Christian Post Report – The Ghostbusters logo

Capcom and Beeline have just announced they are looking for beta testers to go through their latest collaborative title, which is a new “Ghostbusters” game being developed for iPhone.

Based on the classic 1980s film, Japanese game developer Capcom its partner, Beeline Interactive, are currently working on a new “Ghostbusters” game for iPhone and are calling on interested gamer volunteers to participate in their beta testing program.

Whether the game’s launch will coincide with the either of the two “Ghostbusters” film sequels in mid-2016 has not yet been announced. Beeline’s online ad seeking beta testers does not contain much information other than invite interested players to take a survey to qualify:

“Beeline is looking for a few folks to participate in a beta test for an upcoming Ghostbusters iPhone game. If you’re interested please complete the following survey,” the ad reads.

The survey requires volunteers to input their basic information, including their age, gender, education, employment status, and mobile game habits.

The upcoming ghost fighting iOS game won’t be the first time the game genre has borrowed from the popular ’80s sci-fi flick. A “Ghostbusters” pinball application was launched for iOS devices last October, which followed shooter game, “Respawnables,” which recently released updates for the app containing “Ghostbusters” content.

Beeline also has a previous free tower defense “Ghostbusters” game on the Apple App Store, as well.

Online game reviewer and iOS gaming site TouchArcade speculates Beeline’s putting out an ad for beta testers may point toward the new “Ghostbusters” game being a freemium title.

Details of the upcoming Capcom and Beeline “Ghostbusters” collaboration have yet to be revealed, including the possibility of a tie-in with the all-male and all-female versions of the sequel.

‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Season 5: Reunion Show Part 1 Recap, Lisa Rinna Hits Back at Kim Richards

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Bravotv/ The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Christian Post Report – Lisa Rinna hits back at Kim Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show

It’s time for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” to sit down and rehash everything that went down during season 5 of the show, and in part 1 of the reunion show, the ladies, along with host Andy Cohen, got right down to business as feuds were discussed, insults were thrown, and one of them leaves.

Yolanda Foster talked about her current health struggles, and updated everyone how her daughters, Gigi and Bella, are doing so well in their respective endeavors. She also talked about why she stayed friends with Brandi even though everyone else has turned against her. She said that Brandi is hurting and that she shouldn’t be dismissed because of it. Later, she starts feeling unwell and tells Cohen that she needs to “go to bed.” She hugs the other ladies and leaves.

When Brandi Glanville mentioned that some people might have thought that Lisa Rinna was skinny because she’s anorexic, Lisa said that the only reason why she’s too thin this season is because she’s stressed about her parents. Later, Kim Richards mocks Lisa for doing a Depends commercial, but she reminds them that she made more than a million dollars for that commercial—and at least, she told Kim that she’d never do “Dancing With the Stars” like Kim did.

Lisa Vanderpump says that Brandi’s drinking is the least of her issues with her, it’s just that she always goes too far, just like when she threw water at Eileen Davidson, and that time when Brandi slapped her for no apparent reason.

Brandi says that she only drinks on the show so that she could deal with the other ladies. She also complains that the other women have started labelling her as alcoholic when they don’t have any proof.

Later, Cohen asks Lisa V. if it’s possible for her to be friends with Brandi again. She says no. For her, the slap, plus Brandi’s unpredictable behavior and vicious accusations makes it impossible for them to be friends again. Brandi insists that the slap was playful, and Cohen likens her behavior to that of a frisky dog, who bites after being carried away. At this, Brandi snaps at him, “I’ve taken enough abuse. I’m not taking it from you too.”

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion show continues at 8 p.m. on April 7 and 14 on Bravo.

‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 7: Episode 20 Recap ‘From Zen to Sin’

Real Housewives of Atlanta Bravotv/ The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Christian Post Report – After two years of feuding, Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks make up and share a laugh on The Real Housewives of Atlanta

Last Sunday on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the unexpected happened as Phaedra Parks and Kenya Moore made up, and the housewives had a blast as they went on a horseback ride to a volcano.

The ladies are still in Manila and are about to check out of the spa. They get on a chartered bus and Porsha and Demetria decide to have a little dance off in the bus. They arrive at the hotel and check in at the posh accommodations.

