Christian Post Report – On Monday’s episode of “Teen Mom OG,” Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout take their kids for their first day of school, and Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra find out the gender of their baby.

Catelynn and Tyler can’t wait to find out if they’re having a little girl or a boy. Tyler, who has always wanted a son, prays for them to get a boy, while Catelynn hoped for another girl. They decide to have a gender revealing party, and at Catelynn’s ultrasound, they ask the technician to put the results in a sealed envelope. At the party, the pair opts to use a piñata filled with confetti. Their family and friends gather around as they rip open the piñata, and pink confetti rains on them—they’re going to have a girl!

Amber goes back to school shopping for Leah with Gary. At one point during the shopping trip, Gary starts flirting with her and tickling her.

Back home, Amber tells her cousin that although she’s confused about how Gary is acting, she says that she needed that and it made her smile. However, Gary’s brother, Robert, is not pleased about him leading on Amber.

Gary tells him that he still cares about Amber and what if he gave them a chance to be together again? Robert advises him to “pull out old episodes” of the show just to remind him that he and Amber weren’t good for each other.

Gary invites Amber over to help Leah get ready for school. On the way to school, Leah tells her mother that he needs to meet Kristina, Gary’s girlfriend. This upsets Amber and while she does drive to school, she stays in the car and doesn’t walk Leah to class. She lashes out at the camera man and drives off.

Meanwhile, Maci is upset because her ex, Ryan, continues to be absent in their son, Bentley’s life. Bentley is starting kindergarten and Maci is worried that Ryan won’t be there. Ryan tells his father Larry that he can’t make it to Bentley’s first day of school because he’s got work. He asks his mother to break the news to Maci. Larry is not pleased with Ryan’s behavior as he tells the camera, “I’m over it. Did you get this on camera?”

So Maci brings Bentley to his first day of school alone. She sobs when she goes back to her car and heads to therapy to talk about Ryan. She says that though she doesn’t want to change how Bentley thinks of his father, she doesn’t want to lie to her son anymore.

“Teen Mom OG” airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Christian Post Report – Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, has been selected as honorary chairman of the 2015 National Day of Prayer taking place May 7, 2015, in Washington, D.C.

The theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer is “Lord, Hear Our Cry,” taken from King Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the temple he had built in 1 Kings 8:28.

The prayer Graham wrote, to be read simultaneously around the nation at 12 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 7 is below:

Heavenly Father,

We come to You in the Name that is above every name — Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Our hearts cry out to You. Knowing that You are a prayer-answering, faithful God — the One we trust in times like these — we ask that You renew our spirits, revive our churches, and heal our land.

We repent of our sins and ask for Your grace and power to save us. Hear our cry, oh God, and pour out Your Spirit upon us that we may walk in obedience to Your Word. We are desperate for Your tender mercies. We are broken and humbled before You.

Forgive us, and in the power of Your great love, lift us up to live in Your righteousness.

We pray for our beloved nation. May we repent and return to You and be a light to the nations. And we pray for our leaders and ask that You give them wisdom and faith to follow You. Preserve and protect us, for You are our refuge and only hope. Deliver us from all fears except to fear You, and may we courageously stand in the Truth that sets us free.

We pray with expectant faith and grateful hearts.

In Jesus’ name, our Savior. Amen.

Graham was selected back in October as honorary chair of the 2015 National Day of Prayer by the annual event’s longtime task force leader Shirley Dobson. They yearly day of prayer was first introduced in 1952.

Dobson said in a statement shared Wednesday with The Christian Post, “I’m so pleased to have pastor Jack Graham serving with me as our 2015 honorary chairman. And together, we are calling our great nation to repentance and prayer.”

“We would like to invite all Christians to cry out together with us on May 7, asking God to bring us spiritual awakening in America,” she added.

Graham, whose multi-campus church is home to more than 40,000 people, stated back in October that he was ‘grateful and humbled to lead the country in prayer ‘for such a time as this.'”

