Just in time to make their subscribers delighted and not waiting for long, Sony recently announced the titles included in their Christian Post Report – PlayStation Plus Free games list for the month of April 2015. Those who are subscribed to the PS Plus program can get their hands on these six exciting games across PlayStation gaming platforms.

PlayStation 4 owners enrolled to PS Plus program can grab a hold to Upper One Game’s puzzle-platformer “Never Alone.” Commended for its simple, yet beautiful cartoon style animation, “Never Alone” is originally priced at $14.99 at the PlayStation 4 Store.

Next up is Terrible Posture Games’ single-player shooter game “Tower of Guns” which is sold originally for $14.99. Laden with “random enemies, random power ups, random bosses, and tons of unlockable items and weapons,” the game is said to be perfect for those who have the affinity for twitch games.

Then there’s “Auru’s Awakening.” Another fast-paced action 2D action platformer, players are put “in charge of Aaru, a mythical creature with two unique abilities, teleportation and charging” as he traverses the dangerous world of Lumenox.

PlayStation 3 owners enrolled to PS Plus program are also in for some treat. There is the highly-rated action-stealth shooter from Bethesda, “Dishonored.” The game follows the story of Corvo Attano, a bodyduard to the Empress of the Isles, who is framed for her murder. Seeking revenge, he becomes an assassin dreaded by most in the industrial city of Dunwall.

PS Vita players are also up for some grabs! Portable gamers can get Guerilla Cambridge’s FPS action “Killzone Mercenary” for free. Or better yet, they can download the puzzle-platformer game “MonsterBag.”

As stated by PlayStation Blog, all the mentioned games will be made available on April 8.

Sony Xperia Z4 Specs Rumors, Features Review: Leaked Benchmark Results Reveal Upcoming Flagship’s Best Bits

A lot of people were surprised when the Consumer Electronics Show and the Mobile World Congress passed without Sony announcing any flagships. In comparison, the Japanese manufacturer was more aggressive last year, announcing the Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z3 only months apart.

Christian Post Report – Fortunately, a new leak suggests that the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 is already on its way.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered smartphone recently showed up in a benchmarking app, GFXBench.

In the details that followed, the alleged Sony Xperia Z4 will potentially boast a 5.1-inch display, the company’s Triluminous technology and Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution.

The alleged Xperia Z4 continues to follow the HTC One M9’s footsteps with a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM and a 32GB built-in memory, of which 23GB will be user-accessible.

Other features and specs include an Adreno 430 GPU, a 19MP (probably 20.7MP) back camera that can shoot 1080p clips. The phone runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.

While the report did not specify whether the Xperia Z4 would get water and dust resistance, it may just be a given for any Sony flagship.

In the report, the mysterious Sony device has a model number E6553. Based on the Japanese manufacturer’s previous naming schemes, the report claims that this could in fact be the Xperia Z4.

Other brands who have not announced any high-end devices yet include Motorola. LG has already unveiled a high-end smartphone, the G Flex 2, but that was during the first week of January.

The Memphis Grizzlies host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the FedExForum in the NBA regular season. Tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET on April 3, 2015.

Christian Post Report – Memphis are currently second in the Western Conference with a 51-24 record and are trying to hold off teams like the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers as the regular season comes to a close.

Meanwhile, the Thunder are holding on to the eighth spot, with only a few games as cushion over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Memphis recently broke their three-game losing streak with a 97-83 win over the Sacramento Kings. In their first of four straight home games, Memphis won behind 18 points from Mike Conley and 16 from Jeff Green. Marc Gasol struggled from the field and only scored eight points but also grabbed 11 rebounds. Kostas Koufos also had similar stats off the bench with eight points and 12 rebounds in less than 25 minutes on the court.

On the other hand, the Thunder lost 135-131 to the Dallas Mavericks and have now lost three of their last four matches.

Russell Westbrook had another big game with 31 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to help the team. However, his 10th triple-double this season was not enough as Oklahoma City could not stop Dallas’ hot shooting. Anthony Morrow also had a breakout game in the loss, scoring 32 points and draining six of his nine three point attempts, while Enes Kanter notched 30 markers and 16 rebounds.

