The Arizona Wildcats have only tripped up three times this entire season, posting a record of 32-3, and they will be reasonably confident that if they can give their best today they won’t suffer a fourth defeat here.

The Buckeyes have had a much more mixed season and have shown some flashes of excellence, but also a certain degree of inconsistency that has seen them struggle at times. Their 24-10 season showed lots of promise through, and there is no doubt that if they are on top of their game today they can compete with the Wildcats and have a chance.

Arizona had a relatively easy time of it in the Round of 64, easing their way to a comfortable 21 point win over Texas Southern on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ohio State were forced to fight back and come from behind against VCU. The character that they showed to comeback will have given them confidence, however, and they will want to build on the momentum they finished the game with against VCU.

The Buckeyes though can ill afford to make such a lackluster start against Arizona, and if they fall behind early on today, they may find it a lot harder to fight their way back into the game than they did against VCU.

Kentucky come into this game with their undefeated record still intact, having gone 35-0 this season. They have made it through to the Round of 32 following a solid victory over the Pirates on Thursday night. Even though they were made to work for their win, they simply proved too powerful for the Pirates, who eventually succumbed 79-56.

They will be massive favorites to continue their unblemished record in Kentucky today against a Bearcats team who needed a last gasp buzzer-beating score to take their game against Purdue into overtime. That proved decisive as they ran out 67-66 winners to make it here in the last 32.

The Wildcats are currently 35-0 and are tied with last season’s Wichita State team for the longest unbeaten stretch to begin a season in Division 1 history. They can surpass that today, although they should be warned, no one expected Wichita State to lose to Kentucky in the second round last year to bring their winning run to an end.

But if the Cincinnati Bearcats are going to cause a big upset they will have to find a way through the solid Wildcats defense. Kentucky have only allowed opposition teams to score an average of 54 points per game against them this season, which puts them as the third best defensive team in the nation. The Bearcats will likely have to score a significant amount more than 54 if they are to overturn the powerful Kentucky team.

Scott Boras is at odds with the Chicago Cubs. The main point of contention is Kris Bryant and if he will start the season with the Cubs’ Triple A affiliate in Iowa. It would be easy to write this off as a team bringing along a guy who is very likely to be a big star in this league slowly. However, the fact remains if Bryant starts the season in Iowa, the Cubs organization would gain a full season worth of control of the young star. Whether of not that plays into their decision no one but they can say.

Christian Post Report – Despite tearing up Spring Training Kris Bryant may start the 2015 in the minor leagues

Boras, Bryant’s agent, is already taking to his microphone to call out the Cubs for this.

“Cubs ownership has a choice. Are they going to present to their market that they are trying to win? Tom Ricketts said they were all about winning. When someone says it’s the system, no, it’s a choice — the choice of winning,” he told Comcast Sportsnet Chicago.

“Everybody in baseball is saying he’s a major-league player ready for the big leagues,” Boras continued to USA Today. “I have players call me. Executives call me. The Cubs’ people want him there. Everyone says, ‘They cannot send this guy down.’ It’s too obvious.”

In 23 at bats in Cactus League play so far, this spring Bryant has six home runs and two doubles that seem to indicate that he is more than ready to play on the big club, but even if the Cubs are keeping him down for a few weeks to get an extra year of service out of him. It is the club responsibility to protect its assets as much as it is Boras’ job to get his star talent to the free agent market as quickly as possible.

Prior to this year’s NCAA tournament getting underway, most would have said that Xavier would be big favorites to win this one. The No. 6 seeded team went 22-13 this season but arguably were challenged by some much stronger teams than the No. 14 seeded Panthers who went 25-9 through the season.

However, Georgia State made a big statement that they are not just here to make up the numbers as they took down the No. 3 seeded Baylor in the Second Round earlier this week.

The Panthers therefore will not be fazed by coming up against the Musketeers today and will believe they can take down another higher seeded team to progress to the Sweet 16 Round next week.

However, Xavier will be in no mood to be part of Georgia State’s Cinderella story and they will look to stamp their authority on the game from the start and try and immediately put a halt to any momentum the Panthers gained through their win against Baylor.

The Musketeers will have to put the brakes on Georgia State’s R.J. Hunter though. He has very much been their star player, and is averaging a team-high 19.8 points per game this season. Hunter of course wrote himself into the Georgia State history books as he hit the team’s game-winning three pointer with just seconds on the clock against Baylor.

Whether he will be able to lead the Panthers to another famous win remains to be seen.

