This week on “Grey’s Anatomy,” a plane crash rocks Grey-Sloane Memorial to its core, and Meredith struggles through the day as she waits to hear from Derek, who appears to be missing.

In “One Flight Down,” Meredith is worried about Derek since he never made it to his big meeting at the White House and no one has seen him since he left the house to go to the airport. Later, a small plane crashes, and this brings about bad memories for Meredith and Arizona, who were in a plane crash before — the plane crash which killed Dr. Mark Sloane and Meredith’s sister, Lexie.

Meredith tries to help the victims of the plane crash, but soon she realizes that she can’t do it as it now appears that she’s suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. She looks for Arizona and finds her sitting on the floor of the supply room. Meredith joins her, and they assure each other that they’re OK.

In another part of the hospital, Alex tells Callie that they ought to watch Meredith and Arizona carefully and that maybe they shouldn’t be treating the plane crash victims. Callie agrees to that, but says that she’ll look after Meredith since she can’t be “that person” for her ex-wife anymore.

At the end of the day, Alex told Arizona that when their plane crashed, he was the one who amputated her leg because he was running out of time to save her. It was Callie’s decision, but he was the one who made the cut.

Arizona immediately runs to Callie and demanded to know why she never told her about it. “Why didn’t you tell me about Alex and my leg? All this time, you let me hold it against you. Why?”

Callie tells her, “I made the call. No matter what, it was still me making the call to take your leg and I knew you were going to hate me. I didn’t want you to hate Alex too. I wanted you to have somebody.”

Meanwhile, Meredith is inundated with flashbacks from the plane crash while also remembering what Derek told her before he left for D.C.

Derek told her that he’s back for good and promised that he’d never leave again. He also told her that he wants more kids.

“It’s always been you. But I want more of this, of us. I want to have more. Let’s have more,” he said.

Everyone in the hospital is trying to help Meredith, and Bailey comes up with the perfect solution. She tells Meredith that she has until 5pm to hear from Derek. If it gets to 5 p.m. and she doesn’t hear from him, then she can start to panic. Meredith thinks that it’s a good idea and focuses on the task at hand.

Back at her home, Meredith sits on the couch and checks the time. At 5pm, she gets up to call the authorities about her missing husband when a car pulls up on her driveway, and the blue and red lights of a police car reflect in the window that Meredith is looking through.

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC.

Christian Post Report – Players of the competitive online game “Guild Wars 2” will have a quick taste of the game’s new Player vs. Player mode called “Stronghold” during its public beta on April 14. The public beta is available for “Guild Wars 2” players in North America and Europe for 24 hours.

According to Cinema Blend, the public beta will start on April 14 21:00 CEST (20:00 BST) and everyone in North America and Europe who have Guild Wars 2 accounts will be able to join the beta. It will be the only mode available in the Unranked Arena of the game.

The “Stronghold” mode is said to take place in the Battle of Champion’s Dusk map and will allow teams to play as their characters (pirates or knights) with the aim to overthrow the opposing team’s lord, according to another report in IGN. The stronghold being referred to here is a fortress that is being protected by a team.

The Cinema Blend report said that the key to victory in this mode is supplies. These supplies are available at a depot in the middle of the map and each should bring them to their own stockpile. Supplies are then used to “hire NPC siege vehicles and soldiers” that will be instrumental in breaking through the enemy’s gates and eventually kill the NPC lord.

The game’s developer ArenaNet and its publisher NCSOFT wants to bring what it calls new strategy elements to the new mode – this includes “NPCs that can be hired to help fight enemy resistance and giving players options and new ‘strategic opportunities’ to keep each player engaged.”

When they revealed the mode, ArenaNet said: “There is always something exciting to do in a Stronghold match. Whether you’re fighting over supply, pushing or defending a lane, getting your doorbreakers to your front line, or blasting enemies to smithereens with a trebuchet, you’ll never find a time where you’re not actively engaged.”

After the 24 hour beta, the next time players will encounter the mode is when it will be released with the game’s expansion pack “Heart of Thorns.”

