Dixon, 24, proposed to Annie Coggeshall, 27, at Disney World in Florida last September and the happy couple took to social media on the big day to share photos of their weekend reception.
With the hashtag #Coltannwedding several photos of the bride and groom can be seen, such as one featuring the two wearing Mickey and Minnie hats. To top it off, at the end of the celebration the Dixons rode off into the night in a Cinderella-inspired horse and carriage.
The young star live tweeted throughout the special day, giving fans a glimpse into how he felt before, during and after.
“Sitting in the groom’s room getting ready for one of the biggest and best decisions of my life. Love you @AnnieCog,” he wrote before the ceremony.
The next day he wrote, “Married my best friend last night. I love you @anniecog. What a great night with family and friends!”
Dixon wasn’t able to keep his composure during the marriage ceremony and reception, according to his twitter page, where he shared that he cried more than four times throughout the night.
“She was glowing and it was unbelievable how beautiful she was. I absolutely lost it. Audible tears. And I’m not a good-looking crier either!” he told People magazine.
Coggeshall was equally excited, posting a bunch of her own photos.
“I’m marrying him today,” she wrote on Instagram the day of. “It has been a busy couple of weeks! There has been much to do but through all of it the love people have shown us is remarkable. We have the best people alongside us for the beginning of this new chapter.”
In an after the wedding photo, Coggeshall revealed that the newlyweds are now celebrating their honeymoon in Tahiti. To see photos of the illustrious wedding, search #Coltannwedding.

(Photo: Reuters/Paul Drinkwater/NBC Universal/Handout)Christian Post Report – Ricky Gervais hosts the 73rd Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, California, January 10, 2016.
The Golden Globes awards show in Beverly Hills, California, aired Sunday night and many of Hollywood’s most famous faces came together to honor the television and film industries’ favorite performances of 2015.
Returning for the fourth time as host was British comedian Ricky Gervais, who not only included the film “Spotlight” and the Catholic Church in his opening monologue, but also spoke candidly about being an atheist during media interviews ahead the awards show.
In an interview with the The Hollywood Reporter published last week, the self-proclaimed atheist spoke about past controversies he created while hosting the Golden Globes, such as making a joke about Scientology in which he said: “if you can’t make fun of religion, what can you make fun of?”
“I don’t think what Scientology believes is any weirder than any other belief in a magical sky wizard or deity,” He continued.
The 54-year-old maintained that his comedy is fair game and no religion is spared. “I wasn’t even picking on them. I wasn’t trying to bring anyone down, I wasn’t trying to undermine the moral fabric of America. I was making jokes,” he defended.
Gervais, in his normal crude humor, made digs at several attendees but his sole mention about any particular religion was directed at the Catholic Church the critically-acclaimed movie “Spotlight.”
“The Catholic Church are furious about the film, as it exposes the fact that 5 percent of all their priests have repeatedly molested children and been allowed to continue to work without punishment. Roman Polanski called it the best date movie ever,” he said in his opening monologue.
In the past, Gervais has openly talked about his stance on Christianity and why he particularly likes to poke fun at Christians. In 2013 the actor penned an article for Wired magazine titled, “Why I’m a good Christian.” In the article he asserts that even though he doesn’t believe Jesus is God, he thinks he’s a good “Christian compared to a lot of Christians.”

(Photo: Amber Searls/USA Today Sports)Christian Post Report – Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III (10) looks on prior to the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, September 3, 2015.
After the Washington Redskins were eliminated from the NFL playoffs thanks to a 35-18 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, controversial Christian quarterback Robert Griffin III cleaned out his locker at Redskins Park, likely for the last time, on Monday and left behind a farewell note for the team.
Although Griffin’s career with the Redskins got off to a hot start as he led Washington to the playoffs and an NFC East division championship in 2012, injuries and poor pocket play led to Griffin being benched and replaced with fellow Christian quarterback Kirk Cousins, who started every game for the Redskins in the 2015 season and broke a number of the franchise’s single-season passing records.
As the Redskins are expected to release Griffin in the upcoming offseason and attempt to resign Cousins, whose contract is expiring this offseason, Griffin showed up Monday to clean out his locker at the Redskins’ training facility in Ashburn, Virginia, in what is is likely his last appearance with the team.
After cleaning out his locker, Griffin, who was drafted by Washington with the second pick of the 2012 NFL draft after he won the Heisman Trophy playing for the largest Baptist university in the world, Baylor University, a number of journalists covering the team tweeted pictures of a note that Griffin left behind for the team to read:
“People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered — forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives — be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies — succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere, people may deceive you — be honest and sincere anyway. What you spent years creating others could destroy overnight — create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous — be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten — do good anyway. Give the best you have and it will never be enough — give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it’s between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”