Christian Post Report – Karrueche Tran has publicly severed ties with her on-off boyfriend Chris Brown earlier this month, but it appears that the singer may not be quite over his model ex-girlfriend yet as he took to Instagram to comment on a racy picture which she posted on Tuesday, March 17.

The photo shows the 26-year old model in Cancun, Mexico, wearing a bikini. She captioned the shot, “I’m president of the Itty Bitty Committee #ThirstyTuesday”.

Brown posted a comment on the picture and wrote, “Thirst trap 101…Continue to be a lady beautiful…U are perfect…Don’t let the Thot form from anger.”

Brown may have been alluding to the anger that Tran expressed on March 4, when she tweeted her goodbyes to the singer in light of the news that he is the father to a 9-month-old baby girl reportedly named Royalty.

“Listen, One can only take so much,” she tweeted. “The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me.”

After ending their relationship of four years, Tran has been taking to social media on a regular basis to post pictures of her partying with her friends and other men. Though it appears as though the model is unaffected by the shocking development, Tran is set to appear on “Iyanla: Fix My Life” in an interview with inspirational speaker and host Iyanla Vanzant on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network to talk about her failed relationship with Brown.

In a teaser that was released on Tuesday, Vanzant fires off at Tran: “He betrayed you. He lied to you. He did it all publicly,” before asking, “How did you find out that he had a baby by another woman?”

According to the press release, Tran sets the record straight and reveals to viewers a side of herself that has never been seen before with Vanzant’s help.

“Karrueche talks candidly with Iyanla about life in the spotlight, as well as her relationship with Chris Brown and subsequent breakup after he allegedly fathered a child with another woman. Best friend Christina Milian provides Iyanla another perspective on Karrueche’s situation,” it reads.

Vanzant’s interview with Tran will air at 8 p.m. ET on March 28 on OWN.

England will face off against France on Saturday as they look to win the Six Nations Championship at Twickenham with a strong win.

England will know exactly what they have to do to win the Six Nations as they start this game. The English have the slight advantage in that both Ireland and Wales played earlier on Saturday, and with things coming down to the wire and points difference, it would be an advantage that makes all the difference.

Coming into this final weekend of the Six Nations, three teams are level on six points, having gained three wins and losing once in their four games each until now. That means this is one of the closest Six Nations on record, with all three teams still with the chance of winning the Championship.

Wales come into today’s game with six points but are third in the table due to their inferior points difference. They have scored 85 points and conceded 73 until now, giving them a +12 points difference.

Ireland are second with 79 points scored and 46 conceded to give them a points difference of +33.

England are marginally ahead in top space, having scored 102 points and conceded 65 to give them a points difference of +37.

However, even though Wales are lagging behind by quite a lot they arguably have the opportunity to pile on the points today against an Italy team that has conceded by far the most points in this season’s Six Nations.

In their four games until now Italy have conceded 121 points – more than 30 points per game on average.

Ireland may feel they have the best chance, as they face Scotland, who are the worst team in the tournament coming into the final weekend, having lost all four games so far. Ireland only need to overturn a four point deficit against England, and with the English facing a strong French team, England may find it difficult to hold on to their slim advantage.

Indeed, France have the best defense in this year’s Championship, having conceded only 46 points in their four games until now, which is an average of just 11 points per game.

“Dancing with the Stars” season 20 premiered with a bang last Monday as the celebrity contestants and their pro partners took to the glitter-strewn dance floor to vie for the golden Mirror Ball Trophy. Though many were disappointed that DWTS vets Karina Smirnoff and Cheryl Burke have left to pursue other endeavors, fans of Derek Hough were happy to see the 29-year-old back on the dance floor and dancing with Olympic gold gymnast Nastia Liukin.

Many were not expecting to see Hough this season as the dancer previously announced that he wouldn’t be in the show due to his commitment with Radio City Music Hall’s “New York Spring Spectacular.” In a blog post for TV Guide, Hough explained why he decided to come back for the 20th season and 10th anniversary of DWTS.

“When I initially decided to sit out this season, I meant it,” Hough wrote. “I had this great opportunity with ‘New York Spring Spectacular’ and I felt like it was time for a break from the show. But as time went on, I realized that I wanted to be part of the 20th season anniversary.”

The dancer revealed that at a certain point, he felt disappointed about not being part of the show. Upon checking his schedule, he realized that he had Mondays and Tuesdays off and told DWTS producers, “Maybe I can work this in, fly in for the Monday shows, fly back to New York Tuesday and rehearse there for the week.”

