‘Invisible Inc.’ News: Coming to Steam on May 12, PS4 Version in Development

The turn-based stealth game “Invisible Inc.,” after letting gamers have an initial taste of its gameplay on Steam Early Access, will be heading for the PC via Steam on May 12. After this announcement was made, the Early Access version is no longer available.

The game’s publisher, Klei Entertainment announced that they want “everyone to experience the game in its fully realized version when it launches,” thus the need for the Early Access versions to become unavailable.

“If you already own the Early Access version, you can of course continue playing the development build,” a Klei Entertainment representative told Polygon. An initial version of the game was made available on Early Access in August 2014.

The other piece of good news is that a PlayStation 4 version of the game is under development as its exclusive console debut. There is no final word yet on when the PS4 version will be released, although according to an IGN report, the announcement trailer hinted a late 2015 or early 2016 release.

“Invisible Inc.” was dubbed by IGN as an “utterly compelling” game when it was reviewed last year. The game was created by Mark the Ninja and Don’t Starve. Gameplay involves playing a team of two Ghosts, or spies, as the case may be. Through a top-down view, the player controls each team member, who take turns doing tasks in order to pursue a single objective, which is to infiltrate an enemy base.

Each mission is played using a map, and every map is “procedurally generated” which means one cannot memorize the layout because it changes. Permadeath is one other unique thing about the game. Once a ghost is killed, they cannot be brought back.

The “Invisible Inc.” final PC version is reported to include two new 3D cinematics, agents, augments, modes and more, according to the developer.

Electronic Arts to Shut Down 4 Free-to-Play Games Soon

Christian Post Report – A gameplay screenshot of Need for Speed World.

Electronic Arts recently announced some sad news about some of their older free-to-play games online. Their older games namely “Battlefield Heroes,” “Battlefield Play4Free,” “Need for Speed World” and “FIFA World” will be taken offline 90 days from the day of the announcement.

In a blog post, EA’s Patrick Sodërlund said: “Some of our PC free-to-play games are not as popular as they once were. We find ourselves announcing the tough decision today that we are stopping development and winding down support for four free-to-play titles. These games will be live for another 90 days, after which they will go offline.”

The official shutdown of these four games is expected on July 14.

The blog post also mentioned that there are other free-to-play titles that are doing well, such as the “Star Wars: The Old Republic” and because of this, they are planning to introduce updates to this game later in the year.

EA also promised that despite the closure of these games, they “are always exploring new concepts and ways to bring great games to more players around the world.” They also acknowledged that the establishment of these games were “pioneering experiences.”

According to a report in Polygon, three of the four games in question have been live for years. “Battlefield Heroes” has been online since June 2009, while “Battlefield Play4Free” has been online since April 2011. Both games were developed by DICE and Easy Studios. One racing game, “Need for Speed World” was launched in July 2010, developed by EA Black Box and EA Singapore. “FIFA World” is relatively new, launched in May 2014, developed by EA Canada.

Not everyone agreed with EA’s assessment about these games’ supposed “unpopularity.” Some fans of the “Need for Speed World” game posted their disagreement on social media, saying that EA was wrong and that the game was still widely played worldwide.

‘Star Ocean 5’ News: Sequel is Coming to PS3 and PS4

Star Ocean 5 Title Card YouTube/File

Christian Post Report – YouTube screenshot of the game’s title card from announcement trailer.

Square Enix recently announced that a sequel to the action role-playing game “Star Ocean” is being developed for PS3 and PS4. The sequel entitled “Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness” was revealed on April 15, after several days of hints on the teaser site set up by Square Enix.

The fifth installment in the “Star Ocean” game franchise comes six years after the previous installment “Star Ocean: Last Hope” which was released in 2009. Although a release date has yet to be announced, Square Enix and the game’s developer, Tri-Ace have initially shared some screenshots of the game.