Claudia arranges a horseback ride to the top of Taal Volcano for everybody, and the ladies appear to enjoy it as they took in the scenery, marveling at the volcano which is right in the middle of a lake. They also hit a few golf balls before getting back on the horses.

When they get to the bottom of a volcano, Phaedra has an emotional moment with her tour guide, who told her on the way down that her husband passed away a few years ago and that she has five children to support. Phaedra gives her some money and tells her through a translator that she doesn’t want her to give up, and that her story has blessed her.

Back at the hotel, Claudia hosts a pajama party, and everyone notices that Kenya and Phaedra are missing. Claudia tells them that the two are having a heart-to-heart talk.

At their one-on-one, Kenya tells Phaedra that she has a tendency to interrupt, so she wants to give her the floor to say what she’s feeling.

The two had their differences ever since Apollo lied about Kenya propositioning him. Though he already admitted that he lied, Phaedra had a hard time trusting Kenya.

“Hurt people do things to hurt other people sometimes,” said Phaedra. “I can’t change the past. I can only move forward. I’m ready to move forward, I’ve been ready.”

Kenya tells her that she was hurt by the name calling and that it hurt her reputation.

“You didn’t even treat me like a human being,” said Kenya. “I have never seen him in L.A. I have never propositioned him. I have never crossed a line with him, nor have I ever wanted to. I just need you to believe that.”

“Your slate is clear with me,” Phaedra sobs.

After the air clears, they agree to work on their relationship when they return to Atlanta. Phaedra invites Kenya to go to church with her when they get back. The two ends their conversation with a prayer and a hug.

The next day, over their last meal in the Philippines, the ladies applaud Phaedra and Kenya for doing the work. They all agree that Dr. Jeff really made an impact as for once, there’s peace among the housewives at last.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 20: Week 4 Performances and Scores Recap ‘Most Memorable Year’

Dancing with the Stars Facebook/ Dancing With the Stars

Christian Post Report – Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd on Dancing with the Stars

Monday night’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars” was an emotional one for the celebrity contestants as they recalled their most memorable year ever. While some told stories about their most triumphant moments, others talked about the time when they struggled with bullying, emotional pain, and challenges that they managed to overcome. The judges and audience members were moved to tears at some of the performances, and one pair almost got a perfect score at the end of the night, while another had to leave the competition for good.

Derek Hough and Nastia Liukin
Dance: Argentine Tango
Score: 36 (out of 40)

Nastia picked 2008 as her most memorable year as she won her Olympic gold in gymnastics that time. Their tango to “Variations on Dark Eyes”—which is the same song she performed to at the Olympics—was praised by the judges, and Julianne Hough told her, “You nailed it in 2008, and you nailed it tonight.” The pair also got the first 10 of the season from Bruno Tonioli.

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Rumba
Score: 30

2014 was a memorable year for Michael, but not for happy reasons: he came out to his father, who denounced him to the media. Their rumba to “I’m Not My Father’s Son” left Michael in tears. “You should be very proud of yourself. It takes guts to make a stand in the world,” an emotional Bruno said.

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker
Dance: Tango
Score: 34

Riker said that 2014 was memorable for him because that’s when his band, R5, really took off and got on the radio. “I see improvement and it’s fantastic to watch,” said Carrie Ann Inaba of their tango.

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson
Dance: Waltz
Score:34

Robert said that 2006 was when his mother passed away of cancer. Though it was a sad year, their waltz was classy and happy, and a fitting tribute to his mother, who loved watching the show. Len Goodman said that it was his best dance. “You have the best technique and footwork of all the guys,” said Julianne.

Chris Soules and Witney Carson
Dance: Rumba
Score: 27

Chris picked 2014 as his most memorable year—when he got picked as the new “Bachelor” and found his fiancée, Whitney Bischoff. Though Bruno said that their performance was genuine and honest, Julianne pointed out that they need to have more chemistry.

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev
Dance: Jazz
Score: 30

Patti danced to honor 1973, the year her son was born. Their jazz number was likened to a cup of cappuccino by Len, who said that it was “light and fluffy, fun and full of rhythm.” “That was out of control!” Carrie Ann said.

Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Waltz
Score: 35

Rumer talked about how growing up with famous parents had its benefits, but it also put her in the spotlight as tabloids made fun of her looks. She said that her dance to honor 2014 was for her sister, who went to rehab at the time, and for all those who were bullied for the way they looked. “You’re dancing for every girl,” said Julianne. Bruno said that the dance was a reflection of who Rumer is: “beautiful, powerful, and unique.”

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 28

Suzanne said that her most memorable year was 1977, which was the year when she got a role in ‘Three’s Company’ and her life changed. They included a short skit of the sitcom in their foxtrot, and Julianne said that Suzanne was “totally in your element.”

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas
Dance: Contemporary
Score: 39

Willow said that 2011 was her most memorable year because that was when she was cast in ‘The Hunger Games’. Their contemporary dance got raves from the judges and earned them three perfect 10s. “It is great to see somebody so young doing so well,” said Bruno. “That was fantastic,” said Len.

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess
Dance: Contemporary
Score: 32

Noah’s most memorable year was 2005, when, during his second deployment to Iraq, he didn’t see a trip wire on the road and it blew up. He woke up nine days later to discover that he lost an arm and a leg. He said that he got depressed, but eventually he accepted it and was able to move on. The judges were moved to tears, and Julianne said, “You astonish us every single week.” Bruno said, “You want a super hero, there he is.”

In the end, Michael Sam was eliminated. “Please give my partner a hand, she was amazing,” said Michael of Peta. “I had a great time, I had an awesome time experience.”

“Dancing With the Stars” airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Fox Releases 4 ‘Fantastic Four’ Featurettes (VIDEO)

Fantastic Four FACEBOOK/ Fantastic Four

Christian Post Report – “Fantastic Four”

After the untimely release of a movie billboard overseas that went viral on social media, Fox is remedying the marketing gaffe with the release of four featurettes for the re-imagined “Fantastic Four” film that opens at the end of summer.

Fox is making up for the untimely reveal of its upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot via a poorly rendered and much criticized overseas billboard by releasing four new videos featuring the cast of characters for the movie due in theaters by August.

The clips don’t include much footage from the upcoming film, but includes a discussion of the cast members and the major roles they play in the movie. According to the film’s producer, Simon Kinberg, who also wrote “Fantastic Four,” the focal point was for the reboot to be a “dramatic and grounded retelling,” leading to the decision to cast dramatic actors for the major roles.

Miles Teller, who plays main protagonist, the ultra stretchable Mr. Fantastic, fresh from his successes in “Whiplash” and “Insurgent,” initially tried out for one of the roles in the 2012 sci-fi thriller, “Chronicle,” but was pinpointed as perfect for the Reed Richards role instead.

The Invisible Woman, Sue Storm, played by “Transcendence” actress Kate Mara, went through auditions to test for on-screen chemistry with her movie sibling, played by “That Awkward Moment” actor, Michael B. Jordan, and the strong “brotherly-sisterly dynamic” between her and Jordan pointed to Mara as the most suitable actress to play Sue.

For his part as the Human Torch, Jordan has, according to Kinberg and director, Josh Trank, taken on Johnny Storm’s personality both on screen and off, portraying a “smart, hilarious and charismatic” character who can spontaneously burst into flame.

One of the unlikeliest actors to play The Thing, “Snowpiercer” actor Jamie Bell, is covering unchartered territory by playing a character type audiences have never seen him play before. The lithe and slight English actor will take on The Thing’s massive orange rock façade, and whether he will be basing Ben Grimm’s character straight from the comic books or taking up where Michael Chiklis left off from the two previous films is yet to be seen.

The “Fantastic Four” reboot will be out in North American theaters on August 7, 2015.

Christian Post Report – Zedd posted this picture on his Instagram account one day before the debut of his new song with Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez and Zedd have yet to confirm their relationship, but the singer-actress and EDM DJ can’t stop gushing about each other in recent interviews. Selena said that he has “beautiful eyes,” while Zedd called Selena’s voice “perfect.”

Now, a source tells Hollywood Life that Selena thinks that Zedd would make a great husband and father.

