Ohio 4-H Program Promotes LGBT Ideology, Encourages Children to Use ‘Zie’ Pronoun
Liberty Counsel, a Christian nonprofit organization, is accusing Ohio State University’s 4-H program of promoting “LGBT ideology.”
“OSU should be held accountable for undermining parental rights, replacing children’s innocence with the values of LGBT activists, and misdirecting resources intended for the 4-H program. OSU cannot require parents, children, employees, or volunteers to give up personal privacy and their First Amendment rights as a condition for participation in a state program.
“If Ohio State continues, it risks gutting the Ohio 4-H program. Parents will seek out better opportunities for their children,” said Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel’s founder and chairman.
According to WND.com, Liberty Counsel said in a report that OSU “is intent on silencing or driving away parents, employees or volunteers who believe that there are only two sexes, male and female, and that homosexuality and ‘transgenderism’ are inappropriate subjects for impressionable children and have nothing to do with 4-H.”
Liberty Counsel said all Ohio participants in 4-H attend camps and events where they must share showers or sleep in the same rooms as others who identify as another sex. The counsel also said the college’s program promotes the use of the pronouns, “Zie, Zir and Zirs.”

Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic UK came under question after a late submission of its annual records.
The Commission says it’s worked with leaders to ensure £1.2 million is now accounted for.
Opening an inquiry in March 2017, it found the former trustees responsible for misconduct and mismanagement in the administration of the charity. This included a failure to manage the charity’s funds appropriately.
A new board of trustees has now been brought in.
Harvey Grenville, Head of Investigations at the Charity Commission said: “It is unacceptable that this charity has repeatedly found itself subject to regulatory scrutiny.
“The former trustees failed to meet the expectations of the public and the charity’s beneficiaries in terms of transparency, accountability and the careful stewardship of charitable funds.
“I expect the new board of trustees to continue making good progress, thereby returning the charity to a sounder footing.
“The public deserve to be able to understand how their donations are being spent, and see clearly that they go towards their intended causes. As a result of our inquiry significant charitable funds are now accounted for.”

Jimmy Carter Says Jesus Would Oppose Abortion, Professor Says Many Democrats Agree
A prominent author and professor of American history says he believes many Democrats are pro-life and affirm the views of former Democratic President Jimmy Carter but are afraid to speak out.
John Fea, professor of American history at Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., and author of multiple books, wrote on his blog April 3 that there “are a lot of pro-life Democrats out there who would agree with Carter.”
Carter served from 1977-1981, shortly after the infamous Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion nationwide.
“I never have believed that Jesus Christ would approve of abortions and that was one of the problems I had when I was president having to uphold Roe v. Wade, and I did everything I could to minimize the need for abortions,” Carter said in 2012 on The Laura Ingraham radio show. LifeNews first reported the comments.
“I made it easy to adopt children, for instance, who were unwanted and also initiated the program called Women and Infant Children or WIC program, that’s still in existence now. But except for the times when a mother’s life is in danger or when a pregnancy is caused by rape or incest I would certainly not or never have approved of any abortions.”

In God’s own arithmetic, two people alone make a home. A home is formed at the coming together of only two, not more. The Word of God says: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh (Mark 10:7-8). The coming together of man and woman in marriage is a spiritual conversion from two to one.
Quoting the verse in Genesis, Jesus says: ‘the two will become one flesh’ and draws the following conclusion, ‘So they are no longer two, but one.’ The man and woman who enter into the marriage bond become one flesh and are no longer two, but one entity. Apostle Paul developed this concept by teaching that: …husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body, but feeds and cares for it… (Ephesians 5:28–29 NLT). Paul is saying that a wife is actually a part of her husband’s body—she is of his flesh and blood. He illustrates this mystery by revealing a profound truth that when a man loves his wife, he loves himself for she is a part of him. It follows that when a man hates his wife, he hates his own body. Paul then quotes Genesis 2:24: For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, acknowledging that it is a mystery.