According to a report in Kotaku, the main character designer, the artist Akiman, designed all the character in the sequel. The game is set between the events of Star Ocean 2 and Star Ocean 3 and takes place in an uninhabited planet called Faicreed, which is 6,000 light years away from the Earth.

The game’s prologue, when translated in English, reveals the following: “Centuries after leaving Earth, after a multitude of trials, with the creation and spread of the ‘Galactic Federation’, humanity was on the verge of unified order and peace. But the embers of conflict have begun to burn again. Over 6,000 light years from Earth, on the unsettled planet, ‘Faicreed.’ Just as so many times before, the waves of history begin from a remote planet.”

Space travel still remains as the main premise of the game. It also supposedly retains its real time battle strategies, which it was a pioneer of since the first 1996 “Star Ocean” game. Its use of real time battle engines allows for “seamless real time battles” which meant that all characters “are fully mobile in three dimensions, can dodge and chase foes, and must cast their spells and deploy attacks despite enemy harassment.”

The game’s main protagonist, Fidel Camus returns as well as his childhood friend, Miki. They meet new playable characters along the way. A report in DualShockers says that some of the game’s screenshots also show non-playable characters who are somehow involved in battles.

‘Muslim Hardline’ Gunmen Open Fire on Catholic School in Pakistan; Injured Christian Student Taken to Hospital

Members of the Pakistani Christian community hold candles during a protest rally to condemn Sunday’s suicide attack in Peshawar on a church, with others in Lahore, September 23, 2013. A pair of suicide bombers blew themselves up outside the 130-year-old Anglican church in Pakistan after Sunday mass, killing at least 78 people in the deadliest attack on Christians in the predominantly Muslim country.

Christian Post Report – Two masked gunmen on motorcycles, believed to be Muslim, open fired on the campus of a Pakistani Catholic school in Lahore Friday morning, injuring one Christian student and two security guards.

The two gunmen began firing at the campus of St. Franciscan High School in the Behar colony of Lahore, the second largest Christian residential area in Pakistan, around 10:30 a.m. The masked perpetrators were able to race away on their motorcycles and were not identified.

Police have begun an investigation into the attack on the school, according to prominent Pakistani human rights attorney Sardar Mushtaq Gill, who told The Christian Post that the school shooting is yet another attack on the Lahore Christian community following the Youhanabad lynchings of two Muslims thought to be involved in the mid-march Taliban bombings of two Christian churches.

“They were [two] masked men, armed on motorcycles. They were masked with their faces covered,” Gill explained. “It was in front of school. When they started firing, the guard intercepted. After making them injured, they fled away.”

The unnamed injured Christian student was taken to a medical facility for treatment, where Gill says his condition is improving.

“He is a Christian student and was admitted to the hospital,” Gill explained. “Just a few minutes ago, I received a phone call from our colleague and he told me that the condition is better.”

Although the gunmen remain at-large and their motive remains unconfirmed, Gill said he believes the shooting was a clear act of Muslim extremism and continues with the trend of attacks on Christians designed to intimidate the Lahore Christian community.

“Definitely,” Gill said, when asked if he believes the two gunmen are Muslim. “Because, after the incident of Youhanabad, this kind of incident is very, very common and … the wave of hatred is very bad among the Muslims and they are taking advantage. This is definitely that they are from the hardline, Muslim hardline.”

Gill compared Friday’s attack at St. Franciscan High School to an attack on March 24, where masked gunmen on motorcycles open fired outside the Church of St. Peter in Lahore, injuring two bystanders.

“[In] March, the same kind of incident happened in another area of Lahore in front of one church and a school,” Gill said. “Two persons came and started firing on a security guard, making them injured and fled away. This is also the same kind of incident.”

On Thursday, Muslim extremists in Karachi shot and wounded a U.S. national named Debra Lobo, who works as a vice principal at the Jinnah Medical and Dental College. Police officials said two gunmen on motorbikes were involved in Lobo’s shooting, as they attacked her in her car while she was on the way to the college.