“More than anything, in this desperate hour, may our hearts cry out to God for the healing of our nation’s spiritual brokenness,” Graham added. “May Jesus be exalted and may God’s people be awakened to a new obedience to fulfill the Great Commission.”

Christian Post Report – Things will take an interesting turn this week on the hit crime fighting TV drama series “Arrow” Season 3 as spoiler reports indicate that tonight’s segment will involve that attack on Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh).

According to Comic Book, an attack will take place at a government building. The emergency will call on Ray/Atom to go into action. It is said that an assailant will critically injure Ray, an incident that will put the brilliant scientist and the owner of Palmer Technologies in a dire condition.

The publication went on to say that as Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) visits Ray, she will stumble upon a surprise visitor in the person of her mother, Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross), who will also show up to offer her support.

As Starling City’s police department went out to hunt the assailant, the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his team will also get in the trail to get the man who is responsible on the attack at the Mayor’s office.

However, things will complicate when Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) came into the scene to kidnap Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne).

Meanwhile, casting reports indicated that as the DC TV series is coming edging closer to its season finale, it is said that that someone is saying goodbye to the show.

A report from Enstarz.com indicated that this “supposed exits” would probably take place in the series’ episode 19 titled “Broken Arrow.”

Citing Amell’s social media update, one particular scene in the said segment would be a very emotional one.

“Sometimes real feelings creep into a scene. Goodbyes are tough. Even when they’re scripted,” the actor who plays Oliver Queen said.

But before that big shock comes in, “Arrow” Season 3 airs this Wednesday, April 1 with episode titled “Public Enemy” on The CW.

Christian Post Report – With all the troubles the Winchester brothers are facing on the 10th season of the hit supernatural TV drama series “Supernatural,” casting reports said that help is finally coming for them in the person of someone whom they truly trust.

A report from Christian Today indicated that Bobby’s return (Jim Beaver) would be crucial to Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) welfare, given that the Mark of Cain is still strong inside him.

As avid followers of the show remembers, Bobby was killed off in Season 7’s “Death’s Door” and has ever since appeared in the succeeding segments as an ethereal being. He has been a good friend and mentor for the brothers from the beginning.

Speaking of Dean’s well-being, a synopsis for tonight’s segment was posted on The Futon Critic and it indicates that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) could now be closer to the cure for the Mark of Cain as they follow a lead.

Meanwhile, a casting report from Enstarz.com indicated that the show’s finale season is being touted as “far more upsetting” when compared to Dean’s transformation in Season 9.

Speaking to Seattle’s Salute to Supernatural on Sunday, Padalecki reveals some details about the season ending.

“We are filming the final arc of season 10 right now and it’s one of those really intense final arcs, I mean it’s probably the most intense I can remember since like season five or something like that,” the actor said. “These final episodes are very traumatic.”

For the meantime, “Supernatural” airs this Wednesday, April 1 with an episode titled “Inside Man” on The CW.

Christian Post Report – This week’s episode titled “I Can’t Keep Away From You” of the hit musical comedy TV series “Nashville” Season 3 is promised to offer more doses of drama and excitement.

A synopsis posted on The Futon Critic indicated that as Rayna (Connie Britton) helps Deacon (Charles Esten) veer away from the thoughts of his dire condition, her support will only frustrate the latter.

Last episode reveals that Deacon has liver cancer and has ever since been down and depressed.

The summary continues to point out that Gunnar (Sam Palladio), Avery (Jonathan Jackson), and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) are opening for the Rascal Flatts on tour. However, “when her past public meltdown haunts” her on social media, Scarlett is once again confronted by the fear of performing on stage.

Meanwhile, Jeff (Oliver Hudson) and Layla (Aubrey Peeples) are still trying to determine the state of their relationship. On the other hand, Layla’s ex-husband Will (Chris Carmack) enjoys the company of a writing partner. However, this won’t end well for him as Kevin (Kyle Dean Massey) mysteriously disappears.

