  1. I soak every grain of this sand that forms part of the soil of my dwelling place in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I hold this sand after the order of Moses, and I use it as a point of contact for the land from where it was removed, let every particle of this sand become hot coals of fire to roast any deposit of darkness in my environment, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Father, let this sand carry judgement back to the camp of any negative covering over the land of my environment, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Father, let the words that I programme into this sand now become sharp arrows to pursue my pursuers and put my enemies to flight, in the name of Jesus.
  5. After the order of Moses, let this sand bring judgement to magicians, sorcerers, and enchanters assigned against my place of dwelling, in the name of Jesus.
  6. Any power mixing incantations with the dust against me, fall by your sword, in Jesus’ name.

NAIROBI, Kenya, March 1, 2019 (Morning Star News) – Christians in a town in southern Ethiopia were stunned when local Muslims attacked 10 church buildings on Feb. 9, destroying one and burning the property inside all the structures, according to aid agencies.


Chanting the jihadist slogan, “Allahu akbar [God is greater],” Muslims in Halaba Kulito targeted worship buildings belonging to eight denominations, reported Scotland-based aid agency Steadfast Global and Voice of the Martyrs-Canada. Kale Hiwot Galeto church’s building was razed.


“The incensed crowds comprising Muslim residents of all ages from across the town made their way to the churches chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ after being given false information that a mosque in the surrounding countryside had been fire-bombed,” said a Steadfast Global representative who requested anonymity. “The contents of all the churches were removed from the buildings and set on fire on the street.”


Except for some minor vandalism, Christians in the town have not suffered such attacks to this extent, he said. But Halaba Kulito, in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region (SNNPR), is a predominantly Muslim town with nearly all Christians there having moved from surrounding villages for work reasons, creating an underlying tension, he added.

Conservative Student Punched in the Face, California Police Issue Warrant for Attacker’s Arrest


Police in California have a felony warrant out for the man who assaulted a student last week on the University of California-Berkeley campus.


Last week, Hayden Williams was helping to set up a recruitment table for the conservative campus group, Turning Point USA, when an argument started between two other men.


Williams began filming the argument with his phone. In another video taken by a bystander, one of the men is shown knocking over the recruitment table and punching Williams in the face.


The attacker left before police arrived, according to CBN News.


“College campuses have become increasingly unsafe for conservatives,” Charlie Kirk, the founder and executive director of Turning Point USA, told Fox News. 


“Our amazing Turning Point USA team was talking and then confronted by the hateful left which resulted in the assault and punching in the face just because of a difference of opinion. If the attacker was wearing a MAGA hat, this would be classified as a hate crime and all over every news channel.”


Williams told CBN News that he is not a member of the Turning Point group, but a Leadership Institute field representative. He says he is still recovering from the attack. He claims he was assaulted because he and other students had printed signs criticizing what he called the “Jussie Smollett hate crime hoax.”

Hebrews 2:9-18:
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Open Heaven 2 March 2019 Saturday MESSAGE:

Yesterday, we started considering the all-important topic of focusing our attention on Jesus Christ, and we saw some of the reasons why we need to fix our eyes on Him while we journey through the wilderness of this world. Today, we shall be reflecting on some of the benefits of looking unto Jesus.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” – Hebrews 4:15

One of the reasons why our Lord took on the form of man was to lay down a pattern of life that would always serve as a perfect example for us to look up to. Although He experienced everything we go through as humans, He triumphed over all. Following His example will therefore cause us to triumph over every trial and temptation we will face in this world. He is the only human figure we can completely pattern our lives after and still live acceptable before the Almighty Father. One virtue of His that we must definitely follow is the virtue of endurance in the face of trials and temptations. The Holy Spirit counsels us to practice this virtue in order to avoid experiencing weariness in our soul and spirit. Speaking in Hebrews 12:3, He said:

“For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”

When we are focused on living as Christ lived, we would not be deterred by what the ungodly do to us. Our Lord says to us in John 15:18-19:

“18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

Don’t be discouraged when your boss maltreats you because you refuse to sleep with him based on your Christian conviction, or when your colleagues hate you because you refuse to go along with their plan to steal from the company. You have already been forewarned of their hostility by the Master, who Himself also endured the “contradiction of sinner”. Lastly, we must focus on Jesus because He is our role model in leadership, giving and love. He established His leadership by serving us, and He gave us His very best by laying down His life as a ransom for our salvation (John 13:1-17, John 10:10-18). As you begin to focus your gaze upon Jesus from today, I pray that God will help you in Jesus’ Name.

Topic: You’ve Got To Know Him

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

Ephesians 1:3 says God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus; and 1 Corinthians 3:21 declares, “…all things are yours.” God has given you everything you require to live victoriously and be a success in life. Meanwhile, in our opening verse, we observe a very important element: it’s about your “knowledge of Him.” There’s nothing you could ever need or desire for a godly life that’s not already yours in Christ. However, making it a reality in your life is a function of your knowledge of Him.

This kind of knowledge is full, exact knowledge—“epignosis” (Greek). God’s provisions aren’t going to come to pass in your life just because they’re written in the pages of the Bible; there’s a knowledge of Him that you must have; knowledge that unites the knower with that which is known; knowledge beyond the senses; specific knowledge, without assumptions.