Officials also found Islamic State leaflets at the scene of the crime. However, it is not clear whether the gunmen were acting on behalf of the Islamic State or whether the leaflets were designed to throw off an investigation.

Gill said Lobo’s shooting was consistent with the hatred that Pakistani Muslim extremists have toward the United States and Americans.

“She was over there as a vice principal in the dental medical college and she was also targeted by the hand of the activists, the group who do activity of terrorism,” Gill said. “In Pakistan, the Muslims have hatred toward America, definately due to this … war on terror. America is in war on terror and due to this, hatred toward Americans is common in Pakistan.”

Last Friday, a 15-year-old Christian boy was beaten and set on fire in Lahore after answering truthfully when asked by two Muslim men whether he was a Christian or Muslim. Five days later, the boy died from the burns that covered 55 percent of his body.

“This kind of thing is happening because they want to make us terrified,” Gill, whose own brother was recently shot by Muslims, told CP.

‘Revenge’ Season 4 News, Spoilers: Amanda Continues to Face the Consequences, Will The Show Get a Renewal?

<b>Christian Post Report</b> – ABC’s “Revenge”” title=”<b>Christian Post Report</b> – ABC’s “Revenge”” name=”jpg” src=”http://images.christianpost.com/full/82184/abcs-revenge.jpg” class=”imgPhoto” width=”550″ height=”450″ /> <small class=FACEBOOK/ Revenge

Christian Post Report – ABC’s “Revenge”

Events are getting more exciting and intense as the hit TV drama series “Revenge” approaches its culmination with only about a handful of episodes left in its current fourth season.

This week’s showing, called “Burn,” will see Victoria Grayson (Madeline Stowe) getting attacked by someone. The synopsis posted on The Futon Critic points out that the Grayson matriarch will take the matters in her own hands and will be determined to find the perpetrator behind the assault.

Emily (Emily van Camp), on the other hand, is said to come into terms “with what she really wants” in her life now that she has already revealed her true identity as Amanda Clark.

In the previous episode, Emily/Amanda has made it clear that she wants to live a life devoid of lies. Her choice, as good as it sounds, will somehow backfire in an unpleasant way.

A report from VC Post said that her decision to come out in the open could also mean losing the people whom she didn’t realized was right behind her all along.

Citing a slew of promo photos posted by ABC, it was revealed that on Episode 20, Emily’s childhood friend Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler), along with his son Carl, will be moving out from the Hamptons.

The father and son were seen in an airstrip boarding a plane. Although it seems that Jack is determined to turn his back from the chaos the place has caused him, it appears that he’s waiting for some very important message from a person close to his heart. Could this mean that he will change his mind?

Meanwhile, a report from TV Line clarified the talks of whether or not the series gets a renewal.

“Based on what I’m hearing about the finale, there would have to be a major revamp if the show returns for a fifth season. Actually, forget revamp — there’d have to be a whole new show,” Ausiello from TV Line said.

For the meantime, “Revenge” Season 4 airs this Sunday, April 19 on ABC.

It Takes One to Make One

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
— Matthew 28:18-20

Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California and Harvest Orange County in Irvine, California, shares the Gospel with a sold-out crowd of 19,000 for Harvest America at the American Airlines Center and Victory Park in Dallas, Texas, Oct. 5, 2014.

Christian Post Report – To be growing Christians, we must be disciples of Jesus Christ. Why? Because Jesus told us to go into all the world and make disciples. It takes one to make one. So first we have to know what a disciple is so that we can then go and make other disciples.

In Matthew 28 we find what is known as the Great Commission, where Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (verses 19–20).

What has Jesus told us to do? Go. Go where? Into all the world. And do what? Make disciples of all the nations.