“Grand Theft Auto 5” is coming for PC on April 14, 2015. Rockstar Games, the developer, says that the launch time is tied to British Summer Time (BST), which means that 12:00 a.m. BST equates to 7:00 p.m. EST and 4:00 p.m. PST, giving US gamers a few hours advantage over those in Europe. This advantage however is only available to those who are opting to buy the Digital only version for PC.

According to a report in Mashable, the PC version is more than just “a direct copy of the game.” It also brings with it two cool new features – the Rockstar Editor and the Director Mode – which allows the PC player to create new content based on gameplay.

The Rockstar Editor is a built-in video editor that allows users to “tweak and string together a series of recorded clips” into one cohesive video. Users as always will have the option to share their created videos or just keep it to themselves.

The Director Mode gives a different sense of control for PC users. Through this mode, they can “stage their own elaborate set pieces with a greater degree of control” than those available in existing modes of the game.

Both features combined turns the game into something more than just a game – it becomes “a toybox for content creators.” So much custom content can be created with these new tools.

The PC version is also expected to have better visual fidelity if users are using high-end PCs. It is said to run in 4K at 60 frames per second. The recommended set-up for this case is two video cards and an i7 processor according to the IGN report.

The IGN report also lists down the minimum requirements for PCs to run “GTA 5” which includes 4 CPUs, 4GB RAM, an NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB video card, 100% DirectX 10 compatible, and a 65GB HDD space. The recommended requirement needs higher RAM at 8GB and an NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB video card.

Christian Post Report – A celebration in honor of a best-selling Christian author and pastor whose various spiritual messages have sold in the millions will take place at a church in Georgia.

Henry Blackaby, author of influential Christian works like Experiencing God and founder of Blackaby Ministries International, will be celebrating his 80th birthday and the 25th anniversary of the publication of Experiencing God.

The two-day event will be held Friday and Saturday in the worship center at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia.

It will feature worship, music, and well wishes given by various people, including former President George W. Bush, Anne Graham Lotz, and Saddleback senior pastor Rick Warren.

Mel Blackaby, senior pastor at First Baptist Jonesboro and third son of Blackaby, told The Christian Post that “it is a wonderful time to reflect on the legacy my father has not only set for his family but for an untold number of believers across the globe.”

“It has been my honor to read every book he has written; co-author several books with him; but more importantly, see the exemplary life he has lived daily,” said Blackaby.

“Through my personal travels all over the world, I am always humbled by the number of testimonies I receive on how God has used my Dad’s writings to change lives.”

Published and updated several times since 1990, Experiencing God calls on readers to focus on scriptural realities when dealing with their relationship with the Almighty.

“Through examination of biblical and contemporary illustrations, participants will understand and apply seven realities of experiencing God,” reads the Amazon description.

“Churches will be helped to better function as the body of Christ, as members understand how to experience God as a church.”

While centered on the contributions his father has made in books and ministry, Blackaby told CP that his father “would never want this to be about him, but rather have each participant receive an encouraging word from God for their daily lives.”

“Through worship, testimonies, and challenging messages, we anticipate a tremendous experience with God,” said Blackaby.

“It is our desire that these two days will be a celebratory time in honor of our earthly father, but more importantly, a glorious time of acknowledging our Heavenly Father from whom all blessings come.”

Director Zack Snyder seems to be keeping with the same faith-based themes he laid out in 2013’s “Man of Steel” as a recently leaked “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” trailer reveals that the hero is viewed by some of the public as a “false god.”

The clip, which appears to be footage taken from a movie theater where the trailer was being shown before a film in IMAX, displays both Batman and Superman, and it seems that the Dark Knight has been given the task to ease the fears of the public by taking on the Man of Steel.

Snyder’s 2013 portrayal of Superman in “Man of Steel” featured a Christ-like depiction of him with various scenes, such as him falling in space as if he was nailed to a cross and being a son sent to Earth to save it. The faith angles were imbedded in Superman folklore, according to Snyder’s wife, Deborah, who was a producer on the film.

“I think these things are touched upon within the canon of Superman. I think they are why this character has existed for 75 years, because there’s depth to [his story].

“David Goyer did an amazing job with the script. Zack then took the script and created imagery to support some of these ideas of sacrifice, doing good, family and what it means. The struggle to do good is something [I take away] from it. Sometimes it’s very hard. Those are things that resonate with me,” she told CP in a 2013 interview.

