Christian Post Report – As they eagerly await the birth of their first child, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard celebrated the one year anniversary of their engagement on Sunday, March 29, by taking to Instagram to post throwback pictures.

“One year ago, she said yes,” Derick wrote. “Happy engagement anniversary to my beautiful bride @jillmdillard I love you Jill Michelle! #newlyweds.”

Jill also took to the photo sharing app and wrote, “One year ago today, the sweetest man in the whole world asked me to marry him. I said, ‘yes, totally!’…now, 9 months into marriage we await the arrival of our little #babydilly.”

Baby Dilly, as the couple refers to their unborn child, was scheduled to arrive on March 25. On Friday, Derick took to Instagram to share another photo update of his wife holding up a chalkboard with the words “40 weeks and 2 days.” He also took to Twitter to announce that he can hardly wait for his son’s arrival as he tweeted, “40 weeks: time to make like a baby and ‘head out’ anytime now, son #BabyDilly.”

Jill has previously said that she doesn’t think that her baby will come anytime this month. The 23-year-old, who is a trained midwife, recently told People that she has named April 5 as her second due date because “first time moms often go a week and a half over” their expected due dates.

The “19 Kids and Counting” star was even able to fit in a little volunteer work over the weekend as she shared an Instagram shot of her volunteering at the Compassion Center in Springdale, AR. The center is a non-profit that “funds, resources, and supports hunger, foster care and adoption, life training and immigration transition” according to the center’s official Instagram account.

Grammy-award winning rapper Lecrae will open for the wildly successful comedian Kevin Hart at Essence Fest 2015 which takes place on July 2 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Superdome.

Lecrae celebrated the performance slot and spoke on it during a recent interview with Essence.

“I’m someone who appreciates the culture — someone who has grown up loving black music and appreciative of everything from Frankie Beverly and Maze to Kendrick Lamar, and then having those firm faith foundations. I’m somebody who cares about you, who wants you to enjoy yourself,” Lecrae said.

Hart, who stars in the new film “Get Hard” with Will Ferrell, will perform at this year’s Essence Festival where Lecrae will open for him at 7 p.m. The rapper also commented on some of the other performers who will be at this year’s event.

“You deal with people like Anthony Hamilton and you get that vibe. But it’s R&B/soul. Within hip-hop, you really haven’t had anybody you feel like, ‘Man, that’s my brother. He’s not just here to turn up all the way on me,” Lecrae added. “He wants to encourage me in my relationship, he wants to be a positive influence in my life and yet, we can have a good time.”

Along with Hart and Lecrae, other big names in the conscious hip-hop community will be on stage that day including Kendrick Lamar, who recently released his sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly.

Lecrae labeled Kendrick’s latest album as “high art” during an interview with Christian music website Breathecast.

“Kendrick’s album is high art. With high art and high story, you gotta take you time and really digest it,” Lecrae told BC. “It’s not something that you can just casually listen to and say, ‘Alright, this is what I think.'”

Christian Post Report – As one of the most popular handsets today, the Asus Zenfone 2 lineup of smartphones has been doing well in the announcement department.

A couple of months after they were announced, the devices have rolled out in the company’s home market in Taiwan, as well as in China. Soon, more Android fans in Asian markets would be able to get their hands on the high-end device.

However, even before the Asus Zenfone 2 phones make an impact in the Western market, a company executive said in a press event that their upcoming devices would be equipped with the latest fad in the tech industry – fingerprint scanners.

While fingerprint sensors have been with electronic devices in as early as the 1990s, it was popularized by Apple when it included the technology in its iPhone 5s handset.

Now, the Cupertino manufacturer includes fingerprint-scanning capabilities to all of its latest devices.

As for Asus, the Taiwan-based company may be following Apple’s footsteps in this department. Chief executive Jerry Shen of Asus told the media last week that the Zenfone 3 will have fingerprint scanners.

In the report by GSM Arena, Shen also hinted that the Zenfone 2 devices will get fresher versions later this year, some of which would boast fingerprint scanners as well.

Since Apple began using fingerprint scanners, it has enabled mobile devices to make secure payments online. Fingerprint-detection sensors also increase a phone’s security.

Christian Post Report – Even during Blackberry’s heyday, it was working with other brands in order to promote and expand its marketing further. One of those companies that the Canada-based manufacturer has been working with is Porsche.

Last year, the mobile phone maker announced its latest luxury device. Finally, that new device has hit the Canadian market. According to a report from GSM Arena, the Blackberry Porsche Design P’9983 can now be purchased from Blackberry’s home market for $1,950 CAD, or about $1,545.

