Christian Post Report – Kim Richards

Christian Post Report – Kim Richards was arrested on Thursday after an alleged drunken confrontation with a police officer. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star was taken into custody 1:30 a.m. at the Beverly Hills Hotel after she reportedly drank too much.

Beverly Hills Department spokesman Lt. Lincoln Hoshino told Us Weekly that Richards, 50, appeared to have “too much to drink and was disturbing some of the other patrons” in the hotel’s restaurant. The former child star was reportedly asked to leave by hotel security but refused. Upon finally agreeing to leave, Richards then entered the hotel’s bathroom and it was reported that she refused to come out.

“Hotel security requested to make a Private Persons Arrest and BHPD officers entered the restroom and took her into custody,” said Hoshino. “She was passively resisting and she was taken into custody on Private Person Arrest.”

It was also reported that while being booked at the Beverly Hills Police prison, Richards allegedly kicked an officer.

Richards has since been released and faces a June 11 court date and charges include public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a police officer.

Richards’ struggle with alcohol has been chronicled on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” In 2011, the reality star checked into a rehab facility for alcohol abuse.

Meanwhile, Kim’s fellow Housewives and Bravo host Andy Cohen have taken to social media to offer their prayers and support for the star.

“I reached out to Kyle and the family is obviously very concerned,” said Cohen to Ryan Seacrest on Friday, April 17. “I don’t know exactly what happened but I’m thinking of her. I’m glad she wasn’t hurt, and I hope it leads to some peaceful resolution for her and her family.”

Star Wars Battlefront Release Date Rumors, News: Gameplay Trailer Revealed; Assistant Producer Confirms No Battlelog for Upcoming Game

Star Wars Battlefront 3 YouTube/Image

Christian Post Report – Screengrab from the Star Wars Battlefront 3 teaser by DICE, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts

The hype is getting more intense for the third/first-person shooter video game from Pandemic Studios, “Star Wars: Battlefront” as news of gameplay footage surfaced. Meanwhile, an insider confirms some important details of the game.

A report from IGN indicated that a 7-minute gameplay video of Battlefront was recently released. The report described that the demo commenced with a scene on the “forest moon of Endor with a group of rebels running through the forest.”

A skirmish between the Stormtroopers and the Rebels ensues only to be interrupted when a “gigantic AT-AT” arrives to the scene. The fight footage continues while switching between first and third-person perspectives, which meanwhile give the audience the idea of how the game can be viewed.

The publication went on to mention the appearance of Darth Vader who effortlessly deflects the remaining rebels using the Force as well as his lightsaber.

The seven minute-long gameplay clip really “feels like Star Wars” movie, according to the review.

“By putting all those iconic vehicles, weapons, and characters together, how could they not?” the site said.

Putting the footage aside, a report from PC Gamer meanwhile cited Battlefront assistant producer Jesper Nielsen shedding light into the rumors that the game would use the multiplayer portal Battlelog which was previously incorporated on Battefield 3, Battlefield 4 and even on Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

As stated by the website, this won’t be the case for Star Wars: Battlefront.

“That article is based on the fact that the Uprise website mentions that Uprise is working on Star Wars Battlefront. While Uprise has been doing Battlelog, does that automatically mean that we will do Battlelog for Star Wars Battlefront?” Nielsen’s statement in NeoGAF reads (via PC Gamer). “No, it won’t. That can only be an assumption, and I can tell you, no, there won’t be Battlelog for Star Wars Battlefront.”

“Star Wars: Battlefront” is slated to be released for current-gen gaming consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and on PC this November 17, 2015.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Michael Schumacher Health News: Vettel Pays Tribute, Younger Schumacher Returns

Mick Schumacher, Michael Schumacher Reuters/File

Christian Post Report – Mick and Michael Schumacher (Imago/Reuters) – Eurosport

Sebastian Vettel, who is now competing for Ferrari, won his first trophy on Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia Grand Prix for the current Formula One season. Right after receiving his accolades, the 27-year-old German driver pays tribute to the racetrack legend, Michael Schumacher.

“It’s been my dream, Michael was my hero. All the kids at the go-kart track looked up to him,” Vettel said. “When he turned up to shake hands every year it made our lives. I don’t understand yet how special it is.”

The racer meanwhile took the chance to express his gratitude to the people of Scuderia Ferrari for their warm welcome and the eager support they have given him.

In terms of legacy, Schumacher’s son, Mick, is also reported to be running his way for glory just like his father in Formula 1.

A report from the Daily Mail said that the 16-year-old has returned to the racing circuit just weeks after the 100mph crash in the Lausitzring speedway in Brandenburg, eastern Germany.

As said by the report, he was travelling at speeds of up to 100mph when he “skidded out of control.” Fortunately, the crash was nothing serious. He walked away from the track unharmed.

“Of course we know that his father is a seven-time world champion,” coach Frits van Amersfoort said. “But I want to emphasize that Mick will take the time to learn the trade of the racing driver.”

As for Schumacher’s current condition, it has been reported that the recovery rate of the seven-time F1 Racing champion has been very slow.

Philippe Streiff, a former Formula 1 driver like Schumacher told a French media outlet earlier this year that Schumi “has yet to recover the power of speech” but he’s “nevertheless starting to recognise those close to him.”

LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs Live Stream Free, TNT TV Start Time: Watch NBA 2015 Playoffs Basketball Online (Preview)

Christian Post Report – The Los Angeles Clippers will play host to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday in Game 1 of their NBA 2015 Playoffs series. The game has a start time of 10.30 p.m. ET and takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The game can be watched on TV on the TNT network, or online through free live stream (details below).

The Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan.

Tim Duncan has said ahead of the game: “We’re starting on the road against one of the hottest teams playing right now. We’re comfortable playing on the road. We’ve been through just about every situation possible, so we have the capacity and we have the experience to be able to start a series on the road.”

The Spurs are the team with the experience; they have won five championships and reached nine conference finals in the last 18 years. The Clippers meanwhile have won just four Playoff series in their entire 45 year franchise history.

Coach Doc Rivers has said: “We’re not going to have their experience. There’s no way. So what? It’s a clear advantage. They should have an advantage. They have an advantage over every team playing, not just us. They have an advantage over everybody. They’ve won titles together, and that you cannot knock off.”

There are four games taking place on Sunday in the NBA as the 2015 Playoffs get underway. The Boston Celtics go on the road to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

That game will mark the first time LeBron James will have worn a Cleveland shirt in the Playoffs since 2010. He will be hoping to lead the Cavaliers to a dream NBA Championship, however, to do so he and his team will have to navigate their way past the Boston Celtics first.

It is interesting to note that James’ first stint with the Cavaliers ended with defeat against the Celtics. In 2010 the Celtics came out on top in six games, and that memory has remained with James, and no doubt he will use it as motivation for today’s game.

The Brooklyn Nets will also be on the road against the Atlanta Hawks at the Philips Arena in Georgia.

The Memphis Grizzlies will also face off against the Portland Trail Blazers as the Grizzlies look to get their early season form back. They had looked certain to enter the Playoffs as the No. 2 seeds in the Western Conference, however, they suffered a bad slide in the final weeks of the regular season that has seen them slip to the fifth spot. There is now much uncertainty over how well Memphis will do in the Playoffs.

Center Marc Gasol though is looking to remain positive. He has said, “I’m happy how the team is and even though we’ve had a lot of ups and downs and adversity and things that didn’t go our way, it’s time to put all the negative stuff aside. Try to be positive and get ready for a really tough playoff series.”

Today’s game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the San Antonio Spurs will start at 10.30 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the TNT network or online through free live stream by clicking here.

Center Marc Gasol though is looking to remain positive. Cleveland should be favorites for this series, although the season series was split between the two teams. Boston won twice just last week, but a closer look at the circumstances will show that the Cavaliers rested a number of core players so they would be fresh for the postseason.

In all the regular season match ups between these two sides, there is only one instance where both teams had their full strength teams out, and that was March 3.

In that game the Cavaliers were the clear winners, destroying the Celtics 110-79. LeBron James and Cleveland would love to match that result today.

Christian Post Report – The Brooklyn Nets will travel to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday in Game 1 of their NBA 2015 Playoffs series. The Nets only made the Playoffs on the final day of the regular season, where as the No. 1 seeded Hawks booked their place much more comfortably. Most pundits have already penciled in the Hawks to progress to the Second Round of the Playoffs. Not many give the Nets much hope at pulling off an upset in this opening round of the postseason.

During the regular season, the Hawks won all four match ups between these two teams, and won handsomely; the average winning margin for Atlanta over Brooklyn was more than 17 points.

However, the Hawks will not be taking anything for granted after what happened last season when they were in a similar position, but lost in seven games against the much less fancied Indiana Pacers. That series defeat was painful as the Hawks had won twice in Indianapolis and came back to Atlanta with full confidence that they would finish things off, but they were taught a harsh lesson. The Hawks will be desperate avoid any kind of repeat of that failure this season.

Pitch Perfect 2 Release Date, 3 Latest News: New Sequel A Go, Only Rebel Wilson On Board So Far

Christian Post Report – While fans of the cult classic “Pitch Perfect” are anticipating the movie’s sequel “Pitch Perfect 2” on May 15, one of the film’s stars have already confirmed that there will be a third sequel. Rebel Wilson, who plays one of the Barden Bella characters, Fat Amy, recently told a reporter that she has signed on to be part of said sequel.

According to a report in Hollywood Life, Los Angeles Times reporter Amy Kaufman shared the news through a tweet on April 10 that said: “News: Rebel Wilson just told me that there will be a third Pitch Perfect and she recently signed on to be in it (She doesn’t know abt Kendrick.)”

Anna Kendrick also plays another pivotal character in the film, Beca Mitchell who is the leader of the Barden Bellas. Other cast members in the second film are Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. The director of “Pitch Perfect 2,” Elizabeth Banks, is also a member of the cast.

It is not yet known if anyone else from the original cast have been signed on. The sequel’s plot is also not known. Although it is likely that if there is a sequel, it will follow the adventures and misadventures of the acapella group, the Barden Bellas.

“Pitch Perfect 2” follows the group after they gained some prestige after winning the national collegiate championship. In this film however, some of the characters from the first film are already graduates, but this did not bar their appearance in the second film, such as that of Adam Devine as Bumper, Britanny Snow as Chloe Beale and Anna Camp as Aubrey Posen. This time around, the group faces another challenge of winning an international aca pella competition, which has never been won by an American group.

A report in SlashFilm also cites that if “Pitch Perfect 3” was indeed happening, the film’s writers have to contend with the fact that its lead characters Beca and Fat Amy are graduating seniors in the sequel. This means that they have to think of some creative way to bring them back in the third film.
