Christian Post Report – Oklahoma Sooners forward Romero Osby (R) goes for a lay-up over Texas A&M Aggies center Keith Davis during the first half of the first round of the NCAA men’s Big 12 basketball tournament at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, March 7, 2012.

The Sooners finished the season with a record of 23-10, compared to the Flyers 27-8 record. However, Oklahoma will be big favorites to win through tonight and claim a place in the Sweet 16.

Dayton will be looking to star forward Dyshawn Pierre to get the job done again for them tonight. He scored 20 points and 6 of 10 shooting during their win over Providence on Friday night, as well as sinking all five of his own free throws, and getting a block and a pair of assists.

How well the Flyers do tonight could depend on how well Pierre performs in today’s game, and you can be sure that the Oklahoma players will be closing him down fast and trying to blunt his effectiveness in the game.

Meanwhile, for the Sooners, forward TaShawn Thomas posted 18 points and four blocks in Oklahoma’s Second Round win over Albany. Through his 32 minutes on court he managed to post five rebounds, two assists and a steal.

The Flyers will be desperate to win here tonight to make it through to the Sweet 16. They are on the verge of a record-breaking season. They have so far claimed 27 wins for the first time since the 2008-2009 season, and their program record is just one away at 28 wins, which was recorded all the way back to 1952.

Barcelona will play Real Madrid on Sunday in a massive Spanish La Liga clash that could go a long way to deciding who will claim this year’s title. The game takes place from the Nou Camp and has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. GMT (4 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Christian Post Report – Barcelona’s Lionel Messi (C) controls the ball against Valencia’s Gago during their Spanish first division soccer match against Valencia at Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona September 2, 2012.

Coming into this game it is Barcelona who have the upper hand in La Liga, although by the end of today that could change. The Catalan club have a one point advantage over Real with 65 points from their 27 games so far, where as the Madrid team have 64 points from the same number of games.

That means a draw today wouldn’t change anything, although a win for Barcelona would put clear space between themselves and Real. A Real win would see them leapfrog Barcelona into top spot, and with just 10 games of the season to go in La Liga after today that could prove decisive.

However, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has claimed that today’s big El Clasico game will not decide the title, although no doubt he will be desperate to claim the three points in front of a home crowd today.

Enrique has said, “It’s an important game but not a decisive one. These games are certainly different to any others. They are our eternal rivals. There’s also our head-to-head goal difference to bear in mind.”

The Barca boss added: “There are no clear favorites in games like these. But playing in front of our own fans always gives us that extra boost. This is a nice chance to put some space between us. It’s not quite as intense as a manager. You have to control what’s happening on the pitch. It’s more about keeping your cool and making decisions at the right time.”

Real will be confident having won the last two El Clasico games, and if they can make it three in a row today then it will be their best El Clasico run of results since way back to 1978.

However, Barcelona have history on their side; while they have been top of the Spanish La Liga they have never lost at home to Real Madrid since way back in the 1929-1930 season.

Today’s huge El Clasico game between Barcelona and Real Madrid will kick off at 8 p.m. GMT (4 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.

The Wichita State Shockers will play the Kansas Jayhawks on Sunday for a place in the Sweet 16 Round of this year’s NCAA March Madness tournament. Christian Post Report – Louisville Cardinals guard Russ Smith (L) drives to the hoop past Wichita State Shockers guard Ron Baker during the second half of their NCAA men’s Final Four basketball game in Atlanta, Georgia April 6, 2013.

The No. 2 seeded Kansas finished the season on 27-8, and will be favorites to win through today against the No. 7 seeded Wichita State, who finished the season with a 29-4 record.

This will be the first time these two teams have met in 23 years, and the stakes couldn’t be higher, with both teams desperate to land themselves in the Sweet 16 next week with a win here today.

Kansas progressed through Round 2 with an easy win over New Mexico State earlier in the week. Wichita State had a more difficult time to get here and had to hold off a strong fight back from Indiana.

The Jayhawks will be hopeful that junior forward Perry Ellis can maintain his good form this season. He leads the Jayhawks with 13.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game on average through this season, although he could manage just 9 points and 2 rebounds on Friday, perhaps largely due to the fact that he is still coming back from a bad knee injury.

The Shockers meanwhile will be looking to junior guard Fred VanVleet to lead them to the win today. He was fantastic in the Second Round, scoring 27 points in Wichita State’s 81-76 win over Indiana on Friday.