On cast news, People posted a few promo photos for an upcoming episode of the series. It featured the iconic pop star, Christina Aguilera, all suited up for her slated guest appearance on the ABC drama.

The shots showed the chanteuse’s character, named Jade, with Jeff. The other one saw the “Genie in a Bottle” performing on stage with her pink hairdo.

According to casting reports, Jade will be Jeff’s ex-fiancee. As said by the network: “Jeff is forced to revisit his past and work with the woman who once played a larger role in both his personal and professional lives.”

“Nashville” Season 3 airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. on ABC.

Christian Post Report – A new promo still for the upcoming third season of the hit sci-fi, police procedural TV drama “Beauty and the Beast” and it featured the show’s lead characters Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cath (Kristin Kreuk) looking aghast over something.

Director Stuart Gillard’s social media post earlier this week said that “something is up” for Vin and Cat. The photo saw the two characters looking a bit surprised.

Enstarz reported that Catherine’s credibility as a detective will be put in a spotlight as it has been said that an investigation will be conducted about her. She and her crew will be “at odds with the law” as Internal Affairs starts to meddle in their business.

Avid followers of the series should expect such events to eventually “change the entire dynamic of the show towards the end of the chapter,” according to Spoiler Report.

E! Online previously pointed out that one primary character might be put in a dire situation when the new season returns to the small screen. The publication even went on to state that this person will be admitted in the hospital.

The report, however, clarified that it definitely won’t be Tess (Nina Lissandro) but will be among Catherine, Vincent, and J.T. (Austin Basis).

Meanwhile, while the show is yet to kick off its Season 3 premiere, production for its upcoming Chapter 4 is already underway and will commence “at the end of May” which would be the same time Season 3 airs.

“Beauty and The Beast” Season 3 will open this Thursday, May 21 with episode titled “Beast of Wallstreet” on The CW.

Christian Post Report – Nintendo will not be able to keep its promise to release “The Legend of Zelda” on its Wii consoles before the end of 2015. This much was revealed by the game’s producer Eiji Aonuma through a video announcement last week.

Aonuma explained in his video statement that the development team in the process of developing the game has recently “experienced firsthand the freedom of exploration that hasn’t existed in any Zelda game to date” and thus have “discovered several new possibilities for this game.”

These “new possibilities” he was referring to also led to new ideas that the development team would like to continue exploring. Because of this seemingly continuous process of discovery, they have shifted their focus from releasing a game within the time schedule to bringing “all these ideas to life in a way that will make “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii “the best game it can possibly be.”

His last statement was an apology to those expecting the game before the end of 2015. He promised to use the added time to make “The Legend of Zelda” for Wii U into a game that will reward you for your patience, so thank you for your continued support.”

“The Legend of Zelda” is the working title of the upcoming action-adventure video game being created for the Wii console. It is the 18th game of the Zelda series, and the second one in HD or high definition. The game was originally demoed in the 2014 E3, with additional announcements from Nintendo that it will be released towards the end of 2015.

The game will feature an open world which will allow players to explore different areas fully and to approach them in different ways. It apparently wants to continue “the change of Zelda’s gameplay from a linear set path and storyline to non-linear, open world and objective-based” which it started in 2013’s “The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.”

Christian Post Report – A lot has been going around for the family of the deceased actor-and-comedian Robin Williams, who, in August last year, took his own life at his home in Marin County, California.

The issue, as said by reports, pointed out to the Mrs. Doubtfire star’s widow Susan Schneider Williams filing a court petition in December stating that her late husband’s trust was “ambiguous.”

The 50-year-old is currently in a legal dispute with the actor’s children Zachary, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 23, over Williams’ estate.

A report from TMZ said that a judge took over the case and advised both parties within the family to arrive on a resolution “by April 10” or else the issue will be brought into court.

Among the most affected is Williams’ daughter to Marsha Garces, who recently took to her Tumblr page to dish out the claims that she and her siblings took items from their late father’s home without Schneider’s knowledge.

