The next episode of the hit police procedural TV drama series “NCIS” Season 12 will see the show going back to its investigative roots when a look at a murder crime leads to an even bigger investigation.

However, their investigation will escalate into an even bigger scale as they will find a lead pointing out to a 40-year-old U.S. bombing case.

A synopsis provided by Hollywood Hills meanwhile added that Special Agent McGee (Sean Murray) might be stricken with a pang of jealousy as he was not previously briefed about the cold case.

On the other hand, a report from Fashion N Style indicates that this episode will also delve personal issues among the show’s characters.

For one, there’s the long distance relationship between Delilah (Margo Harshman) and McGee. Delilah was last seen taking off for Dubai for a job there at the Department of Defense.

Despite the efforts they put in to close the void, the publication indicated that there might be some changes to happen between the two. Will it be for the best or for the worse?

Speaking to TV Guide, Murray discussed how Delilah’s return will test if there’s still some chemistry between them or not.

“We haven’t seen her this year, but I think we’re going to see her, which is – for me and for the character – a good thing. I think people like to see McGee and Delilah together too and it’s fun to do,” the actor said.

“NCIS” Season 12 airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki (R) reacts after Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook (L) was called for a technical foul during Game 3 of the NBA Western Conference Final basketball playoffs in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, May 21, 2011.

Christian Post Report – The Dallas Mavericks host the Houston Rockets at the American Airlines Center in the NBA. Tip-off is on April 2, 2015 at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Houston currently leads the Texas showdown series as they have won two of their first three meetings this season.

Both teams are on track to make the playoffs in the Western Conference, with the Rockets sitting third, while the Mavericks are seventh.

Houston recently beat the Sacramento Kings 115-111 to win five of their last six of the season. Meanwhile, the Mavs beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 135-131 to increase their lead on the eighth seed to four games.

In their regular season meetings, the home team have won every time, with Houston taking the series opener with a 95-92 win at the Toyota Center. James Harden scored 32 points and took down eight rebounds in the victory, while also making 12 of his 13 attempts at the free throw line. Patrick Beverley added 20 as the point guard converted six of the 11 attempts he had from beyond the arc.

For the Mavericks, Monta Ellis led in scoring with 17 points, while Tyson Chandler was a force in the middle with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Unfortunately, Dirk Nowitzki struggled from the field, only converting 22 percent of his attempts as he finished with 11 points.

Their second game went the same way as Houston won 99-94 at home.

Josh Smith led the balanced attack for Houston with 18 points, while a total of six players scored in double figures for the Rockets in the game.

Ellis again carried the scoring load for the Mavericks, but Chandler Parsons also produced with 25 points while shooting 5-of-8 from beyond the arc.

Dallas finally secured their first win when they played at home behind eight players scoring double figures.

Al-Farouq Aminu and Devin Harris both scored 17 points for the Mavericks, while Rajon Rondo, Chandler Parsons and Charlie Villanueva helped with 13. Ellis and Nowitzki had 12 each as the Mavs shot 47 percent from the field, while holding the Rockets to 41 percent.

In the losing effort, Harden had 26 points but lacked help from his other teammates.

Joe Nathan Blames Media for His Controversial Comments About Tigers Fans

Joe Nathan Reuters.com

Joe Nathan continues to struggle, what will the Detroit Tigers do?

Joe Nathan is becoming a big problem for the Detroit Tigers. It is one thing to be a highly paid athlete on the downside of his career, and quite another to continually irk the fans of an organization. Beyond the $11 million the notoriously image-conscious Tigers will pay Nathan this year, the team will now have to deal with the fallout from Nathan’s latest tirade, which was aimed at the team’s own fans.

Nathan dismissed Tigers fans that booed him during Spring Training.

“I don’t care, to be honest. You know, those guys, to be honest with you, aren’t even on my mind. Fans aren’t in my mind,” the pitcher told reporters March 12. “Only people that really matter to me is my family and the people in this locker room. … Fans are going to be the way they are, and that’s the way it is. That doesn’t bother me. It’s not a part of my life. They’re not a part of my life. Period.”

However, Nathan denied those comments on MLB radio Tuesday, blaming the backlash on media miscommunication.

“This goes on the reporters that said it. What I said is, they brought up the fact that they booed and I said I don’t care how they react. They’re entitled to do whatever they want. They paid, they bought the ticket. They’re entitled to do what they want while they’re there,” Nathan explained.

