Christian Post Report – Barcelona’s Lionel Messi (C) controls the ball against Valencia’s Gago during their Spanish first division soccer match against Valencia at Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona September 2, 2012.

Coming into this game it is Barcelona who have the upper hand in La Liga, although by the end of today that could change. The Catalan club have a one point advantage over Real with 65 points from their 27 games so far, where as the Madrid team have 64 points from the same number of games.

That means a draw today wouldn’t change anything, although a win for Barcelona would put clear space between themselves and Real. A Real win would see them leapfrog Barcelona into top spot, and with just 10 games of the season to go in La Liga after today that could prove decisive.

However, Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has claimed that today’s big El Clasico game will not decide the title, although no doubt he will be desperate to claim the three points in front of a home crowd today.

Enrique has said, “It’s an important game but not a decisive one. These games are certainly different to any others. They are our eternal rivals. There’s also our head-to-head goal difference to bear in mind.”

Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale (R) celebrates with teammates Daniel Carvajal (L) and Xabi Alonso after scoring a goal against Borussia Dortmund during their Champions League quarter-final first leg soccer match at Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid April 2, 2014.

The Barca boss added: “There are no clear favorites in games like these. But playing in front of our own fans always gives us that extra boost. This is a nice chance to put some space between us. It’s not quite as intense as a manager. You have to control what’s happening on the pitch. It’s more about keeping your cool and making decisions at the right time.”

Real will be confident having won the last two El Clasico games, and if they can make it three in a row today then it will be their best El Clasico run of results since way back to 1978.

However, Barcelona have history on their side; while they have been top of the Spanish La Liga they have never lost at home to Real Madrid since way back in the 1929-1930 season.

Today’s huge El Clasico game between Barcelona and Real Madrid will kick off at 8 p.m. GMT (4 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.

Christian Post Report – Duke Blue Devils forward Mason Plumlee (5) shoots around Maryland Terrapins center Alex Len (25) during the first half of their ACC Championship college basketball game in Greensboro, North Carolina March 15, 2013.

Duke enter this year’s NCAA 2015 tournament as No. 1 seeds, and so far have lived up to expectations, claiming a comfortable win in their opening game with a 29 point victory over Robert Morris. That in fact was their first win in March Madness since 2011.

The Blue Devils will be hoping that senior guard Quinn Cook can remain in top form; he scored 22 points in their last round, shooting 6 of 10 from three pointer positions. He is averaging 15.9 points per game, as well as 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

These two teams have only met once before, back in 2001, and in that instance the Blue Devils came out on top. Duke are also by far the more experienced team when it comes to NCAA tournament gameplay. They have played 133 games, winning 99 and losing just 34, where as San Diego State have only ever played 15 games, claiming 5 wins and suffering 10 losses.

Today’s big NCAA 2015 March Madness game between the Duke Blue Devils and the San Diego State Aztecs will get started at 2.40 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through free live stream by clicking here.

NFL 2015 News, Rumors: League Proposes Rule Changes to Instant Replay System

Yesterday the NFL announced the various rule change proposals they will discuss at this year’s league meeting to be held in Phoenix, Arizona. Many of those rule changes involve tweaks to the current instant replay system and how plays are challenged and how many challenges a team will have per game, and exactly which plays are challengeable. All of these rule changes were proposed by one of the 32 NFL teams, with none coming from the league itself. That raises serious questions if any meaningful changes will happen.

NFL NFL

Christian Post Report – The NFL wants to expand its playoff tournament

Outside of the somewhat odd proposal put forward by the Indianapolis Colts about a potential opportunity to add a third point after a successful two point conversion some of the instant replay proposal are actually pretty good. The Detroit Lions proposed a rule that would allow teams to challenge penalty calls. Of all the proposals it is the most simply worded “all fouls identified by a game official.” Meaning a head coach could challenge any penalty call.

However, the Lions do not think they will get enough support to get that rule changed.

On the whole most of the 32 team proposed changes to the instant replay system that would expand the types of calls that are challengeable. The Colts also proposed a rule that would not charge a team a timeout for a unsuccessful challenge.

More than any tweaks to the roster, tweaks to instant replay and well before they add a three point conversion rule the NFL needs to clarify to its fans what constitutes a catch. There is a large disconnect between what the rulebook says a catch is and what a reasonable fan sitting in his man cave with his high definition TV expects a catch to be. If any one rule is to be tweaked this offseason it would behoove the NFL to seriously alter what its rulebooks defines as a catch.

‘Revenge’ Season 4 Spoilers, Cast News: Margaux is Hit by a Cab, Christa B. Allen Wants to Return

Suspense and intrigue keeps on building up as the fourth season of the hit TV drama series “Revenge” continues in this upcoming segment titled “Loss.”

Revenge ABC (Photo: ABC Network/File)

Christian Post Report – Revenge airs on the ABC network.

Karine Vanasse’s Margaux is certainly a force to reckon with within The Hamptons as we saw her in last week’s episode “Retaliation” successfully hurting Emily (Emily VanCamp) through Jack (Nick Wechsler) whom she had arrested under false pretences.

But despite all her efforts of destroying the Revenger, the scheming Margaux will still learn that chances won’t always be in her hands. A spoiler report from Melty cited the upcoming segment’s teaser video (provided below) showing Margaux getting hit by a speeding car while Emily looks on from a distance.

The promo also offer other explosive scenes like a mysterious figure – thought to be one of Margaux’s henchmen – aiming a gun at Emily’s head. But thankfully, the show’s protagonist was able to react in time and she was able to deter the hit man.

The video also featured Ben (Brian Hallisay) turning up at Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) place and the latter was apparently disturbed with the visit. Madeleine Stowe’s Victoria Grayson is also seen crying over something.

