Robert Pattinson, FKA Twigs News, Update: ‘Twilight’ Star Wants to Tie the Knot in a Pub?

Christian Post Report – FKA Twigs, whose real name Tahliah Barnett, and Robert Pattinson are rumored to be already engaged and are planning to tie the knot later this summer “in a pub,” according to one report.

T-Pain’s revelation to Vulture is the origin of the rumors. Although the 28-year-old “Twilight” star has reportedly been seen shopping for engagement rings in the past months, this interview with the American musician seems to cement the speculation that the two are now taking their relationship to the next level.

“Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio,” the music artist told Film News. “Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing. Yeah, to ol’ Patty. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that.”

Moreover, a report from People cited one source telling them that couple are opting for their wedding to be completely simple and not like those of a typical, glamorous Hollywood-type ceremonies.

“[FKA twigs] wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding,” the insider said.

This purported information would come opposite to what Robert’s parents reportedly want. A report from Hollywood Life said that Rob’s folks would want to see their son saying his vows in a church.

But nevertheless, Mr. and Mrs. Pattinson were happy that the wedding wasn’t between their son and his co-star and former lover, Kristen Stewart.

“Robert’s family is very supportive of his engagement to Twigs,” a source said. “They think she’s great for him, and are happy that it wasn’t Kristen in the end because they didn’t have the same feeling for her they have for Twigs.”

Christian Post Report – Boston Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz follows through as he flies out in the eighth inning against the Toronto Blue Jays during their MLB American League East baseball game in Boston, Massachusetts, September 22, 2013.

There is big history between these two rivals, and adding opening day tension to the mix should result in a clash that no fan wants to miss.

Both teams will be happy to start the new season with blank records, having had torrid 2014 seasons; both franchises suffered last place finishes last year, but both will have renewed hope and expectations as the new season gets started. However, a winning start could be important for the coming weeks, and building confidence early on can make or break a season.

The Red Sox have shaken things up a lot building up to this season opener. They have reinforced their offense; paying out $95 million to sign Pablo Sandoval, and splashing another $88 million for Hanley Ramirez.

Spending that amount of money will undoubtedly raise expectations and hopes, however, Red Sox fans will remember the $72.5 million spent last year on Rusney Castillo, and they will notice that he is starting this season in the Minors.

But make no mistake, this is a completely revamped Red Sox line up, and they have only one starter – Buchholz – from the 2014 season opening day.

John Farrell has said, “I think there’s a lot of excitement, and rightfully so, about the additions [general manager Ben Cherington] has made to our team. This is a talented group.”

Today’s big opening day game between the Boston Red Sox and the Philadelphia Phillies will start at 3.05 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.

Beyonce Knowles-Carter is pictured with husband Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter.

Christian Post Report – Beyonce recently sang a piano ballad, “Die With You” uploaded on Tidal to celebrate her and husband, Jay-Z’s wedding anniversary over the weekend.

American singer-songwriter Beyonce sang her own composition, a piano ballad, “Die With You,” dedicated to her husband, rapper, Jay-Z to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary. The ballad was filmed by Jay-Z and released on their artist-owned music streaming service, Tidal.

Known for dropping music and songs unannounced, Beyonce performs behind a grand piano in the three-and-a-half minute clip. The intimate home video sees Beyonce reaffirming her love and commitment to her husband and the father of her three-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy:

“I wake up just to sleep with you/ I open my eyes so I can see it’s you/ And I live so I can die with you,” she sings.

Wearing her hair in loose braided pigtails hidden underneath a reversed black cap, and a black t-shirt, Beyonce sings with no other accompaniment except her piano playing.

Staring at the camera coquettishly, she lets out a yell at the end of her song and the camera pans around to reveal Jay-Z smiling behind it.

The video has already been uploaded to YouTube where it has garnered over 250,000 views to date.

Beyonce and Jay-Z co-own Tidal together with Alicia Keys, Arcade Fire, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Jack White, Madonna, Rihanna, and Usher. The couple may have released the new song as part of the promotion of their music streaming service which battles for market share among giants like Spotify and iTunes.

Tidal currently has 17,000 subscribers and will be jostling for subscribers with Beats music, Google Play Music, and other music and content streaming services online.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are parlaying the success of their power couple partnership with Tidal, after having grossed more than $100 million during their “On The Run” Tour between 2013 to 2014, with tickets selling out within minutes in multiple locations.

Khloe Kardashian Still Loves Lamar Odom, Will They Reconcile?