“So not one time out of my mouth did I say I don’t care about the fans. So that was a misinterpretation, I think. So if that wasn’t a misinterpretation then they misquoted me,” he continued. “So the heat falls on the reporters. I’m glad you brought it up because hopefully this kind of clears the air a little bit. Never once did I say that.”

“I think I’ve proven to fans that I do care about them. I’m always outside every day basically signing autographs. So I think my actions speak more than the words that came from another reporter,” Nathan added.

This isn’t the first time Nathan’s attitude has earned the ire of Tigers fans. In a game last year, the pitcher made a crude hand gesture towards the fans after being taken out of a game to a chorus of boos from the Detroit stands.

Halo 5 Release Date: Microsoft Releases Live-Action Promos, Game Coming October

Two new live-action TV ads, which aired during the finale of AMC’s zombie show, “The Walking Dead” Season 5, was released by Microsoft for the highly anticipated Halo 5: Guardians.

Christian Post Report – Viewers caught the glimpse of Agent Locke, a character last seen in “Halo Nightfall,” walking through a desolated human city towards a statue of Master Chief.

Screencap from the official Halo 5: Guardians Trailer

As he approaches the monument, he saw Master Chief, badly wounded in his left shoulder, sitting at the foot of the statue.

Locke confronts the character, blaming him for the destruction around the place and branding him as a traitor rather than the hero he has once been. His dialogue concluded, he switches to his hand gun and pointed it on the fallen combatant.

The scene cuts and the Halo 5: Guardians logo screen flashes along with its release date which is on October 27, 2015 for Xbox One.

The second ad, which aired an hour later, featured the same events but this time on Master Chief’s perspective. The Chief approaches the wounded character as he asked him if “it was all worth it.” The promo also ends with Master Chief pointing the gun on Locke.

A report from Gamespot.com offered more insights on the events shown in the teasers.

Quoting 343 Industries studio executive Bonnie Ross, the publication revealed that the upcoming title will be epic in terms of “scope and scale and drama.”

“We wanted Halo 5: Guardians to be the game that pays off the epic promise of the Halo universe in scope and scale and drama,” Ross said. “We want to amaze players with the sheer size of the worlds and battles they’ll experience, even as they question everything they thought they knew about its heroes, marvels, and mysteries.”

NASCAR Drops the Hammer on No. 31 Team and Ryan Newman for Manipulating Tires

Ryan Newman reuters.com

NASCAR has hammered the #31 Sprint Cup series team driven by Ryan Newman

The tire controversy in the NASCAR sprint Cup Series appears to be at an end. After seizing tires from several teams after the race in Fontana, California nearly two weeks ago, NASCAR has found what they were looking for. The no. 31 team driven by Ryan Newman and owned by Richard Childress has been found guilty of manipulating its tires and NASCAR’s punishment was severe.

NASCAR deemed the offense at the P5 level, the second most severe tier, and levied a huge penalty against the team. Newman has been docked 75 drivers points and the team was docked 75 owner’s points. Crew Chief Luke Lambert has been fined $125,000, suspended for the next six Sprint Cup events and placed on probation through the end of the year. The team’s tire technician and engineer have also been suspended six races and placed on probation.

“NASCAR takes very seriously its responsibility to govern and regulate the rules of the sport in order to ensure competitive balance. We’ve been very clear that any modifications to race vehicle tires is an unacceptable practice and will not be tolerated,” NASCAR Executive Vice President Steve O’Donnell said in a statement.

RCR President Torrey Galida also released a statement addressing the controversy.

“We understand the seriousness of the penalty. In fact, RCR has been one of the most outspoken opponents against ‘tire bleeding’ since the rumors began to surface last season. Once NASCAR provides us with the specific details of the infraction we will conduct a further internal investigation, and evaluate our options for an appeal,” he said.

Newman, after finishing second in the points last season, was off to a strong start in 2015. He was sixth in points. If the punishment is upheld on appeal he will drop to 27th in the points and be without key components to his race team for the next six races.

LeBron James Reuters/Photo

The Cleveland Cavaliers host the Miami Heat at the Quicken Loans Arena in the NBA regular season. The match is on April 2, 2015 and tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.

Christian Post Report – This is a highly-anticipated battle as the two teams are currently on the same course to meet in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Cleveland are second in the East, while their rivals are holding on to the seventh seed but the underdogs have had the best of the title favourites so far.

In their previous three meetings this season, the Heat have won twice, with the teams winning when playing as hosts.

When they first played in December, Dwyane Wade scored 31 points and grabbed five rebounds in the 101-91 victory. Luol Deng added 25 while shooting 11-of-16 from the field and added eight rebounds.