Superman, however, seems to be portrayed in a more negative light with Batman as a sort of policeman for him. This is basically the reversal of the storyline found in Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns that features an older, worn down Batman coming out of retirement and the government using Superman to put him back there.

Snyder said in a previous interview with Forbes last year that The Dark Knight Returns, which was released in the 1980s, sparked his interest in comics.

“Frank [Miller]’s book really made me see that comic books, and Batman specifically, could really reflect political and social concepts that I felt like maybe before I hadn’t imagined were possible,” said Snyder.

The new film also seems to take an even darker tone than “Man of Steel,” which told the origin story of Superman and took a more brooding and tortured approach from the original films starring Christopher Reeves and the Bryan Singer 2006 remake, “Superman Returns.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.

Christian Post Report – The next patch of “Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls,” Patch 2.2.0 went live last April 7, released by Blizzard. The patch first went live in the Americas, with Asia and Europe following soon after.

The latest patch of the action role-playing game is said to bring new treasure goblins, legendary items and an improved crafting experience, as reported in IGN. Treasure goblins when caught by players, bring riches to those who catch them.

The improvements are mostly found in the game’s Adventure Mode which includes the addition of three new treasure goblins. According to the IGN report, players are given the chance to increase their blood shard cap by “earning new personal records in Solo Greater Rifts, the randomized dungeons in Adventure Mode.” These blood shards can be spent as one goes through Kadala in the town areas of the game.

Among the new items introduced in the patch are two new legendary potions, two new legendary gems and new armor sets for selected classes: Wizard, Barbarian and Demon Hunter.

Patch 2.2.0 also allows players to craft gems and items in quantities, rather than clicking through several items at once.

According to another report in Venture Capital Post, a PC gamer commented on the patch’s ability to give the player access to a bottomless potion instead of the usual regular health potions that run out.

The game is the third installment in the “Diablo” game franchise. It was first released in May and June 2012 for PC and OSX. The console version followed in September for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Next generation consoles got their version almost two years after, in 2014.

The main premise of the game is that players need to defeat the Lord of Terror, Diablo. Players need to choose one of six character classes – Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, Wizard or Crusader (this is only available with the expansion pack, “Reaper of Souls.”)

Christian Post Report – After Sony started pushing the Android 5.0 Lollipop updates to the Xperia Z2 and the Xperia Z3 Compact in March, the company recently announced that they will start rolling out the much awaited update to other Z series phones.

Starting April 13, Sony has the following phones lined up for updates: the Xperia Z Ultra, the Xperia Z3 Dual, the Xperia Z1 and the Xperia Z1 Compact.

According to a report in iDigitalTimes, the update will be made available through Over-The-Air or OTA. In order for phone owners to check if they are eligible for an update, they must go to Settings, then About Phone, then System Updates and select Check for Updates. The rollout is likely to happen in phases so users are advised to check for updates once in a while. It is also important that the phone is fully charged as downloading the update may take some time.

After this line up, the next Sony phones that will receive the update are the dual-SIM phones, the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia C3. The rollout for these will start next week.

A report in Tech Times cited that the next in line are the older Xperia Z phone models. This will complete Sony’s promise that the Lollipop update will be provided to its Xperia Z series. The models included are the Xperia Z, the Xperia ZR and the Xperia ZL. The Xperia Tablet Z is also said to receive the update.

The report also said that although Sony has made the update available to the said phones, rollout is still very much dependent on the different mobile carriers in the different countries.

Sony is one of the few mobile phone makers who made it a point to bring the OS update even to older models of its flagship phones, the Z series. Owners of non-Z series phones however are still waiting for news if the update will ever reach their phones.

Rumors have emerged OnePlus is getting ready to release not just one, but two smartphones for 2015 to add to its existing OnePlus One.

With the OnePlus Two reportedly due for release in the summer, speculations are running rife OnePlus may have another handset up its sleeve that’s ready for unveiling, as well.

The OnePlus Two is one of the most anticipated devices from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which intends to release its new flagship handset this June. However, there is talk arising another smartphone variation of the OnePlus Two will also be released.

