In their final meeting of the season, the St. Louis Blues host the Chicago Blackhawks at the Scottrade Center in the NHL. The game will be played on April 9, 2015 at 8 p.m. ET.

Both teams have secured their places in the playoffs and are battling for seeding as the two teams head into the closing stages of the year.

Currently, the Blues hold the top spot in the Central Division with 105 points, but Chicago is only three points behind and can close the gap with a win.

The Blues have won three of their last four matches but had their three-game win streak snapped with a 1-0 home loss to the Winnipeg Jets. Before the loss, St. Louis beat the Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars and the Blackhawks.

On the other hand, Chicago also had a four-game win streak before their prior meeting with St. Louis. Following the loss to St. Louis, Chicago also lost to the Minnesota Wild in their final home game of the season.

Chicago and St. Louis have met four times this season, with both teams winning two games each to set-up an intense season series decider.

Their first meeting was in Missouri with the Blues winning 3-2. Patrick Sharp opened the scoring for Chicago but goals from Jaden Schwartz, Ryan Reaves and Dmitrij Jaskin gave the Blues the lead. Kris Versteeg scored a consolation goal for the Blackhawks but it was a night for the hosts.

Chicago rebounded with another home win before the two teams split their road games.

In their last meeting earlier in the month, the Blackhawks took a 1-0 lead behind a goal from Versteeg but David Backes and Olli Jokinen scored in the second period to complete the comeback and get important points against their rivals.

‘Quantum Break’ Release Date Delay on Xbox One: Not Coming Until 2016

Christian Post Report – “Quantum Break,” another anticipated video game exclusive to the Xbox One will no longer be released in 2015 as originally scheduled. The game’s developers, Remedy Entertainment made the announcement Thursday last week.

According a Tech Times report, no reason was given for the delay. Remedy’s creative director Sam Lake addressed fans:

“We thank our fans for their patience, and want them to know that the team is taking advantage of this opportunity to polish and fine tune the game to create the kind of standout entertainment experience they’ve come to expect from us.”

The report also cited that delays seemed to be common for next generation consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This was not the first delay announced this year – “Uncharted 4” of Sony and “Zelda” of Nintendo are included in the delay list, and so were “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “Halo 5.” This seems to be the norm for games such as these, according to the report.

“Quantum Break” is a third-person shooter action game that will be published by Microsoft and developed by Remedy Entertainment. Some reports describe it as a “risky title” and like most of the other games made for next generation consoles, are ambitious because they are supposed to be “designed to take full advantages” of the system.

“Quantum Break” employs a different type of gameplay. In the game, players have the ability to manipulate time and the game will be played in segments. What will happen in the next segment is determined by the choices that the player makes. Once a segment is finished, players need to watch an episode of a TV series that is being developed in conjunction with the game, which is supposed to help them make their choices in the game. There is no word yet on where and how the live-action series will be broadcast.

Teresa Giudice Prison News Update: Guards Confiscate Secret Cellphone Containing Pictures of Giudice

Christian Post Report – After three months behind bars, people finally got a glimpse of Teresa Giudice as a new picture of her posing with her family at Danbury prison was released by Us Weekly. The photo was allegedly sold to the magazine for $75,000. However, it appears that one of her fellow inmates is also hoping to make some money out of Guidice’s jail sentence as the website reports that she has been secretly taking photos of the reality star in hopes of selling the candid shots.

According to Radar Online, authorities at the Federal Corrections Institute in Danbury, Connecticut “recently confiscated the cellphone of a female inmate.”

“She had smuggled it in,” the source said “She had candid photos of Teresa all around the prison. Doing yoga, exercising, and more. The woman was trying to get photos out to sell them.”

The insider reveals that not only was the inmate unable to secure the deal with media outlets, but now, “That inmate has been disciplined and moved to another prison.”

Meanwhile, another source tells the website that Giudice is fearing for her safety when prison guards allegedly uncovered a serious threat against her.

“Teresa has confided in people that she has grave concerns for her security,” the insider told Radar. “In the last couple of weeks, prison authorities have determined that a plane has been flying over the track to take photos of her.”

The source said that prison officials have asked the reality star to change her routine and “not to go out to the track to avoid this happening.”

Giudice is serving 15 months in jail for bank fraud. She is expected to be released in February 2016.

The Detroit Red Wings faceoff against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre in the NHL. The game is on April 9, 2015 and starts at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Both coming from the highly competitive Atlantic Division, the Canadiens are already assured a place in the playoffs as they are on top of the group with only two matches remaining on their schedule.

On the other hand, Detroit are still battling for a place in the post-season as they are neck-to-neck with the Boston Bruins for either the final qualifying spot or a wild-card place.

Detroit’s form has been poor lately, with only three wins in their last nine matches. However, with the season winding down, they broke that slump and won their last game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

In the 3-2 victory, Henrik Zetterberg scored the match’s opening goal in the first two minutes of the second period. However, Carolina fought back and took the lead with two goals late in the period. Detroit found a way to bounce back and goals from Gustav Nyquist and Pavel Datsyuk ensured that they finished the game with two points.

