Caitlyn Jenner Defends Conservatives, Slams Hillary Clinton: ‘She Couldn’t Care Less About Women’

Christian Post Report – Caitlyn Jenner arrives at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, February 28, 2016.

Controversial transgender star Caitlyn Jenner defended conservative political principles and bashed Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton during the premier episode of the second season of E!’s reality show “I Am Cait,” despite her friends’ attempts to get her to embrace liberal views.

The 66-year-old olympic gold medalist formerly known as Bruce Jenner didn’t hold back from letting her negative opinion of the former Secretary of State be known in the newest episode of “I Am Cait” released this week.

The Daily Mail reports that during a conversation with transgender friends who were planning on attending a Clinton rally, Jenner told her friends that the Clinton rally was the “last place” she wanted to be.

Jenner’s friends then challenged her to be more open to hearing both sides of the political spectrum. Although Jenner agreed that if Hillary is president it would be imperative to have her “on our side,” she argued that Clinton wouldn’t be on their side because she only cares about herself.

“We need both sides and if we are unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side,” Jenner said. “She won’t be. She can care less about women. She cares about herself.”

Jenner also got into a bit of a heated political argument with her transgender friends when they were on a tour bus discussing how a Houston LGBT rights ordinance got overturned by voters through a referendum last November.

All of Jenner’s transgender friends were upset that the HERO ordinance was overturned by the public.

Considering the ordinance allowed for transgender individuals to legally use bathrooms affiliated with the sex with which they identify, Jenner’s friend, Jenny Boylan, blamed conservatives for painting a negative picture of the law by creating the campaign slogan, “No men in women’s bathrooms.”

“I am all for that too. Its how you define men and women. I don’t think it was presented well to the public,” Jenner said. “This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is a humanity issue.”

Jenner’s friends bashed Republicans and conservatives for not standing up for the rights of the LGBT community in the manner that the Democratic Party does.

Jenner responded by saying that Republicans and conservatives care more about the economy and added that transgender and gay issues are not a priority for them.

“For the Republicans it’s not a big issue. The economy is the big issue,” Jenner said. “They are just worried about $18 trillion in debt. Those are all much bigger issues.”

Boylan, however, accused some Republicans of using the fear of the LGBT community to drive more conservatives to the polls.

“Republicans, I don’t feel like are out to get us. Every conservative guy out there believes in everybody’s rights,” Jenner asserted, followed by disagreement from her friends. “Republicans and conservatives are not these horrible people that are trying to oppress people.”

Jenner told the “I Am Cait” viewers that although her friends believe that she must now be liberal because she is a transgender, she will never let go of her conservatism.

“Sometimes these girls think that now that I have transitioned that everything has to change. You can’t be conservative anymore, you have to be a liberal,” Jenner stated. “I don’t believe that. I think I can keep all of my views the same because I feel in my heart that is the best way to go.”

The first episode of the second season of “I Am Cait” aired after Jenner made headlines last week for voicing support for Republican presidential candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who is arguably the most conservative candidate in the presidential race. Jenner also stated that she would be willing to serve as Cruz’s “trans ambassador.”

“I think he’s very conservative, and a great constitutionalist, and a very articulate man,” Jenner said in an interview with The Advocate. “I haven’t endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.”

“The Democrats are better when it comes to these types of social issues — I understand that,” Jenner added. “Number one, if we don’t have a country, we don’t have trans issues. We need jobs. We need a vibrant economy. I want every trans person to have a job. With $19 trillion in debt and it keeps going up, we’re spending money we don’t have.”

Archaeological Discovery: Two ‘Rare’ Seals From First Temple Period Discovered in Jerusalem

Christian Post Report – Yoli Shwartz, spokesperson for the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), wears an ancient seal ring typical of Egyptian culture, discovered during an archaeological excavation in a cave in southern Israel, at the Rockefeller Archaeological Museum in Jerusalem April 1, 2015. A statement from the IAA said artifacts found in the cave attest to the existence of an Egyptian administrative center in the region 3,400 years ago.

