The God Of Miracles – By David Ibiyeomie

Topic: The God Of Miracles

Our God is a God of miracles; He is the one and only miracle working God. He will give you a new miracle today in the name of Jesus! Whatever is a reproach in your life will drop off today because the God of miracle will meet you at that point of your need in the name of Jesus!

Psalm 72:18 -Thank the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does miracles. {GW}

Let no one deceive you that the days of miracles are over. If you think it is over, it is like saying that God no longer exists; it is like saying that the Bible is no longer the Word of God but that is not true because He is the Lord that changes not. If He did miracles yesterday, He will still do miracles today and tomorrow.

Mal.3:6a – For I am the Lord, I change not;

Heb.13:8 -Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

God is not a magician but a miracle worker. Magic is satanic and deceptive but miracles are the acts of God; they are beyond human reasoning. Miracles are spiritual forces dominating human and physical forces. They are the deliberate acts of God provoked by the desperate faith of men.

If there is no miracle, how can you explain a 90year old woman giving birth to a living child without any scientific aid? How do you explain a 4day old buried corpse coming back to life without any damaged part of his body? How do you explain 5loaves and 2fishes feeding 5000 men; not counting women and children and still there were leftovers? There is no scientific means to explain those acts and God has not stopped doing miracles.

Jer.32:27 – Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

From the above scripture, I know God will make that impossible situation in your life to become possible in the name of Jesus! The kingdom of God is the kingdom of miracles. The entire creation is of miracles and the church of Jesus began with miracles.

Miracles are encompassing; they are not limited to healing alone. Miracle is simply God intervening in the affairs of man; it can happen in any sphere of life. When God steps into a situation, a miracle is born no matter the situation. Everything about Jesus from birth to ascension is miracle. When you take away miracle from Christianity, it will become mere religion.

Acts 2:22 -Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

When Jesus was on earth, He performed all manner of miracles: gave food to the hungry, delivered the oppressed, healed the sick, raised the dead, etc. today, He has commissioned you to go after that kind.

John 20:21 -Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

Jesus expressed so much confidence on the believers so that we will continue in the work He did.

John 14:12 -Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Mark 16:17-18 -And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This means that you are not supposed to be running after sings as a believer; signs are meant to run after you. You are meant to be living a life of miracles; a commander of miracles signs and wonders.

If you must be a commander of signs and wonders, there is a tool you must not ignore – THE WORD OF GOD.

God’s word is an indispensable force in the working of miracles. The miracle of creation came by the instrumentality of the word of God.

Heb.11:3 – Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

It was God’s word that created everything on earth and that word will create new things in your life today in the name of Jesus! The word of God is the master key for every sign you want to experience in life.

The degree of miracles you will enjoy is determined by how you are able to apply God’s word because with it, you become a performer and a partaker of the miracles of God; nobody has the word of God and lacks miracles.

God’s word is powerful because God’s word is God Himself. Every virtue inside God resides in His word; so, whatever God can do, His word can do same too. God’s word is powerful because it carries eternal life; it imparts supernatural life into a mortal body. God’s word has power to revitalize any part of your body.

John 1:14 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The word of God took human form from the above scripture. This means it has the ability to recreate any organ in your body. That is why I know that any organ that is missing or damaged in your body will be replaced this hour in the name of Jesus!

Psalm 119:50 – This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

In case you are passing through any trouble of life, I stand on the integrity of God’s work and declare that life is coming to change that situation in the name of Jesus!

Luke 5:5 -And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

God’s word has the ability to stop suffering and toiling. It has creative ability; the moment the word of God went forth, fishes began to come out from the same water that Peter could not catch fish all through the night. I announce to you that frustration ends today! Toiling ends today! Begging ends today! The word of God is turning your toiling into abundance in the name of Jesus!

Until you are in touch with the Word, you cannot be in touch with signs and wonders. Therefore, go for the word of God. You don’t need to look for miracles; you work them out through the Word of God. When you have Word conception, you deliver miracles. As you settle with the Word of God from today, begin to enjoy the miraculous acts of God in your life in the name of Jesus – Amen!!!

God bless you

TREM Devotional 10 June 2018 by Dr. Mike Okonkwo – You Have Seen Well

Topic: You Have Seen Well [TREM Devotional Sunday June 10, 2018]

“Then said the Lord unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” – Jeremiah 1:12

What we see is very important. Like I mentioned two days ago, the eye is a gate to your mind. What you see has the ability to determine what you get.