As far as their head-to-head battle this season, Memphis leads the series 2-1 heading into their final meeting.

Memphis won the first two games 91-89 and 85-74, before the Thunder bounced back with a big 105-89 win at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

In their last meeting, Kevin Durant was still available and the current MVP scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.

For Memphis, Zach Randolph scored a team high 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Chicago Cubs MLB 2015 News, Rumors: Cubs Have Lots of Young Talent

Kris Bryant is the young star for the Chicago Cubs that most sports fans have already heard of. However, the Cubs are rich in young talent as Theo Epstein since taking over the reigns has invested a lot of time and even a little bit of money into finding young talent foe the Cubs. That is a big reason why Joe Maddon was such a good fit there and explains away why he so suddenly left his last job with the Tampa Bay Rays.

Beyond Bryant, who will begin the year at Triple A Iowa, the Cubs have Mike Olt who is 26 and who has had a great spring after tearing up the Arizona Fall League three years ago. Albert Almora has had a great spring as well, hitting .34 in 15 games and making himself look like a sure thing to make the 25-man active roster.

Everywhere one looks in the Cubs’ Sloan Park Complex one sees a top prospect that led MLB.com to rank their minor league system the best in baseball this year. Maddon is excited and impressed with his collection of young talent.

“Personality-wise, I have really been impressed with them as people, and their work has been great. As baseball players, you all knew how good they are. I’m getting to see it for the first time,” he said.

While Bryant is getting all of the attention, Maddon doesn’t see a big difference between him and Cuban Right Fielder Jorge Soler, who impressed the Cubs last spring and will get his first crack at a major league job.

“Coming into it, I had heard about him. To get the opportunity to work with somebody like that, as managers and coaches, it’s somewhat unique. He’s really that impressive, offensively and defensively, [and I] think he can be a good base runner also. He’s just a great guy. He smiles easily. He listens well. He’s the kind of guy you want to grow with,” he said.

Detroit Tigers Roster News 2015: Justin Verlander, Bruce Rondon to Start 2015 Season on the Disabled List for Tigers

In what was a day full of bad news for the Detroit Tigers, the team announced that starting pitcher Justin Verlander and relief pitcher Bruce Rondon will start the season on the disabled list. Verlander’s time on the list will go back to his last start and he will be eligible to return April 12th. Rondon’s circumstance is a bit more complicated.

This is the first time in Verlander’s 10-year career that he has spent any regular season time on the disabled list. He was scheduled to start the second game of the season for the Tigers, but due to the travel schedule and the day off following opening day, the Tigers will not have to make a roster move or bring in a pitcher. David Price will start the opener with the rest of the rotation being bumped up one start till Verlander’s returns. He is suffering from a triceps strain.

“Me speculating wouldn’t change the facts, and the facts are his arm will let us know when he is going to be able to pitch. I will say, and I’ve said it from the get-go, I don’t think this is an injury that is going to be a long-term issue,” manager Brad Ausmus told Mlive.com. “He said after throwing pretty firm (Wednesday) that he felt better today. So that’s a good sign.”

Rondon awoke Wednesday morning with a sore shoulder. Thursday he had MRI that showed bicep tendonitis and since he is returning from Tommy John surgery, the Tigers are likely to take cautious approach with him. This is the third season Rondon figured to be a big part of the Tigers bullpen and the third season in which he has not made the team out of spring training.

While the starting rotation was pretty much set and can survive without Verlander to start the season the bullpen has been in flux all spring. Without Rondon, the roster possibilities are endless and the team could carry an extra bullpen arm till Verlander is ready to return.

St. Louis Rams New NFL Stadium 2015 News, Rumors: St. Louis County Will Not Contribute Taxpayer Funds for NFL Stadium

The taxpayers of St. Louis county will not help the taxpayers of St. Louis city keep the St. Louis Rams. Under a newer proposal spearheaded by a group of lawmakers trying to keep the Rams in town, a new NFL stadium was to be built costing nearly $1 billion. $6 million of that was planned to come from the country, but even that low number could not gain support among the county politicians. That really seems to underscore the sentiment out there of using public funds to build stadiums from privately owned sports team owned by the mega rich.