Israeli archaeologists have discovered two “rare” seals dating back to the First Temple period in what is now a parking lot in Jerusalem.

The two seals were found in the Giv’ati parking lot in Jerusalem’s City of David earlier this month, the Israel Antiquities Authority has confirmed.

What makes the two seals so rare is their date from the First Temple era, as well as the fact that one of the seals belonged to a woman named Elihana bat Gael.

Gael’s seal, discovered in a large stone structure in the parking lot, describes the Hebrew woman as being “exceptional.” The second seal belongs to a man named Sa’aryahu ben Shabenyahu.

“Finding seals that bear names from the time of the First Temple is hardly a commonplace occurrence, and finding a seal that belonged to a woman is an even rarer phenomenon,” the excavators behind the Giv-ati project said in a press release from the Israel Antiquities Authority.

According to Breaking News Israel, the seals were discovered embedded in large stone pillars that likely made up an administrative building during the First Temple period.

The archaeologists behind the dig, including Dr. Doron Ben-Ami, Yana Tchekhanovets and Salome Cohen, added in the IAA press release that the seals were likely worn as rings and used for signing documents.

“Personal seals, such as those of Elihana and Sa’aryahu, were used for signing documents, and were frequently inlaid as part of a ring that was worn by the owner. In antiquity they designated the identity, genealogy and status of the owner of the seal,” the directors said.

Archaeologists report that the finding is especially rare because the seal belonged to a woman. Very few women during the First Temple period possessed seals due to their low economic status and dependency on their husbands or fathers for financial support.

The fact that this recently-discovered seal bore the name of Elihana bat Gael, the effeminate form of the Bible’s “Eli,” proves that the woman had an exceptionally high social standing that likely stemmed from her family’s wealth, rather than her husband’s.

There have been numerous archaeological discoveries in Jerusalem dating back to the First Temple period.

The Israel Antiquities Authority announced in September 2012 that archaeologists had unearthed a large cistern next to the Temple Mount that shed light on how the city used public water 2,500 years ago.

Archaeologist Tsvika Tsuk of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority said in an Israel Antiquities Authority press release that the cistern likely served water to the temple, as well as pilgrims.

“It is possible that the large cistern found next to the Temple Mount was used in the daily operation of the Temple itself, and also served the pilgrims who came to the Temple and needed water for washing and drinking,” Tsuk said.

The discovery of the man-made reservoir, which held 250 cubic meters of liquid, also proved that the people of the First Temple period did not rely solely on the nearby Gihon Spring for their water supply, but rather had enough construction knowledge to build their own pool.

‘Hillary’s America’: Dinesh D’Souza Releases Dramatic Trailer for New Film

Christian Post Report – Conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza in a scene from the film “Hillary’s America.”

Conservative author and filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza released a trailer for his upcoming dramatic documentary film, “Hillary’s America.”

Posted to YouTube by D’Souza on March 5, the roughly 3-minute video includes melodramatic historical reenactments, intense instrumental music, and clips from interviews.

The central theme of the film is an examination of the darker parts of the history of the Democratic Party, going back at least as far as the early 19th century.

There appears to be a strong focus on racism, such as the Democratic Party’s history of support for slavery and segregation.

“Who are these Democrats?” asks D’Souza in the video. “It’s time to go behind the curtain and discover the soul of the Democratic Party.”

While a historical survey, D’Souza’s film clearly looks to argue that Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton should not be elected president.

A scene from the trailer for the Dinesh D’Souza film “Hillary’s America.”

This is not the first time that D’Souza has attempted to influence the results of a presidential election with a documentary.

In 2012, D’Souza released the film “2016: Obama’s America,” which argued that President Barack Obama’s worldview was crafted by overseas anti-colonial ideology and if re-elected, the application of this ideology would harm America.