On related news, avid followers of the show have long been wondering the status of another Grayson member who disappeared on one of the previous episodes.

Speaking with TV Line, cast member Christa B. Allen admits she wasn’t sure if her character would make a comeback to the Hamptons.

“I haven’t heard anything,” she told TV Line. “But I know that they’re still waiting to hear on their next season pickup, so I think it’ll depend largely on that. … They do try to keep their options open on that show.”

Allen’s character Charlotte was last seen in “Damage” where she was apprehended after a slew of murder and drug cases landed on her lap.

“Revenge” Season 4 returns this Sunday, March 22 at 10 p.m. with episode titled “Loss” on ABC.

Kym Johnson Dating Robert Herjavec? DWTS 2015 Dancers Dating?

Is a new romance forming on the “Dancing With The Stars” dance floor?

Christian Post Report – “Shark Tank” boss Robert Herjavec is reportedly dating his pro partner, Kym Johnson. According to a source from Us Weekly, the pair was spotted getting cozy at an intimate viewing party for the show on Monday evening at L.A.’s Hyde Sunset Kitchen + Cocktails, and they were reportedly seen holding hands and dancing closely. The pair even allegedly kissed several times.

The magazine also reported that after placing fourth in Monday night’s episode, the pair left the studio lot together, speeding off to a party in Herjavec’s Rolls-Royce.

“Kym and Robert were definitely attracted to each other from the get-go,” said the source to Us Weekly. “They are constantly all over each other. She can’t stop talking about what a good, nice guy he is. They have insane chemistry and are actually a good match.”

Herjavec’s 24-year marriage to Diane Plese ended in July last year, and the 52-year old tycoon revealed that he hit rock bottom soon after when he contemplated suicide. He told People Magazine, “I just wanted to end it. It’s been a terribly difficult year. We were great parents and a great team, but over time we drifted apart.”

Apparently, competing in the latest season of the hit ABC show proved to be the perfect project where he could dive in head first as he told ETCanada, “This couldn’t have come at a better time in my life for me. I’m just trying to stay positive and Kym’s yelling at me a lot and that’s a little negative but I’m getting used to it.”

Johnson has never been married. She was previously engaged to cricket player Shane Watson, but the two split after three years together.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the 38-year old dancer said, “I’ve never been opposed to dating someone famous. I’m looking for a good person I connect with…I can’t imagine myself without kids…I really want to be a mum. Hopefully, I can find the right man.”

New NFL Stadium in Carson, California? AEG Raising Concerns Over Proposed NFL Stadium

AEG was the force behind one of the three plans to build a NFL stadium in Los Angeles. They even spent $50 million or so pursuing that dream, however it was announced early this year that they have given up that quest. After sighting potential Homeland Security issues with the San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders backed plans for a stadium in Carson, Calif. they are now raising more concerns.

NFL LA Stadium Manica Architecture

Christian Post Report – The Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers are teaming up on a proposed stadium

AEG owns and operates the Stub Hub Center, which is home to a Major League Soccer franchise and hosts other sporting events. AEG is concerned about the NFL and MLS seasons overlapping and their business interest there being disrupted by the new NFL stadium.

To be fair, AEG has operated sports teams in the LA area for years while the NFL virtually ignored the town and used it as leverage to get new stadiums built in other markets. However, it seems AEG is taking if we can’t have a stadium here no one can stance on the issue.

Beyond the overlap of the two professional sports leagues seasons AEG has raised other concerns in a six page letter to the Mayor of Carson.

Pro Football Talk has posted a excerpt of that letter that contained the following:

“With the proposed initiative, there is no review under [state environmental law], no public process and no public dialogue about the types of benefits provided by other large-scale projects such as the ones AEG has developed through a thorough and transparent public process involving extensive community input. We have a very substantial investment in Carson, which will be placed at risk if a loophole is exploited to avoid and evade the protections described above.”

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Huge Trouble Ensues Inside the Walled Paradise

Last episode of the hit post-apocalyptic TV drama series “The Walking Dead” Season 5 features both intense and tragic developments. And spoiler reports suggest this could continue in this week’s episode titled “Try.”

The Walking Dead Facebook/ The Walking Dead

Christian Post Report – Darryl says “We brought dinner” as they walk into Alexandria, on The Walking Dead.

In “Spend,” fans saw the tragic demise of Noah (Tyler James Williams) who was literally devoured by the Walkers. It also revealed Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) people getting more crucial positions inside Alexandria – a thing that upsets Father Gabe (Seth Gilliam) who told the community’s leader Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh) that having Rick and Co could spell disaster within the walls.

And this could turn out to be true, at least in the case of Rick. Spoiler reports indicated that the next episode will tackle on the conflict that is about to happen between the survivors’ leader and Alexandria’s esteemed doctor, Pete (Corey Brill).

A report from Design & Trend cited fan site The Spoiling Dead Fans saying that although Pete won’t be killed in the upcoming segment, he will, nonetheless, face the anger of the show’s main protagonist.

It was claimed by TSDF that Pete’s wife, Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) has suffered abuses from him. Seeking the help of the Safe Zone’s newly appointed constable, a fight consequently occurred between Rick and Pete.

As further revealed, Alexandrians have long been aware of Pete’s suspicious behaviours. In the Walking Dead comics, Douglas Monroe (Deanna’s comic book counterpart) will even ask Rick to end Pete’s life.

Executive producer Scott M. Gimple already told through The Hollywood Reporter that Season 5 will follow closely with the events on the comic book. This goes to say that Pete might be eradicated, not on this episode as it was reported, but likely on the succeeding ones.

“The Walking Dead” Season 5 episode 15 titled “Try” airs this Sunday, March 22 on AMC.
