TOPIC: Keys to Explosive Success in Business (II) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Daily Devotional 29 April 2019)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Kings 6-7; Luke 20:27-47

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 48:15-19

MEMORY VERSE: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” – Jeremiah 29:11

The MESSAGE:

The second key to an explosive success in Christian business is Vision. Vision is a driving force that brings growth and explosive success in business. To succeed in any business as a child of God, you must see the future (i.e Vision) of the business you are doing for sustainability.

God wants to give you a greater vision of who He is and the plans He has for your business. You can tap into the power of God’s vision for your life and business by meditating on Scriptures of promises such as Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you…”

The third key is hardwork. Honestly, hard work is required of any believer who wants to succeed in life, be it physically, spiritually, financially, even in business. The Scripture says in Proverbs 19:24 “A slothful man hideth his hand in his bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.”

There is no room for laziness and procrastination if you want to experience explosive success in business, Romans 12:11 says: “Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord…”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
YOUR ATTITUDE TO BUSINESS WILL DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF YOUR SUCCESS AS AN ENTREPRENEUR.

PROPHETIC WORD:
Your life will be repositioned and your business shall be established.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. My life and my business, hear the word of the Lord, come alive by fire, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Every demonic power attacking my business, die, in the name of Jesus.
  3. Power of my father’s house, assigned to swallow my business, die, in the name of Jesus.
    EVENING
  4. I receive divine power and strength to grow my business into the next level, in the name of Jesus.
  5. Every spiritual contamination in my life and business, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
  6. O Lord, deliver my glory and business from destruction, in the name of Jesus.
  7. Favour of God, overshadow my business, in the name of Jesus.

Express That Gift – Open Heavens for Teens 29 April 2019

Topic: Express That Gift [Open Heavens for Teens 29 April 2019]

Memorise: “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” – 1 Corinthians 12:7

Read: 1 Corinthians 12:8-10

  1. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
  2. To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
  3. To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

Bible In One Year: 2 Samuel 21-22, Luke 22:1-30

MESSAGE:

A young student who loved the Lord and served Him with a right heart had been trusting God for a healing anointing for a long time. One day, he was travelling from Lagos to Benin when they came across a fresh accident scene on the other side of the expressway. The bus he was in stopped and the passengers rushed to the scene of the accident to offer some help. When the brother got there, he was moved with compassion over the victims. There was a particular man who same t by the roadside bleeding, suddenly, that young student felt a strong urge to pray for that man. But he was afraid; no one else was praying for the victims, why should he be the odd one out? This young student left that scene without praying for that bleeding victim. If on the day Samson came in contact with a lion, he ran away, he wouldn’t have done great things that he did afterwards.

To express your gifts, you would have to overcome fear and turn your thoughts away from what people would say. If you refuse to express the gift you have, you remain limited forever. It is that gift that will make way for you and position you with kings and queens (Proverbs 18:16).

Action Point: Throughout this week, look for opportunities to express your gift.

Hymn 13:

1. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is the love of God flowing through you?
Are you telling the lost of the Savior?
Are you ready His service to do?

Chorus:
Make me a channel of blessing today,
Make me a channel of blessing, I pray;
My life possessing, my service blessing,
Make me a channel of blessing today.

2. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Are you burdened for those that are lost?
Have you urged upon those who are straying
The Savior who does on the cross

3. Is your life a channel of blessing?
Is it a daily telling for Him?
Have you spoken the word of salvation?
To those who are dying in sin?

4. We cannot be channels of blessing
If our lives are not free from sin;
We will barriers be and a hindrance
To those we are trying to win.

Seeds of Destiny 29 April 2019 Devotional: Kingdom Assignment – A Key To Accessing The Blessing

Topic: Kingdom Assignment – A Key To Accessing The Blessing [Seeds of Destiny 29 April 2019 Devotional]

It is when we function in kingdom assignment that we see the blessing of the anointing.

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is when we function in kingdom assignment that we see the blessing of the anointing.

Previously, we saw that there is a blessing that the Anointing of God carries, and that there are several ways to access the anointing.

Today, we are going to look at one of the ways to accessing the Blessing of the anointing, and that is Kingdom Assignment.

The anointing of God does not rest on a man’s head so he can brag; the anointing is designed for kingdom assignment. It is when we function in kingdom assignment that we can see the blessing of the anointing. God’s blessings flow for those who serve. You must make yourself available to be useful in the service of God. Whatever assignment or job you do, endeavour to serve God alongside with it. If you are a mechanic, as you repair cars, also lead your clients to Christ. As a doctor, treat your patients physically and also minister salvation and healing to them spiritually.