Stop for a moment and ask yourself: what are you seeing? The world we live in is so primed for evil that many times, the negatives flood our minds and form the picture in your heart. But you must consciously dethrone it and paint the picture you desire. Like the popular saying: what you see is what you get.

What are you seeing? The writer of Hebrews enjoins us to look unto Jesus; “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.” (Heb. 12:2). When your eyes are fixed on Jesus, what do you see? You see all that He died for – you see your body healed by His stripes, you see your needs met from His abundance. You see all that He has made available to you.

2 Corinthians 4:18 also says “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” God intends for us to fix our eyes on Jesus, and not on our circumstances. Situations are subject to change, but the Word of God stands forever. If you would observe the natural, situations have changed over time. For instance, if you wanted to read a book before now, you had to drive to a bookshop to find the book and purchase it. But now, at the click of a button, you can have the book on your device. Things have indeed changed, but one thing that has remained constant over time is the Word of God. It is still as powerful and as strong as it was centuries ago. So, fix your eyes on the Word of God and the Word will produce for you.

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional Sunday, 10 June 2018 – Dealing With Foundational Altars

TOPIC: Dealing With Foundational Altars (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Sunday, 10 June 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Judges 6:24-27

MEMORY VERSE: “And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.”Genesis 12:7

The MESSAGE:

Many people come from a background of primitive idolatry like the case of Gideon in our Fire Scripture today. Sadly too, our forefathers serve and worshipped idols, particularly in Africa. There is no way anyone can serve and worship without raising an altar. Idols are possessive and demand worship just like the Holy God demands worship. They ensure that those who worship them erect altars where libations are poured and materials of sacrifice are offered. Adherents physically demonstrate their allegiance, concentration and commitment to the idols. Unfortunately, our forefathers who served and worshipped idols did not really know about the overpowering influence of the altars. Thus, as far as they were concerned, family idol altar is just a place where contact can be made with their ancestors and communal idols. Little did they know that by erecting altars, they were laying foundation of destiny failure for future generations in disguise. Unconsciously, they have built a foundation upon which many of us have continued to live our lives. This has led to strong foundational problems like yokes, poverty, affliction, hardship, failure in marriage, academic and business stagnancy, backwardness and various mysterious life battles. No matter how glorious your destiny is, if it is built on the platform of evil foundational altars, you cannot go very far in life’s endeavours. Altars are so powerful that a single one can affect the lives and destiny of unborn children. The powers behind demonic altars are only interested in capturing and destroying destinies. These demonic powers use altars as bridges between their evil intention and the destinies of their victims.

Now, how do we deal with the ancient altars raised by our ancestors? It should be exactly the same way Gideon dealt with it in Judges 6:11-32.

1. Genuine encounter with Christ through sound repentance and salvation.
2. Living daily a holy life in all circumstances.
3. You must raise a divine altar unto the Lord through regular quiet time, deep personal Bible reading, studying and meditation.
4. Involve YOURSELF in faithful service in the House of God (i.e. House fellowship and church services)
5. Engage yourself in personal or and group soul winning.
6. Submit yourself for foundational deliverance.
7. Thirst and hunger earnestly for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
8. Fear God and keep His commandments.

I pray God will help and see you through, in the name of Jesus.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
You cannot build a lasting and enduring destiny on a bad foundation.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Every evil altar opposing your destiny shall catch fire and burn to ashes.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING
1. Every faulty foundation built by my ancestors, break down, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every idol altar in the foundation of my life, catch fire and burn to ashes, in the name of Jesus.
3. My foundation receive fire, become fire and possesses fire, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. I cut down and destroy totally, the idol altars of my father’s house by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every satanic agent in my foundation, die, in the name of Jesus.
6. All my trapped blessings by the evil altars of my father’s house, be released unto me now by fire and by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
7. I pledge my absolute allegiance to Jesus Christ my LORD and SAVIOUR, in the name of Jesus.

Andrew Wommack’s Devotional 10 June 2018 – Holy Ghost Teacher

Topic: Holy Ghost Teacher [Andrew Wommack Sunday June 10, 2018]

John 7:15 “And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?”

Text: John 7:14-15

Jesus received His wisdom and knowledge by direct revelation from the Spirit of God rather than by the teachings of man. Jesus had been learning, but not through man. The Holy Ghost was His teacher. Jesus had to be taught the things of God. This looks contrary to Colossians 2:3, which says that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus. If Jesus was God manifest in the flesh, why would He have to learn or be taught?

