Topic: Your Children Released From Captivity [Wednesday December 6, 2017]

Thus saith the Lord; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the Lord; and they [your children] shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come again to their own border. – Jeremiah 31:16-17

Jesus has redeemed us from the curse. Many of us have been well taught about that redemption where sin, sickness and poverty in our own lives are concerned. But we often fail to realize that redemption has power over the destruction the devil tries to bring on our children’s lives as well.

Deuteronomy 28 states the curse of the law in verses 16-68. Notice what that curse says about children. “Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand” (verse 32).

“Thou shall beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity” (verse 41).

Many Christian parents are still suffering needlessly under that curse. Their children are being taken captive by drugs, alcohol and perversions. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Since Jesus broke the curse of the law, these parents have the authority in the Name of Jesus to order Satan out of their children’s lives.

Don’t let the devil run roughshod over your children! When you see the first warning signs of rebellion in them, confess the promises of God over them and refuse to give the devil any room to operate.

Remember, the children don’t understand the unseen forces that are coming against them. So it’s your responsibility to stand against those forces on their behalf. Exercise that responsibility. Then take every opportunity to minister love to them.

God knows how to deliver your children. Do your part and trust Him to do His. He will bring them back from the land of the enemy!

Due to an injury that occurred in 1992, I suffer from chronic pain in my upper back, shoulders, and neck. During the most excruciating and disheartening moments, it’s not always easy to trust or praise the Lord. But when my situation feels unbearable, God’s constant presence comforts me. He strengthens me and reassures me of His unchanging goodness, limitless power, and sustaining grace. And when I’m tempted to doubt my Lord, I’m encouraged by the determined faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They worshiped God and trusted He was with them, even when their situation seemed hopeless.

When King Nebuchadnezzar threatened to throw them into a blazing furnace if they didn’t turn away from the true God to worship his golden statue (Dan. 3:13–15), these three men displayed courageous and confident faith. They never doubted the Lord was worthy of their worship (v. 17), “even if” He didn’t rescue them from their current predicament (v. 18). And God didn’t leave them alone in their time of need; He joined and protected them in the furnace (vv. 24–25).

God doesn’t leave us alone either. He remains with us through trials that can feel as destructive as Nebuchadnezzar’s furnace. Even if our suffering doesn’t end on this side of eternity, God is and always will be mighty, trustworthy, and good. We can rely on His constant and loving presence.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being with us, no matter what we’re going through.

Faith relies on our Almighty God’s unchanging character, not on our circumstances.

Topic: The Four Vessels! Wait On God! [Wednesday, December 6, 2017]

Basic Scripture: Daniel 6:10-28

There was a master searching for a vessel to use! On the shelf, there were many vessels. “Take me and use me”, cried the golden vessel: “I am shiny and bright. I am of great value and I do things just right. My beauty and luster will outshine the rest and for someone like you master, gold will be best.”

The mater passed on without a word. Next came the silver vessel: “Master, I will serve you, I will pour out your wine. My lines are so graceful; my calves so true and my silver will always compliment you.” Again, the master looked at it and moved on to the vessel of brass: “Oh master, look at me. Here am I.i know I will do. Place on the table for all to see.”

The unsatisfied mater passed on and came to the vessel of wood: I said: “You may use me dear master, but I prefer you use me for fruit, not for bread.” They now finally angry master came to the vessel of clay, which said: “I am empty and broken. I am helpless not fit for your use.” “Ah the excited master exclaimed. This is the vessel I have been looking for. I will mend and will use it and make it mile to my taste.”He gently lifted the vessel of clay and mended it, filled it and spoke to it: “This work you must do-just pour out to others as I have poured into you.”

What a story and what a school! Oh, that you might be a vessel of clay to God. Like Daniel in today’s scripture, if He decides to mend you through circumstances of temporary delay, pain, disgrace or various vents of life, just wait on Him. Did Daniel commit any sin? No sir! No ma! Yet the POTTER allowed his temporary pain for his permanent gain to spring forth! What He allows you to pass through is His mending process of producing a VESSEL OF HONEY out of your life! Ah! Most vessels of honour   were rejected  vessels of pain and humility!

So as the CHIEF POTTER works on your life and ministry, remain the clay you are! Don’t complain or allow depression! JUST SURRENDER!  Your POTTER will never llow you to end up in SHAME! Ask Daniel! Topic: Immunity By The Blood Of Jesus Christ [Wednesday December 6, 2017]

Scripture: And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you… Exodus 12:13

Thought For The Day: Anyone not under the cover of the Blood of Jesus is prone to disaster and destruction.

It has been confirmed from the Scripture that there is no force as potent as the force of the Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus Christ does not only deliver from sin, sicknesses or diseases; the Blood of Jesus has the capacity to immunize a person against destruction.

Our anchor scripture reveals how the blood exempted the children of Israel from the plague that befell the whole land of Egypt.

In a generation such as ours that is characterized by anarchy, mayhem, chaos, wickedness, witchcraft activity and satanic molestation; the Blood of Jesus Christ is God’s strategy of exemption for His children. The Blood of Jesus guarantees our immunity from danger and disaster. Thus, anyone who is not under the cover of the Blood of Jesus is prone to disaster and destruction.

The mystery of the Blood of Jesus is that it has the capability to save the children of God and suffocate the devil and his agents at the same time.

In this last month of the year notorious for satanic activities, I prophesy your exemption from disaster by the Blood of Jesus. For you and your household, there shall be NO LOSS, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember This: Anyone who is not under the cover of the Blood of Jesus is prone to disaster and destruction.

Assignments:

1. Give your life to Jesus Christ if you have not yet done so.

2. Always take the communion with revelation.

Prayer: LORD, I activate the force of immunity in the Blood of Jesus on my life. I receive liberty from any form of disaster calculated for me in this season, in Jesus’ Name.

Topic: Peace For Peace — Wednesday December 6, 2017.

Text: Jeremiah 29:1-9

Key Verse: “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace” (Jeremiah 29:7).

Today’s passage gives account of a historical event in the life of Judah. The kingdom of Judah was taken into captivity by Babylon because they sinned against the Lord. Even in their captivity, the Lord God was mindful of His people. Through Prophet Jeremiah, He sent a message of hope, comfort and promise of better future to the captives.

God’s love for His children does not diminish even while reprimanding them. He is always waiting for them in their affliction to turn to Him in repentance. His reprimand is not for destruction but for correction. In this passage today, God gave the instruction to the captives to procreate so as not to diminish or go into extinction. It was God’s express will for the captives to become active in the nation where they lived, adding to the public welfare by praying and working for the peace of the nation. The peace of the nation was the key to their own peace.

This is also the express will of God for all people — free or bond, old or young, male or female in public or private service. God demands that all His children in whichever state or situation they find themselves, should work for the betterment of the society they live in to make the world a better place. To do anything other than this is hurtful not just to the society but also to the individual concerned; “for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace”. Therefore, stockpiling arms and ammunition to cause civil disturbance and make the society ungovernable or planning/participating in seditious activities are contrary to the will of God. And a true child of God must steer clear of all harmful, anti-social practices and norms.

Thought for the day: Better to be a solution provider than a conflict producer.