Kingdom assignment also means investing your resources into the Kingdom of God. No matter how anointed you are, if you are not a giver, you will die as a beggar. Your destiny is not at the mercy of what you get, but what you give.

Beloved, whatever you do, trust God for a greater dimension of His anointing upon your life, and your blessing is guaranteed in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: It is when we function in kingdom assignment, that we see the blessing of the anointing.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Use your talent, gifts and resources well to the glory of God
  2. Serve God faithfully both in the house of God and in soul-winning.

PRAYER: Lord, I make myself available to be used of You. I am available Lord; help me to experience the blessing of the anointing, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

Topic: Don’t be a lone Ranger (Open Heaven 29 April 2019)

Memorise: “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”- Ecclesiastes 4:9

Read: Mark 3:13-19 (KJV)

13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Bible in One Year: Genesis 38-39, Jeremiah 27:1-15

Open Heaven 29 April 2019 Monday MESSAGE:

In Genesis 1:27, soon after God created man, He gave a precise description of him as a unique being created in the image of God, with the male and female species embodied in a single entity named Adam. Genesis 2:20 further reveals that after God had searched for a suitable partner for Adam without success, He went ahead to perform an operation on him which produced the woman, whom Adam named Eve. When Adam saw Eve, He immediately recognized her as being the perfect complement to himself. This is why he referred to her as the “bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh” (Genesis 2:23). It is therefore obvious that from the beginning of creation, God had carefully coded companionship and fellowship into the human DNA. Reading through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, coupled with our day to day experiences, we are left with no doubt that God actually created human beings for companionship and fellowship. This is especially true of those who have become a part of God’s family through adoption.

Fellowship is a common enterprise or association based on shared values. Speaking on the nature of our fellowship as children of God, the Holy Spirit says in 1 john 1:7:

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

As children of God, the basis of our fellowship with one another is our fellowship with God, our shared access to the blessings of the gospel, and our common mission and objectives. The fellowship is demonstrated through our concern for one another and our practical commitment to the body of Christ. Furthermore, God’s people are called to work together, especially in the task of evangelism and missions. We are also called to recognize one another’s gifts and to support one another’s ministries. God’s ultimate purpose is to bring the whole of creation together and reconcile us to Himself. This desire for unity reflects the unity that exists within the Godhead, and it is expressed in the institution of marriage, which God established, and demonstrated in the oneness of the Church of Jesus Christ. God’s desire for fellowship with humanity is made known through His continuous call to all who are willing to come to Him and become His own. If the Self-Sufficient One desires fellowship, it is therefore strange to find a human being who thrives as a lone ranger, because this is contrary to God’s overall purpose. Today’s memory verse says two are better than one. Any attempt to operate alone therefore leads to isolation, loneliness, low productivity, lack of assistance, limited ideas and poor results. In conclusion, it is practically impossible to fulfil God’s purpose as a lone ranger. Therefore, appreciate God for you companions and the fellowship you have with others.

Open Heaven 29 April 2019 Monday Prayer Point:

Father, help me to have productive fellowships with the companions You have blessed me with, in Jesus’ Name.

Open Heaven 29 April 2019 Monday Hymn 5: Let Others See Jesus In You

1 While passing thro’ this world of sin,
and others your life shall view,
Be clean and pure without, within;
Let others see Jesus in you.

Chorus:
Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.

2 Your life’s a book before their eyes,
They’re reading it thro’ and thro’
Say, does it point them to the skis,
Do others see Jesus in you?

3 Then live for Christ both day and night,
Be faithful, be brave and true,
and lead the lost to life and Christ.
Let others see Jesus in you.

Topic: Be Faithful In Soul Winning

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16).

As Christians, we’ve received the mandate to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s a high calling. It’s something you’re to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction. You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ and the message of the Gospel. Don’t be ashamed of who you are in Him, and don’t let others make you ashamed of what you believe. Paul said, “…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth…” (Romans 1:16).

It’s only the Gospel that can catapult the sinner into salvation and righteousness. It’s only through the preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of God can be unveiled and embraced. So, there’re no options to the Gospel. Its power and efficacy is incontrovertible. It’s the only message that, when received, makes sinners sons of God, in a moment of time.

In 2 Timothy 1:13, Paul said to Timothy, “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” That means the words of the Gospel are potent, filled with inspiration, power and divine energy. No sinner should be around you over a period without being impacted by the power of the Gospel that you bear. Be determined about that. Be so fired up with the Gospel that its impact in men’s lives, and spread around the world, is all that matters to you.