The harmony between these apparently opposite statements is that Jesus’ spirit man was 100% God and had all of the wisdom and understanding of God in it, but it was manifest in natural flesh. It wasn’t sinful flesh but it was flesh, nonetheless, and had to be educated. Jesus was not taught by man, but He was taught by the direct revelation of the Holy Spirit. The knowledge was within Him but it had to be drawn out.

At the new birth, a born-again man’s spirit “is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him” (Col. 3:10). “We have the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16), and “an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things” (1 Jn. 2:20). All of these things are a reality in our spiritual man. However, just as Jesus had to be taught, so we must draw this wisdom and knowledge out of our spirits and renew our minds with it (Rom. 12:2). This is one of the main ministries of the Holy Spirit to the believer. Through the new birth, we have received the mind of Christ in our spirit man and are in the process of growing in wisdom by drawing this knowledge out of our spirits and renewing (or reprogramming) our minds. This wisdom has to be drawn out by faith, time spent in the Word, and prayer.

2,800-Year-Old Face Sculpture, Possibly of Biblical King, Found in Israel – Urban Christian News

A small carved sculpture discovered in the ancient city of Abel Beth Maacah in northern Israel, and dating back over 2,800 years, could be a depiction of a biblical king, according to archaeologists.

Robert Mullins, a professor at Azusa Pacific University’s Department of Biblical and Religious Studies, who is co-director of excavations in the ancient city, said last week that the sculpture was found last summer in a large building at the highest point of the city.

The figure, only 2 by 2.2 inches in size and carved in a type of glazed ceramic, depicts a man with long black hair and a beard, wearing a yellow and black headband.

The head was originally attached to a figurine that would have stood 8-10 inches in height.

“Despite the head’s small and innocuous appearance, it provides us with a unique opportunity to gaze into the eyes of a famous person from the past; a past enshrined in the Book of Ages,” said Mullins.

“Given that the head was found in a city that sat on the border of three different ancient kingdoms, we do not know whether it depicts the likes of King Ahab of Israel, King Hazael of Aram-Damascus, or King Ethbaal of Tyre, rulers known from the Bible and other sources. The head represents a royal enigma.”

Billy Graham Devotional 10 June 2018 – His Love Is Obvious

Topic: His Love Is Obvious [Billy Graham’s Devotional Sunday June 10, 2018]

. . . the love of God toward us . . . — 1 John 4:9

Notice God’s love. The Bible teaches that God is love. You and I were sinners. We were aliens from God. We were enemies of God. We had rebelled against God. We deserved hell, but in spite of the fact that we resisted God, we rebelled against God, we sinned against God, we were enemies of God—the Bible says God loved us anyway with an everlasting love so that He was willing to give His Son to die on the cross for our sins. There is not a person who has the ability to love that way unless he comes to Christ. You don’t have the power to love.

Prayer for the day: Your love encompasses me, Lord Jesus, wherever I may be. There are so many who need the healing of Your love in their lives. Fill me to overflowing with “agapé” love for them.

Our Daily Bread Devotional 10 June 2018 – A Warm Welcome

Topic: A Warm Welcome [Our Daily Bread 10 Sunday June, 2018]

Read: 1 Peter 4:7–11, Bible in a Year: 2 Chronicles 34–36; John 19:1–22

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:9

“Who will hug everybody?”

That was one of the questions our friend Steve asked after he got the news that he had cancer and realized he would be away from our church for a while. Steve is the kind of man who makes everyone feel welcome—with a friendly greeting, a warm handshake, and even a “holy hug” for some—to adapt an application from Romans 16:16, which says, “Greet one another with a holy kiss.”

And now, as we pray for Steve that God will heal him, he is concerned that as he goes through surgery and treatment—and is away from our church for a time—we will miss out on those welcoming greetings.

Perhaps not all of us are cut out to greet one another as openly as Steve does, but his example of caring for people is a good reminder to us. Notice that Peter says to “offer hospitality to one another without grumbling,” or in a way that centers on love (1 Peter 4:9; see Philippians 2:14). While first-century hospitality included offering accommodations to travelers—even that always starts with a welcoming greeting.

As we interact with others in love, whether with a hug or just a friendly smile, we do so “that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 4:11).

Prayer: Lord, help us to represent You to others. Guide us to show hospitality in a way that will show others Your love.

When we practice hospitality, we share God’s goodness.

