Christian Post Report – The Walking Dead Season 5 finale will air on Sunday, and promises to be as dramatic and unpredictable as fans have come to expect from the hit AMC series. The finale episode will start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the AMC network or online through free live stream (details below).

Fans will be desperate to find out what is in store for Rick and his group following last week’s developments that clearly have set up a tense time for this week’s finale episode.

Spoilers for tonight’s finale have indicated that everything about the Wolves will be revealed, and the history and their back story will be shown.

Other spoilers have said that Rick and Morgan are set to be reunited, but it will be far from a peaceful and happy reunion, rather it will be a bloody and horrific affair.

The most recent spoilers have also indicated that Daryl will be staying around, which rebuts previous rumors that he was on his way out.

A leaked description of tonight’s episode states: “Morgan wakes up in a car. He makes some porridge-type food by a fire. An armed man (Benedict Samuel) walks over and points a gun at him. Morgan asks what the W on his head means. He explains the backstory about the wolves. He says, ‘You know the first settlers here, put bounties on wolves heads, brought the natives into it, made them hunt them. Didn’t take them to long to kill them all (points to the W on his forehead) they’re back now’.”

The description adds, “After threatening to take Morgan and kill him, Morgan takes him out ninja style with his hiking stick along with a second Wolves member (Jessie C. Boyd) who jumps out of some bushes. Morgan ties them up and puts them in the car. He sounds the horn and walks off.”

One thing for fans to look out for is a special after credits scene – so make sure you don’t turn off too early. Waiting around should ensure you see the special scene, which could give some hints at what is to come in Season 6. Some rumors have claimed that Negan and his group will be introduced, setting them up as the main villains for Walking Dead Season 6.

Christian Post Report – Last year, the San Antonio Spurs shocked the world when they dismantled the Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh during the 2014 NBA Finals.

In reality, the Spurs just executive the plays they have been playing all season long and through the playoffs.

However, the consistency and accuracy executing the gameplan were the key factors that spelled the game, and finished the series in just five games.

Unfortunately, this year, San Antonio has been finding it difficult to remain consistent. Just a few games ago the team soundly defeated East Conference leader Atlanta Hawks, while in another game it was beaten by the Knicks who own the league’s worst record.

On Wednesday, San Antonio recorded their highest-margin win in the last two years against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder, 130-91.

Even the Spurs players themselves cannot seem to pinpoint what is the problem with their inconsistency.

“We’re all motivated. It’s not like we’re doing it on purpose. We just have to make a conscious effort to make sure and play better game to game,” said starting point guard Tony Parker.

“I don’t know,” said Parker. “We have great guys on the team. We’re all motivated. It’s not like we’re doing it on purpose. We just have to make a conscious effort to make sure and play better game to game.”

However, as far as coach Gregg Popovich is concerned, the Spurs’ lackluster performance throughout the season is primarily a lack of effort.

In 2014, the Spurs ended March on an impressive winning run and mentality that carried them to the playoffs against their toughest matchup last year, the Dallas Mavericks.

But once they got past Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs, it was all smooth sailing for San Antonio.

In this final stretch towards the playoffs, the Spurs need to get things going so they come prepared for the tougher match-ups in the post-season.

Christian Post Report – While Russell Westbrook is wrecking havoc on NBA teams’ defenses and piling up the numbers night in and night out, the Thunder’s other star will unfortunately not see action in the next several months.

According to a report by ESPN, reigning MVP Kevin Durant will be undergoing a bone graft surgery on his right foot, which already underwent a couple of surgeries in the past.

In the report, Durant will be undergoing the surgery early next week, as stated by Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti.

In February, the All Star forward had another surgery to alleviate the pain and discomfort he was experiencing in his right foot. A previous surgery in October inserted a screw on Durant’s Jones fracture.

While the report mentioned that most Jones fracture cases do not affect the performance of a player, Durant is considered one of the few who have experienced pain even after surgery.

A couple of weeks ago, Durant has reportedly been seen joining 3-vs-3 practices with the Thunder, although there was still pain in his right foot.

As a result, the Thunder management decided to take him out of practices and consult more specialists about his injury.

“With the focus of this process being aimed entirely on Kevin’s long-term health and stability, it was the consensus of the specialists team, in addition to a collective decision by Kevin, his representation and the Thunder, that to address the setback of the fracture site, a bone graft procedure would be the most proactive and recommended approach,” said Presti.

Dr. Martin O’Malley, considered as one of the world’s best foot and ankle physicians, will be the one performing the bone graft surgery in New York.

Christian Post Report – Following the announcement of “Downton Abbey” main cast member Maggie Smith (who plays as the Dowager Countess of Grantham, Madame Crawley) that she won’t be reprising her role if even the hit British period drama gets another season.

The show’s producers said that the story of the Crawley family is coming to an end this sixth season, which will begin airing in the U.K. through ITV this September 2015 and January 2016 in the U.S. via PBS channel.

Speaking in a telephone news press conference in London this Thursday, executive producer Gareth Neame confirmed that the upcoming chapter would be the last one because apparently, “it’s the right time” to do so.