What have you done with your marriage? Set your home right.’ That made him go on his knees, weeping, and he told God he was sorry. That was the beginning of good things. There is something so deep and wonderful in the marriage bond that you need spiritual insight to fully understand its divine significance. The union of husband and wife is used in the Scriptures as a symbol of the unity between Christ and His Church; Christ is the bridegroom and the Church is His bride. Paul says that the Church is a part of Christ; we are members of the body of Christ and Christ is the head of the Church. In the same way, the wife is part of the body of her husband. This union between Christ and His Church is based on the covenant promise, sealed in His blood, that He will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He will remain faithful to His promises even though we are faithless.
In God’s eyes, husband and his wife are one flesh. This must be the reason why Adam, when he first saw his wife said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man (Genesis 2:23). One man and one woman in a marriage relationship equal one flesh. This is God’s arithmetic! This is referring to a fusion of husband and wife, two distinct elements into one.
To access God’s glorious plan for your marriage, you must have a genuine connection with Him. This begins by being born again. This means accepting Jesus as the Lord and personal Saviour of your life. If you desire to surrender and be born again, say this simple prayer in faith: Dear Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You today. I am a sinner. Forgive me my sins and cleanse me with Your Blood. I accept You as my Lord and personal Saviour. Make me a child of God today. THE MESSAGE:
Jesus, from the onset of His ministry, not only began to preach (verse 17) but also began to search and call men whom He trained to fish for other men.
This is very instructive for us because no man is everlasting and no man can be everywhere at the same time. So, when we preach the gospel, we must also be committed to raising men that will be able to do what we are doing. The gospel spreads faster this way and it also guarantees continuity.
Notice the class of men whom the Lord Jesus chose to be His disciples; it included fishermen. Anyone can become a disciple and a fisher of men; willingness to hear the voice of Jesus and follow Him is the basic requirement. Ordinary people turned into great soul winners.
That is what discipleship can achieve. We must therefore not only be engaged in the preaching of the gospel but also in the making of disciples who can do what we are doing. The sons of Zebedee left their boat with their father and followed Jesus.
What do you need to leave to follow? Are you dragging a boat of self-righteousness that is not allowing you see how much you need Jesus in your life? Are you dragging a boat of self-sufficiency that is not allowing you to see your need for a discipler over your life? Check!

Israeli Archaeologists Uncover Town Connected to Abraham
Israeli Archaeologists have uncovered an ancient Second Temple-period settlement linked to Abraham. The find, in the city of Beersheva, revealed a rare lamp chard with a nine-branch menorah, one of the earliest ever discovered. Other artifacts include limestone vessels used for purity rituals, bronze coins, a watchtower, and underground tunnels used by Jewish rebels.
The site was uncovered while construction was underway for a new neighborhood in the southern border of what was the Kingdom of Judah.
Archaeologists are particularly interested in the remnants of the oil lamp.
“This is probably one of the earliest artistic depictions of a nine-branched menorah yet discovered,” excavators Dr. Peter Fabian of the Ben-Gurion University in the Negev and Dr. Daniel Varga of the Israel Antiquities Authority, said.
According to Israel Today, the archaeologists noted that of the few lamps found featuring a menorah none are seven-branched, likely in keeping with a Babylonian Talmud ruling that only the menorah in the Temple could have seven branches. Lamps for domestic use have between eight to eleven branches.

The House of Lords are debating whether to support preventing a no-deal Brexit.
The House of Commons swiftly supported this idea, the Cooper-Letwin bill, by one vote on Wednesday night, meaning there was a slim majority for supporting an extension of Article 50.
In order for the Government to ask the EU for a delay, the bill must pass in the House of Lords. If it does, the Prime Minister could ask the EU for a further delay at a summit next Wednesday.
In the Lords, Lord Leslie Griffiths, a Methodist minister and peer who sits on the Labour benches, took a few minutes out inbetween votes to explain what was going on.
He explained that the proposal seeks to take the initiative of our exit strategy away from the executive (government) and into the hands of parliament.
He told Premier’s News Hour at lunch time: “We are just starting our deliberations now…we’ve already voted three times and I’m standing here and I can hear the bell calling me to vote again and there will be a dozen other calls during the day.”
When asked how he will be voting, he replied: “My position is that…the decision was taken and it was taken by the elected House [of Commons] and the House of Lords mustn’t stand in the way of a piece of legislation that comes to us in that way. Curry is executive producer of Breakthrough, which releases in theaters April 17 and tells the true story of a 15-year-old boy named John Smith who is thought dead when he falls through an icy pond but regains a pulse when his mom begins praying. Chrissy Metz of This Is Us plays the mother.
It is the first film to have Curry’s name on it as a producer.
Breakthrough producer DeVon Franklin recruited Curry for the project, believing it was a good fit. The boy, Smith, is a basketball player.
“He really wants to do entertainment that’s based in sports and family and faith,” Franklin told a panel of Christian media members last month. “And, I said, ‘Dude, take a look at Breakthrough. … It is family-affirming. Obviously it has faith in it. And if you’re interested, I’ll make you an executive producer.’
“And he read the script in a day and he said, ‘I gotta be a part of this.’ And he said, ‘If you’d have me, I’d love to do it.’”