Something so beautiful and powerful about knowing Him is that not only do you get to know, and are able to appropriate all that He’s given to you, you also get to know yourself. The more you know Him, the more you know you; He mirrors you. His Word mirrors you; in Him, you see you. You can never really know yourself as God knows you until you know Him. He made you; so only He knows what’s inside you and what you’re capable of; He alone can reveal you to you.

Therefore, the way to know Him, and get to discover you, is to study and meditate on the Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 shows that the Word is the mirror of God that reveals your true description. It says, “…we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” Search and discover who you really are, by looking into the mirror of God; by getting to know the Lord. The moment you get a hold of what the Word says is yours, or who the Word says you are, respond by affirming accordingly. That’s how you endorse His Word into manifestation in your life.

PRAYER
 Dear Father, I thank you for giving me everything I need for a godly life of success and victory in this world. I’m full and loaded with blessings; and as I look into your Word, I’m transfigured; your glory is revealed in, and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Salvation Army backs call for asylum seekers’ right to work

As part of the Lift the Ban coalition of businesses, charities, trade unions and faith groups, the church is calling on the Home Secretary to restore the right to work to for people seeking asylum in the UK.

At the moment, asylum seekers are not allowed to work while their applications are being considered.

The Lift the Ban coalition though, says annual government immigration statistics show that the number of people waiting more than six months for a decision on their asylum claim has risen to record levels.

It says this means people are not able to work for long periods meaning they are forced to live in poverty, often for many years.

Major Nick Coke, National Refugee Response Coordinator and church leader at The Salvation Army told Premier:

“We believe that people who have risked everything to find safety should have the best chance of contributing to society and integrating into communities, as well as having the opportunity to better support their families. This is why The Salvation Army is part of the coalition calling on the Government to ‘lift the ban’ and give people seeking asylum in the UK the right to work – and the right to use their skills and live in dignity.”

Historic WWII Bible Removed from Veterans Hospital Display after Complaint


Complaints from a civil rights group has forced the removal of a World War II Bible from a veterans hospital display, although the group says the Bible’s new location is just as problematic.


The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., last year allowed a museum-like “Missing Man Display” to be assembled to honor the nation’s POWs and missing veterans. 


The display involved an empty chair at a kitchen table, with a plate, drinking glass, candle, flower, American flag and salt shaker sitting atop a table cloth, WMUR reported. A Bible that was carried by a POW in World War II also was part of the display, but it was removed after a complaint from the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.  


Veteran Paul Martin and his Northeast POW-MIA Network were in charge of the display.


“That Bible is not just a religious artifact — that some people would say they’re stuffing religion down my throat,” Martin told WMUR. “What it means is this guy held on to a lot of faith and hope, family and trust in this nation that they would do everything they possibly could to bring him home.”


The hospital transferred the Bible from the Missing Man Display, which is behind ropes out in the open, to a protected case behind glass. That is just as problematic to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, which says 14 veterans have…

Man will stand trial for missing student Joy Morgan’s murder and church issue statement

The vehicle, pictured, which has been located, belongs to Shohfah-El Israel, aged 40, of Fordwych Road, London, who is charged with murder.

His real name is Ajibola Shogbamimu but he changed it by deed poll. 

He appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Friday morning and will next appear for a pre-trial preparation hearing on Friday 31st May with a trial set for Monday 8th July. 

Joy, who would have turned 21 last month, was a University of Hertfordshire midwifery student who was last seen at an event at her church – Israel United in Christ (IUIC) in Ilford on Boxing Day. 

The church is part of a wider movement in America and encourage members to change their real name to a Hebrew name when they commit and don’t believe in celebrating Christmas or birthdays.

They hold specific views on race, saying on their website: ‘Our goal is to change the heart and minds of our people. Blacks and Hispancis must learn the truth that they are the Biblical 12 tribes of the nation of Israel.’

The New York branch of IUIC released a statement in relation to the investigation, saying: “local news reports…have misconstructed IUIC’s involvment into the investigation of Joy Morgan’s disappearance.”

They say they: “spoke to our members and encouraged them to cooperate fully with the law enforcement investigation”.

Bonnie Love is a mother who didn’t want her youngest child, Isabella, growing up with a gender assignment.


So when Isabella was born, Love and her female partner didn’t use a gender-specific pronoun. They gave her toys that are popular for both boys and girls. They didn’t use gender-specific colors, such as pink and purple. 


The goal: let Isabella choose her gender. 


“Our family had a really hard time with that because it’s not normal, and people wanted to know whether or not to buy the pink or the blue, and I also didn’t want that,” Love toldFox 11 television in Los Angeles. 


It’s part of a new trend among some parents of raising “theybies” – newborn babies who spend the first years of their lives without a gender assignment, apart from the birth certificate. 


“I think that you’re born a specific way, and… however you identify is on your own,” Love said. 


Parents of theybies avoid pronouns such as “he” and “she.” Instead, they use plural pronouns: “they” and “them” to reference the child.  


Love’s first daughter, Madelyn, wasn’t raised this way. 


“I raised them differently,” Love told the television station. “Well, similar, but a little different in the sense of the gender neutrality. I had a lot of pink, a lot of purple. A lot of the gifts that were given to Madelyn’s baby…