The Bible says those that turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars forever (Daniel 12:3). Shine for the Master in this “Year of Lights,” by making enduring impact with the Gospel. Go the extra mile. Like Jesus, let what matter the most to you be to do the will of the Father, and finish His work (John 4:34). Let it be what you live for. He’s counting on you for the salvation of many in your world, and in the regions beyond. Therefore, be faithful in your responsibility as a soul winner.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the divine responsibility of reaching those in my world and in distant lands with the message of eternal life. The light of your glorious Gospel that I bear dispels the darkness in the hearts of the unconverted, destroying the bonds of religion, and establishing them in your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Pray for East Side Baptist

Location: Dalton, Georgia

Pastor: Roger Suggs

Weekly Worship: 11:00 AM, Eastern

Fast Facts: East Side was founded in 1927 on the east side of Dalton, Ga. In the late 1950’s the current building was built with the intention of reaching the community. Over the years the dynamics of the community changed and growth in the church declined to about 40 attending regularly for worship. East Side has begun a partnership with a neighboring school and is affiliated with a food ministry with once a month deliveries. Since they began serving the food bank last August, the church has began trying to reach into its community in more ways. Please pray for my Pastor Suggs that he would continually seek God and lead in the way He directs. Also pray for those making professions of faith through the food ministry.

Pop Francis donates $500,000 to help migrants in Mexico

The funds, from the Peter’s Pence collections, will be distributed among 27 projects promoted by 16 Mexican dioceses and religious congregations, Peter’s Pence said in a statement.

In recent months, thousands of migrants have arrived in Mexico, travelling on foot or with makeshift vehicles from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.

But they have been blocked at the border with the United States.

In particular, the aid is intended to assist the more than 75,000 people who arrived in Mexico in 2018, in six migrant caravans.

“All these people were stranded, unable to enter the United States, without a home or livelihood,” the statement says.

Bishop calls for better rural strategy to protect rural schools from closing

The Church of England’s lead bishop for education, Stephen Conway, said there needs to be a cross-Government rural strategy, following a summit held at Lambeth Palace to look at ways to safeguard schools in the countryside.

The event included representatives from Ofsted, the National Farmers Union, the Prince’s Countryside Fund and council and education leaders from across England.

Bishop Stephen said: “We have been reassured that the Government has a presumption against the closure of rural schools, which is a positive foundation for the future.”

Last month, the Department of Education report on Running rural primary schools efficiently suggested primary schools share headteachers, acknowledging that this was difficult in some small schools where the headteachers also did a lot of teaching.

It also reported on problems the rural schools have with funding, having mixed-aged classes and getting discounts on equipment.

The bishop added: “We have also heard from a number of stakeholder organisations, as well as those who are working with schools and communities across the country, who are exploring innovations in collaboration and the use of new technologies to improve pupil outcomes.

“However, it is clear that these steps alone are insufficient, and an overarching rural strategy is now required for the issues facing our countryside communities to…

Churches on London marathon route welcome visitors

The heritage site Explore Churches has shown where the churches are along the route.

St John’s the Evangelist church in Blackheath is first on the list, who cancelled their morning services and provided breakfast from 9-11am

They are followed by the Roman Catholic church Our Lady of Grace in Charlton and St Mary Magdalene Crescent Church in Woolwich at miles two and four.

Also in Charlton, St Luke’s church bells played the theme Chariots of Fire as clergy blessed runners with holy water.

Bunting was put up at mile six outside Christ Church Greenwich, a contemporary Church of England gathering, who had an early morning service at 8:45 and then went to sell breakfast rolls to supporters to raise money for their local night shelter.

The church where Henry VIII was baptised comes into view at mile seven. St Alfege in Greenwich is currently being refurbished with money from the National Lottery Fund to conserve its heritage for visitors.

St Paul’s Deptford is next, followed by Holy Trinity Rotherhithe, who have moved their Holy Communion to 5pm.

A few miles and a few churches later,…

Sri Lankans celebrate mass on TV following Easter attacks

Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, the archbishop of Colombo, delivered a homily before members of the clergy and the country’s leaders in a small chapel at his Colombo residence – an extraordinary measure underlining the fear still gripping this nation of 21 million people.

“This is a time our hearts are tested by the great destruction that took place last Sunday,” Mr Ranjith said.

“This is a time questions such as, does God truly love us, does He have compassion towards us, can arise in human hearts.”

In a rare show of unity, President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa attended the Mass.

Their political rivalry and government dysfunction are blamed for a failure act upon near-specific information received from foreign intelligence agencies that preceded the bombings that targeted three churches and three luxury hotels.

All Sri Lankan churches were asked to ring bells on Sunday while the lamp lighting takes place.

The US Embassy in Colombo has warned against attending any service at a place of worship this weekend.