Griffin’s note sparked a social media firestorm with many critics wondering if this was Griffin’s way of blaming his misfortunes on the organization. However, one of his Redskins teammates, linebacker Keenan Robinson, found the note to be a sign of Griffin’s maturity.
“1 of many reasons @RGIII’s career is far from over,” Robinson tweeted, along with a photo of the note. “He handled his situation with professionalism and class #Respect.”
Some have claimed that the actual wording of Griffin’s message is an age-old saying that can be attributed to Mother Theresa. However, QuoteInvestigator.com argues that the saying was first coined by Kent M. Keith, an American writer and higher education leader.

(Photo: Reuters/MOAS/Darrin Zammit Lupi/Handout)Christian Post Report – A rubber dinghy with 104 sub-Saharan Africans on board waiting to be rescued by the NGO Migrant Offshore Aid Station is seen some 25 miles off the Libyan coast in this handout photo provided by MOAS October 4, 2014. MOAS, a privately-funded humanitarian initiative, began operating at the end of August and has assisted in the rescue of some 2,200 migrants crossing from Libyan shores towards Europe.
World leaders need to continue their compassion toward migrants despite concerns of national security, Pope Francis said Monday.
Speaking in his annual address to the diplomatic corps of the Holy See, Francis argued it’s possible for European countries to accept migrants without sacrificing their national security or culture, saying that global leaders must “overcome the inevitable fears associated with this massive and formidable phenomenon.”
The pope went on to argue that the recent, massive influx of migrants from primarily Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq to European countries “seems to be undermining the foundations of that ‘humanistic spirit’ which Europe has always loved and defended.”
The pontiff is likely referencing recent concerns brought by the European Union regarding the massive influx of migrants to European countries and the possible affect of this inflow on the security of member nations.
Anti-migrant sentiment has been growing among European civilians as well, with thousands of Germans gathering in Dresden in recent months for anti-migrant protests, as well as Italian citizens in Treviso burning mattresses and televisions meant for newly-arrived immigrant families.
(Photo: Reuters/Wolfgang Rattay)Supporters of anti-immigration right-wing movement PEGIDA (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West) take part in in demonstration rally, in reaction to mass assaults on women on New Year’s Eve, in Cologne, Germany, January 9, 2016.
In his address, which is delivered every January from the Vatican, the pope suggested that European leaders must find “the right balance between its two-fold moral responsibility to protect the rights of its citizens and to ensure assistance and acceptance to migrants.”
Pope Francis also warned that European countries must not allow preconceived notions regarding religious fundamentalism to breed a culture of “fear” against foreign migrants.
“Extremism and fundamentalism find fertile soil not only in the exploitation of religion for purposes of power, but also in the vacuum of ideals and the loss of identity — including religious identity — which dramatically marks the so-called West. This vacuum gives rise to the fear which leads to seeing the other as a threat and an enemy, to closed-mindedness and intransigence in defending preconceived notions,” the pope told the diplomats.
Taking an optimistic turn, Francis suggested that the arrival of immigrants can “prove a good opportunity for new understanding and broader horizons, both on the part of those accepted, who have the responsibility to respect the values, traditions and laws of the community which takes them in, and on the part of the latter, who are called to acknowledge the beneficial contribution which each immigrant can make to the whole community.”
The pope’s comments come shortly after numerous reports of sexual assault on German women in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.
Cologne police have now arrested 32 men of Northern African and Middle Eastern origin who have been accused of carrying out a massive, coordinated New Year’s Eve attack at Cologne’s main train station, where they reportedly carried out sexual assaults against female civilians as well as robberies.
Police report that of 379 complaints in Cologne on New Year’s Eve, 40 percent of them were related to sexual assaults. Similar attacks were also reported in Hamburg and Stuttgart.
According to CNN, of the 32 men arrested for their involvement in the attacks, 18 have been identified as recently entering Germany on immigrant asylum.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has received criticism for her migrant policy, condemned the New Year’s Eve attacks as “disgusting, criminal acts.”

With the approach of winter, authorities are scrambling to find warm places to stay for the thousands of refugees streaming into Germany every day. In desperation, they have turned to sports halls, youth hostels and empty office buildings. But as these options dry up, tent cities have become the fall-back plan: despite falling temperatures, a survey by German newspaper Die Welt showed at least 42,000 refugees were still living in tents.

