Christian Post Report – After the One M9 that was announced earlier this month, it looks like there are more devices from the Taiwanese manufacturer than everyone expected.

First on the list is the One M9 Plus, which is already expected to make an appearance in an April 8 event in China.

Dubbed as the “More than One,” event, the company will finally unveil the QHD-powered HTC smartphone.

But while everyone was expecting just two devices from HTC to rival the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge from Samsung, it seems the Taiwan-based company has other things in mind.

In a recent report, the One E9 appeared out of the blue. The reports came from GSM Arena that showed a number of leaked live images of the rumored handset.

Last year, HTC unveiled its One E8 lineup, which is a cheaper version of its then flagship, the One M8. Aside from getting an identical design, the innards are also similar.

However, in order to make the device cheaper than the flagship, HTC used polycarbonate plastic instead. For HTC fans since the Sensation and One X days, they will surely love the feel of the One E8.

And now, the E9 could be announced very soon.

Based on rumors, the HTC One E9 will depart from its predecessor and hold its own as an Android phablet. Rumored specs include a 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a 32GB built-in memory, BoomSound speakers and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Rounding up the rumored spec sheet are the 20MP primary camera at the back and the 4MP UltraPixel shooter in front.

In the report, the HTC One E9 has just received TENAA certification in China, which means an actual release date is just around the corner.

Christian Post Report – Ted Pegula recently bought the NFL’s Buffalo Bills. He also owns the Buffalo Sabres of the NHL. He is committed to keeping the Bills in Buffalo but has recently said he does not mind if the NFL places a franchise in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Toronto and Buffalo are pretty close geographically and Pegula says that this question came up when he was meeting with the NFL to be approved to purchase the Bills.

Even though Pegula wouldn’t mind the NFL putting a team in Toronto actually getting to a reality where that is happen is a uphill battle. The league is now fully committed to getting at least one team moved to the Los Angeles market. Depending on what team or teams that ends up being the NFL would likely want to replace a franchise in St. Louis, and the London, England experiment continues with odds pretty good that the league will one day place a franchise there. That is three markets ahead of Toronto in line for franchises.

While the Toronto market is certainly big enough to support a NFL team the city had a very lukewarm reaction to the Bills playing one preseason and one regular season game there the past few years. A NFL franchise would face serious competition from the Toronto Maple leafs in the NHL and the Toronto Argonauts of the CFL. Many Americans don’t view the CFL as serious competition for the NFL but in Canada the CFL is immensely popular and has been for nearly a century.

With some 8.5 million people in the greater Toronto area, it is a market that is very attractive to the NFL. However. Given the popularity of the CFL and the almost religious like following for professional hockey it has to be asked if Toronto is a place where the NFL can thrive.

After weeks of endless rumors about the HTC One M9 Plus release date, it could finally be here. HTC has recently announced its upcoming press event on April 8, where the Android phablet could finally make an appearance.

Christian Post Report – Unfortunately for fans who may have been preparing to attend the event, the launch would be set in Beijing, China. In case the Taiwanese manufacturer does unveil the One M9 Plus, it means its primary target would be China and its neighboring markets.

Dubbed as “More than One” event, it is very likely that the press event will be the debut date of the company’s latest high-end phablet. In fact, the press invite poster itself showed the back cover of the One M9 Plus and its circular lens.

Interestingly, recent rumors have pointed out that the One M9 Plus will not be that big when compared to the newly announced One M9.

Some rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with a crisper and higher quality QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution.

The fact that the handset would be unveiled in China could confirm the rumors of a MediaTek chipset and 3GB of RAM. However, there are also reports claiming that the One M9 Plus could also make an appearance in the international market.

As a result, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 should not be left out of the conversation.

One of the more interesting rumors are claiming that the Android-powered smartphone will boast a fingerprint sensor technology similar to that of the Galaxy S6 from Samsung and the Apple iPhone 6.

