2 Killed, 4 Injured in Shooting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Two people were killed and four injured when a gunman opened fire at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on Tuesday afternoon.
According to USA Today, a 22-year-old former student opened fire on the last day of classes in a classroom where students were giving presentations.
Two people were killed and four are injured, three of which are in critical condition.
According to a press release from the UNC’s chancellor, Ellis Parlier, 19, and Riley Howell, 21, were the two students killed in the shooting. Drew Pescaro, 19; Sean Dehart, 20; Emily Houpt, 23; and Rami Alramadhan, 20, are the students who were injured in the attack.
ABC News reports that the campus was placed on locked down once reports of gunfire were made. The school’s emergency management team sent out an alert via Twitter saying, “Shots reported near kennedy. Run, Hide, Fight. Secure yourself immediately.”

The school was placed on lockdown for several hours as law enforcement worked to secure the campus.
According to ABC News, Police were able to respond quickly to reports of shots being fired, as they were already on campus preparing for a concert with rapper Waka Flaka Flame.
They are countries of “particular concern” for participating or tolerating “systematic, ongoing and egregious violations”, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) claimed in its new report.
Chair, Tenzin Dorjee said: “The freedom to believe as one’s conscience dictates is a fundamental human right and vital to the security, stability and economic vitality of any state or region.”

So-called Islamic State, the Taliban in Afghanistan and al-Shabab in Somalia were among five bodies named by the Commission as “entities of particularly concern” for similar reasons.
Mr Dorjee continued: “In the past year, we have seen severe violations of religious freedom mount around the globe, from the imprisonment of individuals charged with blasphemy in several countries to the internment of over one million Uighur Muslims in China.
“We and others labouring in the realm of religious freedom must persevere in our efforts to make this right a reality for everyone, everywhere.”
The Commission, which advises the US President and lawmakers, published the warning in its 20th annual report on religious freedoms.
Alyssa Milano Flooded with Pro-Life Responses to Abortion Promotion
One would not expect to find a litany of pro-life testimonies on Alyssa Milano’s Twitter feed, but the actor inadvertently invited the responses. Milano’s new podcast “Sorry Not Sorry” solicited stories from women who had abortions that Milano could share on the podcast. Milano then shared the tweet from “Sorry Not Sorry” and talked about how many stories she was hearing. This provoked a response from many pro-life women who had stories of their own to share.
Milano, who is most known for her roles on “Who’s the Boss?” and “Charmed,” became an increasingly outspoken advocate for pro-choice and feminist issues in the wake of Donald Trump’s 2017 election. She vehemently opposed Georgia’s “heartbeat bill,” making a trip to the Peachtree State and sending a letter along with 70 other actors threatening to boycott films and shows that shoot there.
Milano retweeted a post by the “Sorry Not Sorry” podcast which said, “Nearly one in four women in the United States will have an abortion by age 45. Do you want to share your story on #SorryNotSorry?” and asked for women to share their stories in order to “help shine a light on the importance of bodily autonomy.”

It will pass us on April 13, 2029, and will be so close that we will be able to see it with the unaided eye for several hours. The asteroid is estimated to be around 1,115 feet in diameter, nearly four times taller than the Statue of Liberty.
NASA describes it as “one of the most important near-Earth asteroids ever discovered.” If Apophis were to strike us, it would cause what the space agency calls “major damage to our planet and likely to our civilization as well.”

When you go through the Scriptures meticulously, you will discover that Jesus during His earthly ministry taught people about the importance of the kingdom of God and what to do to make it there. To the Lord Jesus Christ, it is a must for one to do everything humanly possible to get to heaven. One day, He taught the people about a treasure that was hidden in the field in Matthew 13:44, “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field”. He sold everything just to acquire the field. The treasure is the Kingdom of God while the field is the Word of God that brings salvation. The Kingdom of God is hidden in the treasure – salvation.
Jesus said, whatever you can do to get into the Kingdom of God, anything you can trade to make it to heaven, do it. When the rich young man had an encounter with the author of eternal life – Jesus Christ, after observing the young man and his desire to make it to heaven, He said to him, my friend, there is one thing you must do, trade your god of gold (money) for your salvation. But the young man was offended and walked away from his Saviour because he lacked understanding that you must give up something for your freedom. He had made the god of gold his ruler and god. Like that rich young man who couldn’t trade his riches for his freedom, what is that one thing that would hold you back from heaven? Would you trade that thing for your salvation? Would you trade your worldly friends for your eternal salvation? Do everything possible to see Jesus.

The Bible itself is a military book. You find warfare terminologies scattered all over the scriptures. The scripture passages we are going to read will form the basis of the prayers we are going to pray here today.
There are rulers of darkness in our world. Wickedness above, wickedness on earth.
Do you understand what Job was saying in Job 38:12-13? ‘The wicked are deeply entrenched at the ends of the earth and they have to be shaken out of it’.
Spiritually, there are three strongholds in this universe:
The heavenlies
The earth
The sea. That is its headquarters.
In all these three strongholds, wickedness is entrenched and malicious spirit. You do not need to offend them. Immediately your agenda is to do what your purpose is in life, your battle has started.
These wickedness we are talking about, how is it processed, how is it operated? How can you dismantle the wickedness of the wicked? You may not be able to save your family. When one of you family is still consulting herbalist and some are not taking their Christian faith seriously, you can only save yourself.