While the film was commercially successful, it failed to prevent Obama from securing a second term that November.

“2016: Obama’s America” was criticized by many on the Left, including Richard Brody, film critic for the New Yorker, who called it “a work of propaganda that offers base innuendo in lieu of argument.” Posted Saturday, the trailer for “Hillary’s America” has already gotten as of Tuesday afternoon over 430,000 views and more than 2,400 likes. Produced by Gerald R. Molen, who also helped produce “Jurassic Park” and “Schindler’s List,” “Hillary’s America” is slated for release in July.

Viral Virgin Brelyn Bowman Talks Purity Backlash From Christians, New Book ‘No Ring, No Ting’ (Interview)

Christian Post Report – Tim Bowman Jr. married wife and author Brelyn Bowman on October 10, 2015.

Brelyn Bowman says she wasn’t surprised that people in the secular world disapproved of her posting a gynecologist’s purity certificate on social media after her wedding day last year. But she was shocked by the backlash that came from Christians.

The 23-year-old wife of gospel singer Tim Bowman Jr. says she made the decision to honor God by abstaining from sex until her wedding day. Soon after she proudly announced to the world on Instagram that she had remained a virgin until her wedding day by showing the certificate she presented to her father, a number of Christians responded in anger.

Bowman told The Christian Post that she was mostly surprised that many of those who left negative comments about her decision to show her father the results of her gynocological exam that revealed she was still a virgin before her wedding day identified as Christians.

“That’s what I couldn’t understand. So it was kind of like, why do we, as Christians, bash one another instead of protect one another and spread the message of God to those who may not understand?” she questioned.

“It’s OK for a girl who gets pregnant out of wedlock to say ‘OK, I’m pregnant’ and we celebrate the baby. But it’s not OK to say ‘Hey, I’m a virgin.'” she asserted. “Maybe the certificate wasn’t right, but neither was her getting pregnant. We still celebrate the baby.”

Tim Bowman Jr. and his wife Brelyn Bowman wed on October 10, 2015.

The daughter of Pastor Mike Freeman from the Spirit of Faith Christian Center in Maryland, presented the certificate to prove that her “hymen was intact” after watching her sister do the same seven years prior. While the act was met with its fair share of negativity, Bowman wants people to focus more on the idea behind the action.

“Let’s forget the certificate as Christians and let’s get to the meat of the story. If we can get people to see what I have accomplished, we can move forward in Christ and show others how we’re supposed to live as singles in this process,” she wrote. “I think a lot of people got stuck on ‘that’s too much information.'”

No Ring No Ting(Photo: Brelyn Bowman)Brelyn Bowman’s new book, “No Ring No Ting,” released on February 10, 2016.

At the age of 13, the preacher’s daughter, gospel singer’s wife and author took a vow of celibacy. After the idea of her purity certificate caught national attention, Bowman realized that she has been given a platform to inspire Christian singles to become whole in Christ.

With that comes her third book, No Ring, No Ting which expounds on the principles for purity that she has shared in previous books.

“I feel like sometimes people don’t want to hear you until you have the fruit to prove the life that you want to say,” she said of the book. “I think it was just the perfect timing to share that I did this, have benefits to prove it, and can help you the same way I’ve accomplished this as well.”

Even though she wrote her book from the perspective of a virgin, the author insists her literary work does not condemn people who have engaged in sexual activity before marriage. Instead, the book seeks to empower people in Christ.

“My story is really to push and encourage others. A lot of people aren’t virgins and missed that mark,” she told CP. “That doesn’t mean God doesn’t love them; that doesn’t mean that He’s going to condemn them. It means they can start a new life, start over and be healed from soul ties, unforgiveness, bitterness, and all that stuff.”

In No Ring No Ting Bowman gives readers a glimpse of of her personal journey in purity. As a virgin who married a virgin, she wants to encourage people to date someone who shares their values.