The event is only a couple of weeks from now, so we will finally see which of these rumors are spot on.

Christian Post Report – Only two teams are left in the West Region of the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament as the top-seeded Wisconsin Badgers face number two team Arizona Wildcats.

The match is on March 28, 2015 and starts 6:09 p.m. ET.

In the second round, Wisconsin took care of Coast Carolina 86-72 with Frank Kaminsky coming up big with 27 points and 12 rebounds. The Badgers led big by the half and continued to pile on the pressure to eliminate their Big South competition.

Next was a match against the Oregon Ducks. The game was much closer than their previous but Wisconsin held their own with Kaminsky again providing for the team with 16 points and seven rebounds. He got help from Sam Dekker, who poured in 17 points as four starters finished the game scoring in double digits.

In the Sweet 16, Wisconsin faced the tough North Carolina Tar Heels and gave them more than they could handle. North Carolina led by the half but Wisconsin rallied in the second frame to prevent the upset-minded underdogs. Dekker scored a game-high 23 points while shooting 10-of-15 from the field. He also pulled down 10 rebounds to finish the game on a high note.

Arizona dominated Texas Southern in the second round, winning big behind Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and his double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds. The Wildcats held a 21-point lead to finish the half and eventually won 93-72.

Things were definitely much tougher in the Sweet 16 when they faced the Xavier Musketeers.

Arizona withstood an onslaught by big men Matt Stainbrook and Jalen Reynolds. The former finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds while the latter had 12 points off the bench. The Wildcats responded with 17 from T.J. Mconnell as he also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out five assists. Kaleb Tarczewski and Stanley Johnson each had 12 points in the 68-60 victory.

Christian Post Report – After Catelynn Lowell and her fiancé Tyler Baltierra appeared to have ended their feud with Farrah Abraham on “Couple’s Therapy,” it appears that the couple is at odds again with Abraham after she criticized the premiere episode of “Teen Mom OG” on social media.

On the MTV show’s premiere, fans got to catch up with Lowell, Baltierra, Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout. Noticeably absent from the episode was Abraham.

According to Radar Online, Abraham began retweeting fans’ messages about how dull the show was without her.

One tweet she shared, which was posted by a viewer read, “[Teen Mom OG] was such a snooze fest. Now I know why they asked @F1abraham to come back! She’ll be back next week, right?! Hopefully.”

Abraham then took a shot at Lowell with another re-tweet that said, “Technically @CatelynnLowell shouldn’t have been on the show cuz she gave up her kid. Her dysfunctional mom & his dad was the show.”

Both Lowell and Baltierra responded to Abraham’s post. Instead of posting a scathing remark, Lowell opted to take a calm approach and assured fans that she and Abraham had no ongoing feud.

“Just so [people] know I have no beef with @F1abraham what was the past is the past #beadults #TeenMomOG all drama put aside!” Lowell wrote.

However, Baltierra appeared to be offended by Abraham’s retweets as he wrote, “Hiding your opinion through retweets does nothing but make me laugh even harder at the delusional state of your mind #NoRetweetsNeeded.”

It was earlier reported that the Lowell, Portwood, and Bookout were not happy with Abraham’s return to the MTV show, saying that they were not pleased with the controversial star’s choices as she has gone on to write erotic novels and even released a sex tape.

Abraham told Radar Online that her “Teen Mom OG” co-stars were being negative.

“I’m tired of going around in circles with them,” she told the website. “All they want is to talk about me. Somebody always has to say something negative all the time. I don’t care and I don’t value their opinion.”

“Teen Mom OG” airs on Mondays at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Christian Post Report – “The Expendables 3” proved to be a bit of a let-down for Lionsgate. A poor showing at the opening weekend box office, coupled with the film being leaked online ahead of its release date and mixed reactions from fans seemed to have doomed the franchise, but Sylvester Stallone has high hopes for the series as he previously announced that there will be an “Expendables 4” and even a follow up to that.