There are two things in the original language of the Great Commission that we need to understand. First, it is a command. Jesus wasn’t saying, “If you can work it into your busy schedules, would you mind—as a personal favor to Me—to please go. . . .” Rather, Jesus was saying, “You have submitted your life to Me. I am ordering you now to go into all the world.”

Second, these words are given to every follower of Jesus—young and old, men and women, new believers and older believers.

It is not the Great Suggestion; it is the Great Commission. The commission of the church is not to wait for the world to show up. Rather, the commission of the church is to go to the world. Every follower of Jesus should be doing this.

So here is my question for you: Are you doing this? If we are not making disciples of others, then we are not really being the disciples that Jesus wants us to be.

‘Constantine’ Renewal News, Update: Show Not Cancelled, Season 2 A Possibility

Constantine Youtube Screenshot/ file

Christian Post Report – Matt Ryan as John Constantine

There have been a slew of reports earlier this month indicating that the hit NBC supernatural TV drama series “Constantine” has already been officially cancelled.

The recent news, however, shed light on the real situation of the TV series which was based off from the characters appearing in the comicbook, Hellblazer.

The one to bash all rumors was the show’s executive producer Daniel Cerone who said that the network is still eyeing for a second helping of the Matt Ryan-led show in a statement he released with ComicBook.com.

“I just received confirmation from the corporate offices at NBC. I was assured that Constantine has not been canceled and our pitch meeting to discuss a potential second season remains on the books,” he said in a statement. “By the way, this is a pitch meeting involving the president of Warner Bros and and the entertainment heads of NBC. Nobody at this incredibly busy time of the development season has time to waste taking pointless meetings.”

“Now, is it fair to say that Constantine is a long shot? Sure, that’s fair to say. While we marginally improved a tough time slot for NBC, we’re a very expensive show to produce. A lot of NBC’s decision making will not doubt hinge on their new pilots and how they feel those new shows would fare as a companion piece to Grimm, versus a second season of Constantine,” he added.

Apparently, there’s still a glimmer of hope which fans can still hold on to. Even though the showrunner said that it’s likely “a long shot” at least there’s still a shot for a “Constantine” Season 2.

New Spider-Man Film News, Update: Robert Downey Jr. Says New Reboot Will ‘Defy Expectations’

<b>Christian Post Report</b> – Spider-Man” title=”<b>Christian Post Report</b> – Spider-Man” name=”jpg” src=”http://images.christianpost.com/full/81129/spider-man.jpg” class=”imgPhoto” width=”550″ height=”450″ /> <small class=FACEBOOK/ Christian Post Report – Spider-Man

Christian Post Report – Spider-Man

From what was heard, the upcoming Christian Post Report – Spider-Man reintroduction, which will commence in the next Captain America movie (“Captain America: Civil War”), will focus on a teenage Peter Parker and that there won’t be a new origin.

“In terms of the age of what we believe Peter Parker is, I’d say 15-16 is right. Some of my favorite Christian Post Report – Spider-Man arcs and Christian Post Report – Spider-Man stories, he’s in high school for a lot of it. We want to explore that,” Marvel’s head Kevin Feige previously told Collider.

A report from IGN meanwhile cited the Iron Man actor, Robert Downey Jr., saying that fans “should expect the unexpected” when “Captain America 3” hit the theaters this May 6, 2016 and then on his future stand-alone movie, which is eyed for a 2017 release date.

“However we spin it, we’re going to try and defy the expectation of what it would mean,” Downey said. “That’s been the directive from jump. But I think that a great job has been done with Christian Post Report – Spider-Man so far. And I think that the direction that Christian Post Report – Spider-Man is going to take is exactly what the fans would be delighted to see.”

Feige, on the other hand, speaks with the publication that fans will see more of the web-slinger’s iconic comic book wit and humor when he returns to the big screen.

“When he puts that mask on, in the comics, he has a non-stop wit that’s almost as troubling to the bad guys he fights as his webs and agility. We feel we haven’t really seen that yet.”
