Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful

Christian Post Report – Last Friday on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Wyatt confronted Brooke and Deacon about their conversation. He says that Deacon will end up hurting his mother, but both Brooke and Deacon say that nothing is going on between the two of them. Wyatt isn’t convinced and tells Deacon that he shouldn’t marry Quinn. He leaves.

Later, Deacon tells Brooke that he can’t be with her anymore. Brooke tells him that he’s making a big mistake and hopes that he realizes it one day.

At the studio, Nicole is trying to convince Oliver to add her to the photo shoot. He tells her to talk to Rick or Maya. When Nicole goes to her sister, Maya tells her that she’s got to stop acting as if she’d tell anyone her secret. Nicole says that she can do that, on one condition—she’s got to be in the photo shoot. Maya tells her that she can’t make that happen. Nicole warns her about saying no to her.

At the warehouse, Quinn is holding a dagger and when Wyatt appears, she says that it’s a letter opener for Rick. Wyatt tells her about what he overheard between Deacon and Brooke. Quinn grips the dagger so hard that she cuts her hand. Quinn says she’ll talk to Brooke, and Deacon tells her to avoid Brooke and just give Deacon his ring back.

The New York Yankees will host the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday as the MLB 2015 season opening day gets started. Christian Post Report – Yankee Stadium is home to the New York Yankees and is located in the Bronx borough of New York.

These division rivals will be licking their lips at the prospect of the American League East this season. There is no clear favorite at this stage, and both of these franchises will be wanting to get the season off to a winning start to emerge as early frontrunners in the coming weeks.

Today’s game will see two right-handers feature on opening day at Yankee Stadium; Masahiro Tanaka will start for the Yankees, and Drew Hutchison will take to the mound for the Blue Jays. Neither pitcher has started on Opening Day before in the MLB, so it will be a unique experience for both.

Tanaka will remember his big league debut against the Blue Jays last year in April. Things did not all go as planned though, as Melky Cabrera smashed a home run off him on just his third pitch to welcome him to the league. The Yankees did go on to win that game, but Tanaka probably will be happy that Cabrera is not part of the proceedings this year. He has now moved on to the White Rox.

“He’s gone, so I wouldn’t have that sort of negative image from last year. Yes, obviously I’d like to have a different outcome for the first batter this season,” Tanaka said.

He added, “I think the biggest difference is that I’ll be pitching at home this season. I’m really happy about that. Last year obviously was over in Toronto and being away from home. Definitely being able to pitch at home this season, I’m really happy about that.”

The New York Yankees will take on the Toronto Blue Jays from 1.05 p.m. ET today, and the game can be watched on TV on the ESPN and YES networks, or online through free live stream by clicking here.

San Jose Sharks’ Logan Couture (39) reacts after scoring the game-winning goal against Los Angeles Kings in the overtime period during Game 3 of their NHL Western Conference semifinal playoff hockey game in San Jose, California, May 18, 2013.

Christian Post Report – The San Jose Sharks host the Dallas Stars at SAP Center at San Jose in the regular season of the NHL. To be played on April 6, 2015, the puck drops at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The Sharks have had a rough season so far, they are fifth in the Pacific Division and 10th in the Western Conference. As a result they are set to miss the playoffs this year.

However, they have seemed to pick up the pace at the tail-end of the season, as they have won four of their last six matches and managed to take at least a point from five of their last six.

They beat the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia flyers before losing to a shootout against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

However, they would bounce back with dominating performances against the Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes.

Their streak of points recently ended when they lost 5-3 to the Coyotes in their return match.

Just one point behind the Sharks in the West are the Stars.

They have only two ins in their last five matches and one of their glaring problems is on their defense.

In their last five matches, Dallas have allowed 24 goals, with crushing losses to the Edmonton Oilers (4-0), Calgary Flames (5-3) and St. Louis Blues (7-5). In their two wins against the Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators, they needed overtime to win and allowed their opponents to score three goals in each of those games.

This season, these two teams have already met twice, with both resulting in wins for the Sharks.

Both games were played at the American Airlines Center, with San Jose netting five goals in each game while Dallas have five goals combined.

Los Angeles Kings vs Vancouver Canucks Live Stream (Start Time): Watch NHL Hockey Online

Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick

Christian Post Report – With only three points separating the two teams, the Los Angeles Kings try to close the gap with the Vancouver Canucks when they meet at the Rodgers Arena in the NHL. The match is on April 6, 2015 at 10:00 PM ET.

Vancouver are currently second in the Pacific Division with 95 points, while Los Angeles are fourth with 92, with the Calgary Flames in between them with 93.

As it stands, the Canucks and Flames are vying for the wild card slot, with the Anaheim Ducks already securing their playoff spot as the division winners. Both teams are in streaks, with the Canucks losing back-to-back games while the defending champions have won two straight.

Vancouver have been up and down lately, winning three straight games against the Kings, Arizona Coyotes and Winnipeg Jets before dropping two straight against the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars.

They rebounded against the St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators but find themselves again in a slump after losses to the Chicago Blackhawks and Jets.

