HTC One E9 Specs News, Rumors: New ‘Cheaper’ Android Flagship Appears In Live Images

After the One M9 that was announced earlier this month, it looks like there are more devices from the Taiwanese manufacturer than everyone expected.

Christian Post Report – First on the list is the One M9 Plus, which is already expected to make an appearance in an April 8 event in China.

Dubbed as the “More than One,” event, the company will finally unveil the QHD-powered HTC smartphone.

But while everyone was expecting just two devices from HTC to rival the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge from Samsung, it seems the Taiwan-based company has other things in mind.

In a recent report, the One E9 appeared out of the blue. The reports came from GSM Arena that showed a number of leaked live images of the rumored handset.

Last year, HTC unveiled its One E8 lineup, which is a cheaper version of its then flagship, the One M8. Aside from getting an identical design, the innards are also similar.

However, in order to make the device cheaper than the flagship, HTC used polycarbonate plastic instead. For HTC fans since the Sensation and One X days, they will surely love the feel of the One E8.

And now, the E9 could be announced very soon.

Based on rumors, the HTC One E9 will depart from its predecessor and hold its own as an Android phablet. Rumored specs include a 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a 32GB built-in memory, BoomSound speakers and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Rounding up the rumored spec sheet are the 20MP primary camera at the back and the 4MP UltraPixel shooter in front.

In the report, the HTC One E9 has just received TENAA certification in China, which means an actual release date is just around the corner.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chat with young people and hear their stories during a visit to the XLP London bus, a mobile youth centre parked in the Hazel Grove estate in Sydenham, London.

Christian Post Report – Kate Middleton, who has a month to go before she gives birth to her second child, attended three engagements in one day on Friday, March 27 in South East London. This marks the Duchess of Cambridge’s final public appearances before she goes on maternity leave.

The Duchess and her husband Prince William took a tour of the Stephen Lawrence Centre, a place for community learning and social research. The community center was named after Lawrence, who was killed in a racially motivated attack while waiting for a bus in London in April 1993.

For the event, the 33-year old royal donned a hot pink Mulberry coat and accessorized with black pumps. The Prince donned a navy, single breasted suit which he teamed with a purple tie.

Baroness Doreen Lawrence of Clarendon accompanied their Royal Highnesses during the tour. The Duke and Duchess then met with SLIK (Stephen Lawrence Instills Knowledge) Magazine editors in the PC room who are working on The Write Way project, a digital magazine and website project which offers young people aged 16 to 26 the opportunity to create, design, and manage a digital magazine and interactive website.

Before leaving, the couple signed the visitors’ book and the Duchess was given a bouquet of flowers.

Next, the royals visited XLP, “The Excel Project”, a Christian charity which works with disadvantaged young people that has an emphasis on being faith-based, but not faith-biased. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met key volunteers and supporters of the organization as well as young people from each of the boroughs XLP supports. They also visited an XLP community bus and the XLP mobile recording studio on the Hazel Grove Estate.

Last week, the Duchess revealed at another event that her second child will arrive by “mid-to-end” of April.

The Incredibles

Christian Post Report – It’s been more than a decade since Pixar Animation Studios released the hit film ‘The Incredibles’ that tells the story of the Parr family, a family of superheroes who are trying to adjust in a world that has shunned anyone with superpowers.

Though news of ‘The Incredibles 2’ first broke in March 2014 as Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger announced that the sequel was in development, little is known about what fans can expect from the film. Now, more information has started coming in about the plot and the people involved in the upcoming film.

At the moment, no official director has been announced, but according to CinemaBlend, Brad Bird, writer and director of the first movie, is developing the story for the sequel.

The Parr family will reportedly be back for the sequel, however, there is no confirmation whether the original voice actors will be back for the film.

There is speculation that there will be a time jump between the first movie and the sequel, and the Parr children are expected to be older. It’s possible that Dash, the boy with the gift of speed, could be voiced by another actor in ‘Incredibles 2’.

There are rumors that Jack-Jack, the baby of the family, could be the central focus of the plot as at the end of the original movie, the family discovers that far from being powerless, Jack-Jack is actually the most powerful of them all as he has super strength, laser vision, has the ability to shapeshift, phase through objects, and teleport as seen in movie and the short, ‘Jack-Jack Attack.’

No release date has been officially set for the film, but Pixar has already penciled in November 22, 2017 and June 15, 2018 for their upcoming projects, which have not been named. It’s possible that the film could premiere on any of these two dates.

‘The Expendables 4’ Cast News: Jackie Chan, Manny Pacquiao, Hulk Hogan Rumored to Be in Upcoming Film

“The Expendables 3” proved to be a bit of a let-down for Lionsgate. A poor showing at the opening weekend box office, coupled with the film being leaked online ahead of its release date and mixed reactions from fans seemed to have doomed the franchise, but Sylvester Stallone has high hopes for the series as he previously announced that there will be an “Expendables 4” and even a follow up to that.