Now, Stallone is reportedly aiming to add more new faces to the star-studded cast as rumors of Jackie Chan, Manny Pacquiao, and Hulk Hogan joining the franchise started circulating during the last part of 2014.

There are reports that Hogan has already signed on to appear in an undisclosed role. Meanwhile, Chan confirmed to Den of Geek last year that Stallone did approach him to be in “Expendables 4.”

“Sly [Stallone] wants me for Expendables 4,” said Chan. “I said, ‘okay’, because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn’t refuse, but I said, ‘Sly, can’t we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.'”

As for Pacquiao, KPopStarz wrote that Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are big fans of the Filipino boxer, who is currently preparing for his historic fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2. The actors were seen at Pacquiao’s fight with Chris Algieri in Macau last year, and the website reports that Stallone and Schwarzenegger visited Pacquiao in his locker room to wish him luck and discuss the possibility of doing a film together. The website’s sources said that the eight division boxing champion agreed to appear in the film.

Reports for “The Expendables 4” casting have yet to be confirmed.

Christian Post Report – There are many reality shows which aim to bring two people together in hopes that they would find love, and some of them actually deliver what they promise. Just ask Kenya Moore, as the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star has found her match when she appeared on “The Millionaire Matchmaker.”

Moore appeared on Sunday’s episode of the show, and the former Miss USA revealed that she is still dating her match, James Freeman.

When the 44-year old met with Patti Stanger on “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” she brought along her fellow housewife Cynthia Bailey for support. During a heart-to-heart with Stanger, Moore revealed that although she has been proposed to seven times in the past, she has a problem with commitment. The RHOA star also said that a lot of men in the past found her to be intimidating and “hard to handle.”

In a pageant-style competition, Moore picked out her dream man. Though initially she was interested in a pilot named Todd, eventually, she picked Freeman, a commercial real estate agent.

On the show, Moore and Freeman were seen taking a salsa lesson, and she happily told the camera that the date was turning out to be perfect so far.

They also had dinner at Sur Restaurant in LA, which is owned by “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump.

Of her date, Moore said, “This man is 6’3″, gorgeous, kind, romantic. What else can a woman be looking for? Cause if he’s not it, I give up.”

It turns out that Moore and Freeman continued dating after they met on the show. On Sunday, the reality star posted a picture of her and her new boyfriend having a birthday dinner together and captioned it, “Sometimes you can spend your whole life looking for a Prince Charming when a King arrives.”

“Thank you @pattistanger and @cynthiabailey10 and my fans for your love and support and desire for my happiness,” she continued.

Christian Post Report – TV’s favorite FBI agents are coming back. Fox has ordered “a limited-series event” with six new episodes of “The X-Files” starring David Duchovny as Agent Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson as Agent Dana Scully. Production is set to start in summer of this year.

The series ran for a record nine seasons which ended in 2002. Two feature films were made: the 1998 “X-Files: Fight the Future” and the more recent one in 2008 “The X-Files: I Want to Believe.” According to a report in E! Online, the new episodes will follow the events in the 2008 movie. Chris Carter, the show’s creator and executive producer, has admitted that no scripts have been written yet, but that “he has been thinking about the story” since talks of a revival started in November 2014.

In the 2008 movie, Mulder was a fugitive on the run and Mulder went back to medical practice in a Catholic hospital. The FBI, however, put them back together to investigate a series of disappearances. It is also important to note that the partners were living together and still romantically linked at the end of the movie.

Unlike the TV series, the movie did not have any trace of aliens. Carter said that the new season may bring back “the alien mythology” that the series was known for.

“I know what I want to do, how I want it to lay out—the balance of mythology to stand-alone episodes,” the executive producer explained.

The show’s original stars, Duchovny and Anderson were more than willing to reprise their roles. They were very vocal about wanting to “revisit ‘The X-Files.'” After the announcement was made, both took to Twitter to express their delight in the news.