(Photo: REUTERS/Luke MacGregor)Christian Post Report – Rt. Rev. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, leaving Canterbury Cathedral after his enthronement ceremony making him head of the Anglican Communion, March 21, 2013.
The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has said that the possible split in the Anglican Communion due to “profound disagreement” over homosexuality would set a bad example for the world.
“A schism would not be a disaster. … God is bigger than our failures, but it would be a failure,” Welby told BBC Radio 4’s “Today” program.
“It would not be good if the Church is unable to set an example to the world of showing how we can love one another and disagree profoundly, because we are brought together by Jesus Christ, not by our own choice.”
Welby made the comments ahead of a widely awaited meeting of world Anglican leaders, which has been overshadowed by bishops from Asia and Africa threatening to walk out over disagreements on issues regarding homosexuality.
While the Church of England remains opposed to gay marriage, the Episcopal Church in America, for instance, has developed more liberal views on the issue, and in 2003 consecrated Canon Gene Robinson as the first openly gay bishop in the Anglican world.
On the other hand of the scale, a number of Anglican bishops represent countries where homosexuality remains a punishable crime, and they have protested against Western leaders trying to influence their cultures to change.
Walk-outs have been threatened by the archbishops of Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda, though the CofE maintains hope that all will be able to participate at the meeting.
“The Archbishop has invited everyone. If people walk out that will be viewed with disappointment rather than anger, and the door will always be open,” the Church said in a statement.
Welby admitted in his latest interview that the views among some leaders in the Anglican Communion are so different on the issue, that there is little he can do to stop a schism.
“Certainly I want reconciliation, but reconciliation doesn’t always mean agreement — in fact, it very seldom does. It means finding ways to disagree well and that’s what we’ve got to do this week,” he added.
“There’s nothing I can do if people decide that they want to leave the room. It won’t split the communion,” Welby said, insisting that the Church will “remain a family” even if a split is to occur.
The upcoming meeting at Lambeth is also set to look at other issues affecting Christians, including religiously-motivated violence, the protection of children and vulnerable adults, and the environment.
The CofE’s decision to begin ordaining female bishops has also proved controversial among more conservative members of the 80-million strong global church body, and Welby has in the past admitted that a split may indeed be coming.
“I think, realistically, we’ve got to say that despite all efforts there is a possibility that we will not hold together, or not hold together for a while,” Welby said in a December 2014 interview.

The Pixel C joins the Chromebook Pixel – the first piece of hardware designed solely by Google – but instead of running Chrome OS the Pixel C runs the latest version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, making it the first tablet to do so.
The Pixel line is different to the various Nexus devices which are made in partnership with third-party manufacturers such as HTC, LG or Huawei. There, the manufacturer designs and builds the device, while Google sets some of the requirements and provides the software.

Google uses the Pixel brand to denote its own-brand machines. They all have a couple of things in common: a plain grey aluminium body, black frame around the glass touchscreen and a colour light strip in the rear of the lid that indicates when the device is on and the battery level. The Pixel C is the best made Android tablet to date. It feels solid and reassuring, with the same quality build of theChromebook Pixel.
It isn’t the most ergonomic of tablets to hold with relatively hard edges, but it doesn’t feel chunky despite being 7mm thick and weighing 517g. It is both thicker and heavier than rivals such as Apple’s 6.1mm, 437g iPad Air 2 and Sony’s 6.1mm, 389g Xperia Z4 Tablet, but it wasn’t too heavy to hold and I didn’t notice it in a bag.
The 10.2in quad HD screen is one of the best I have seen on a tablet with a pixel density of 308 pixels per inch, which is visibly sharper than Apple’s iPad Air 2 with 264ppi, but very similar to Sony’s 299ppi Z4 Tablet. It also one of the brightest, which makes viewing it outdoors easier … See More
Christian Post Report – A parishioner cries as he signs a song of worship in the 7,000-seat Willow Creek Community church during a Sunday service in South Barrington, Illinois, November 20, 2005. Institutions like Willow Creek and Houston’s Lakewood Church, each drawing 20,000 or more on a weekend, offer not just a vast, shared attraction but a path that tries to link individuals on a faith-sustaining one-to-one level beyond the crowd, observers and worshipers say.
A satellite campus of Willow Creek Community Church is looking to expand to a new presently vacant 200,000 square foot facility.
Willow Creek of Crystal Lake presented its plans at a concept review meeting on Tuesday with the Crystal Lake City Council.
Michelle Rentzsch, director of Community Development for the city of Crystal Lake, which is assisting Willow Creek, told The Christian Post about the current status and reception of the project.
“A traffic study is being finalized and then the church intends to submit for their zoning approvals in the near future,” said Rentzsch.
(Photo: City of Crystal Lake)The city hall building for Crystal Lake, Illinois.“This conceptual plan was reviewed by both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council. Both boards had similar comments: excited about the project, planned uses, architecture, campus plan, etc. The project was warmly received.”
Founded in 1975 by Bill Hybels, over the span of four decades Willow Creek has gone from holding its first worship service in a movie theater to having eight church campuses which boast a total of about 20,000 regular attendees.
Last year, Willow Creek Crystal Lake outgrew its current 56,000 square-foot, leased facility and eventually found a possible 200,000 square-foot replacement.
Don Greetham, stewardship pastor at Willow Creek Crystal Lake, told CP that they plan to perform “significant renovation” and “construction of some new portions of the building.”
“That will include a 2,000-seat adult auditorium as well as a student auditorium of 400 seats. And several other multipurpose buildings and rooms within the building,” said Greetham.
“City Council meeting went very well. Got some great feedback from them and they all seem very accepting of what our plans are for the site.”
Presently Willow Creek is incorporating the comments they received from the City Council and the Commission before officially submitting an application within the next few weeks.
When asked by CP about how the congregation will pay for the substantial construction and renovation, Greetham explained their financial plans for the work ahead.
“We’ve already raised a good portion of what phase one of the building plans will cost and we are going to be using those proceeds,” said Greetham.
“[We’re also] replacing our regular rental payments lease payments and facility costs at our current site with a responsible level of debt payment which is actually less than our current lease and facility costs.”

