Faith For Answered Prayers – By David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Faith For Answered Prayers

The bible defines faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. It is evidential and substantial

Heb. 11:1-2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Faith is a spiritual force that commits God’s integrity to make good His promise. In other words, if God has said anything to you and you have faith, you therefore have committed His integrity. Faith is a guaranteed access to all your inheritance in life; it is a bridge that connects you to your destination.

As a child of God you are supposed to have faith and believe in your prayers and also the word of God – Romans 12:3b. As a believer, you should learn to understand the need to develop and strengthen your faith. Faith has only one source and grows through only that source according to Romans 10:17. The source of faith is the word of God.

Rom.10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The prayer of faith is making decrees based on His words with deep conviction and settled assurance- James 5:13-15. There is a prayer called prayer of faith; not just prayer alone. In the kingdom of God, it is not just prayer that works; it is prayer wrapped in faith that produces good and desired results -Acts 20:9-12.

As a Christian, there are procedures to achieve a prayer of faith in order to achieve good results. God will not hear a prayer that is not backed up with his words – 1 John 5:14. Hosea 14:2. Faith works with believing; it is the assurance that the prayers are answered and it is done even before you see a physical manifestation.

Mark 11:24 – Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

The prayer of faith is not seeing the physical before believing; it is believing before seeing physical manifestations. As you begin to pray with faith, so shall all your expectation that are in accordance with God’s word come to pass in your life in the name of Jesus –Amen!

God bless you

Impartation By David Ibiyeomie

Topic: Impartation.

Great men are those who stand on the shoulders of others to see far; if you have no reference, no one will refer to you.

Impartation is the transference of unction from a higher vessel to another; it is the outflow of the Holy Spirit through human vessels for divine accomplishments.

Hard work alone does not guarantee success. As a believer, you cannot get to the top without the supernatural help of God.

Impartation takes you beyond strength, expertise, skill & connections – 1 Kings 18:46, Numbers 11:17, Romans 1:11

How To Prepare For Impartation:

Your level of establishment in all spheres of life is tied to Impartation – 1 Timothy 4:14.
1. Possess a pure heart.
The state of your heart will determine the amount of virtue available to you – 1 Peter 1:22.
Proximity does not guarantee impartation; connectivity does.
2. Desire & covet the gifts – 1 Corinthians 12:31.
3. Be expectant – Acts 12:5-17.
4. Be meek – Psalm 25:9.
5. Consciously accept and believe God’s vessel – 2 Chronicles 20:20b.
The gifts of God cannot be purchased with money – Acts 8:20.
6. Connect with your heart – Proverbs 16:1, 1 Peter 1:22.
Your heart has to be prepared if you must be imparted.
You cannot carry the grace of a man you do not have a pure heart towards.

How To Be Imparted:

1. Through laying of hands – Deuteronomy 34:9.
2. Spoken words – Ezekiel 2:2.
3. Anointing oil – Exodus 30:30.
4. Personal contact – 2 Kings 3:11.
5. Anointed materials – Acts 19:12.
6. Prophecy – 1 Timothy 4:14.

MFM Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional Sunday, 3 June 2018 – Instrument Of Failure

TOPIC: Instrument Of Failure (Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries Sunday, 3 June 2018)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1 Samuel 2:29-30

MEMORY VERSE:“Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;”Jeremiah 51:20

The MESSAGE:

Eli was a devout man of God but his children were instruments of failure in God’s ministry. They defiled sacrifices offered to God and His temple by their inordinate sexual appetite and greediness. In addition, their father could not stop them from the evil they perpetrated. They did not follow the way of their father, Eli, and eventually brought God’s anger upon their lives, father and lineage forever. Your children will not be misfired arrows in the hand of their Maker, in Jesus’ name.

There are other examples of people in the Bible who started well, made exploits for God but whose names did not appear in the ‘Hall of Faith’ (Hebrew 11). WHY? They were instruments of failure in the hand of their Maker. Reuben, in the account of Genesis 49, was the first born of Jacob, the excellency of dignity. However, he slept with his father’s wife and received a curse from his father. Something in him pushed him to his father’s wife, made him instrument of failure and eventually turned him and his descendants to tenants in their father’s house forever.