“There’s a chapter in the book about dating with purpose and not pressure,” she said. “You can literally have someone that’s on the same path as you or the same track as you and really have a good life with someone that could make you feel happy.”

While it is easier to find overtly sexual content in the world of entertainment, more celebrities are speaking up about taking vows of celibacy similar to Bowman, and she does not believe this is just a coincidence.

“God clearly orchestrates the move of all of our lives perfectly. Even the world is looking for something different because you have the artists all over with the butts all over their covers,” she said. “Sex sells everywhere and I think it’s just a few people who have been doing it and it’s like, ‘OK, enough is enough.’ We have to do something as a Christian community.”

While Bowman is doing her part by empowering single Christians, she understands that the journey is not easy. She is not ashamed to admit having to overcome her fair share of struggles not to break her vow of celibacy as a single Christian woman.

“I think a lot of single Christian women are so desperate to be with somebody that they start off so strong, and when a guy doesn’t want to wait anymore they fall in. We hear that all the time. It’s like, ‘I’m committed, I’m not going to do anything,'” she said. “And the guy is like, ‘I heard this 10 million times.’ So I believe if we can just build an army of women who know their value and know whose they are, we can make an impact across the world.”

“What I learned is that whatever you focus on will expand. All the time you’re focusing on getting married, then comes loneliness, bitterness, hatred toward God or hatred of people getting married,” she said. “The moment I decided to really say ‘OK, I’m done trying to please guys; I’m done trying to say I need to be with somebody, I think that’s really the moment where God says ‘You’re about to be ready.'”

Peyton Manning Ends Retirement Speech Quoting Timothy 4:7: ‘I’ve Finished My Football Race’

Christian Post Report – Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning reacts during his retirement announcement press conference at the UCHealth Training Center, Englewood, Colorado, March 7, 2016.

Two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Peyton Manning officially announced the end of his 18-year NFL career on Monday with a heartfelt retirement speech in which he concluded by referencing a passage from scripture and asking God to bless the game he loves so much.

Manning, who has never been very expressive of his Christian faith on the football field, did not hide from his faith during his remarks at the retirement news conference hosted by the Denver Broncos.

As Manning has accomplished just about every accolade imaginable for a quarterback, broken a number of all-time records and can end his career as a reigning Super Bowl champion, Manning ended his speech by quoting Timothy 4:7 to explain to his fans and supporters that he has “fought the good fight” and has “finished the race.”

“There’s a scripture reading, 2 Timothy 4:7: I have fought the good fight and I have finished the race. I have kept the faith,” Manning said during his speech. “Well, I’ve fought a good fight. I’ve finished my football race and after 18 years, it’s time. God bless all of you and God bless football.”

Although Manning’s football career is now over, the 39-year-old New Orleans native assured that God has other plans for him in his life.

“I’m totally convinced that the end of my football career is just the beginning of something I haven’t even discovered yet,” Manning said earlier in the speech. “Life is not shrinking for me, it’s morphing into a whole new world of possibilities.”

Even though Manning is ready to advance to the next phase in his life, he said he will undoubtedly miss the joy and many blessings the game of football has provided him throughout for most of his life.

“I’ll miss that handshake with Tom Brady and I’ll miss the plane rides after a big win with 53 teammates standing in the aisles, laughing and celebrating during the whole flight,” Manning detailed. “I’ll miss playing in front of so many great fans both at home and on the road. I’ll even miss the Patriots fans in Foxborough, and they should miss me because they sure did get a lot of wins off of me.”

“And this is important, football fans everywhere need to know how much they mean to me over the years,” Manning continued. “Fans, you’re at the core of what makes this game remarkable. I’ve received more letters from you than I can count. Fan letters that have touched me, made me think, laugh and moved me to act.”

Manning added that the game of football taught him to appreciate the little things in life.