The flagship’s rumored specs are touting a 5.5-inch display housed in a metal casing, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor running an OxygenOS-based Android 5.0 Lollipop, 4GB RAM, and 64GB expandable storage. The OnePlus Two will also contain a 3,300mAh battery and a 16MP rear camera. Recent reports have also suggest a fingerprint scanner will be included in its features.

With the specs lined up, pricing will play an important role in the success of the new handset, and while OnePlus has already gained a reputation of pricing its products reasonably enough so as not to burn a hole in consumers’ pockets, the OnePlus Two is likely to be significantly pricier compared to its predecessor.

Based on the premise of a higher price, OnePlus is reported to have prepared a more affordable variation of the flagship to give buyers the option of purchasing the budget version of the OnePlus Two if the price is too steep for them.

According to Bloomberg, in a recent visit to the company’s headquarters in Shenzhen, their reporter, who interviewed OnePlus senior executives, including the CEO, Peter Chou, submitted video coverage which is said to show footage of a second phone alongside the OnePlus Two.

The cheaper model of the flagship is reported to have a release date scheduled by the end of 2015.

This Thursday on “The Young and the Restless,” Stitch breaks up the fight between Billy and Adam while Victoria and Abby shout. Billy accidentally kicks Kelly’s ashes, and Ben yells at him, “Didn’t you and your brother kick my sister around enough when she was alive?” Billy apologizes, but Ben doesn’t want to hear it.

Later, Victoria tells Ben that he can come home since Sharon has been arrested. Ben says that the real killer is still out there. Billy approaches them to apologize to Ben again.

At the hospital, Joe tells Avery that there’s still no feeling in his legs, and though “that hasn’t changed, everything else has.” The doctor enters, and Joe tells him that he wants to start therapy as soon as possible. Avery tells him not to rush things. Later, Dylan arrives and brings Avery into the hall. He asks her to represent Sharon in court. Avery tells him that it’s not a good time right now. They hear a loud beeping noise from inside Joe’s room, and they find him on the floor.

Once he’s back on the hospital bed, Joe tells Avery that he’s scared. They talk about her turning down Sharon’s case, and Avery says that she isn’t sure that Sharon is innocent.

At the courthouse, Abby confronts Sharon, who maintains that she’s not the one who attacked her. Sharon tells Stitch that Michael believes that she’s innocent. Court is called into session, and Sharon pleads not guilty.

Michael and Dylan arrive, and Michael convinces the judge to let Sharon out on house arrest and he’ll act as her guardian. Later, Dylan tells Sharon that she is being set up.

Here’s what to expect on “The Young and the Restless” on Friday, April 17:

Michael and Dylan team up to help Sharon; Noah asks Sharon why she has Courtney’s necklace; Summer questions Abby about her relationship with Stitch; Adam tells Sage to be with Nick since he already gave her the divorce.

“The Young and the Restless” airs from Mondays to Fridays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.

Christian Post Report – Actor Johnny Depp is set to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the upcoming 5th sequel of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series franchise which is slated to be released on July 2017.

After being in murky waters it seems like “Pirates of the Caribbean” would have a second chance with “Dead Man Tell No Tales.” The fifth installment went through some challenges as Johnny Depp, who is reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, figured in an accident that necessitated a surgery.

The 51-year-old star was flown to the U.S. from their location shoot in Queensland to undergo a wrist surgery. Production was originally planned to be on hold for two weeks, citing the incident would only have “minimal effect” on the filming. The production break was extended for another two weeks while Depp recuperates from his accident in early March.

Recent developments point to resumption of production as Mal Tulloch, Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance director of entertainment shares with Gold Coast Bulletin that producers sent letters to the film’s cast and crew that principal photography would resume “on or about” April 20.

What can fans expect from this last installment?

The plot synopsis from IMDb reads:

“Thrust into an al-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea … including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artefact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.”

“Pirates of the Caribbean” started filming last February in Queensland after the Australian government granted them a $20 million tax incentive.

“Pirates of the Caribbean” casts include Johnny Depp, James Barden, Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom.
It is set for release on July 17, 2017.