At this early stage, some reports have already come out outlining some things they want to see in the revival. TVLine’s list includes an update about Skinner, the FBI big boss; an update about William, Mulder and Scully’s son who they gave up for adoption and perhaps a monster or two.

A season premiere date has yet to be announced.

Christian Post Report – “Game of Thrones'” Iron Throne aspirant Daenerys Targaryen would have been played by a different actress had Emilia Clarke chosen to accept the role of Anastasia Steele in “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

English actress Emilia Clarke, known as the Mother of Dragons in HBO’s epic fantasy miniseries “Game of Thrones,” admitted she was offered the part of Anastasia Steele for “Fifty Shades of Grey,” but turned it down due to the nudity required.

At that time, Clarke was concerned she would be labeled as an actress specializing in nudity if she signed up to submit to Christian Grey’s dominant personality. And while she has appeared in the buff several times during her last four seasons as Daenerys Targaryen, she says she has no regrets turning down the role that won critical acclaim for Dakota Johnson and over $500 million in the box office for the film.

28-year-old Clarke has since won a 2011 Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama, as well as received a 2013 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Khaleesi, Breaker of Chains.

Her role as Daenerys Targaryen has propelled Clarke into the A-list rank and made her a household name, something the actress is still trying to come to terms with.

“Never in a million years did I think Game of Thrones was going to take off like it did,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s taken me five years to catch up with it. I’m still not sure I’m there.”

According to the show’s producer D.B. Weiss, hundreds of actors auditioned for the role of the rightful heir to the Targaryen throne, but only one was able to deliver a “Joan of Arc” level of messianic intensity.

Fans of Emilia Clarke will be seeing that charismatic force again when Daenerys Targaryen returns for season five of “GoT” on April 12. Clarke will also be appearing as Sarah Connor alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in the retcon sequel, “Terminator Genisys” due out in theaters on July 1.

The band Stryper is comprised of Christians, said lead singer Michael Sweet.

Christian Post Report – Michael Sweet, lead vocalist for the rock band Stryper, is distancing the group from all labels, including Christian rock band, despite being a Christian himself.

During a recent interview, the musician addressed stereotypes in the music industry while answering questions about the Christian metal and rock scene. Sweet said he doesn’t follow Christian rock and asserted that he’s opposed to Stryper being grouped in with that genre.

“I come from a different school of thought and I do not like all the labels,” the singer told CrypticRock.com. “I do not like being referred to as a Christian rock band.”

Although Stryper, pronounced striper, is described by many sources as a Christian rock band, Sweet went on to clarify that the band is simply comprised of Christians.

“We are not a Christian rock band; we are a rock band comprised of Christians,” he said. “Just like any other rock band out there, you have rock bands that are comprised on drug addicts, you have rock bands that are comprised of Satanists, and you have rock bands that are comprised of Catholics, like SLAYER.”

Sweet also drew comparisons between Stryper and rock bands such as Black Sabbath and U2, protesting the unfair use of labels and how it affects the group.

“I do not know where the label ‘Christian rock band’ came from,” he said. “It is hard for me to wrap my mind around it. … It instantly puts you in a box. When they put you in a box, it limits what you are put on this Earth to do.”

Despite avoiding the term Christian rock band, Sweet asserted that Stryper members do not shy away from their faith.

“Some people misinterpret that as saying that I am ashamed of my faith or I am running from my faith,” he said. “People certainly cannot say that we deny Christ and our faith, but I just do not like being called a Christian rock band.”

According to the band’s website, “Stryper” can be traced back to the King James Version of the Bible, and the name represents the backronym “salvation through redemption, yielding peace, encouragement and righteousness,” created by Styper’s drummer Robert Sweet.

Meanwhile, Stryper achieved platinum status with The Hell with the Devil in the mid-1980s, and the band is in the process of recording their new album Fallen, scheduled for release later this year.