NBA Basketball player Lamar Odom and ‘Keeping Up with The Kardashians’ Khloe Kardashian

Christian Post Report – Khloe Kardashian has admitted she still has feelings for ex-husband, Lamar Odom, sparking rumors she is angling for a reconciliation with her estranged spouse.

Khloe admitted she still has feelings for her former husband, professional basketball player, Lamar Odom, and said she would always be in love with him. This confession gave rise to speculations Kardashian may be looking to reconcile with Odom after divorcing him in December 2013.

“I will never ever not love Lamar,” the 30-year-old reality star told E! News. “I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”

She added she wished circumstances were different between them as a couple, and if she had her way, she’d still be married to him.

Kardashian tied the knot with Odom, 35, in September 2009, a month after they met at a party for one of Odom’s Los Angeles Lakers teammates. In 2013, after speculations of drug and alcohol abuse and a rumored separation, Kardashian filed for divorce at the end of the year.

Kardashian is currently in an on-again, off-again dating situation with American-Moroccan rapper, French Montana, whom she admits is “awesome,” but not the person she wants to settle down with.

Kardashian further said she doesn’t want to be linked to anyone seriously at the moment, and is currently figuring out her emotions. While she would prefer to be married to Odom, she says there are some things her ex-husband needs to do before a reconciliation occurs, and that there was “nothing” she could do to save their marriage in the end.

Fans of Kardashian have been rooting for a reconciliation since hearing of the divorce, but Khloe admitted, in a recent episode of their family’s reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” Odom had been avoiding her calls and they hadn’t communicated with each other in a month.

New York Yankees vs Toronto Blue Jays Live Stream Free: Watch MLB 2015 Opening Day Baseball Online (Start Time, Preview)

The New York Yankees will host the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday as the MLB 2015 season opening day gets started. All the preparations and build up to the start of the season will fade away once the first ball is pitched at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx at 1.05 p.m. ET, and finally the new season will be underway. Today’s game can be watched on TV on the ESPN and YES networks, but can also be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Christian Post Report – Yankee Stadium is home to the New York Yankees and is located in the Bronx borough of New York.

These division rivals will be licking their lips at the prospect of the American League East this season. There is no clear favorite at this stage, and both of these franchises will be wanting to get the season off to a winning start to emerge as early frontrunners in the coming weeks.

Today’s game will see two right-handers feature on opening day at Yankee Stadium; Masahiro Tanaka will start for the Yankees, and Drew Hutchison will take to the mound for the Blue Jays. Neither pitcher has started on Opening Day before in the MLB, so it will be a unique experience for both.

Tanaka will remember his big league debut against the Blue Jays last year in April. Things did not all go as planned though, as Melky Cabrera smashed a home run off him on just his third pitch to welcome him to the league. The Yankees did go on to win that game, but Tanaka probably will be happy that Cabrera is not part of the proceedings this year. He has now moved on to the White Rox.

“He’s gone, so I wouldn’t have that sort of negative image from last year. Yes, obviously I’d like to have a different outcome for the first batter this season,” Tanaka said.

He added, “I think the biggest difference is that I’ll be pitching at home this season. I’m really happy about that. Last year obviously was over in Toronto and being away from home. Definitely being able to pitch at home this season, I’m really happy about that.”

The New York Yankees will take on the Toronto Blue Jays from 1.05 p.m. ET today, and the game can be watched on TV on the ESPN and YES networks, or online through free live stream by clicking here.

Detroit Tigers vs Minnesota Twins Live Stream Free: Watch MLB 2015 Opening Day Baseball Online (Start Time, Preview)

The Detroit Tigers will play the Minnesota Twins on Monday for MLB 2015 Opening Day. Today’s game takes place from Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan and has a start time of 1.08 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the FSN network or online through free live stream (details below).

Justin Verlander reuters.com

Christian Post Report – for the first time in his career Justin Verlander will go on the disabled list

Today’s game is historic in a way, as it will mark the first time in eight years that the Tigers will be sending anyone except Justin Verlander to the mound for Opening Day. David Price is the man who has big shoes to fill for today’s game as the Tigers look to get their season off to the perfect start in search of a fifth straight American League Central title this season.

Price has experience of the pressures of Opening Day though, having taken to the mound for the start of the season four previous times. However, today’s will be a first for the Tigers.

Tigers’ manager Brad Ausmus said, “It’s a tough decision when you have two guys like that. I think I could have gone either way. I could have gone Verlander-Price, but I decided to go Price-Verlander.”

Another reason today will feel very different – this time from the Twins’ perspective – is that this will be the first time since 2001 that Minnesota will start a season without Ron Gardenhire steering the ship.

