Kanye West considering legally changing name to ‘Christian Genius Billionaire’

Speaking at an event in New York he claimed he would want people to refer to him as ‘Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West’.

Addressing delegates at the Fast Company Innovation festival on Thursday, he said too many people want to downplay his financial success: “Martin Luther King didn’t get killed because he had a dream; he had something else he was going to talk about.”

“He talked about black empowerment, economic empowerment. When I did Forbes, I showed them a $890 million (£768m) receipt and they still didn’t say ‘billionaire’.

“They don’t want us to know that we can buy land; they don’t want us to have the 100 per cent ownership I have at Yeezy (his shoe company).”

West, who last month released his first gospel album Jesus is King, also spoke about wanting to run for President in 2024.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

- We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment. God, the Father, sent His only Son to satisfy that judgment for those who believe in Him. Jesus, the creator and eternal Son of God, who lived a sinless life, loves us so much that He died for our sins, taking the punishment that we deserve, was buried, and rose from the dead according to the Bible. If you truly believe and trust this in your heart, receiving Jesus alone as your Savior, declaring, "Jesus is Lord," you will be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven.

What is your response?

If you are not a Christian, and would like to become a Christian. Simply say - "LORD Jesus, thank you for forgiving me of my SINs, today I am deciding to follow you. Accept me into your family, in Jesus name I pray. Amen "
