing Service, your miracle and evidence will be stirred up for you in Jesus Christ name. Today, the WATER that is stirred up is the WORD OF GOD! Eph. 5:26 declares: “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” And 1 John 5:6 says: “This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ…………” So each time the Word of God is stirred, your miracle is being stirred. Get ready for the stirring of water on Saturday July 22nd at the last-day WORLD ANOINTING SERVICE at Manna Mountain Ogudu-Orioke, Lagos, Saturday July 22nd, 7 am.

Come with faith, and your written prayer points as I am led to lay hands on everyone present! That one WORD that will dismantle satanic roadblocks, DELAYS and barriers will be stirred up for you. It does not matter how long you have been delayed, the WORD that will destroy the root of that delay shall be stirred up in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. What you could not do, the WORD will do for you! Note that the sick man could not come in contact with the water for 38 years. He was DELAYED for 38 years! Whatever he was looking and waitin for, for 38 years, came looking for him!

I Prophesy: Whatever you are looking and waiting for all these years will look for you now by fire! Also, the rule of TURN-BY_ TURN will SCATTER! Don’t give up now! Stir up that testimony through expectation because the expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off. This is your year!

Topic: Solving the Problem [Sunday July 16, 2017]

Lord, grant us peace; for all we have and are has come from you. — Isaiah 26:12 (TLB)

Only a few years ago children were delighted at the prospect of a trip to the wharves to see the great ships come in. Today they are blasé about helicopters and jet planes. We who once marveled at the telegraph now take for granted the far greater miracle of television. Not so long ago many of the physical diseases were termed hopeless and incurable.

Today we have drugs so effective that age-old diseases are becoming rare. We have accomplished much, of that there is no doubt. But with all this progress, we have not solved the basic problem of the human race. We can build the highest buildings, the fastest ships, the longest bridges—but we still can’t govern ourselves, or live together peacefully and with equality.

Prayer for the day: In loving and being loved by You, there is all I have longed for, my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Topic: The Goodness of God [Sunday July 16, 2017]

Luke 12:5 “But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

LUKE 12:4-5

Second Timothy 1:7 says, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” First John 4:18 says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” These scriptures may look like they are contradictions to Jesus’ statement here; however, they are not.

There are two kinds of fear. The American Heritage Dictionary defines fear as “a feeling of alarm or disquiet caused by the expectation of danger, pain, disaster, or the like; terror; dread; apprehension.” It also defines fear as “extreme reverence or awe, as toward a supreme power.”

It is this reverence or awe that God’s Word teaches saints to have towards God. Hebrews 12:28 says that there is a godly fear with which we are supposed to serve God and thereby implies that there is an ungodly fear that is not acceptable in serving God.

Satan has always used this ungodly dread or terror to torment godly people. Those who have been born again should have no dread or terror of God unless they are planning to renounce their faith in Jesus as their Savior. We have a covenant that guarantees us acceptance with God (Eph. 1:6), as long as we hold fast to our profession of faith in the atoning blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

For an unbeliever, the fear of the Lord is a great deterrent from sin. However, for those of us who have received the grace of God, it is His goodness that causes us to fear him and depart from sin. His goodness is awesome!

Topic: Reconciled You in the Body of His Flesh [Sunday July 16, 2017]

“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreprovable in His sight.” – Colossians 1:21-22 (KJV)

From the above text, you will see that not only did Jesus save you from sin; He has reconciled you in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, unblameable and unreprovable in God’s sight. This isn’t something God is trying to do or going to do; He has already done it through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So this isn’t a promise; it is a statement of fact! You have been reconciled with the Father and the latter part of the scripture clearly reveals to you the reason for the reconciliation: to present you holy, blameless and without reproach in God’s sight.

Child of God, it doesn’t matter what anybody thinks about you! God says you are holy, faultless and irreproachable. That is who you are to Him. That is how He’s presented you to Himself in Christ Jesus – holy and free of all accusations. This is where your audacity of faith comes from. This is the reason we’re bold as Believers to make demands on His name, decree a thing and see it come to pass. It is because our righteousness is of Him. It isn’t because of what you did or didn’t do. No! It’s because of what Jesus did.

You are free from all accusations. You can no longer be held bound by sin, guilt, and condemnation because God has reconciled you to Himself through the shed blood of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. I encourage you to stand before the mirror of God which is His word and see that you are faultless. Look into the word and see that you are justified, free, discharged, acquitted, no appeal and case closed.

Topic: Our Great Deliverer [Sunday July 16, 2017]

Text: Judges 3:12-31

Key Verse: “But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded…” (Judges 3:15)

The death of Joshua brought about an entirely new situation in Jewish history and life. For the first time, the Jewish people were independent in their own homeland. Moses and Joshua were each the General, Prime Minister and Chief Rabbi, all rolled into one. After their death and the expiration of that generation, there arose another generation which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which He had done for Israel.

The new generation of Israel forgot the God of their fathers and followed other gods and served Baal and Ashtaroth, the gods of the people that were round about them. God was angry with them and delivered them into the hands of spoilers and their enemies. They were greatly distressed. In spite of their backsliding, when they cried unto the Lord, He raised up judges who delivered them from their oppressors. Ehud was the second judge that God raised to deliver Israel.

He was left-handed and this gift aided his plot to kill Eglon, king of Moab, who was oppressing Israel at that time. The Lord delivered Moab into the hand of Israel and Moab was subdued. Israel had rest for 80 years thereafter. God always comes to the rescue of His children in times of distress. Whatever the depth of one’s backsliding or trouble, it is wise to call upon Him. He will surely answer. But know that sin will hinder one’s deliverance (Isaiah 59:2).

The solution to the sin problem is salvation in Christ Jesus (1 Peter 3:18). Christ is the only atonement, the divine appeasement that heaven acknowledges. He is the key to God’s forgiveness. In Christ alone lies the hope of freedom from the bondage of sin, sickness, affliction and oppressions. Sin is slavery; but God’s forgiveness through Christ’s atonement is true freedom from sin and its consequences.

Thought for the day: Salvation is free, but stewardship is costly.