“Our feeling is it’s good to quit while we’re ahead,” Neame told USA Today. “The show is in incredibly strong shape. … The danger is to let it go on forever … eight, nine, 10 years. We wanted to end when the time is right, so that people will love it for years to come and not feel there’s a drop-off, and we’ve not outstayed our welcome.”

“It was a cast decision, (too), we’ve taken these characters on a journey, we’ve told our story,” Neame added.

The show’s official social media account also echoed the news:

“The time has come to announce that Series 6 will be our final visit to #Downton. Thank you for sharing our journey!”

As expected, avid followers of the show were left disappointed upon hearing the update. However, Neame teased that there might be a big screen version of the TV drama.

“Our (he and Fellowes) position is that we would be very interested in that, it’s something we’re contemplating, it would be great fun to do,” he said. “I can’t confirm it’s definitely going to happen but we shall see.”

Some comments in the lead up to the event have suggested the match card is not as strong as it could be, however, as usual with WWE it’s not always just about the match ups, but there will be a number of underlying plot lines surrounding each fight that should ensure top entertainment to fans is given.

Christian Post Report – Although there is still a month or two to wait for the official unveiling of LG’s next flagship device, the LG G4, recent tech news pointed out a slew of alleged photos showing the smartphone.

A report from Phone Arena said that earlier this week, a series of pictures of what thought to be the G4 surfaced online thanks to an XDA Developers forum member. The images shown were claimed by the user to indicate what is rumored to be a “Note” variant of the G4 lineup.

The rumored version is said to closely resemble the parent device with the rear camera sitting in between a LED flash and a laser auto focus sensor, and alongside the power and volume buttons. Like the regular G4, the “Note” version appears to be slightly curved.

The difference between the two lies on the upper left side of the phone’s rear which, is said to house a stylus pen. Its front is also noticeably clean with thin bezels surrounding each side of the display. The device is also shown running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop mobile operating system.

The site, however, noted that the G4 Note is expected to be introduced into the mainstream by the “second half” part of this year.

The LG G4, on the other hand, is projected by experts to feature much more powerful specs than its predecessor. From what have been heard, it will likely include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC processor, a higher MP camera spec, and a QHD display.

Christian Post Report – After working on the movie adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The BFG or “The Big Friendly Giant,” Steven Spielberg is set to direct a science fiction film, this time an adaptation of the science fiction novel “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline. For the film, he will be working once again with Warner Bros. after a 14 year absence. His last project with Warner was the late Stanley Kubrick’s “Artificial Intelligence” in 2001.

According to a report in The Guardian, the film will be “his first entry into futuristic territory since 2005’s ‘War of the Worlds’.” In the 1970s and 1980s, he was known for directing science fiction films which dictated the look and feel of the genre during that period.

“Ready Player One” is a science fiction and dystopian novel authored by Ernest Cline and published in 2011. It is set in the year 2044 where people were caught up in a virtual reality utopia world called OASIS. The main character, Wade Watts is no different. Like other people, he is obsessed with find an Easter egg within OASIS. OASIS’ late creator James Halliday had indicated in his last will that whoever finds the Easter egg will inherit his entire estate, including the management and control of OASIS itself.

Wade’s perseverance pays off and he is able to find the three keys that are needed to unlock the egg. The story follows Wade as he tries to protect himself and his friends from an unscrupulous group of villains who want to take full control over OASIS.

Zak Penn, according to a report in Deadline, wrote the latest revision of the script, after Cline and Eric Eason. Penn is known for his work on “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “The Avengers.”

The report also cites how the film will depict the virtual reality world that the book talks about, given that recent technological developments is making virtual reality readily available and less expensive. If Warner Bros. could successfully bring in this new technology in this movie, it could change the way movies are made.

Christian Post Report – The latest trailer for “Terminator Genisys” gives fans a sneak preview of Award-winning actor J.K. Simmon’s role in the upcoming science fiction action film. Simmons was cast to play Detective O’Brien, a police detective who has been investigating cases of Sarah Connor and her encounters with killer robots.

In the trailer, his character is shown not only confronting Sarah Connor, but also running away from what seems to be one of the killer robots. According to Cinema Blend, “he proves in just a few lines that he will be able to bring a lightness to the proceedings without disrupting the rhythm or intensity of its action scenes.”

The rest of the trailer is chockfull of action scenes involving the main protagonists Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney), and The Guardian or the original T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Korean actor Lee Byung-hun plays the T-1000 and another actor is set to play another Terminator, the T-950, which is shown in the trailer as “a skeleton-faced robot made of partially liquefied metal.” The only other actor in the cast whose role has not been revealed yet is Matt Smith and an io9 report says he is the likely candidate to play this role.

The film is reportedly the first of another trilogy of films that Paramount developing based on the “Terminator” franchise. This first sequel works with a new premise: in 2029 John Connor, son of Sarah Connor gets word that Skynet will attack him on two fronts – the past and the future. He sends his trusted lieutenant Reese back in time to make sure that his mother is safe. Reese however returns to a past that is radically changed and he has to deal with a Sarah Connor who has been under the protection and training of a Guardian/T-800. He has to work with Connor and the Guardian/T-800 to stop Judgement Day.

The film is the fifth installment of the series, and is directed by Alan Taylor and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier.