Gehazi was also another instrument of failure. He would have received quadrupled portion of Elijah’s blessings but he loved worldly things. He eventually became a bigger loser with all his descendants. Also, in 2 Timothy 4:10, Paul said, “Demas hath forsaken me.” Why? The only reason Paul gave was that Demas loved this present world.

God’s desire is that you become His battle axe and weapon of war to destroy rebellious nations and kingdoms. Eli and his lineage were to be in the service of God forever, but sin destroyed this blueprint of God. I pray for you, you will not become an instrument of dishonour, in Jesus’ name.

Sin will make you an instrument of failure. It disqualifies you from being what God wants you to be. Therefore, anything that will make you unqualified as his battle axe (the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life) should be removed by prayer and deliverance. Study and meditate on the word of God daily in order to know the mind of God.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
Deal with those negative tendencies before they deal with you.

PROPHETIC WORD:
The anointing of the overcomer shall come upon you.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. Instrument of perdition in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Curse of failure of my father’s house shall not prosper in my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Failure, I am not your candidate, die, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING
4. Thrones of darkness legislating against me, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
5. Every stone placed on my way of moving forward, scatter, in the name of Jesus.
6. Disappointment, frustration and discouragement, melt away, in the name of Jesus.
7. The light of God shall shine upon my way, in the name of Jesus.

TREM Devotional 3 June 2018 by Dr. Mike Okonkwo – No Favoritism With God

Topic: No Favoritism With God [TREM Devotional Sunday June 3, 2018]

“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:” Acts 10:34

The New Living Translation says “Then Peter replied, “I see clearly that God shows no favouritism.”” Did you see that? The God you serve isn’t given to preferential treatment; He loves you absolutely and wholly, like you are the only one in the universe.

It is human to show preferential treatment, but God is not a man. This also shows that everyone has equal access to the promises of God, it’s available for everyone. So, how come some people are benefitting from it, and the rest are not. It is important to have it established in your heart the fact that God loves us all as individuals, He doesn’t love one person more than the other.

John 3:36 (NLT) tells us that “anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life…” Did you see that? It says it’s available to anyone that believes. The promises of God are written in the scriptures to show you what God has already perfected in eternity. When you read through the scriptures, you see several examples of what God did, for He loves you like you are the only one in the universe. He is not like man that shows preference, He loves you as an individual.

If you read the entire Acts 10, you will read about a man named Cornelius. He was a Roman soldier, and so was different from the Jews, who were God’s own people at the time. The Jews considered unclean anyone who wasn’t a Jew, but yet God visited him. You see by Peter’s standards, Cornelius wasn’t one to be associated with, especially when it comes to the things of God, but thank God because His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our thoughts. Despite being a gentile as far as Peter is concerned, God reached out and touched him and not only was Cornelius saved, but his household too.

Kenneth & Gloria Copeland Devotional 3 June 2018 – Free From Fear

Topic: Free From Fear [Kenneth & Gloria Copeland, Sunday June 3, 2018]

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. – 2 Timothy 1:7

What would you think if I told you that you could live without fear? Would you believe me if I said that despite what you saw on the news tonight, you could be perfectly at peace? Impossible? Unrealistic? No!

You see, fear isn’t just a reaction to external circumstances. It’s a spiritual force. It begins inside of you. And it is totally destructive. In fact, fear is Satan’s primary weapon. He moves in response to fear, the way God moves in response to faith. He challenges the promises of God with it.

An excellent example of this is found in Matthew 14 when Jesus invited Peter to come to Him on the water. “But when he [Peter] saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me” (verse 30).

What enabled Peter to walk on the water? His faith in the Word of Jesus. What caused Peter to sink? He saw the wind boisterous and he was afraid. It wasn’t the wind that defeated him, it was his fear of it! He looked at his circumstances, gave in to the fear, and the result was defeat. If Peter had kept his focus on Jesus, his faith would never have wavered. All the blustering and blowing in the world couldn’t have drawn him off course.