Christian Post Report – Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren participates in a panel discussion during the Clinton Global Initiative in New York September 26, 2008.
Despite the recent announcement that Rick Warren has joined an advisory board for Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio, the Southern California megachurch pastor and best-selling author of The Purpose Driven Life says he’ll never endorse a political candidate — and he’s not endorsing Rubio.
The Christian Examiner, a sister publication of The Christian Post, reported on Thursday that Warren had joined a number of prominent evangelicals on a religious liberty advisory board for Rubio, but his action should not be taken as an endorsement, he says.
“It is public knowledge that I never have endorsed a political candidate and never intend to,” said Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church, in an exclusive comment to the Christian Examiner. “It is not my job as a pastor to endorse candidates. But I do offer private counsel and perspective to any candidate who asks for it. I have done this with many candidates in the past. In this election cycle, I know most of the candidates on both sides who are running for president, and many have been friends for years, but they all know that I never endorse.”
Though Warren has counseled, advised and developed relationships with political figures across the political spectrum—and spoken out on a number of specific political issues, he has avoided taking sides in elections. He famously talks about being neither “left-wing or right-wing” but instead being for the “whole bird.”
In 2008 both Democratic and Republican presidential candidates participated in a nationally televised public forum at Saddleback Church where Warren asked both of them questions about their spiritual backgrounds, abortion, the definition of marriage, education and a myriad of other issues. The following January …

“You know, it can be a little scary sometimes to say anything. These days, it’s a talent to be politically correct,” she told Fox 411 in an interview published Wednesday. “I find that as long as I don’t care what other people think and I stand by my values, it doesn’t matter what other people say.”
“People are going to argue with me no matter if I say something controversial or not,” she continued. “I’m going to ignore them because I have every right to say what I want to say and put out there what I feel. I don’t judge others and I’m definitely not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
“God’s Not Dead 2: He’s Surely Alive,” the sequel to the $100 million grossing 2014 faith-based film, features Hart, who’s best known for her roles in the TV series “Clarissa Explains It All” and “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” and actor Jesse Metcalf who made a name himself as the adulterous landscaper on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”
While the first “God’s Not Dead” film dealt with an antagonistic atheist professor, the new film will address freedom of religion, a topic that has become even more prevalent since last month’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling that made state-level bans on same-sex marriage unconstitutional.
Hart, a native of New York, says she hasn’t always been vocal about her faith, but that seems to be changing. “As far as my faith, I think it’s important to share that those are my values and I’m going to use them to guide me through life and I’m not going to steer away from it, it’s part of who I am.”
In a promotional video for the film, Hart explains why she felt called to be apart of it of the upcoming faith based film, saying: “[I’m] really excited about it and prayed a lot over it. I felt like this was a great story to tell, important story to tell and I felt like it was my mission to be apart of it.”
Hart can be seen on the big screen in”God’s Not Dead” on April 1.