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland Devotional 10 June 2018 – Develop the Love

Topic: Develop the Love [Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, Sunday June 10, 2018]

And what this love consists in is this: that we live and walk in accordance with and guided by His commandments (His orders, ordinances, precepts, teaching). This is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you continue to walk in love [guided by it and following it]. – 2 John 1:6, The Amplified Bible

Quite simply, God says love is keeping His commandments. That brings love out of the indefinite into something explicit. But God has done more than define love for you. He’s given you instructions so that you can know how to love as He loves. By giving you His Word, God has given you His love manual in black and white. All you have to do is follow it and you’ll be walking in love.

If you’ve made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, you’ve already taken the first step of obedience. The love of God has been born within you. But, unless you take steps to develop it, that love will remain hidden within you. Love works in much the same way as the force of faith. Like faith, love becomes active through knowledge of the Word.

Become love conscious by confessing and acting on God’s Word today. As you meditate these scriptures, see yourself living the love life. See yourself walking in accordance with and guided by the commandments of Jesus. Develop the love He has hidden in you.

Seeds of Destiny 10 June 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Effects Of Negative Patterns On Destiny

Topic: The Effects Of Negative Patterns On Destiny [Seeds of Destiny Sunday June 10, 2018]

Scripture: And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Genesis 32:24

Thought For The Day: A major reason for the struggles and limitations of many people in life and destiny is negative cycles and patterns in their lineage.

Negative patterns are real! Negative tendencies exist! These refer to a regular evil, a negative cycle or pattern of behaviour, occurrence, event or tendency that is repeated so often that it becomes typical of someone or their family lineage. These patterns limit destiny!

Jacob was a man whose life was characterized with negative tendencies. In his family, there was an evil pattern of barrenness; Sarah, his grandmother, Rebecca (his mother), Leah and Rachael (his wives) were all barren at one time or the other in their lives. There was also a pattern of perennial struggle in his life. Though things seemed to be working out for him, his struggles continued alongside unabated. He struggled at birth when he wrestled with his brother Esau, he struggled for the birth-right by selling his food to Esau in exchange for it, he struggled to get his father’s blessing by telling lies, he struggled to marry Laban’s daughters by labouring for fourteen years, he also laboured for seven years for the livestock and Laban changed his wages ten times.

Everything was working for Jacob, but with struggles and pains. One day, he decided that the struggles of his life must end. He must have told himself, I do not like this ugly pattern in my life. Even though I am succeeding; I am struggling and sweating too much. Why is everything about my life struggle and fight?

Jacob’s experience was not peculiar to his family alone; many people today are victims of negative cycles and patterns of life. The reason for the struggles and limitations of many people is negative cycles or patterns in their lineage.

Beloved, I do not know the negative pattern in your life, destiny and family – it may be poverty, empty-handedness, failure at the edge of breakthrough, etc. which have limited your destiny; today that evil pattern is broken and you shall fulfil your destiny in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The reason for the struggles and limitations of many people is negative cycles and patterns in their lineage.

Assignments:
1. Ask God to show you any negative pattern in your life.
2. Make up your mind that it must end so you can fulfil destiny.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to any negative pattern and habit in my life. Deal with them Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna 10 June, 2018 by Pastor Kumuyi – Self-Discovery

Topic: Self-Discovery [DCLM Daily Manna Sunday June 10, 2018]

Text: Acts 8:26-40 (KJV)

Key Verse: “And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him” (Acts 8:31).

MESSAGE:

In the passage under consideration, the Ethiopian eunuch came to realisation that he did not know the Scriptures even though he had been going to Jerusalem to worship. For him, it was a religious expedition devoid of righteousness. Even though he was pious, his spiritual eyes were still blind. He discovered his ignorance of God’s word only after Philip’s interpretation of the passage he read.

He loved God and His word. The Holy Spirit sent the preacher in order to help him understand the Scriptures and to tell him what he had to do to be saved. It was during the encounter that his eyes opened to the Scriptures. The man was humble. This simplicity of heart enabled Philip to have a successful and fruitful discussion with him, which ultimately resulted in his salvation.

There are many lessons to learn here. We must always listen to and obey the voice of the Spirit of God as Philip did. We must not conclude that certain people have no need of the gospel because of their position in the world or their wealth.

Besides, salvation comes to man by grace. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

It takes the working of the Spirit for man to be convinced about his sinful state and for him to yield his life to Christ.

Thought For The Day: Discover your spiritual whereabouts and align with your Maker.
