1) That it is the Most High that rules in the affairs of men not science. Daniel 4:25.
2) That it is God that gives wisdom to the wise. Daniel 2:20-21.
3) That God can reduce the so called wisdom of man to foolishness. 1 Corinthians 1:19-20. 4)
4) That for every vaccine discovered, there is already a variant in the making. This will continue until the high and mighty admit that safety is of the Lord. Proverbs 21:31.
5) God says He will begin to deal with nations on individual basis so that in any nation, if God’s people will humble themselves and pray, He will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Power Couple Releasing New Music “We Are One”

Press Release (New Single) :  The newest couple on the gospel scene, David and Tiffany Spencer, releases their new single “We Are One.” The single will be available on January 15, 2021, on all digital outlets. The release date is also Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Birthday. The song is a reminder that King’s dream can be a reality. If we remember that we are one, we can get to the Promised Land together.

“We Are One” is a battle cry that we should continue to labor together until we realize King’s dream. “I enjoyed recording this song, and I hope listeners will embrace the message,” Tiffany said. “Our goal is to help people move past divisiveness by singing along with us- We Are One.”

2020 Elections brought out the best and worse in people. Voters on both sides of the aisle were very passionate and rightfully so. “We have to be careful not to let passion turn into hate towards our brothers and sisters who may not agree with our political stance,” David said. “Our differences do not have to divide us.”

The new single “We Are One” is riding the momentum of the couple’s recent successes.

“Gonna Make It,” the couple’s break out single, has been featured on radio stations around the country, charting as high as #22 on the Gospel Internet Radio BDS chart for airplay. The duet’s album “One Touch” was named the 2020 Kingdom Image Award Best Album of the year and won a 2020 Rhythm of Gospel Award for Best Packaging.

“It was such a huge honor and privilege to get the call four years ago to produce a few tracks for David and Tiffany’s acclaimed project, One Touch. Having worked with many versatile artists, I found working with them allowed me to take music production further without boundaries,” said Chris Adams, CEO of VonJoie Music. “Their chemistry, bond, and anointing made the records shine.”

David and Tiffany’s vocals are featured on records with Kim Cash Tate, Bryon Walker, Sheri Jones Moffett, Will Harris Fellowship Chorale, JaShawna Bellamy, and many more projects. James Patrick Stuart, Emmy Award Nominee, featured the couple’s “soultry vocals” on his record “Can You Feel Me,” which he performed on ABC’s General Hospital.

David and Tiffany Spencer, high school sweethearts, met during choir rehearsal at Lumberton Senior High. They are now happily married with three children, Daveah, David Jr., and Amiyah. Tiffany is a music educator at Spring Hill Middle School in Scotland County. David serves as the Minister of Music at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, in Bennettsville, SC.

Many visit Hymn Database online as Christians Worship at Home in 2020

According to (RNS) — In 2020, we celebrated holidays at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic. We worked at home, attended school at home, even attended worship services at home.

Many Christians also turned to hymns for comfort at home, according to Hymnary.org.

Users of the online database doubled as the novel coronavirus closed many church buildings this spring, and the website now is nearing 40 million page views for 2020, its highest ever.

“I do think that this time we’re in when everything is turned upside down makes everybody search for meaning, opens them up to the presence of God, looking for ways to express their spirituality, so there are more people searching for such things,” said Harry Plantinga, a professor of computer science at Calvin University and founder of Hymnary.org.

“There are also just the people who aren’t going to church to worship. They’re worshipping at home and they need the resources.”

Hymnary.org is an online hymn and worship music database for worship leaders, hymnologists and music lovers, featuring more than 1 million hymns.

Plantinga founded the website in 2007, which now is funded through the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Seven Christians Killed in Christmas Eve Attacks in Nigeria

Morning Star News reports – Islamic extremist militants killed seven Christians in Christmas Eve attacks in northeast Nigeria’s Borno state, according to area residents, while two people were reportedly killed in neighboring Adamawa state.

Residents of the villages of Pemi and Debro, near Chibok, Borno state said the insurgents were members of Islamic extremist group Boko Haram, and that the militants burned a Church of the Brethren (EYN) building in Pemi. In addition, seven people were reportedly kidnapped, including a pastor.

Across the border in neighboring Adamawa state, residents of Garkida told Morning Star News that Boko Haram attacked at the same time on Dec. 24, but that Nigerian army forces repelled them. Adamawa Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, however, released a statement on Christmas Day saying two civilians had been killed in the attack, including a 5-year-old boy, before soldiers drove the rebels away.

In Borno state, the jihadists began their attacks on predominantly Christian Pemi and Debro at about 6 p.m., area residents said.

“Seven Christians were killed at Pemi, and the church building of EYN was completely burned by them,” area resident Awiya Lawan told Morning Star News by text message. “Houses, cars and stores were burned down. The Boko Haram gunmen carried out the attacks for three hours before soldiers arrived the area at 9 p.m.”

Peter Solomon, another resident of the area, also said that heavily armed Boko Haram rebels, who seek to establish sharia (Islamic law) throughout Nigeria, killed seven Christians.

“The Boko Haram attackers destroyed the church building of EYN and looted foods from many houses before burning about 10 houses in Pemi, which is located about 20 kilometers [12 miles] away from Chibok town,” Solomon said

In Adamawa state, the attack by suspected Boko Haram militants forced Christians to halt Christmas preparations and flee into bushes to escape, area residents said.

“Garkida town in Adamawa state is under a massive attack,” area resident Joel Bahago said in a text message to Morning Star News. “Please pray for us, as this isn’t how we planned for Christmas, Lord.”

Another area resident, Rhoda Yadiwutuwa, said in a text message on Christmas Day that Nigeria’s armed forces had repelled the assailants but that most of the residents were still hiding in bushes and nearby hills.

“It is well with us people of Garkida, we shall hold our peace, because victory belongs to our God and Lord, Jesus Christ,” Yadiwutuwa said. Read more …
