The Incredibles

Christian Post Report – It’s been more than a decade since Pixar Animation Studios released the hit film ‘The Incredibles’ that tells the story of the Parr family, a family of superheroes who are trying to adjust in a world that has shunned anyone with superpowers.

Though news of ‘The Incredibles 2’ first broke in March 2014 as Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger announced that the sequel was in development, little is known about what fans can expect from the film. Now, more information has started coming in about the plot and the people involved in the upcoming film.

At the moment, no official director has been announced, but according to CinemaBlend, Brad Bird, writer and director of the first movie, is developing the story for the sequel.

The Parr family will reportedly be back for the sequel, however, there is no confirmation whether the original voice actors will be back for the film.

There is speculation that there will be a time jump between the first movie and the sequel, and the Parr children are expected to be older. It’s possible that Dash, the boy with the gift of speed, could be voiced by another actor in ‘Incredibles 2’.

There are rumors that Jack-Jack, the baby of the family, could be the central focus of the plot as at the end of the original movie, the family discovers that far from being powerless, Jack-Jack is actually the most powerful of them all as he has super strength, laser vision, has the ability to shapeshift, phase through objects, and teleport as seen in movie and the short, ‘Jack-Jack Attack.’

No release date has been officially set for the film, but Pixar has already penciled in November 22, 2017 and June 15, 2018 for their upcoming projects, which have not been named. It’s possible that the film could premiere on any of these two dates.

Germanwings Audio Transcript Reveals Captain Begging Lubitz to Open Door; Co-Pilot’s Girlfriend Claims She Is Expecting His Child

People identified by the the mayor of Le Vernet as family members of the pilot of the Germanwings Airbus A320 react as they pay their respects at the memorial for the victims of the air disaster in the village of Le Vernet, near the crash site of the Germanwings Airbus A320 in French Alps March 28, 2015. The co-pilot suspected of deliberately crashing a passenger plane in the French Alps told his girlfriend he was in psychiatric treatment, and that he was planning a spectacular gesture that everyone would remember, the German daily Bild reported on Saturday.

Christian Post Report – The audio transcript from the “black box” recordings of the fatal Germanwings Flight 9525 has been leaked, revealing that Capt. Patrick Sondenheimer screamed and begged co-pilot Andreas Lubitz to open the door. Lubitz’s girlfriend has said in separate reports that she’s expecting his child.

While the audio itself was not released, German newspaper Bild released on Sunday the transcript of what it says is on 1.5 hours of audio footage from the cockpit voice recorder. CNN translated the transcript, though pointed out it cannot verify its authenticity.

The transcript allegedly says that Sondenheimer screamed and banged on the locked cockpit door, asking Lubitz: “For God’s sake, open the door!”

The co-pilot, who began the plane’s descent after the captain had stepped out to go the bathroom, never opened the door but silently guided the plane as it crashed into the French Alps last week, killing all 150 people on board.

Investigators have been looking for clues to help them understand why Lubitz committed the mass murder-suicide. Last week several websites reported that Lubitz apparently suffered from depression, and even interrupted his flight training six years ago due to a “severe depressive episode,” which required treatment for a year and a half. Investigators even found a torn-up doctor’s notes in his home, but the illness or condition he was suffering from has not been revealed.

Flags representing some of the nationalities of the victims are seen as family members and relatives gather at the momorial, near the crash site of a Germanwings Airbus A320, in Le Vernet, in French Alps, March 29, 2015. The co-pilot suspected of deliberately crashing a passenger plane in the French Alps told his girlfriend he was in psychiatric treatment, and that he was planning a spectacular gesture that everyone would remember, the German daily Bild reported on Saturday.

A new German report from Bild on Sunday revealed that the co-pilot’s girlfriend, who wasn’t named, said that she’s expecting a baby with him. The Telegraph translated the report, noting that the woman, who works as a teacher, told her students about her pregnancy in the past few weeks. The two apparently lived together in a flat in the German city of Dusseldorf.