“Selena definitely wants to have kids one day,” said the source. “She thinks Zedd is marriage material and perfect dad material. They’ve talked about kids and both of them want a big family.”

“Selena says wherever they go, babies and little kids always gravitate towards Zedd because he’s so silly and fun to be around. Plus, she says he’s super patient,” the insider added.

Presently, Selena is busy filming the period film “In Dubious Battle” in Atlanta, Georgia, while Zedd is promoting his new album “True Colors.” Despite their busy schedules, the source says that Zedd plans to visit Selena in Atlanta, just like he did when he visited her on the set of “The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving” back in January.

“Once she’s settled in to the shoot he’ll go visit her on set. They’re low key but they’re still totally on,” said the insider to the website. “Zedd is one of her cheerleaders. He tells her all the time how talented she is and how amazing she is … he’s just the sweetest guy.”

The two recently collaborated on the hit song “I Want You To Know” and Zedd revealed that they will be working on more songs together in the future.

When asked about how he finds working with Gomez on the music video, the DJ said, “I think what I learned is she’s extremely talented with dealing with being in the press all the time and being everywhere and not being bothered by that. I find it extremely inspiring that you can shut off and kind of do your thing and not be bothered by other people.”

Christian Post Report – Actress Eva Mendes arrives at the Hollywood screening of her movie “Holy Motors” during AFI FEST in Los Angeles, California November 3, 2012.

Eva Mendes, who starred in 2008’s “2 Fast 2 Furious,” is rumored to be making a return for the eighth installment of the “Fast and Furious” franchise, a new report emerged.

With the runaway success of “Furious 7,” which shattered the box office records for April, an eighth film is reportedly in the works, and will see the return of previous “2 Fast 2 Furious” alumnus Eva Mendes.

According to information recently come to light, the franchise will be moving their filming location for “Fast & Furious 8” to New York. According to actor Vin Diesel, who plays lead protagonist and elite racer, Dominic Toretto in the films, Mendes will once again don the persona of U.S. Customs Agent Monica Fuentes.

In the sequel to the first film, Agent Fuentes played an undercover character who teamed up with Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) to bring down Miami drug lord, Carter Verone (Cole Hauser).

In a brief and uncredited cameo, Mendes also appeared as Agent Fuentes in 2011’s “Fast Five” when she alerted Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) to evidence Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), who was killed off in 2009’s “Fast & Furious 4,” was alive and working for villain, Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).

What capacity Mendes’ role will encompass in the next franchise installment has yet to be announced, including who the director, returning cast members and supporting players for “Fast & Furious 8” will be.

“Fast & Furious 8” has already been confirmed to be the first part of a new trilogy, Diesel stated during a “Jimmy Kimmel Live” appearance. With the previous installments set in some of the world’s major metropolitan cities, including Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo, and London, the new film will be shot with the Empire State Building as its backdrop.

Diesel also revealed the storyline for the eighth movie may include a much bigger role for Mr. Nobody, the black ops guru played by veteran star Kurt Russell in “Furious 7.”

‘Quantum Break’ Delayed to 2016

Quantum Break screenshot YouTube/File

Christian Post Report – A screenshot of Quantum Break title card.

“Quantum Break,” another anticipated video game exclusive to the Xbox One will no longer be released in 2015 as originally scheduled. The game’s developers, Remedy Entertainment made the announcement Thursday last week.

According a Tech Times report, no reason was given for the delay. Remedy’s creative director Sam Lake addressed fans:

“We thank our fans for their patience, and want them to know that the team is taking advantage of this opportunity to polish and fine tune the game to create the kind of standout entertainment experience they’ve come to expect from us.”

The report also cited that delays seemed to be common for next generation consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This was not the first delay announced this year – “Uncharted 4” of Sony and “Zelda” of Nintendo are included in the delay list, and so were “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “Halo 5.” This seems to be the norm for games such as these, according to the report.

“Quantum Break” is a third-person shooter action game that will be published by Microsoft and developed by Remedy Entertainment. Some reports describe it as a “risky title” and like most of the other games made for next generation consoles, are ambitious because they are supposed to be “designed to take full advantages” of the system.

