Topic: His Latter Rain [DCLM Daily Manna Friday February 9th, 2018]

Text: Joel 2:28-32 (KJV)

Key Verse: “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28).

MESSAGE:

“Without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing. We are as ships without the wind, branches without sap, and like coals without fire, we are useless” – Charles Spurgeon.

The passage before us talks about the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon all flesh. Prophet Joel had spoken about a need for national repentance in Israel. Israel had been in Babylonian captivity for seventy years and this brought great reproach upon them. Joel recommended that the prayers for the restoration of Israel and the removal of her reproach be accompanied by fasting and weeping. He believed that the outcome would involve an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the restored Israel at a future date. This passage, which is now referred to as the promise of the Father, was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Ghost, like cloven tongues of fire, fell on the one hundred and twenty believers in the Upper Room, who waited on God in prayers, after the resurrection and ascension of Christ.

There is very little the Church can do today without the outpouring of the Spirit. The world in which we live has become so corrupt that sermons without the backing of the Holy Ghost power can produce little or no effect. The anointing and gifts that come through the Holy Spirit are irresistible.

The vessels to be used in the revival promised by Joel will involve both old and young men, with the servants and handmaidens, all saved children of God. The Holy Ghost came upon ‘all flesh’ who were in one accord, saved and sanctified in the Upper Room, and not on everyone in the world. Further preparation for the Spirit’s baptism will include consecration and submission to the will of God.

Topic: On Motion [Teens’ Open Heavens Friday 9th, February 2018]

Memorise: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. – Isaiah 40:31

Read: Isaiah 40:28-31

28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

MESSAGE:

There are seven categories of motion. The first is the total stagnation which indicates a state of no motion. In Mark 2:1-12, we read of a paralyzed man who could not do anything for himself except someone else helped him. He was in a state of total stagnation. This is the worst state of motion. Some people are in that state of motion and no matter how much effort they make, the situation remains the same. In other words, it appears there is nothing they can do to change their situation. If you are in this state, the Lord will reach out to you in Jesus’ name.

Crawling is the next category of motion after stagnancy. At this stage, there is motion, but it is very limited and slow. Are you experiencing slow progress? If you study so hard, but your grades remain low, then you are crawling. If what takes others one year to achieve takes you two years, then you are crawling. I speak forth divine speed into your motion. You shall make quick progress henceforth in Jesus’ name.

Prayer Point: Every evil tie to my negative past hindering my progress, be broken in Jesus’ name

Topic: Your Victory Is Already Guaranteed [TREM’s Daily Friday February 9, 2018]

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 (KJV)

Child of God, you have already overcome even before the battle began. Jesus speaking in the above scripture made it clear that He had already overcome the world and its systems so that you can truly have victory in your finances, marriage, academics, business, family and in every area of your life. In other words, no matter what the enemy brings out of his closet, your victory is already guaranteed. Let me assure you that God will not allow you to be swallowed by the enemy. You need to walk with this revelation and see Him make a way for you.

Yes, it may be hard for others in the world, but I declare that there shall be divine happenings for you because Jesus has already conquered the world. It is not about what you can do, but it is all about what He has done. I declare that from today to the last day of this year, you will see the goodness of God in your life. Let the tempest rage, let the billows toss high, don’t expect the worst to happen to you. Instead, expect the best. Believe that every day will bring good things to you. If God’s word has said that you are an overcomer, then that settles it.

I challenge you today, to remain connected to the errorless, and impregnable word of God which is the only thing that is constant. Every other thing would fail, but not the word.  Receive the word from His mouth. Struggles come to an end when you receive the proceeding word. You know what others don’t know and that makes you stand out. Whatever cannot touch Christ cannot touch you. Hitherto, men laughed at you but watch out because those who laughed at you are coming back to laugh with you.