Hough said that the producers agreed to work with his schedule if they could “find the right person” to partner him. The dancer also revealed that Liukin was not originally his partner and that he was supposed to dance with someone else, though he did not reveal the name of that celebrity.

“Originally, I was supposed to be dancing with someone else and at the last minute, she pulled out. I’m not sure what happened,” he continued. “Then like two days later, they called and said, ‘We found somebody based in New York who is willing to do the travel.’ Nastia is at NYU right now, so she has to be here in New York as well, not just because of me. We met and we hit it off. It was serendipitous and meant to be.”

Hough and Liukin’s foxtrot last Monday placed them third on the leaderboard, behind top scorers Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy and second placers Ryker Lynch and Allison Holker. Hough and Liukin are among the favorites to win the Mirror Ball Trophy this season.

“Dancing with the Stars” airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Christian Post Report – Lord, You said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whosoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

These words of Yours, these very hard-to-understand words, are even harder to live. Yet I want to live them. I just don’t know how. Part of the problem is that I don’t know what You are asking of me. Part of the problem is that I do.

Help me to realize what You are doing in my life, Lord, and how You are doing it. You are changing me into Your likeness—and You are doing it day by day, decision by decision. Thank You for this incremental wonder. And help me, incrementally, to work with You in bringing it about.

And so I ask . . .

May I feel the weight of that cross on each thought I think, so my thoughts could die and Yours be given life.

May I feel the hardness of its wood over every word I speak so my words could be silenced and yours be heard.

May I feel the roughness of its surface against all I do, so that what I do is what You would do if You were here. Because that is how You are here. Through me.

When I am tempted to think more highly of myself than I should, bring to mind that though You existed in the form of God, You did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Yourself—taking the form of a bondservant, and being made in the likeness of men. And being found in the appearance as a man, You humbled Yourself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on the cross (Phil 2:6-8).

When I am tempted to respond to harsh words by returning the harshness, help me to realize the example You set for me on the cross, that while You were reviled, You did not revile in return; while suffering, You uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Yourself to Him who judges righteously.

When I am tempted to act selfishly, draw me once again to Your cross, where You gave so freely and so fully. To Your executioners, You gave forgiveness. To a thief, paradise. To Your mother, a son.

May I never grow weary of living like that, Lord, seeking rest from the responsibility of that cross, understanding that this dying to self is not a one-time crucifixion but a way of life.

NEW YORK — Pastor Judah Smith, who has made headlines for spiritually mentoring big name celebrities such as singer Justin Bieber and football star Russell Wilson, recently sat down with CP Voice to discuss his latest book, Life Is _______, which is a follow up to his 2013 work, Jesus Is _______.

I asked him about the blank line on the cover after the words, Life Is ________.

“The blank is there similar to our previous project because Christians are famous for monologues and not so much dialogue, and the heart behind the project is really to create a conversation,” said Smith. “The blank is there because it’s like, OK, this is how I would fill in the blank. But just because I fill in the blank, that doesn’t mean that you would fill in the blank like that. And here’s my value system predicated upon the ancient Scripture and what I believe about God. That’s how I fill in the blank.”

Smith explained that the overall point is to get people to stop in their daily lives and really ask the question: “Why am I here?” He hopes to start a dialogue to get people to challenge their idea of a full life.

He also discussed one of the main points made in his book which talks about God’s love defying all logic.

“We see in Scripture that God is love personified. He doesn’t do love, doesn’t just feel love,” said Smith. “How we see that played out in the story of Jesus the son of the living God, He comes with this unconditional love for humanity, and I think that’s the part that is illogical in nature.”

Smith believes the principle of “cause and effect” permeates human culture and holds it back from understanding God since He is the only thing that exists without a cause.

“We’re born and raised in a world that believes in cause and effect. And when it comes to God we didn’t cause it. We just received the effects of who He is. And that is difficult, because I think we’re continually challenged in our journey of faith of not again reverting back to cause and effect — meaning right now people are discouraged watching this program because of their performance, and they’re discouraged because they believe God’s love for them is predicated on their performance,” he said.

Smith further emphasized that God defies this logic and human understanding.

“If God is logical and He’s a mathematical equation, then who’s God? Well, He’s not and I am, because I figured God out. God becomes a vending machine, I push a button and I get from God what I want. But that’s not how it works. Part of what makes God, God is the mystery and that he defies our logic and is beyond our understanding.”