There is still no direct evidence to show why Lubitz decided to crash the plane, however. The leaked transcript does not show anything suspicious in the exchanges between Lubitz and Sondenheimer before the co-pilot locked the cockpit door, other than Lubitz telling the captain he can go to the bathroom at any time if he needs to.

French authorities, who first broke the news that Lubitz had deliberately crashed the plane, are said to be angered by the release of the transcript. Accident investigation agency BEA told CNN that it’s “dismayed” at the leak.

Meanwhile, Lubitz’s home town of Montabaur has been holding church services to pray for the victims of the plane crash, along with the co-pilot’s parents and younger brother.

On Sunday, the packed congregation in the town’s main Catholic church prayed for all those affected by Lubitz’s actions.

Father Blechschmidt of the St Peter in Chains church told the 200-strong congregation at the Palm Sunday service: “Lord, our God, we grieve for the victims of flight 4U9525 in the French Alps. Stunned, we had to follow this terrible disaster in the media. It is hard to put our thoughts into words and to understand what has happened, perhaps because it cannot be understood.”

He continued: “The knowledge that we have about this plane crash is not yet definitive. That does not make this situation easier for us.”

Is a Star Wars Live Action TV Series Really Happening?

STAR WARS: The Force Awakens YOUTUBESCREENSHOT

“STAR WARS: The Force Awakens” opens in theaters December 18, 2015

Christian Post Report – The “Star Wars” live action TV series project has never really progressed beyond pronouncements from original “Star Wars” creator and Lucasfilm head George Lucas and producers attached to the project that there were scripts available and that they were only waiting for production costs to significantly go down. All this was happening between 2005 and 2011.

After Walt Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2013, ABC Studios announced that they were looking into the possibility of continuing the TV series project and in 2014, there were rumors that casting was on the way for “Star Wars” projects.

Just recently, rumors started circulating again that the TV series project is back in the pipeline again. According to a report in io9 and Cinelinx, Disney and Lucasfilm are revisiting the project. Both reports likened the TV series in development to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In terms of storylines, the Cinelinx report says that it will not likely be based on the original scripts Lucas earlier wrote when they were still planning for the project, which supposedly focuses on a mob-like group of criminal bosses who controlled the criminal underworld under the Empire. Since the old scripts are out of the question, the series will supposedly be based on any of the 20 new stories that are in development.

According to io9, these stories could cover the period after the events in “The Return of the Jedi” up until the events in the upcoming “The Force Awakens.”

An Entertainment Weekly report lists some of the books, which include individual stories of characters such as Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Hans Solo and C-3PO among others. There will also be a book that is an epilogue for the original trilogy. Most of these books will be published between now and the release of “The Force Awakens,” and is said to target the young adult (YA) audience.

“It’s a way to introduce the heroes and villains of that original trilogy to a new audience that might not be as familiar as the audience that went and saw the films when they first came out,” said Disney Publishing exc Andrew Sugerman.

Christian Post Report – Capcom just announced its “Resident Evil 5” will be released in Gold Edition on Steam, with a discount on the original game until the end of the month.

The fifth installment of the action video game “Resident Evil” will see a Gold Edition release on Steam, Capcom recently announced.

Initially launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2009, Steam is heralding its release on the site with a Gold Edition discount of 30 percent off and 66 percent off on the original “Resident Evil 5” game until March 30.

Steam users having long-requested the Gold Edition content and who already own boxed copies of “Resident Evil 5” with Windows Live can acquire their Steamworks copy of the core game title for free, then simply purchase the new Gold Edition DLC.

The game’s Gold Edition originally premiered on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2010, with two new story-based additions – Desperate Escape and Lost in Nightmares chapters, four new costumes, a versus mode, and Mercenaries Reunion.

All of the downloadable content for the game will be also be offered for Steam’s Gold Edition. However DLC content purchased from the Microsoft GFWL Marketplace will not be available in Steamworks due to the absence of an activation key or a CD.

