Veterans Ministry Says YouTube Blocked Their Ad Because it Included the Word ‘Christian’
A Christian speaker and former Special Operations marine says YouTube has censored an ad for his ministry to veterans.
Chad Robichaux said the word “Christian” was deemed a violation of YouTube’s policy. The notice from YouTube said, “The following keywords violate Google Ads advertising policies. Please remove the unacceptable content to continue.”
The word identified was “Christian.”
“We ran a @YouTube ad for our veterans ministry outreach for those in need & it was denied for the word “Christian,” Robichaux wrote on his Twitter account. “Insane! #Censorship should terrify every American; conservative or liberal, Christian or Muslim. This bias is a dangerous course for America,” he added.

Robichaux, who heads the Mighty Oaks Foundation, said he tested the Google Ad by trying to use the word “Muslim.” Unlike the word “Christian,” Robichaux said that the word “Muslim” was accepted.

‘God Put Me Here for a Reason’: Photo of One-Handed Soccer Star Carson Pickett Meeting One-Handed Toddler Goes Viral
A picture of a professional soccer player laughing with a 21-month-old fan has gone viral, thanks to their unique bond: Both were born without a left forearm and hand.
The picture shows a smiling Carson Pickett of the Orlando Pride bumping arms with Joseph Tidd, a little boy who has become friends with Pickett in recent months.
Pickett’s mother, Colleen Tidd, snapped the picture, and it has been shared on multiple social media platforms, including those of ESPN and NBC’s Today Show.
“Pictures mean a lot so hopefully when he gets older, he can see that and feel even more of what it means,” Pickett, 25, told USA Today. “When I was younger and I didn’t know how the world works, it was hard. My parents always tell me that God put me here for a reason. The biggest thing I’d want Joseph (and others) to know is that even if people see you as different, it’s what’s in your heart that counts.
“This is something that is much bigger than soccer,” Pickett said of her relationship with Tidd. “It’s hopefully a lifelong friendship.”
The two met for the first time in April. Tidd’s father, Miles Tidd, said the two instantly bonded.
“Carson knelt down next to Joseph and showed him her arm,” Miles told Today. “It was this instant bond we can’t begin to understand.”

Coronation Street and Salvation Army partner to tackle human trafficking
Writers of the much loved British soap will be introducing a shocking story-line on Friday evening to help highlight the practice of human trafficking in the UK.
The charity was approached by the show’s researchers to assist them in telling the story of a young girl, Alina, who runs a nail salon and is being held against her will.
The Salvation Army has held the UK government contract to support adult victims of modern slavery in England and Wales since 2011.
As experts in the field of human exploitation, it has helped the show to accurately display how victims might find themselves in these situations and the realities facing them.
The Salvation Army’s director for anti-trafficking and modern slavery, Cathy Betteridge told Premier more about the new Corrie character: “[Alina] is petrified of her boss, she’s anxious to leave the salon for any length of time.
“It’s all in relation to the fact that she’s tied up and held in this situation where she is free to come and go, but actually is being held by an organised crime group.”
When asked why it’s important for this story to be told on the popular TV programme, Betteridge said: “Coronation Street are very good at taking up issues that people experience and are living through. And this is one of those issues that is relevant and happening in our society.

UN Council Votes to Condemn Israel for Violating Women’s Rights
Members of the United Nations’ 54-nation economic and social council voted this week to condemn Israel as a country in the world that violates women’s rights.
According to UN Watch, the council voted 40 to 2 in favor of the resolution to condemn Israel. Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Pakistan were among the countries that voted in favor of the resolution.
The resolution said Israel’s policies were a “major obstacle” for women “with regard to their advancement, self-reliance and integration in the development of their society.”
The resolution also said that the United Nations Economic and Social Council has “grave concern about the continuing systematic violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people by Israel, the occupying Power, and its impact on women and girls.”
The council asked Israel to “cease” discriminatory legislation and policy.
In a second resolution, “Economic and social repercussions of the Israeli occupation on the living conditions of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the Arab population in the occupied Syrian Golan,”the council voted to say that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian and Syrian lands has contributed to the economic hardship of the country.