After their match with the Canadiens, the Red Wings are set to meet the Hurricanes again for their final game of the season.

Meanwhile, the Canadiens are trying to secure the top seed in the Atlantic as they are currently lead the Tampa Bay Lightning by two points.

They are also trying to recover from a slump as they have only won two games in their last seven.

In their most recent match, they beat the Florida Panthers 4-1 behind goals from Tomas Plekanec, Brendan Gallagher, Pierre-Alexandre Parenteau and Devante Smith-Pelly.

Heading into their final meeting of the season, the teams have met thrice so far, with the Canadiens dominating with a 3-0 lead in the series. The last time they met in Canada, Montreal won 2-1 in an overtime victory.

Pacquiao vs Mayweather Fight 2015 News: Mayweather Rejects $5 Million Penalty if He Fails Drug Test

Christian Post Report – Floyd Mayweather Jr. has refused to agree to a $5 million fine should either he or Manny Pacquiao fail a drug test, according to the Filipino boxer’s adviser, Michael Koncz.

“Today we were informed that Mayweather turned down the request,” Koncz told ESPN. “Manny had requested that there would be a reciprocal fine of $5 million for a failed drug test.”

The details of the drug testing were not written into the fight contract but were instead included in a separate agreement. Mayweather’s adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, said that Koncz should have had those terms negotiated into the main contract.

“Manny Pacquiao should be ashamed to have [Michael Koncz] as his representative, in my opinion,” said Ellerbe to ESPN.com. “It’s obvious he didn’t read the contract. Why would he have his fighter sign something he was not happy with? The deal was negotiated up and down by his promoter [Bob Arum of Top Rank] on behalf of Manny with Floyd and Mayweather Promotions, and it’s been well documented in the media for some time.”

Drug testing was one of the main reasons for a collapse in negotiations five years ago. When both sides first negotiated the bout in late 2009 and early 2010, they had agreed to all aspects of the deal except for the drug-testing protocol. Mayweather insisted on random, Olympic-style blood and urine testing, but Pacquiao declined to agree to the specific form drug testing.

Not long after that, Pacquiao sued Mayweather for defamation and slander for saying that he had used performance-enhancing drugs, which Pacquiao has repeatedly denied. The case was ultimately settled out of court with Mayweather paying Pacquiao an undisclosed seven-figure sum.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Pacquiao was tested for the first time last Saturday when he ws visited in Los Angeles. The boxers’ historic fight will take place on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

‘Justice League’ Movie Plot Spoilers, News: Shows a ‘Darker Side’ of Superman and Batman

Christian Post Report – When DC announced in September 2014 that it was working on a new animated short series and animated feature of the “Justice League,” they did say that it will not be based on the storyline of the original 2001 comic book, but will instead be based on an original narrative to be written by Alan Burnett of “The Batman Animated Series” and “Batman Beyond.”

Bruce Timm returns as executive producer for the series and the feature film. He is said to have contributed a lot in character development and the story, according to Screen Rant. Timm is known for his work in creating and building “the modern DC animated universe and franchise.”

The recently released trailer for new “Justice League” shows an entirely different take on the heroic trinity of Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman. Another Screen Rant report describes it as portraying “a darker animated DC Universe,” with the heroes not only sporting different costumes, but also having different personalities.

Superman here is apparently a son of General Zod and is shown to be more violent and quick-tempered. Batman is not Bruce Wayne but Kirk Langstrom, who becomes a pseudo-vampire because of the bat venom that he used to try and cure his cancer. He now feeds on the blood of criminals in order to live. Wonder Woman is no longer an Amazon, but is the wife of Orion and is one of the New Gods. In the film and in the series, they still form the Justice League that is being persecuted for allegedly causing the massacre of a group of scientists.

The animated series entitled “Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles,” which will comprise of three parts, will be shown on Machinima within the second quarter of 2015. The animated feature will be released direct to video soon after the series.

Christian Post Report – Since they started dating, Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have kept mum about their relationship and the couple tries to do as much as they can to keep the media from prying into their lives. Now, the newly engaged pair is reportedly looking into a low-key wedding when they tie the knot sometime this year.

According to a source from People, Pattinson’s parents, Richard and Claire Pattinson, “would really want a church wedding” but Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, “wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding.”

The source adds that Pattinson and Barnett are hoping to get married this summer, though plans are “not definite.”

Sources confirmed the stars’ engagement to People on April 1 after T-Pain, who originally broke the news to Vulture, tried to write it off as an April Fools’ joke. Another source tells the magazine that Pattinson seems “much more calm and happy” around Barnett after his devastating split with his “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart back in 2013. The couple has been dating for six months and reportedly exchanged promise rings earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Radar Online is reporting that Stewart was apparently enraged upon learning about Pattinson and Barnett’s engagement. According to the website’s source, the actress is letting people know that she doesn’t care about the engagement, but everyone in her circle allegedly knows that “that is not the case.”

“Kristen was with Rob for several years and he never gave her the option of marriage,” said the insider. “Every time she tried to bring it up he would always shoot her down and say he was not ready. The fact that he was all of a sudden ready just really annoys her.”