Like other Porsche Design smartphones, the P’9983 is oozing with appeal. The phone’s entire back is reportedly made out of genuine leather, while the Blackberry device’s Porsche Design is made out of stainless steel.

For interested buyers in Canada, they should definitely checkout Blackberry’s online catalogue to check the phone’s specs.

Blackberry Porsche Design P’9983 boasts the interesting combination of touch and type features. The device gets a 3.1-inch display with 720 x 720 resolution, 2GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon S4 Plus chip.

Rounding up the specs sheet are the 8MP primary camera at the back, a 2MP front shooter, 2,100mAh battery, and a limited PIN that would unlock the device’s messaging options.

The Blackberry Porsche Design P’9983 may be too expensive for interested consumers, but it is still another marketing ploy to assure its fan base that it is still relevant in the business.

Christian Post Report – The HTC One M9 may be the current flagship for the Taiwan-based manufacturer, but it would not take long until people shift their attention to the One M9 Plus.

According to recent reports, the Android-powered handset will be announced at an HTC event in China on April 8. It also shows that the One M9 Plus will first become available in China, and soon other Asian markets.

Now, a report from GSM Arena revealed that the upcoming HTC smartphone was again spotted, this time on social media.

In the report, several leaked images of the device were allegedly posted by @upleaks. The image shows the phone’s striking similarities to the One M9.

However, there are a few notable differences while looking at the handset’s design. First, the 20.7MP camera sensor of the One M9 Plus is a circle while the one in the One M9 is more like a square.

Another difference is HTC’s choice to include a physical home button in the One M9 Plus. But because the original design had BoomSound speakers in both the top and bottom portions of the device, the manufacturer had to ‘cut’ the bottom speaker grill into two, in order to make way for the home button.

Other rumored specs of the device include a 5.2-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, and two versions based on its chipset – either a Snapdragon 810 or a MediaTek MT6795.

Aside from the One M9 Plus, another HTC device that is making the rounds in the rumor mill is the One E9.

Christian Post Report – With Season 5 about to start in April, the “Game of Thrones” series on HBO is gearing up for its next season.

Unfortunately for some fans of the series and its creator George R.R. Martin, even season 6 may be a disappointment as the author recently announced that he is not penning a single episode for the upcoming season. Sharing the news in his blog, Martin says that he is not involved in scriptwriting this time because he would like to spend the time finishing his next book of the series “The Winds of Winter.” Martin was also not involved in season 5.

Martin wrote the series of novels called “A Song of Ice and Fire” on which “The Game of Thrones” series is based. The most recent one was entitled “A Dance with Dragons” published four years ago. “The Winds of Winter” will be the sixth novel of the series.

“Writing a season six script would cost me a month’s work on WINDS, and maybe as much as six weeks, and I cannot afford that,” he told The Huffington Post, he has already cancelled originally planned appearances in the World Fantasy Convention and the San Diego Comic-Con so that he can write.

He also said that the scriptwriting duties for the show were pretty much covered with D.B. Weiss, David Benioff and Bryan Cogman in charge.

The report also mentions another reason why Martin is frantically trying to finish the sixth book. Most of the material used in seasons 1 to 4 of the series is said to be closely linked his novels. There was an earlier acknowledgement that season 5 will not follow the novels strictly which “Martin hoped would not happen.” The show’s producers D.B. Weiss and David Benioff also acknowledged that the show “will spoil the endings of the novels eventually.”

If he gets to finish the book, the report also says that this might give Martin some time to write for season 7, or what is supposed to be the final season of the series.

Christian Post Report – After clashing during the first five seasons of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are reuniting as the two will be hitting the road for a new reality show. The show titled “NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches” will see the two ladies leaving Atlanta and making their way across the country.

Years after they bickered on RHOA, the two first reconciled in 2013, after they both tweeted about having an emotional conversation where they declared a truce.

At the time, Leakes wrote on Facebook, “Couldn’t believe I had the best chat with Kim Zolciak yesterday. Then took a moment to reflect and it made me cry. This is too much.”

In a recent interview with E! News, Leakes and Zolciak said that they couldn’t wait to work together again.

“Well, one of the things I’m most excited about is working with Kim, just the two of us,” Leakes said. “I just left ‘Housewives’ where I was working with like, six monsters.”

Though the two had their ups and downs in the past, Leakes said that they’re now in a good place.

“Working on a show like [Real Housewives] tears friendships apart,” she revealed. “It’s hard.”