In a losing effort, LeBron James scored 30 points and grabbed four rebounds in 41 minutes on the court. Star guard Kyrie Irving helped with 25 points but the Cavs lacked contribution from other players as they could not make up the deficit they surrendered early in the game.

However, they got their revenge in the next game as seven players scored in double figures for the Cavs in a 113-93 victory. Timofey Mozgov led the team in scoring with 20 points, while James had a near triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the victory.

The Heat played without Wade and got their contributions from Mario Chalmers with 18, while Hassan Whiteside scored 17 and grabbed 14 rebounds in only 29 minutes on the floor. They were still extremely efficient as they drained 55 percent of their shots from the field while limiting Cleveland to only 38 percent.

Just like the first game, the Heat dominated when they played in Florida, again winning while going away 106-92 with Wade scoring 32 points while shooting an impressive 72 percent from the field.

Vanessa Hudgens Reveals the Struggles She Faced While Dating Zac Efron

Vanessa Hudgens Instagram/ vanessahudgens

Vanessa Hudgens

Christian Post Report – Before there was Robsten or Jelena, there was Zanessa, the teenage dream pairing of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The two met on the set of the Disney TV movie “High School Musical” back in 2005, which gave way to two sequels. The two embarked in a real-life romance for four years, which ended in December 2010.

Now, Hudgens is opening up about her struggles while dating the “Charlie St. Cloud” actor. In an interview with New York Times, the actress said that there were times when she was “mean” during their relationship, not because of Efron, but because of his female fans who tended to get overzealous at times.

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up,” said Hudgens. “Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about. ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice.'”

Since then, the actress has moved on with fellow actor Austin Butler. Not only has she found love with him, but he has also been instrumental in her having a renewed passion for Christianity.

Hudgens said that while she was born a Catholic, she “never felt connected to it.” The couple attend services at Hillsong, and the actress said, “It feels like Arcade Fire—it’s epic like that. They really focus on you having your own personal relationship with Jesus, which is wonderful.”

Hudgens is currently starring in the Broadway version of “Gigi” and she will be appearing as Rizzo in the Fox live TV airing of “Grease” in 2016.

Kong Hee and City Harvest Church Leaders Had Control Over Alleged Sham Company That Managed Pastor’s Wife’s Popstar Career, Prosecutors Say

City Harvest Church founder Kong Hee arrives at the Subordinate Courts in Singapore June 27, 2012.

Christian Post Report – The prosecutors in the long-standing trial of City Harvest Church pastor Kong Hee and five other members have said that the CHC leaders had full control over Xtron, the company that managed and spent millions of church funds on the popstar career of Kong’s wie, Ho Yeow Sun.

“Clearly, right from the inception of Xtron, Kong Hee and you were making decisions about who should be Xtron directors,” Deputy Public Prosecutor Mavis Chionh told deputy senior pastor Tan Ye Peng, The Straits Times reported on Thursday.

The prosecution used as evidence emails from 2002 where Tan told fellow co-accused Chew Eng Han, CHC’s former investment manager, that Kong wanted Chew to be on the company’s board of directors.

Kong, the founding pastor of what has grown to become one of Singapore’s largest megachurches, has denied the charges and said that Xtron was an independent company.

If convicted of misusing $19.2 million in church funds, Kong and the five other CHC members could face between 10 to 20 years in prison.

As further evidence, Mavis referred to another email where Kong allegedly promised $1.8 million of Xtron’s funds in 2006 to pay for the expenses of Ho’s U.S. album.

“I put it to you that what this email clearly shows … is that Kong Hee was able to commit Xtron to unanticipated payments,” the prosecutor added. It was “only after the payments were made that the directors were asked to sign board resolutions to approve these payments.”

Tan denied the charges, and said that the CHC leaders acted on the advice of lawyers and auditors about the funding of the Crossover Project.

Kong has previously said that the project was aimed at spreading CHC and the Gospel internationally through his wife’s music.

Last week, Tan claimed that the CHC congregation has been supportive of the church’s leaders, and does not feel deceived in the case.

“In every aspect, we’ve never felt that we’ve done anything unauthorized,” Tan said.

“Till today, church members come to me and say, pastor, hang in there. No one says pastor, we’ve been deceived.”

Tan added that he would have never done something to hurt CHC, and pointed out that he gave away close to $292,000 of the proceeds from selling his house in order to support the church.