“When someone thoroughly exhausts an experience they can’t help but revere it. I revere football. I love the game. So you don’t have to wonder if I’ll miss it. Absolutely. Absolutely I will,” Manning said. “Our children are small now, but as they grow up, we’re going to teach them to enjoy the little things in life because one day they will look back and discover that those really were the big things.

“So here are the seemingly little things that when I look into my rearview mirror, have grown much bigger,” Manning added.

Rob Bell Slams Pastors He Accuses of Exploiting Sermons to ‘Build Bigger Buildings’

Christian Post Report – Author and former megachurch pastor Rob Bell speaks with Oprah Winfrey on “Super Soul Sunday” on OWN during a Nov. 3, 2013, broadcast.

Rob Bell, the best-selling author and former founder and pastor of Michigan-based Mars Hill Bible Church, who stirred controversy with his acceptance of gay marriage, is speaking out against pastors he accuses of exploiting sermons in order to “build bigger buildings.”

Bell says since he’s no longer pastoring a church, he has the “extraordinary” freedom to evangelize without the responsibilities of running a church getting “in the way.”

During an interview with Relevant magazine last week, Bell blasted pastors he accuses of misusing sermons, arguing the art of the sermon has been hijacked in some churches.

“For many people the sermon is how you build bigger buildings … what you do in order to get people to give money to build something bigger. For other people the sermon is a belief affirmation device — you just keep telling people what they’ve heard every Sunday their whole life, and then everybody feels good.”

The ex-Mars Hill pastor says the sermon is really about “the sacred disruption,” using Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s I Have a Dream speech as an example, and describing the speech as an “event” and a “vision.”

He added that sermons shouldn’t be confined to churches. “I don’t believe this art form should be confined to a particular building on a Sunday morning or evening. I think it should compete with all other art forms. So that’s what I’ve tried to do.”

Bell explained that he has set out to reclaim the sermon, sharing the “death and resurrection mystery” of Christ outside of the four walls of the local church. “I have to see how far you can take it. It’s just been unbelievably exciting.”

“When you don’t have that [managing a church] on your shoulder[s], then it’s just you and the person. It’s just you and them. … It’s been very interesting to me because I get endless moments when I am doing the thing that people would say would be pastoring, but there’s nothing in the way … it’s pretty extraordinary.”

The author and speaker has also joined forces with Oprah Winfrey and teaches an e-course through Winfrey’s Life Class.

“For many people, being a pastor also means you’re running an organization. You’re running an institution … how much time do you spend just overseeing the management and execution of the tasks of the institution? Actually, day in and day out, the preservation of the institution becomes paramount.”

RIck Warren: Christians Need Grace, Not Good Works, to Get Into Heaven

Christian Post Report – Pastor Rick Warren delivers the final message to Mars Hill congregation.

The only way for Christians to get into Heaven is through God’s grace, Pastor Rick Warren explains in a message posted on his Daily Hope website Monday.

While some Christians might think good works or dedication to their faith guarantees automatic entry into the afterlife, Warren argues that no person has “a chance of getting into Heaven by [their] own effort.”

“You’ll never be good enough to get into a perfect place. You stopped being perfect a long time ago,” Warren, who is the senior pastor of Saddleback Church in Orange County, California, adds.

The megachurch pastor goes on to say that the requirement of grace is what sets Christianity apart from all other religions.

Warren writes that while “you can summarize every other religion with the word ‘do,'” Christians are different in that they do not have to “earn their way” to God.

“The Bible gives an opposite plan. The Bible says you get into Heaven by accepting what has already been done for you — that Jesus died on the cross 2,000 years ago for you,” Warren explains, adding, “everything that needs to be done has already been done. Jesus did everything. It’s a free gift.”

“Your only part in salvation is simply to accept that it was done for you. That’s grace. And it’s God’s gift to you,” the pastor continues. “You may be given a Rolls Royce someday. You may be given a million dollars. But there’s no greater gift than the grace of God.”