“Resident Evil 5” centers around the story arc of Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar investigating a terrorist threat in the fictional region of Kijuju in Africa. Players will experience Chris confronting the demons of his past when an old enemy, Albert Wesker, makes an appearance in the game.

Despite its issues with controls, and some complaints about racist content, “Resident Evil 5” received generally positive reviews when it came on the scene six years ago. Its sequel, “Resident Evil 6” followed in 2012.

Easter Brings Hope

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”
— John 11:25

Christian Post Report – Easter is not about brightly colored eggs, wearing pastels, or enjoying a big meal, although it could include these. Easter is about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • Greg Laurie
(Photo: rever Hoehne for Harvest Ministries)
Greg Laurie, senior pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, California and Harvest Orange County in Irvine, California, shares the Gospel with a sold-out crowd of 19,000 for Harvest America at the American Airlines Center and Victory Park in Dallas, Texas, Oct. 5, 2014.

For some, Easter will be a great day, spent surrounded by family and friends. But for others, it will be a sad day, because Easter is a reminder of a loved one who has died and is now desperately missed.

Death seems so cruel, so harsh, and so final. That is what the disciples were feeling when they saw their Lord, whom they had left everything to follow, hanging on the cross. They were devastated. Death had crushed them. But if they would have gone back in their memories, they would have recalled an important event and statement Jesus had made.

They would have remembered Jesus standing at the tomb of his close friend Lazarus. They would have remembered that Jesus did something completely unexpected: He wept (see John 11:35). Jesus wept, because He knew that death was not part of God’s original plan. Humanity was not meant to grow old, to suffer with disease, or to die. But because of the sin of Adam and Eve, sin entered the human race, and death followed with it. And death spread to all of us. Jesus wept, because it broke His heart.

But standing there at Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus also delivered these hope-filled words: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25). Death is not the end. And the resurrection of Jesus Christ proves it.

If you have put your faith in Christ, then Easter means that you will live forever in the presence of God. Easter brings hope to the person who has been devastated by death.

iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Report Debates Claims That New iPhone Will Have LCD or OLED Technology

iPhone 7 Youtube Screenshot/ file

An iPhone 7 concept

Christian Post Report – Apple made a big stir in the tech market when it unveiled the Apple Watch with an OLED display. This has also stirred rumors that the next generation iPhone, perhaps the iPhone 7, could ditch LCD technology in favor of what the smartwatch has when it is released later this year – currently touted for a September 2015 launch date.

However, a recent report from Apple Insider cited JP Morgan Chase & Co.’s chief analyst Narci Chang saying that this might not be the case for the next smartphone which, many believed to be called the “iPhone 7.”

JP Morgan stipulated that the Cupertino-based tech giant isn’t still quite prepared to move up from LCD to OLED technology for its next iPhone lineup.

One of the reasons cited in Chang’s report pointed to Apple’s “recent billion-dollar prepayment” deal with Japan Display facility which will churn out “nearly 100 million 5-inch LTPS LCD panels each year.”

The new facility will give the tech mammoth an “exclusive access to the factory’s output.”

Apple’s biggest supplier, Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd. is meanwhile reported to have invested “$2.6 billion” for a new LCD facility in Taiwan, the site added.

With these given scenarios, it would certainly be improbable for an OLED iPhone 7 to come out anytime soon.

The talks of an OLED Apple smartphone were previously reported by a Japanese publication Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun. Even earlier rumors indicated a sapphire glass display. But apparently, Apple’s supplier of the material, GT Advanced, failed to produce the required quantity that eventually led to the cancellation of the plan.

The next generation iPhone is expected to come out in September 2015, although there is speculation that the device launched this year could be a simple upgrade to the iPhone 6 series, called the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and the iPhone 6C. Those same rumors claim that Apple fans won’t see an iPhone 7 until 2016. The device, as rumored, will feature a new three-sensor camera technology which will further see improvements on its image and video quality outputs.