“Quantum Break” employs a different type of gameplay. In the game, players have the ability to manipulate time and the game will be played in segments. What will happen in the next segment is determined by the choices that the player makes. Once a segment is finished, players need to watch an episode of a TV series that is being developed in conjunction with the game, which is supposed to help them make their choices in the game. There is no word yet on where and how the live-action series will be broadcast.

Warner Bros. Gives Audiences A Look at ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Brutal Footage at WonderCon 2015 (VIDEO)

Mad Max Fury Road Mad Max: Fury Road/Facebook

Christian Post Report – Mad Max: Fury Road poster. Facebook. July 28, 2014

Warner Bros. gave audiences at the WonderCon 2015 spoiler footage of some of their big May releases, including “Mad Max: Fury Road” over the weekend.

WonderCon 2015 showcased initial footage of George Miller’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” when Warner Bros., the movie panel host, released a clip of its upcoming post-apocalyptic action film at the Anaheim Convention Center April 4.

Co-written, produced and helmed by Australian director George Miller, who also oversaw the first “Mad Max” film starring Mel Gibson, “Mad Max: Fury Road” represents the first film in the franchise after 30 years.

Footage shown at WonderCon comprised of a clip 20 minutes into the film after its opening vehicle chase sequence. The camera pans down on Mad Max (played by Tom Hardy) chained, wearing a mask and lying facedown on the sand. In the midst of a hallucination, he reaches behind, finds and wrenches out a hook buried at the back of his neck, following the attached chain where he uncovers Nux (played by Nicholas Hoult) buried in a car under the sand.

Discovering a shotgun, Max attempts to shoot off his manacles, but it jams. Instead, he carries Nux and walks to a vision he has spied in the distance which turns out to be a bevy of beautiful spiked chastity belt-wearing women taking a shower from a huge water tanker.

Pointing his shotgun at them, he utters his first line of dialogue: “water,” and drinks from a hose offered by a pregnant woman named Splendid (played by Rosie Huntington-Whitely). Charlize Theron’s character, Furiosa, emerges and starts a fight just as Max orders one of the women to find a bolt cutter to remove his chains. The scene ends when Furiosa, a character with only one arm, gets hold of the shotgun and starts shooting at Max.

Apart from Hardy, Theron, Hoult and Huntington-Whitely, “Mad Max: Fury Road” also stars Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Riley Keough, Nathan Jones, Courtney Eaton, John Howard, and Josh Helman. It opens in North American theaters May 15.

T-Mobile Discontinues Sony Xperia Z3 Sales After Less Than 6 Months

T-Mobile Facebook

Christian Post Report – T-Mobile has pulled Sony Xperia Z3 off its shelves after less than a year, reportedly due to slow sales of the Japanese high end Android smartphone.

Despite the sleek design and technology loaded features, German carrier, T-Mobile has quietly discontinued its sale of the Sony Xperia Z3 less than six months after it offered Sony’s flagship model handset.

Customers who have mentioned the absence of the Sony Xperia Z3 in the carrier’s online lineup where met with responses from the telecom company pointing out the model was no longer available, and directed to the carrier’s other high end smartphone offerings.

While T-Mobile has not released an explanation for the discontinuance of the Z3 from their list of mobile products offered, speculations range from a low stock inventory to the sluggish movement of Z3 model due to the limited demand.

Sony Xperia Z3 Facebook/ Sony Xperia Z

Sony Xperia Z3

The Sony Xperia Z3 may be a stunning handset with an incomparable display, a waterproof body, and a battery life record yet to be beaten by other smartphones in the market today, but faced with competitors like the Samsung Galaxy line that already has a strong and loyal fan base, Sony may have erred in simply releasing a phone and hoping consumers would buy it.

From inadequate advertising to a slow roll-out of the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Xperia line, the model hasn’t had quite the impact in North America in the face of competition from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 and the One M8 this year.

Despite the Sony Xperia Z4 rumored to be just around the corner, Japanese electronics multinational Sony isn’t reaping the expected growth in profit from their Xperia line that they’ve hoping for, and have announced they will be putting their focus on minimizing risks in the highly volatile mobile phone market.

They will instead shift their attention to pushing the growth of their fast sellers like the PlayStation platforms, and image sensors for cameras, mobile devices, and entertainment.