Warren echoed a similar sentiment during an August devotional, calling on Christians to accept God’s grace.

“If you went home today and found a gift on your table, but you left it there for the next year, unopened, that would be pretty dumb. A gift is worthless unless you accept it. You must accept God’s grace through his Son, Jesus Christ,” the megachurch pastor wrote.

While Christians are rewarded infinite gifts when they accept God’s grace, they must take the first step and trust in God, giving up their past doubts and mistrust caused by painful relationships and rejection.

“There is one person who will never reject you, and his name is Jesus Christ. He’s saying to you, ‘Come home.’ Have you been secretly overwhelmed by that shame in your life? You can get rid of it today,” Warren emphasized. “The more you understand the grace of God, the more you fall in love with God and the more you want to draw closer to Jesus — because it’s almost impossible to not love somebody who loves you that much.”

Warren again referenced Jesus’ eternal gift of salvation in an April 2015 post, saying “Jesus Christ is the only way for you to get into Heaven because he paid the price of admission. On the cross, he paid for your sins.”

“Grace is free, no doubt about that. But it is not cheap. It cost Jesus Christ his life,” Warren continued, adding that grace is all-forgiving. Grace says, ‘You’re forgiven. Here’s how to get back on track. Let’s get going in the right direction.'”

Husband of Muslim Nanny Who Beheaded 4-Y-O Girl Arrested, Suspected of Radicalizing Wife With Islamic Law

Christian Post Report – Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, a nanny suspected of murdering a child in her care, yawns inside a defendants’ cage as she attends a court hearing in Moscow, Russia, March 2, 2016.

The husband of the Muslim nanny who beheaded a 4-year-old girl in Moscow last month has reportedly been arrested in Tajikistan, and is suspected of radicalizing his wife and teaching her to follow Shariah law.

The couple’s eldest son told authorities that 48-year-old Mamur Dzhurakulov married the nanny, Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, in a Shariah ceremony, which sparked a dramatic transformation in her, reported the MailOnline.

Bobokulova admitted last week of beheading Anastasia Meshcheryakova, the 4-year-old girl she was watching over in Moscow, burning the apartment of the parents who had entrusted her with their child, and parading the child’s severed head outside a metro station.

The woman, who is under arrest in Moscow and is being evaluated for psychiatric problems, has claimed that Allah “ordered” her to carry out the murder, and has said she wanted to avenge Muslims being killed by Russian airstrikes in Syria.

“I took revenge against those who spilled blood,” she told reporters outside of court. “[Vladimir] Putin spilled blood, planes carried out bombings. Why are Muslims being killed? They also want to live.”

The Kremlin has dismissed her remarks as “insane,” however, pointing out that she likely has mental issues.

In other chilling remarks, the mother of three said she doesn’t need her children alive.

“You can kill them, I do not need them. They do not read the Quran,” Bobokulova reportedly said.

Her family back home in Uzbekistan have said they do not know why she carried out such a crime, with her father revealing she never even mentioned religion to him.

Clues might lie with her husband, Dzhurakulov, whom she reportedly met in March 2014. Tajik police are expected to question the man about whether he exploited his wife’s mental state to encourage her to murder the child.

Rakhmatillo Ashurov, the couple’s 19-year-old son, said that his mother greatly changed following the marriage.

“Since that time, I noticed that my mother changed,” Ashurov told officials.

“During phone calls she started regularly telling me to pray five times a day, and to live in line with Shariah law as it is an obligation of every Muslim,” he added.

Bobokulova previously told reporters she planned to go to Syria but could not afford it, and Ashurov confirmed that his mother tried to make him to come with her.

“She told me that she wanted to do the Hajj and move to Syria because she would be able to wear a hijab, live in line with Shariah law, study Islamic law,” the son revealed.

“Once I’d trained in a militant camp, I could become a mujahedin fighter and do jihad. Mamur could go to Syria with us if he was able to,” he said, adding that he bluntly refused the offer.