1. A woman brought two beautiful ladies from the north. Men run after them, but then they were running away from the men. At a point, 12 men were running after one of them. They were still running from men. G.O asked why? The woman who brought them told the girls to tell G.O. The two girls were crying. They said ‘there is no vagina’. They were not born like that. This is wickedness.
That is why it’s the principle of mountain of fire and miracles ministries: ‘stop them before they stop you’.
2. There was a strange case last Saturday. A woman was sitting in the sitting room, a cat walked in. She just saw that, there are two boxing gloves on her breasts. She was still in her shock that, what kind of animal is this that walked in? All of a sudden, the animal gave her a serious blow on her left breast and it changed color. This is wickedness.
3. Just two weeks ago, another one said she was sleeping and all of a sudden, something gave her a hot kiss. She tried to stop it but it didn’t. When she woke up the next morning, she woke up with asthma. This is wickedness.
How is this wickedness processed and how can you intercept?
They are carried out through the wicked trinity.
There is a trinity of the wicked that converts:
Gold-minds to dustbin.
Eagles to chicken.
Heroes to zero.
Celebrities to dunghill.
That has the capacity to rewire brains to failure.
That has wasted so many wonderful talents.
That is an expert at converting somebody to nobody.
That has buried many multiple talents.
That move men from grace to grass.
That put cancer into so many souls.
They turn winners to executive losers.
A trinity of wickedness and we need to understand how to intercept.
What is this trinity of wickedness?
It was an ordination of heaven that the enemy now manipulated.
‘The alter, the sacrifice, and the priest’. These are all spiritual entities designed by the heaven and now polluted by the enemy and turned upside down. The coordinating center of these evil trinity is the ‘alter’. No alter, no priest, no sacrifice, no incense.
The mystery of the wicked alters are malicious. The alter requires a ministering priest. To intercept, you need to attack the alter, the priest and the sacrifice. The most dangerous of the three is the ‘alter’. This is why you find in 1 Kings 13:1-4. Thereafter, Judges 6:25-27. There are so many living outside their villages but there are those who are related to them in the village consulting evil alters against them.
As a science student, I understood that there are living things and non living things. This alter is referred to as non living thing in the physical realm. This is a classic example of the power of the alter (1 Kings 13:1-4).
Until Gideon destroyed those alter of his fathers’ house (Judges 6:25-27), he was not moving forward. Until God uttered destruction, there was no moving forward for those that came out from that foundation.
What are the alters?
Alters are facilities by which sacrifices are brought. Alter is a place of sacrifice, a place of dedication. An alter is a place of contact with the spirit world. Alters can be negative or positive. Even the cross on which Jesus died was an alter.
The churches are alters. An alter is a place of spiritual exchanges. All sacrifices that human beings do at different junctions are evil alters. If you cut off a priest, there will be no one to minister. If you cut off the sacrifice, there will be nothing to provoke demons to actions but if you cut off the alter, there will be no place for ritual. Majority of the wickedness carried out by men against each other are done on the alter. We have to destroy the alters, we have to bring pronouncement against them. We have to strike them down.
This morning:
Surrender your life to Jesus.
Repent from every known sin. Any sin you’re committing, you’re annoying God.
You need to issue curses against that alter.
You need to set fire on that alter and their sacrifices and priests.
You need to withdraw your name from that alter.
You need to possesses your possession that belongs to you even before you were born.
Bottomline: Make it an agenda this morning to strike out every wicked trinity assigned against you. The mystery of the wicked trinity is yet to be explained to modern men. Africa has the largest alter. Practically all markets, every home and even every families have an alter.

Whenever I write about vision statements, I tend to get some visceral reactions. Some people simply abhor the idea of a church having a vision statement. For them, it’s total compromise with the secular culture. It’s treating the church like a business instead of the body of Christ.
Another group responds with intense enthusiasm. They absolutely love the clarity and energy a vision statement can bring. They can’t imagine a church without one.
I tend to see more positives than negatives with a vision statement. For certain, it can be used for the wrong reasons. But it also can bring focus and clarity to what a church should be doing. It can be a healthy and biblical guide to keep a church on track.
Many church leaders will admit the vision statement they use was adapted from another church. They often wonder if it is lazy and unethical to do so. I don’t think so. Indeed, it is really a common practice for many common-sense reasons. Here are five of them.
Churches have similar purposes; they, therefore often have similar vision statements. The biblical purposes of a church are consistent: prayer, evangelism, corporate worship, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry in the community and beyond. It only makes sense that those purposes become common language in many church’s vision statements.
Churches contextualize their vision statements for their specific situations. So, even if vision statements sound similar, their application is different for every congregation. A statement borrowed…