That means today will be the managerial debut for Paul Molitor, who has said ahead of the game: “I’m coming here to win. I think it’s very important to lay that out there right from the start. Things can change very dramatically at this level, very quickly.”

This season’s American League Central should be one of the most competitive in the MLB, and today’s game makes for a mouth-watering encounter to give a preview of the rivalries likely to feature in the division this year.

Today’s big game between the Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins will start at 1.08 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the FSN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.

  • Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta (L), flanked by his Deputy William Ruto, addresses a news conference at the State House in the capital Nairobi, April 4, Christian Post Report – 2015. Kenyatta said on Saturday that those behind an attack in which al-Shabaab Islamist militants killed 148 people at a university were “deeply embedded” in Kenya, and called on Kenyan Muslims to help prevent radicalization.

A police source has said that despite the alarm sounding last week of the massacre taking place at Garissa University College in Kenya, where close to 150 Christian students were killed, authorities took hours to respond, and ever arrived at the scene after politicians and journalists.

The source, who wasn’t named, told CNN on Monday that the government’s rapid response team was held up in the capital of Nairobi for hours, apparently arranging for transport, before it finally made its way to Garissa.

The authorities arrived even after some politicians and Nairobi-based journalists, but were able to gun down the four terrorists carrying out the slaughter 10 hours after the attack began.

Terror group al-Shabaab has taken responsibility for the attack, where the gunmen reportedly separated Christian students from Muslim students before killing the Christians.

Some, such as Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi, blamed corruption among the security forces for allowing al-Shabaab to carry out such attacks.

A morgue worker pulls the body of a suspected Garissa University College attacker in front of a morgue in Garissa, April 4, Christian Post Report – 2015. The death toll in an assault by Somali militants on Garissa University College is likely to climb above 147, a government source and media said on Friday, as anger grew among local residents over what they say as a government failure to prevent bloodshed.

“Entrenched corruption in the security system allows al-Shabaab to move freely in and out of Kenya and carry out such attacks with ease,” Mwangi said in a statement online.

Manoa Esipisu, a spokesman for Kenya’s president and deputy president, said, however, that the authorities did all that they can.

“With the benefit of hindsight you can always say things could have been done better,” Esipisu said, and argued that Kenyan authorities saved a lot of students and “got the job done.”

The government has meanwhile identified radical Islamic jihadist Mohamed Mohamud as the mastermind behind the Garissa attack, and posted a reward of Christian Post Report – 20 million Kenyan shillings, or close to $Christian Post Report – 215,000, for his capture.

Mohamud, a senior leader in al-Shabaab, is “credited with having an extensive terrorist network within Kenya,” according to a Kenyan ministry document shared by CNN.

The militant has been accused of leading external operations against Kenya, and has been identified as the regional commander within al-Shabaab in charge of the Juba region.

Separately, investigators revealed that one of the attackers killed on Thursday was Abdirahim Mohammed Abdullahi, the law-school-educated son of a Kenyan government official who had been reported missing in Christian Post Report – 2014.

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta warned that his administration will “respond in the severest ways possible” to the slaughter, and will “fight terrorism to the end.”

The country’s “security forces are pursuing the remaining accomplices. We will bring all of them to justice. … We are also in active pursuit of the mastermind and have placed a reward for his capture,” he added.

Kenya fighter jets bombed al-Shabaab bases in neighboring Somalia on Sunday night as part of that initiative, BBC News reported. Army spokesman David Obonyo revealed that the air strikes targeted two camps in the Gedo region used by the Islamic extremists to cross into Kenya.

Christians in Kenya and around the world have been mourning the slain students, and honored them in their Easter prayers.

Christians from the World Victory Centre sing hymns during an Easter crusade service for the victims of the Garissa University attack in Kenya’s capital Nairobi, April 5, Christian Post Report – 2015. The son of a Kenyan government official was one of the masked gunmen who killed nearly 150 at a university last week, the interior ministry said on Sunday, as Kenyan churches hired armed guards to protect their Easter congregations.

“We join the sufferings of the relatives and the victims with the sufferings of Jesus,” said Bishop Joseph Alessandro of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Garissa. “The victims will rise again with Christ.”

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the leader of the Anglican Communion, said in his Easter message: “There have been so many martyrs in the last year. On Maundy Thursday, three days ago, around 150 Kenyans were killed because of being Christian. They are witnesses, unwilling, unjustly, wickedly, and they are martyrs in both senses of the word.”

He added: “These martyrs too are caught up in the resurrection: their cruel deaths, the brutality of their persecution, their persecution is overcome by Christ himself at their side because they share his suffering, at their side because he rose from the dead.”