“I’m an ordinary man, I’m just a pastor, I just want to do the will of God, I just want to be faithful to the vision that God has given to us,” the deputy senior pastor told the court.

“In all honesty, I would never do anything that would cause loss to the church. … This is the church that I grew up in. This is my spiritual family.”

‘The Good Wife’ Season 6: Episode 17 Recap ‘Undisclosed Recipients’

The Good Wife CBS/ The Good Wife

Alicia talks to Bishop on The Good Wife

Christian Post Report – On last Sunday’s episode of “The Good Wife,” Alicia meets with some well-wishers after winning the state’s attorney election, and Florrick/Argos/Lockhart falls victim to a cyber attack.

Alicia returns to the firm to find her office filled with gifts and other items congratulating her on her win. No sooner has she sat down when visitors and requests for favors start to come in.

James Castro is the first to stop by and he asks Alicia to keep his current deputy in place during her administration. She says that’s not possible, but he says, “It is customary for the incoming SA not to investigate the outgoing SA.” He ends up threatening her before he leaves as he tells her, “A lame duck can still tank your record before you get started.”

Next to drop by is Guy Redmayne. He mentions that he sent a gift of “a chessboard made out of human teeth” and makes his request: he wants her to appoint his friend Dean Lumber as her deputy. Alicia is not too keen with his suggestion, so he too leaves her with a threat: “I spent seven figures putting you into office. It won’t cost me nearly as much to get you out of it.”

Lemond Bishop stops by and asks Alicia to ensure his safety and stop Geneva Pine’s investigation. She promises to stop the investigation and grant him immunity if he’ll testify against his lieutenants. Bishop tells her that this is not a smart move at all as he leaves.

Eli learns about Alicia’s interaction with Redmayne and barges into her office. He angrily advises her to respond to all requests as such: “Thank you for your advice. All options are open to me. I plan to decide in the next 48 hours.” So Alicia meets again with Redmayne and she tries to appease him. Alicia also meets with Castro and Bishop, but she appoints Finn Bolmar as her deputy.

Meanwhile, the firm is busy with a case involving a movie producer suing an illegal pirating site named WharfMaster for leaking a movie before its release. The site’s fans are angry with the firm for threatening the site, so they hack and leak the firm’s network and start sharing private emails online.

It’s hurtful for everyone in the firm as secrets are exposed, but Alicia is spared most of it. Then, the hackers threaten to release two years’ worth of emails, so Alicia asks Marissa to search her account for anything that could be used against her.

Later, the suit gets settled and the hackers are called off, but the cost to repair the damages affected the firm’s ability to pay Alicia’s buyout offer. The partners offer her a buyout of $100,000, which is less than what they initially offered her. She tells them, “I want you to know that this offer does not in any way impact my consideration of your criminal cases when I’m SA.”

“The Good Wife” airs on Sundays at 9/8c on CBS.

St. Louis County Will Not Contribute Taxpayer Funds for New NFL Stadium

St. Louis Stadium St. Louis Rams

St. Louis county will not contribute taxpayer dollars without a vote

Christian Post Report – The taxpayers of St. Louis county will not help the taxpayers of St. Louis city keep the St. Louis Rams. Under a newer proposal spearheaded by a group of lawmakers trying to keep the Rams in town, a new NFL stadium was to be built costing nearly $1 billion. $6 million of that was planned to come from the country, but even that low number could not gain support among the county politicians. That really seems to underscore the sentiment out there of using public funds to build stadiums from privately owned sports team owned by the mega rich.

The NFL is behind at least one team, but more likely two, moving to Los Angeles. They favor Rams’ owner Stan Kroenke plan because he has the capitol to build a stadium with private money. If that is true, then it seems very silly for anyone in St. Louis to build him a stadium in a dire hope he keeps the team there.

With that being said if St. Louis believes having a NFL team brings a certain value to their city, and that value is not in terms of actual dollars and cents most often, than losing the Rams is not the end of the story. Currently three teams are attempting to move to the LA market, whichever one of them loses will likely be stirred to St. Louis by the league itself.

“The move could actually smooth the stadium’s path. St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger has said he wouldn’t support public spending without a public vote, and taking the county out of the funding mix could avoid a messy, time-consuming election,” the LA Times reported. “In the fast-paced merry-go-round of NFL relocation, that matters, said Jim Shrewsbury, chairman of the Edward Jones Dome Authority, which oversees the Rams’ current stadium.”

It may still be in St. Louis’ best interest to continue to find support for a new stadium, even after the Rams officially announce that they are leaving.