There are also claims saying that the purported smartphone will be shipped with a built-in Apple SIM card and a Force Touch technology, a feature which basically recognizes the difference between a light tap to a hard press.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Walking Dead Season 5 Finale Live Stream: Watch AMC Online (Plot Spoilers)

The Walking Dead Youtube Screenshot/ file

A promo shot from season 5 of The Walking Dead

Christian Post Report – The Walking Dead Season 5 finale will air on Sunday, and promises to be as dramatic and unpredictable as fans have come to expect from the hit AMC series. The finale episode will start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the AMC network or online through live stream (details below).

Fans will be desperate to find out what is in store for Rick and his group following last week’s developments that clearly have set up a tense time for this week’s finale episode.

Spoilers for tonight’s finale have indicated that everything about the Wolves will be revealed, and the history and their back story will be shown.

Other spoilers have said that Rick and Morgan are set to be reunited, but it will be far from a peaceful and happy reunion, rather it will be a bloody and horrific affair.

The most recent spoilers have also indicated that Daryl will be staying around, which rebuts previous rumors that he was on his way out.

A leaked description of tonight’s episode states: “Morgan wakes up in a car. He makes some porridge-type food by a fire. An armed man (Benedict Samuel) walks over and points a gun at him. Morgan asks what the W on his head means. He explains the backstory about the wolves. He says, ‘You know the first settlers here, put bounties on wolves heads, brought the natives into it, made them hunt them. Didn’t take them to long to kill them all (points to the W on his forehead) they’re back now’.”

The description adds, “After threatening to take Morgan and kill him, Morgan takes him out ninja style with his hiking stick along with a second Wolves member (Jessie C. Boyd) who jumps out of some bushes. Morgan ties them up and puts them in the car. He sounds the horn and walks off.”

One thing for fans to look out for is a special after credits scene – so make sure you don’t turn off too early. Waiting around should ensure you see the special scene, which could give some hints at what is to come in Season 6. Some rumors have claimed that Negan and his group will be introduced, setting them up as the main villains for Walking Dead Season 6.

Walking Dead Season 5 finale will take place tonight from 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the AMC network or online through live stream by clicking here.

Peter Dinklage Reveals A Major Spoiler for ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 (VIDEO)

Peter Dinklage Youtube Screenshot/ file

Peter Dinklage in a scene from Game of Thrones.

Christian Post Report – “Game of Thrones'” actor Peter Dinklage inadvertently let slip a major spoiler for season five of the award-winning epic miniseries, which returns to HBO next month.

Dinklage, who plays witty and sarcastic Tyrion Lannister on “Game of Thrones,” just released a big spoiler for season five, which premieres April 12 on HBO.

Dinklage was interviewed by Popsugar recently and accidently revealed Tyrion’s fate on the show, which sees him journeying to Meereen to meet the Mother of Dragons, and coming face to face with a dragon himself.

When asked what burning question he would want George R.R Martin, author of the fantasy novels, “A Song of Fire and Ice” on which the TV series is based, to answer, Dinklage thought long and hard before answering:

“Do I die?” The pint-sized English actor ruminated out loud. “I just wanna know.”

He followed this statement by saying they would be filming for season six soon, giving away the fact that Tyrion Lannister does survive season 5.

“But I guess I just did a spoiler that I don’t die this season,” the Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor said with a rueful grin.

Fans of Dinklage, whose character has amassed a large number of followers since the show opened in 2011, will be relieved to learn he will not be one of the major characters Martin earlier said the show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss were planning on killing off during season 5, despite those characters not dying in the book version.

Tyrion, who fans are rooting for as a strong contender for the Iron Throne, will be around come season six. Whether he will ally himself with Daenerys Targaryen to support her claim in Westeros, or end up opposing her remains to be seen this season, which starts off in two weeks on HBO.