In answer to the charges, Zelda and the others filed a countersuit saying that Susan “attempted” to steal items like watches, photos, and awards which the star allegedly wanted them to have in the first place.

“My brothers and I have not at any point since dad’s death been invited to or visited his and Susan’s house in Tiburon, nor have we removed anything from it. For reporters to twist Susan’s court petition to imply that she believes my siblings and I did otherwise is to attempt to create drama where there is none and spread outright falsehoods, sadly a more and more common occurrence on the ‘news’ these days,” Zelda said.

“At least in this instance, it is gossip I can disprove with actual fact,” she added.

Christian Post Report – Paramount Pictures has big plans for the “Transformers” franchise. Beyond plans for more film sequels, Paramount wants to create a “Transformers” cinematic universe, much like the one created by Marvel. The company is negotiating to get the help of Akiva Goldsman, writer of “A Beautiful Mind,” to put their plan into action.

As reported in Deadline, Goldsman is not going to write any of the “Transformers” film, but will look for and oversee an assemblage of writers who will come together, brainstorm and write the upcoming films in the universe. This concept, the report says, is borrowed from James Cameron’s tactics with the three “Avatar” sequels and that of Disney’s strategy to put together more sequels and spinoffs for “Star Wars.”

Goldsman is supposed to facilitate meetings with producers Steven Spielberg, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and director Michael Bay, as well as writers who will form part of a “writer’s room.” This group will reportedly “incubate ideas for a potential multi-part ‘Transformers’ sequel, and come up with potential spinoff films based on the billion-dollar franchise culled from the Hasbro toy line.”

The last film of the franchise, the 2014 “Transformers: Age of Extinction” was not considered a box office hit, but according to another report in Deadline, the film is 2014’s “most valuable blockbuster” grossing $1.1 billion worldwide, including $324 million gross earnings in China alone. This almost matched the gross earnings of the 2011 “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.” For Paramount, this meant that the franchise is still going strong. All four Transformers films earned Paramount a whopping $4 billion.

The Deadline report also mentions that this development and writing process must happen quickly, as director Michael Bay will be soon occupied with directing the Benghazi film “13 Hours.” It would be ideal for him to start working on the next “Transformers” film after he finishes “13 Hours.”

Christian Post Report – Things are definitely getting more exciting as the first season of AMC’s hugely-popular TV show series “Better Call Saul” continues with this week’s penultimate episode titled “Pimento.” And just like its parent show “Breaking Bad,” Bob Odenkirk’s prequel story of the criminal attorney, Saul Goodman, just keeps getting better as it nears its season’s culmination.

Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan shared some insights on what to expect during the series finale.

“I will say what happens in the rest of the show surprised us. These characters went in directions we weren’t expecting. The cast added such layers to these folks. This is the glory of television. We watched what the actors were doing as we shot the first few, and realized that some of our ideas of who these people were could be developed more,” Gould told HitFix.

Gould added further that fans should expect “some twists and turns” as BCS nears its conclusion.

“That’s the best thing I could say. But I would say the last two episodes especially surprised us completely,” he went on to say.

During the panel screening of “Pimento,” Vince Gilligan meanwhile shared some information on where the story will pick up should it get served with another season. The creator admits he and Gould still don’t have any idea where to start.

“Do we spend some time during the period, the epoch, of Breaking Bad? Do we show what happened in between the scenes of Walt and Jesse? Is there more to tell in the Omaha years? These are all questions we do not have answers to yet,” he told The Guardian.

However, no matter which storyline “Better Call Saul” will tread on to, Gilligan assures its followers that it would certainly be a worthwhile ride.

“The fans who pay strict attention, we want to honor them for that. We want reward them for that,” Gilligan said. “We will make mistakes. There’s no doubt about that, but we intend not to. We intend to keep them to as small a number of mistakes as possible.”

“Better Call Saul” airs this Monday, March 30 on AMC.