The NFL is behind at least one team, but more likely two, moving to Los Angeles. They favor Rams’ owner Stan Kroenke plan because he has the capitol to build a stadium with private money. If that is true, then it seems very silly for anyone in St. Louis to build him a stadium in a dire hope he keeps the team there.

With that being said if St. Louis believes having a NFL team brings a certain value to their city, and that value is not in terms of actual dollars and cents most often, than losing the Rams is not the end of the story. Currently three teams are attempting to move to the LA market, whichever one of them loses will likely be stirred to St. Louis by the league itself.

“The move could actually smooth the stadium’s path. St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger has said he wouldn’t support public spending without a public vote, and taking the county out of the funding mix could avoid a messy, time-consuming election,” the LA Times reported. “In the fast-paced merry-go-round of NFL relocation, that matters, said Jim Shrewsbury, chairman of the Edward Jones Dome Authority, which oversees the Rams’ current stadium.”

It may still be in St. Louis’ best interest to continue to find support for a new stadium, even after the Rams officially announce that they are leaving.

Manchester United will try to win their fifth straight game in the Premier League as they host Aston Villa at Old Trafford. The match is on April 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. ET.

Christian Post Report – Louis Van Gaal’s men are fourth in the league and are only one point behind Arsenal, who are in third place. They recently beat Liverpool 2-1 to put a five-point lead for the final European slot.

The win also gave the Red Devils their fourth straight victory in the competition, beating teams like Sunderland, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

In their clash against Liverpool, Juan Mata turned on a sublime performance with a brace to secure three points. He scored in the 14th minute before doubling the lead in the 59th with a beautiful scissor kick to put the game to bed. Those goals put Mata’s output this season to seven, while Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie still lead the team with 11 and 10 goals, respectively.

Meanwhile, Villa are 16th in the league and are desperately trying to avoid reaching the relegation zone. As it stands, they are only three points above safety and need points as the season draws to a close.

They had their two game win streak snapped in a home loss to Swansea City, when they surrendered a late goal that cost them an important point. Gabby Agbonlahor leads the team with six goals so far this season, while Christian Benteke has five so far in 21 games.

When these two teams met earlier in the season, they had to settle for a 1-1 draw after Benteke opened the scoring in the 18th minute of the match.

However, Radamel Falcao found the equaliser eight minutes into the second half to make sure they go away with a point each.

Despite the score line, United dominated possession and the number of shots but were unable to convert against the stifling defence of the hosts.

The San Antonio Spurs will try to complete a series sweep on the Denver Nuggets when they meet at the AT&T Center on April 3, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. ET in the NBA.

Christian Post Report – With the two teams meeting three times so far, San Antonio have dominated their Western Conference rivals.

Their first meeting was in Colorado, with the Spurs winning 99-91 behind a balanced attack from the visitors.

Kahwi Leonard poured in 18 points, while Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan each had 15 points to keep Denver on their toes on defence. Six players finished the game in double figures while shooting 46 percent from the field.

Meanwhile, Denver’s offence was anchored by ex-Nugget Arron Afflalo who scored 31 points and shot 60 percent from the field. The closest player next to him was Wilson Chandler with 14.

In the second game, San Antonio utilized the same strategy they did previously to get the 109-99 victory. This time, Tony Parker led the charge with 18 points, with Leonard a close second with 17. Afflalo had 21 points but had enough help with Kenneth Faried scoring 26 and grabbing 14 rebounds.

Unfortunately, the Spurs made six more three-point field goals that helped them win by double figures.

The usual players again came up big for San Antonio in their 120-111 win as Leonard and Parker had 25 and 24 points, respectively.

For Denver, Ty Lawson led the team with 23 points while Faried had 20 in the losing effort.

Stats between the two teams were much closer in this game except for the fact that the Spurs took 10 more free throw attempts, converting 25 as compared to only 15 conversions from the Nuggets.

Furthermore, Denver committed 13 turnovers in the game while San Antonio kept theirs to only nine to keep control of the ball.