With three matches remaining in their calendar, points are important and few bigger than this against the Kings.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles still have four matches left before the regular season ends and it seems they are getting their legs under them with back-to-back wins over the Edmonton Oilers and Avalanche.

After losing to the Minnesota Wild and Blackhawks, the Kings responded with eight goals at home against Edmonton and three against Colorado.

After their match against Vancouver, they still have Edmonton, the Flames and the San Jose Sharks.

The two teams have met four times this season, with Los Angeles taking the first three matches before Vancouver won last month. Two of the Kings’ victories have come at the Rodgers Arena, including a big 4-0 shutout in their third meeting of the season.

Detroit Tigers vs Minnesota Twins Live Stream Free: Watch MLB 2015 Opening Day Baseball Online (Start Time, Preview)

The Detroit Tigers will play the Minnesota Twins on Monday for MLB 2015 Opening Day. Today’s game takes place from Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan and has a start time of 1.08 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the FSN network or online through free live stream (details below).

Justin Verlander reuters.com

Christian Post Report – for the first time in his career Justin Verlander will go on the disabled list

Today’s game is historic in a way, as it will mark the first time in eight years that the Tigers will be sending anyone except Justin Verlander to the mound for Opening Day. David Price is the man who has big shoes to fill for today’s game as the Tigers look to get their season off to the perfect start in search of a fifth straight American League Central title this season.

Price has experience of the pressures of Opening Day though, having taken to the mound for the start of the season four previous times. However, today’s will be a first for the Tigers.

Tigers’ manager Brad Ausmus said, “It’s a tough decision when you have two guys like that. I think I could have gone either way. I could have gone Verlander-Price, but I decided to go Price-Verlander.”

Another reason today will feel very different – this time from the Twins’ perspective – is that this will be the first time since 2001 that Minnesota will start a season without Ron Gardenhire steering the ship.

That means today will be the managerial debut for Paul Molitor, who has said ahead of the game: “I’m coming here to win. I think it’s very important to lay that out there right from the start. Things can change very dramatically at this level, very quickly.”

This season’s American League Central should be one of the most competitive in the MLB, and today’s game makes for a mouth-watering encounter to give a preview of the rivalries likely to feature in the division this year.

Today’s big game between the Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins will start at 1.08 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the FSN network or online through free live stream by clicking here.

Wisconsin Badgers vs Duke Blue Devils Live Stream, CBS TV Details: Watch NCAA 2015 March Madness Online

Duke Blue Devils forward Mason Plumlee (5) shoots around Maryland Terrapins center Alex Len (25) during the first half of their ACC Championship college basketball game in Greensboro, North Carolina March 15, 2013.

Christian Post Report – The Lucas Oil Stadium will host this year’s NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball championship as the Wisconsin Badgers face-off against the Duke Blue Devils. Tip-off is on April 6, 2015 at 9:18 p.m. ET.

As the top seed in the West Region, Wisconsin showed their grit and determination as they beat Coast Carolina in the second round before edging out eighth-seeded Oregon in the third.

In the Sweet 16 they beat the hungry and upset-minded North Carolina Tar Heels 79-72 before setting up a mouth-watering showdown against Arizona.

Their match in the Elite Eight was an intense battle, with both teams trading buckets but it was Wisconsin who prevailed 85-78 led by Frank Kaminsky’s 29 points and Sam Dekker’s 27.

With a win over the Wildcats, the Badgers booked a date with heavily-favoured Kentucky in the Final Four. Dominating every team in the tournament so far, the Wildcats were unbeaten so far in the season, and everyone was talking about their historic run to the title.

Everyone was intimidated, except for the Badgers.

They kept things close and came up with the crucial plays when they needed as they beat Kentucky 71-64 to reach the title game. Four of five starters scored in double digits for Wisconsin, led by Kaminsky’s 20. Dekker had another good game with 16 points while Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig each had 12 points.

Wisconsin was efficient from the line, draining 18-of-22 for an 82 percent conversion rate as they limited Kentucky to only 10 attempts from the free throw.

Meanwhile, Duke was the king of the South Region and their performances in the competition gave evidence to that claim. They dominated Robert Morris in the second round, thrashed San Diego State in the third and beat Utah in the Sweet 16.

Against Gonzaga in the Elite Eight, they were given few to no challenges as they cruised to a 66-52 victory.

Many thought things would get tougher in the Final Four as they faced the Michigan State Spartans, but it was the same story as the other teams who tried to beat them.

Duke built an 11-point lead at the half and continued to pour on the pressure against their Big Ten rivals. Justise Winslow and Jahlil Okafor proved to be too much as the big men scored 19 and 18, respectively. Despite only shooting 20 percent from beyond the arc, Duke displayed their brilliance from within the paint as they converted 52 percent of their field goals in the game, while holding Michigan State to only 40 percent.

These two teams have proven their worth to win the title, now Duke and Wisconsin will try to get one more win to prove they are the best this year.

Miami Heat NBA 2015 News, Rumors: Mario Chalmers Unsure of Role

Mario Chalmers Reuters/File

Miami Heat point guard Mario Chalmers

Christian Post Report – Mario Chalmers is in his seventh season with the Miami Heat, winning two NBA championships in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 season.