Christian Post Report – Now, Stallone is reportedly aiming to add more new faces to the star-studded cast as rumors of Jackie Chan, Manny Pacquiao, and Hulk Hogan joining the franchise started circulating during the last part of 2014.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone pose for a picture with Manny Pacquiao in Macau before the Filipino boxer’s fight with Chris Algieri.

There are reports that Hogan has already signed on to appear in an undisclosed role. Meanwhile, Chan confirmed to Den of Geek last year that Stallone did approach him to be in “Expendables 4.”

“Sly [Stallone] wants me for Expendables 4,” said Chan. “I said, ‘okay’, because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn’t refuse, but I said, ‘Sly, can’t we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.'”

As for Pacquiao, KPopStarz wrote that Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are big fans of the Filipino boxer, who is currently preparing for his historic fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2.

The actors were seen at Pacquiao’s fight with Chris Algieri in Macau last year, and the website reports that Stallone and Schwarzenegger visited Pacquiao in his locker room to wish him luck and discuss the possibility of doing a film together. The website’s sources said that the eight division boxing champion agreed to appear in the film.

Reports for “The Expendables 4” casting have yet to be confirmed.

WWE 2015 News, Rumors: Brock Lesnar Staying With WWE, Officially Leaving MMA

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar announced on Tuesday, March 24 that he was signing a multiyear contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. With his decision, Lesnar effectively ended any possibility that he would fight in the Octagon again.

Christian Post Report – In an interview with the Associated Press, Lesnar said that the decision ultimately came down to a better working schedule with the WWE as well as a mental block that kept him from going back to MMA.

Lesnar said that he spent the past two months training with different partners and coaches to get his body ready for a potential return to the UFC, but he said that he never could get his mind back in the right place where he really saw himself fighting again. After making up his mind, the former champion called Lorenzo Fertitta, co-owner of the UFC, to let him know that he was returning to WWE.

Lesnar revealed that Fertitta made one last offer by doubling what promotion has initially offered him, but Lesnar said that he opted to stay with WWE instead.

“Lorenzo said to me, ‘Can we sharpen our pencil? Can we double it?'” said Lesnar. “I said, ‘It’s not about that. I’m calling to tell you where my heart is, and it’s not about the money,'”

“And then in the back of my mind, I’m thinking ‘Well yeah, it is about the money, but I don’t have to beat myself up for it.’ To prepare for another MMA fight, we’re talking 16, 18 weeks of pure hell, and then the cage door shuts and it’s on,” he explained.

Lesnar said that after having an internal disease called diverticulitis which took him out of MMA for several years, he was not the same when he was finally able to return to the sport.

“When you’re sick for two or three years and you don’t know what’s going on, all of a sudden I went from the baddest man on the planet to vulnerable,” Lesnar said. “I tried to picture myself coming down to the cage, and it was like a bad dream. It just wasn’t right, it didn’t feel right.”

“I’ve been a barbarian my whole life. I’m just a smarter barbarian now. Evolution, you know?” he added.

Our Humble King

Philippians 2:3-13

Christian Post Report – Typically, as the world’s kings entered their capital city, they were decked out in silver armor, riding pure white warhorses to signify their power. But the way God’s King rode into Jerusalem was similar to how He arrived in Bethlehem the night He was born. Jesus balanced on the back of a donkey, demonstrating humility and peace. Remarkably, the donkey was borrowed, just like Jesus’ first bed—a feeding trough.

    Dr. Charles F. Stanley (File).

He was an unemployed, homeless man without an army or any other visible sign of power. Isn’t it surprising that Jesus, the Creator of all things, had no possessions? Earlier on, He’d borrowed a boat and a boy’s lunch. One He used as a podium for teaching; the other, for miraculously feeding a huge, hungry crowd. And before this week ended, His dead body would be laid in a borrowed tomb.

This is the type of king who rode into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. His fame was soaring on the wings of perhaps His greatest miracle—raising His friend Lazarus from the dead—and when the crowd heard He was coming to Jerusalem, excitement reached fever pitch.

Because of the Passover, more than a million people had converged upon the Holy City. Jesus was surrounded by pilgrims, some spreading their garments on the road while others cut tree branches to place in His path. As He passed, the crowd shouted; “Save now, Son of David! Save now!”

Jesus had previously rejected all attempts to make Him king. However, this Passover was wildly different. He’d instructed His disciples to secure a donkey for His ride into the city, indicating He was the king foretold by Zechariah (9:9). From that moment on, there was no turning back or away. After this very public demonstration, the religious elite would be forced to either accept Him or reject Him—to seat Him on the throne of their hearts or nail Him to a cross.

Jesus knew that before week’s end, He’d endure the mockery of a kangaroo court, receive a merciless beating, and be forced to carry a cross through the streets of Jerusalem. He knew there’d be no cheering crowds that day. Yet this would be a week that changed the world. He knew that after He was dead and gone, He would rise again.

Thinking of Jesus riding on a donkey toward a certain and cruel death, I wonder, What does this have to do with me on Palm Sunday 2015? Then I recall the words, “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus,” the one who said, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me” (Phil. 2:5; Luke 9:23).

I have my answer: I am to follow Jesus to the cross, die to myself and become alive in God, then love the world and redeem it by loving and serving.