Faith is developed by meditating on God’s Word. Fear is developed by meditating on Satan’s lies. Such fearful meditation is called “worrying.” Don’t do it!

The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. Use it to fight Satan every time he comes against you. Hold up your shield of faith and quench all of his fiery darts. Speak words of faith and fear will depart.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 27

Our Daily Bread Devotional 3 June 2018 – Clocks and Calendars

Topic: Clocks and Calendars [Our Daily Bread 3 Sunday June, 2018]

Read: Psalm 62, Bible in a Year: 2 Chronicles 19–20; John 13:21–38

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8

My father died at 58 years of age. Ever since then, I pause on the date he died to remember Dad and reflect on his influence in my life. When I realized I had lived more of life without my dad than with him, I began pondering the brevity of my own life.

On reflection, we may wrestle with both an event in time and the feelings it stirs within us. Though we measure time with clocks and calendars, we remember times because of events. In the moments of life that trigger our deepest emotions, we can experience joy, loss, blessing, pain, success, failure.

The Scriptures encourage us: “Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge” (Psalm 62:8). This confident statement did not occur in a time of ease. David wrote these words while surrounded by enemies (vv. 3–4). Still, he waited quietly before God (vv. 1, 5) reminding us that God’s unfailing love (v. 12) is greater than any of the times of struggle we may face.

In every event, we have this confidence: Our God stands with us, and He is more than adequate to carry us through all of life’s moments. When the times of life threaten to overwhelm us, His help will be right on time.

Prayer: We’re grateful that You are always and will always be faithful to us, Father.

Our God is ready to be with us in all the times of life.

Andrew Wommack’s Devotional 3 June 2018 – Fasting Drives Away Doubt

Topic: Fasting Drives Away Doubt [Andrew Wommack Sunday June 3, 2018]

Mark 9:29 “And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”

Text: Mark 9:28-29

Prayer and fasting do not drive certain demons out. If the name of Jesus and faith in His name won’t do the job, then fasting and prayer won’t either. Jesus is saying that fasting and prayer are the only ways of casting out this type of unbelief.

An unbelief that comes as a result of ignorance can be done away with by receiving the truth of God’s Word (Rom. 10:17; 2 Pet. 1:4). However, the unbelief that hindered the disciples in this case was a “natural” type of unbelief. They had been taught all of their lives to believe what their five senses told them. They were simply dominated by this natural input more than by God’s supernatural input (God’s Word). The only way to overcome this unbelief that comes through our senses is to deny our senses through prayer and fasting.

Fasting accomplishes many things. One of the greatest benefits of fasting is that through denying the lusts of the flesh, the spirit man gains ascendancy. Fasting was always used as a means of seeking God to the exclusion of all else. Fasting does not cast out demons but rather, it casts out unbelief. Fasting is beneficial in every aspect of the Christian life – not only in the casting out of devils.

The real virtue of a fast is in humbling ourselves through self denial (Ps. 35:13; 69:10), and that can be accomplished through ways other than total abstinence. Partial fasts can be beneficial, as well as fasts of our time or pleasures. However, because appetite for food is one of man’s strongest drives, fasting from food seems to get the job done the quickest. Fasting should be a much more important part of our seeking God.

Billy Graham Devotional 3 June 2018 – Being Rich

Topic: Being Rich [Billy Graham’s Devotional Sunday June 3, 2018]

Real life and real living are not related to how rich we are. — Luke 12:15 (TLB)

There are two ways of being rich—have a lot, or want very little. The latter way is the easier for most of us. Many people make themselves miserable by wanting more than they can ever have. They suffer from “thing-itis,” the insatiable desire for more, better, and newer things. Jesus was the most satisfied man that ever lived, and He had less than most of us. “The foxes have their holes, and the birds their nests, but the Son of man has no place to lay His head.” He had learned the secret of adjusting His wants to His needs.