Earlier in the season, it appeared that Heat coach Erik Spoelstra was trying to find the perfect fit for the guard, starting him on point and sometimes shooting guard as Chalmers tried to settle in to his role.

The Heat had drafted point guard Shabazz Napier for added depth but ultimately traded off Norris Cole in a three-team trade which involved the New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns and Heat.

In the trade, the Pelicans acquired Cole, Shawne Williams and Justin Hamilton, the Suns got John Salmons, Danny Granger, Hamilton after his contract was bought out, and two first-round picks from Miami. And finally, the Heat acquired brothers Goran and Zoran Dragic, adding strength in the point guard position, but placing Chalmers’ role in question.

Naturally, Dragic was slotted automatically into the starting role, and star Dwyane Wade is on the number two spot, which leaves Chalmers in a tough position.

With all the change that had taken place, the 6-foot-1 guard has now questioned his role on the team.

“I don’t even really know what my role is on this team anymore,” Chalmers told The Miami Herald. “I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing.”

His movement from point to shooting guard has been a result of players being injured and him being placed as a temporary solution – a decision that frustrates and baffles him. Chalmers understands the situation and revealed that it isn’t easy.

“A lot of people are out of rhythm, and you really don’t know what’s going to happen — when you’re going to get the ball, when you’re going to shoot it, you just never know. You just got to be ready for everything, I guess,” he continued.

As the Heat continue their push towards the playoffs, it should be interesting how this plays out, and to see what Mario’s future holds in Miami.

Chalmers’ importance to the Heat was evident as when he played his rookie season as a starter at age 22. He played 82 games and was in the starting five every game as he averaged 10.0 points, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals in 32 minutes per night.

In their first championship run, Chalmers was also a very important factor in the team as he averaged 11.3 points per game while shooting 44 percent from the field.

When they played against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, “Super Mario” was a constant thorn on Russell Westbrook’s side, with the Heat guard using his size and strength to throw off his athletic rival.

And with LeBron James leaving for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the start of the season, many thought that he was one of the players due to step-up as the Heat started to rebuild past the era of the King.

Are the Cleveland Browns Ready to Move on From Johnny Football?

Johnny Manziel reuters.com

Johnny Manziel may not be in the Cleveland Browns’ future plans

Christian Post Report – It looks like Johnny Manziel is not a big part of the Cleveland Browns plans moving forward. While Johnny completes a extended stay in rehab, the team’s coaching staff is moving forward with plans for the 2015 season. Most reports stemming from those meeting indicate that they are not including Manziel in those plans.

Since Manziel has the QB talent that would require an offense to be built around him, it now looks like he will have to find another opportunity for his talent to shine at the NFL level.

“I think about 90 percent that they have moved on [from Manziel] in their own minds except that they really don’t know who they’re going to get when Johnny leaves rehab, which has been an extended stay — a two-month stay,” Chris Mortenson said on ESPN. “He should be getting out some time in the first week of April if they’re satisfied that he’s ready to go out and get into society and that whatever deep-rooted problems that he had has been addressed.”

“The bottom line is that Johnny Manziel’s future with the Browns has been in question. When they were putting together half of a new offensive staff, Manziel’s name barely even came up in conversation,” he added.

That is not good news for Manziel, but the Browns do have a new offensive coordinator and have signed free agent QB Josh McCown with the expectation that he will be the starter at least in the short term. All of these facts seem to indicate that the Browns will look seriously at drafting a QB in the coming NFL draft.

Giving up on a first round pick one year in is not a smart move for any NFL team. It is not something the Browns can really afford to do, but by admitting they made a mistake on Manziel, that could start them on the long road to rebuilding their struggling franchise.

St Louis Rams NFL 2015 News, Rumors: Jeff Fisher Wants Wide Receiver Kenny Britt to Do Better

Kenny Britt has played one season for the St. Louis Rams and earned himself a two-year deal to stay and see if he and new quarterback Nick Foles can make magic together. Still, St. Louis head coach Jeff Fisher expects Kenny to play better in 2015.

Kenny Britt reuters.com

Christian Post Report – The St. Louis Rams need more production out of Kenny Britt

For the first time in his career in 2014, Britt played a full season. He caught 48 balls for 748 yards and three touchdowns. Those are pretty much average for Britt after playing six seasons in the NFL, five of which were played for the Tennessee Titans. If the Rams won’t to take the next step in their development the need Britt to be a bigger threat down the field.

“It didn’t surprise me because obviously I know Kenny, the production didn’t surprise me,” Fisher told ESPN.com. “I can kind of share the same issue Kenny does and that’s we think he can be better. I think he can do better. He thinks he can be better.”

“He thinks he can be more productive. He’s looking forward to the offensive changes. I think yeah, we should see a lot more out of Kenny this year,” the head coach added.

Britt has big incentives in his contract that can both earn him a lot more money and possibly even void the second year of the deal (letting him hit the market possibly with tremendous value) if he can find a way to be more productive.

However, the Rams will need to be better on offense as a whole to get him those numbers and Foles will have to play far better than his predecessor did. The Rams also need to find way to pass protect better giving Foles enough time to hit Britt down the field.