“It will be good not having anyone interfering with NeNe and I,” said Zolciak. “We’re back to where we started 12 years ago, no other noise. No other people talking nonsense. It will just be her and I and we have a really good time.”

Both ladies said that being on the new show is an opportunity for them to get away from the “Real Housewives” drama.

“People get tired of watching the drama,” said Zolciak. “We’re just going to have fun. It will be good for me to get away, all the kiddos, get a break.”

No premiere date has been announced for “NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches” yet.

Christian Post Report – Before there was Robsten or Jelena, there was Zanessa, the teenage dream pairing of Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The two met on the set of the Disney TV movie “High School Musical” back in 2005, which gave way to two sequels. The two embarked in a real-life romance for four years, which ended in December 2010.

Now, Hudgens is opening up about her struggles while dating the “Charlie St. Cloud” actor. In an interview with New York Times, the actress said that there were times when she was “mean” during their relationship, not because of Efron, but because of his female fans who tended to get overzealous at times.

“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up,” said Hudgens. “Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that’s not what that’s about. ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice.'”

Since then, the actress has moved on with fellow actor Austin Butler. Not only has she found love with him, but he has also been instrumental in her having a renewed passion for Christianity.

Hudgens said that while she was born a Catholic, she “never felt connected to it.” The couple attend services at Hillsong, and the actress said, “It feels like Arcade Fire—it’s epic like that. They really focus on you having your own personal relationship with Jesus, which is wonderful.”

Hudgens is currently starring in the Broadway version of “Gigi” and she will be appearing as Rizzo in the Fox live TV airing of “Grease” in 2016.

Christian Post Report – LG continues to be a force to be reckoned with as the company has successfully rolled out impressive flagship devices over the recent years. This time, fans are waiting for the LG G4, the company’s follow up to its best-selling G3. Many were disappointed when the phone failed to make an appearance at MWC 2015, but now we might have a date when the phone will finally be unveiled.

According to PCAdvisor, LG has sent out save the date invites to a launch event on April 28 which will take place in New York, London, and Paris. Launch events will also occur in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul the following day. It’s highly possible that the aforementioned date will coincide with the release of the LG G4.

Tech watchers have a general idea how the new device will look like as a leaked image of the LG G4 via @OnLeaks shows the phone with the same RearKey buttons below the camera, and the rear metal cover seems to be removable, just like the cover found on the G3. The curved shape also suggests that the G4 might have a curved screen similar to that on the G Flex 2.

More leaked images from Photobucket do not show a curved screen—instead, they show what could possibly be a stylus.

The G4 is expected to have a 3K display with a resolution of 1620 x 2880 pixels and an astounding pixel density count of 601ppi. The device is said to have LG’s own Nuclun octa-core processor and run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The G4 is also rumored to have an improved 16MP camera with a dual-LED flash and laser auto focus.

The LG G4 is expected to cost $750 off contract.

Christian Post Report – “Constantine” ended its season 1 run back in February, and until now, it is unclear whether the Matt Ryan-led show will be back for a second season. The show premiered to low ratings and didn’t earn a back nine order during its first season on the show, and that usually spells trouble for any series as it often means immediate cancellation.

However, the “Constantine” team is not giving up easily as it’s still keeping the comic book adaptation alive through social media, where fans continue to show their support for the series. Now, fans are seeing a glimmer of hope as the show’s executive producer Daniel Cerone recently revealed that we might be seeing the man in the trench coat back on TV again.

Back in February, when asked on Twitter whether the show could be considered as “technically cancelled,” Cerone replied, “NBC made some early pickups but #Constantine not canceled. We’ll pitch them our plans for 2nd season in May. Then they decide.”

However, the pitch to NBC could happen sooner as Cerone took to Twitter on Sunday, March 29 and wrote, “End of April date has been set to pitch 2nd season ideas to NBC. Then they decide on a season 2. #Constantine #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers.”

According to Cinemablend, a pitch doesn’t automatically mean that “Constantine” will be renewed by NBC for a second season, but it does mean that the network is keeping its options open regarding its Friday night lineup.

When asked how fans can help to bring back the show, Cerone answered.

“Stream the available episodes and tell your friends,” he wrote on Twitter. “Anyone putting money in studio coffers by purchasing #Constantine in any form will motivate studio to find a home for show.”

“Rest assured, we’re working very hard internally to #SaveConstantine,” tweeted Cerone back at the end of February. “And trust me, THEY’RE HEARING YOU.”