E. Stanley Jones tells about a poor man who had an overnight guest, and as he showed him to his humble bedroom in the hayloft, he said, “If there is anything you want, let us know, and we’ll come and show you how to get along without it.” We don’t need to learn how to get more, but how to get along with what we’ve got, and get on with the business of living.

Prayer for the day: Father, You have given me so much more than I deserve. May I always show a grateful and contented heart.

Seeds of Destiny 3 June 2018 by Pastor Paul Enenche: The Impact Of Awareness On Destiny

Topic: The Impact Of Awareness On Destiny [Seeds of Destiny Sunday June 3, 2018]

Scripture: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Proverbs 23:7a

Thought For The Day: Awareness affects atmosphere and your atmosphere determines the attractions of your life.

Previously, we established that being aware of who you are and what you have is critical to becoming who you should be in life. This is one major impact of awareness on destiny.

Now, it is important to know another impact of awareness on one’s life: Awareness affects Atmosphere!

Awareness affects environment. Let me give you an example: when you come to the presence of a king or a rich man, you would perceive or smell royalty and opulence in the atmosphere. Similarly, when you come into the atmosphere of a poor man, you would perceive depression, gloominess, timidity and apology.

Beloved, awareness affects atmosphere and atmosphere determines attraction; what you think inside is what you become outside. You cannot have the mentality of a king and have the atmosphere or reality of a slave.

To change your atmosphere, there is a need to change your awareness. For example, you may not have a million dollar in your bank account physically but if you begin to think it, you can create the atmosphere and your results in life will begin to change. You do not need to have it in order to think it; you think it in order to have it. What goes on inside you affects what happens around you; the picture you have in your mind affects the picture of life you see around you. So, if you do not like things you see around you, begin to change what is going on inside you. When you are inferiority-minded, for instance, you attract inferior results, but when you are superiority-minded, you attract superior results.

The awareness of who you are affects what you eventually become. Therefore, it is important to know who you are. Always remember that you are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, a peculiar person, the head and not the tail (1Peter 2:9, Deuteronomy 28:13). The awareness of this affects the way you do things.

Today, receive the capacity to enlarge your thought, imagination and thinking, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: Awareness produces atmosphere and your atmosphere determines the attractions of your life.

Assignments:
1. Refuse to think lower than what God says about you.
2. Attract the right atmosphere to your life by right thinking.

Prayer: O LORD, I receive the grace to think Your Thoughts about me. I attract the right atmosphere into my life by thinking the right kind of thoughts, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna 3 June, 2018 by Pastor Kumuyi – Bridled Tongue

Topic: Bridled Tongue [DCLM Daily Manna Sunday June 3, 2018]

Text: James 3:1-18 (KJV)

Key Verse: “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body” (James 3:2).

MESSAGE:

Silence is the ultimate weapon of power”, says Charles de Gaulle. “Silence is one of the hardest arguments to refute”, notes a philosopher. Research findings have shown that one-fifth of our lives on earth is spent on talking.

James, in the text being considered, admonishes us about the tongue. He calls it an untamed, unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Man has tamed every kind of animal. Yet, the human tongue remains untamed. It may be used to bless or curse. That is why the apostle concluded that if anyone is able to bridle his/her tongue, he/she is a perfect person.

Though concealed in the mouth, the tongue is the most reliable reflection of the true nature of a person. The inability of the natural man to tame the tongue lies in the inextricable connection that exists between the tongue and the heart; “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Matthew 12:34). It shows clearly who we are and to whom we belong. We cannot claim to be true Christians if our words are sharp and critical; if men and women, including our spouses, are discouraged or cry in the secret because of our utterances. Neither can we claim to be true disciples of Christ if we spend our time gossiping and backbiting against others.

Naturally, man cannot effectively control his tongue and make it a blessing to people. But if you fully surrender your heart to God in total repentance, He will forgive and cleanse your sins, touch your heart as well as transform your tongue.

Thought For The Day: The tongue is tamed when the heart is transformed.
